Made reservations for 10 and came with friends. Robert was our server and was great. Everyone was pleased with Thief meal selection. I had the bacon waffle- delicious! Second time we are here. E will be back!

This place is AWESOME! The atmosphere is organic chic and the food is exceptional. They also have a cute outdoor dining area. I ordered the egg, bacon and french toast breakfast. My egg and the bacon were cooked perfectly. The french toast was made with a baguette and full of flavor. Delicious syrup also.They brew Stumptown coffee (a high quality roaster out of Portland, Oregon). So the coffee is fantastic.The service was excellent, quick and attentive.My only complaint is that they make you wait until everyone in your party is there to seat you. I had arrived about 15 minutes early to have a cup of coffee while I waited for my friend, and was told they couldnt seat me until my friend arrived. I dont really like this policy, but other than that, the experience was amazing.I highly recommend dining here.

This place was truly impressive. Everything was so delicious! The quality of ingredients top notch. And super important, they chose the right bacon and know how to cook it. This is one of my favorite local restaurants. I prefer to support local business and their food is fantastic, unusual and yummy! The roasted potatoes with blue cheese are amazing and the pumpkin bread pudding is perfect during the holidays. You should definitely check this restaurant out!

We took a road trip from Vegas to Cali and I’m so thankful we stopped by this cafe for breakfast. Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We loved our waitress. I wish I remembered her name. The food was out of the world. I got the bacon and blue loaded potatoes. Just WOW! 🤤 If you’re considering eating here, do yourself a favor and DO IT. Thank you all so much! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This delightful place is located in San Dimas, California. The service was great! Our server was very attentive and quick. Its like he read our minds. Our glasses were always filled, and the food was so tasty. I ordered the steak wrap, which I highly recommend. Although there was a line outside, we really didnt wait long to be seated. Plenty of parking, and they accommodate large parties. Its definitely a keeper. Very reasonably priced. If you decide to go, please go early; they close around 2 pm.

I would recommend this place to EVERYONE. It is absolutely my favorite lunch spot and I am more than willing to drive quite a distance to get there. It is woman owned and this lady is amazing. I can’t say enough at the quality of their food (I’m a former chef so it’s important). Their mimosas aren’t small at all and mixed with the agua fresca of the day, they are to die for. The Brie burger is my fav. Hands down. The photo is the bacon mushroom burger and bacon blue cheese potatoes …. I decided to change it up this time.

A hidden gem. Open only for breakfast and lunch. Large menu selection. We ate outside nice atmosphere both inside and outside. Parking could be limited based on the time of day you arrive. They dont take reservations. We waited about 15 minutes before being seated. Staff is very friendly, offering excellent service.

What a wonderful place. Just happened to be driving by and stopped. Wow, what a great tasting meal. Small place and very busy, but well worth it. I am going to make this one if my stops when Im in the neighborhood. Has indoor dining and a nice outdoor area. Highly recommend.

Serve Arnold Palmers: No, Food Presentation:: Nice, Overall: Past this place for years and finally stopped by to see why the parking lot was full. The paper menu had no prices which did concern me. The coffee ordered tasted old (Which also was a concern ),. When they had no Arnold Palmers on their drink list was like wow ( half lemonade, half unsweetened ice tea is not that hard). Anyways, the pulled pork sandwich was quite tasty as well as the kettle chips. If asked to go back I would and I will leave it at that...

I rarely get a chance to eat there, but every time I do the food, and the service is impeccable. We had a meeting in the morning and we were seated within 15 minutes of our arrival. I had the chance to meet the owner and was so impressed with how hands on she was, It is rare to see someone in that position running food and refilling drinks. I can tell that her presence elevates the workers and the great service they give

The food here is delicious!There is inside and outdoor dining. The patio dining is great, not only is it airy but it has a pretty view of the foothills. The employees are very accommodating and pleasant. Not only are the tables cleared after each use the employees spray the table down with disinfectant! A big plus for me!

I was really excited to try this place. I ordered the mimosa flight and there was lipstick on one of the glasses and some of the drink was missing. Not a good way to stay off my first time here but said screw it Ill stay and try the food it was good but not the French toast I am used too. Husband got tacos that were delicious. Our waiter was awesome. My only complaints are these... lipstick on glass, salt shaker look like it had took a beating. Patio chairs were wet and I had to ask for them to dry them off to which the lady said on it was the boys jobs to dry them. And we did hear a few of the waiters and waitresses cursing not that that was a big deal but if my kids were with me Id be more upset.

