The restaurant is in a great location that is out of the way from the busy areas of Auburn. I walked in on a Sunday night with a party of seven and we were immediately seated. The staff was very friendly and prompt. They were attentive to our needs and very patient with the kids in our party. This has been the best service I have received in years. The food was also very delicious as always with plenty of leftovers. We ordered a soup, appetizers, two entrees, and two sides. That was enough to feed everyone.

Eating here takes me back to my childhood.My mom and I went recently after getting pedicures next door and shared one of the dinner combos. Her broccoli beef was great and my kung pow chicken was even better. Service was friendly and efficient. Food is still as delicious as I remember. Now I’m hungry…Thanks for keeping things consistent, Twin Dragon! I will return.

Went for lunch and had the Spicy Mandarín Orange Chicken. Service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious! Lunch special was only $11.95 and it came with tea, soup, main meal and cookie.

It reminds me of a little star in a sky of restaurants. Its very popular. I loved the snow peas with chicken and their house rice has large shrimp and their not skimpy with them. The staff is friendly.White table cloths. One of my favorites.

Just moved from SoCal to Colfax so very new to the area. Decided to get Chinese for Fathers day and they had the best reviews; heres mine:I only tried a few dishes but the ones we ordered were pretty good, especially the Beef BBQ appetizer and the BBQ Pork Lo Mein. My husband liked the Mongolian dish.The service was very good. We were sat immediately, and the wait staff were quick to order and check on our table. The only down size is the dining area is small but even busy, it wasnt overcrowded or too loud.The prices are reasonable for the area and you get a decent portion, enough for everyone to share.We will be back!

Its tough to get a four-star rating from me on a Chinese restaurant, but they have been consistently consistent for a very long time. Heaping portions for lunch specials. I eat some at the restaurant and get it to go and eat it two more times. Staff is very friendly.

The menu has a large selection of various Asian dishes in which my order was well prepared. It is not an attractive place, but the waitress was friendly, unlike the owner being impolite and snappy towards me when I asked to be seated after standing for 15 minutes, especially when there were available booths. Once seated, and a 20 minutes wait, I had to ask for a menu and water, and once my food arrived, not once did any staff asked me if I wanted anything else. Though a restaurant must have good food, it must also comprise good customer service, a welcoming atmosphere and a clean environment, so I will not return, nor recommend them.

Ug, we don’t get to eat out much so when we do it’s a treat. We got the meal deal for 20$ a person and got the egg flower soup, appetizers, sweet and sour chicken and friend rice. YUCK. The chicken was awful, like long thin pieces of very dry meat in a very red food coloring looking sauce. I ate a piece that was so nasty tasting I had to spit it out. Soup was gooey, like boogers! No flavor, gross. Rice was dry and tasted old! And the appetizers (paper chicken and a beef stick) were gnarly. Beef stick (pieces of beef on a skewer) were so over cooked and tough it was honestly like beef jerky.Def won’t be coming back :(

I LOVE Twin Dragon in Auburn! Its what every other Chinese restaurant wishes it could be. I cant find anything else that tastes like their style of Chinese food. Its not what you think of when most people think of American Chinese food... Its quality, not greasy, no msg, and again, their flavor profiles are so unique. One of my favorite things to order is literally chow mein, only noodles and sauce, no veggies or meat. Sounds boring, right? Well if you can make something as basic as literally a bowl of noodles with flavor, but have that flavor be so good that youre willing to drive hundreds of miles to satisfy the urge... Youve clearly made one epic bowl of noodles. Quality food, great flavor, lovely service, good environment, perfect town, amazing memories, decent prices, and best of all youre in Auburn. What a better way to finish an amazing meal than to step out of the restaurant into such an amazing little town nestled in the gorgeous foothills of Gold Country! After writing this review Im tempted to drive the 600 miles just to experience everything I just said again. Oh Twin Dragon, Auburn, California, how dearly I miss you.