Great place in a great location. You will have to wait to be seated on weekends. I went at 9:30 in the morning and had to wait about 30 minutes. The service and food were great. Our server was very attentive and I never had an empty cup of coffee. Nice mountain view from this location as well. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was very good.

Great brunch restuarant. The food was worth the 45 min wait. The potatoes were my favorite and the coffee was nice and strong. If you are in the area definitely stop in and grab a bite to eat. They have expanded the place so a lot more seating than before. Everything we ordered was delicious.

I’ve been coming to Twisted Sage for over four years now. The food here is always amazing. I always order the French Toast Plate with egg whites and side of chipotle potatoes instead of bacon. If you ever visit this place you MUST get the chipotle potatoes! They’re the best. My boyfriend always orders the Breakfast Burrito with scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheese and homemade sausage. All of that with a side of coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice.The restaurant has also been completely remodeled. It used to have a country home style and now has a more modern feel. I miss all the cute decor and succulents they had in their patio, it was all removed after the place was remodeled. Same restaurant, different style, same great food.

The place is very clean and quick service which was great. The coffee was not great, very bitter and they are quite tight with the half & half. Food wise, it was decent but didnt have that wow, Ill come back here again factor. The salmon bagel was fresh but way too much zing with the pickles (especially with that coffee!). Delightful surprise, varity of items at different price points. Interesting burger options but no basic cheeseburger on the menu. Should expand side options for the main dishes that only offer kettle chips with no upcharge, except for maybe something that is entirely off the menu or is considered a la cart.

This is hands down the best breakfast place in the area. The food quality is fantastic. Biscuits and gravy was off the charts, and my omelete was absolutely stunning. The mimosa flight was GREAT. Only problem was our server charger us extra for certain things that were already included on the item. But its ok. My experience was so good I wasnt even upset

I really enjoyed lunch there, today. Service was impeccable. I only have two suggestions: 1) menu is hard to read--- black print on dark color paper. 2) Tables are nice, but small, which is fine. The table I had next to the fence outdoors was perfect, but I had to put my purse on the ground. I think it would be easy to put s hook on the table or fence to accommodate purses or wraps. Definitely will come back to this charming cafe. Thanks for nice afternoon lunch!

We love the new location especially Happy Hour from 3-6 Monday - Friday. Loaded Nachos are always a favorite, but so are the guacamole and chips, cheese pizza but with gluten free crust, heirloom tomatoe pizza and cauliflower wings... Oh, I think I forgot the brussel sprouts. I like that they have Kombucha on tap and that its part of the happy hour. We have been lucky to have Penny as a server more than once and shes a doll. Love her! Dessert is good too but not part of HH.

An amazing place for breakfast and lunch! They just re-did the restaurant a few months ago and it’s better than ever. Pro tip: order any version of the Upgrade potatoes- we liked the bacon clue cheese and the salsa verde jack! The Bloody Mary was delightful with the perfect amount of heat! There’s nothing on the menu that isn’t wonderful, but if you would like some help on deciding, the friendly staff will offer their favorites. They also have a great patio and delicious coffee! Highly recommend!

This is such a cute little brunch/breakfast spot. Its a little trendier, so youre not going to get the traditional breakfast foods, but for what they have its great.I went there for lunch and I was also pleasantly surprised. They had really good salads. Their berry bread pudding was likewise delightful and I have absolutely no complaints.The inside was cute, but I can hardly wait until the weather cools down to come back and sit outside. It took a while to be seated but the servers and every worker I came across were all very helpful. The reviews were really good, so I was expecting the food to be out of this world! It was really good, but my burger wasnt what I was hoping! The bread was a little dry and my patty was more red than I had asked. I do plan to come back and try their chipotle cheddar potatoes that looked really good. Overall I enjoyed my meal, and they didnt kick us out even though they closed at 2 and we were there well past this time because we hadnt realized how much time had gone by. The location is dog friendly, at least outdoors, and the plants and scenery outdoors was very nice, the shaded canopies helped keep it cool despite the heat.