Our waitress disappeared after serving; we had to ask another waiter to find her. . When we were ready to go, again had a long wait to find a someone to help us.I have to say though, the food was very good. A neighbor suggested this place, so once inside, it isn’t anything special to see, but was quickly seated at a table and presented a menu. A large selection of various prepared items of meats, vegetables, noodles, etc. I ordered an old favorite of Kung Pao and it was very good. The prices are average. The waitress was friendly, took my order quickly, and the food was quickly delivered to my table and well prepared, hot and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for the food, but the owner was rude when I tried to take photos. When I later saw online of all the great reviews, I didn’t understand why the owner was so rude to me upon my question to her about doing a review. Anyway, the server was nice and the food was very good, and I would recommend at this time, but if I’m treated rudely again, I will update my review, and not return.

I love twin dragon this restaurant is so cool the food is just delicious every which one you order is great the ladies are so professional they never make you uncomfortable they dont give you stupid question, and when ever I go there never get disappointment of any of the menu/dishes, shefs are great they making really really good food. Not great. Over cooked veggies. Same sauce on a variety of different dishes. Sweet sauces that should not be, like Sichuan and kung pao. Way too sweet! No rice with any of my 3 entrees and they did not offer me any which is a big problem with to go orders. Auburn is sorely lacking in good food and this place is no exception. I think the place by Save Mart is quite a bit better, in spite of a lower total score on google reviews. You have been warned!

A Chinese food fans paradise hidden away just off of Highway 49. The interior is that of a traditional oriental style with a cozy and quiet atmosphere. They are quick to welcome you and just as fast with the drinks and taking your order. The portions are very gratuitous, the food is amazing and delicious. We tried a good selection of the soups and food to ensure we get the full experience. The soup came out hot, thats the only good part. Flavorless for the most part, all the meats tasted like they were either prepared and frozen or had freezer burn. So many good Chinese place in Auburn, dont waste your time or money.

Have enjoyed two previous meals at Twin Dragon. Picked up a to go order last evening. Same order ( an order of sesame Chicken and an order of Pork Fried Rice ) as before. Dont know what happened but my to go order ended up in the trash. The usual plump flavorful chicken looked more like fried clams ( it wasnt ). longish strips of hard dry meat batter dipped with some manner of sauce. Almost looked right but the taste and texture were not something you would want to eat. And then there was the rice. Dont know what happened there either but dry and old tasting about covers it. Sorry Twin Dragon but this meal should never have left the kitchen. Too bad. My first two meals there were really good but not good enough to make this one OK.

Funny story: Even though Twin Dragon is just down the street from our house, we found out about it from a park ranger at a state park on the coast. Ive been eating at Twin Dragon Restaurant for over 30 years. I havent been there in several years. I used to eat there very often until I moved out to LOP. They still have excellent service and the food is really very good. Ive always said they have the best chow mein in town, but sometime during my absence, they stopped using the thin vermicelli size noodle that set them apart and started using the really thick ones like everyone else. 😕 Otherwise, still just as good as ever 🤗

Stop looking for a new Chinese restaurant. This place is absolutely AMAZING and consistent. The portion sizes are a great deal for the price. Small portion food. Cold food when served. I had a family of 5 and the manager sat us down in a booth.I had to sit on my legs so I could sit comfortably. The server did not even ask us how we were doing, not even once. Since our table was so small for the food, the server took our condiment tray so we couldnt have sugar for the tea. My daughter even threw up while we were eating dinner and the manager would not even give us a discount for the poor quality, food, service, and seating. Worst dinner experience Ive ever encountered. The food was terrible. Ordered sesame chicken and it didnt have the flavor of sesame at all. The chicken pieces were overcooked and tough, the sauce was like a generic type that they could use on any dish they make and there was some sesame seeds sprinkled on top. I ordered a small bowl of rice and it was dry and had a crust on the top like it had been sitting out on a table for a long period of time exposed to the air. Not impressed at all.

This was a very good place to go and eat and have some good Chinese food I took my sister there we have potsticker the Mongolian beef and sesame chicken and they are all very very good I would recommend this place to anybody