Like I said it’s popular, but the wait is worth it.I’ve ordered many things off the menu from breakfast to lunch items and I’m never disappointed. What we couldnt finish we took home and warmed up later. I came to town to celebrate my sisters birthday and we decided to come here for brunch. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food selection was very impressive.Two things that surprised me was that my daughter asked for a side of fruit for her waffles and our waiter said they dont have fruit but a berry compote so we opted for that. It wasnt ideal but it sufficed.The second was that they dont have fries but they do have chips.My single complaint was that our waiter was less than attentive. He came to our table a total of 4 times and we had to flag him down for one of them to get the water we asked for from the beginning. Not sure if he was just having an off day because I did notice that this is not the case with the rest of the staff.I will definitely be back next time I come to San Dimas because there were so many items that looked appetizing. I want to try them all!

We barely made it before they closed. They are very worth visiting, especially if you get Justin as your server. Hes friendly and helpful making a decision. Twisted Sage is not open for dine-in yet and thats too bad. A couple or so years ago they doubled their size by adding a welcoming bar with additional seating. Because of restrictions, they are limited to a couple of small outside areas. The food is inventive and very good. We had their delicious french onion soup. A specialty. Very tasty. I added a half of their turkey and cranberry sandwich on wheat. Made for a great combo. My husband enjoyed his turkey avocado on a roll. Both were well presented and delicious. This place is a winner. Just remember they close early, I believe at 2 pm.

This place was recommended by a friend. It is on the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. The back drop is amazing! Especially with the wet winter, the mountains are covered in green & yellow vegetation! The plaza has an old world feel & look. The restaurant has a cute patio where you can eat & sit. There are 2 big double doors made of very nice wood work. Nice quaint place. Food was excellent. My bacon was not made fresh and very hard to chew (l have loved their bacon in the past because it was always made fresh.) The scallions on the potatoes were not as fresh and cut up very large (before they were always fresh and cut up thinly.) This is my second visit to this establishment. I am no more impressed this time than I was the last. On my first visit (3 months ago) I tried ordering a waffle. Our office usually gets Twisted Sage to go, so Ive only dined at the location a couple times, but wow. This is my favorite local place for fancy breakfast or lunch.Usually, I order a Turkey Bacon sandwich, which does not disappoint. The bacon is thick and perfectly crispy, hanging off both sides of the sandwich while the avocado stays centered on the bread. The ciabatta roll is soft enough to bite (which you dont often find).The breakfast plate has enough food on it for a brunch. Interesting lunch spot with a host of nontraditional offerings. Breakfast options are less interesting. Coffee is virtually undrinkable. And the layout inside is difficult to navigate. The prize: an inviting outdoor environment for bicyclists and those who worship Sol.Updated: We returned post pandemics (non-stupid version), to discover improvements in the layout and décor of the place. Delightful. Extremely inviting. And the chairs outside were very comfortable, unlike some establishments. But we still cannot recommend this place for the food. The sandwiches and salads are okay, but no better than Pandera. And we certainly suggest you avoid the lox-based Florentine benedict - overcooked (not very runny yolk), with a canned/jar based tasteless Hollandaise sauce on top of not fresh spinach.About all we can recommend is to sit outside and order the maple-based bread pudding, which is sweet and large enough to be shared.

Great Service.Only been open a year i believe and already this almost secret spot draws out a big crowd. I love the rustic almost hipster fill that comes with Twisted Sage Cafe.The outdoor patio is where you should dine esp on a beautiful day, and I think it is even pet friendly since its outdoors.My number one thing is service and from the front dest to the staff picking and dropping off our foods were super duper cherry and helpful!I asked about the bread pudding and wondered if it was going to taste just as good without bacon (since Im a vegetarian) and the girl didnt try to sale me and said no..its not gonna be the same.Our bunch meals were all yummy for our tummy. The hash brown was a bit heavy but it had chipotle sauce drench on it so it was obviously hearty. Over all good times !

Fast service staff is very attentive. The food was so delish we had the bagel lox, seared ahi tuna salad and the pulled pork Benedict. Everything was amazing. The agua fresca of the day was pineapple with mint and they added it as a mimosa it was really good.

The decaf coffee was almost ice cold, the service was very sporadic and unreliable. I very much appreciated the selection of items they have especially the Stump Town coffee, but if it cant even successfully be kept hot, it concerns me how well everything else is kept as far as cleanliness, food storage and preparation. Hopefully they will get things figured out soon, because it has great potential.

The Breakfast Croissant was good but, not worth getting again. Im not a fan of bacon as much. I LOVE Twisted Sage!!! Its a tucked into the side of a random office building/complex in San Dimas, but once you get inside, its awesome! The food is really great, but Ive only mainly been for breakfast. The breakfast croissant sandwich is really good, as is the ham and cheese sandwich. They also have Stumptown coffee and really great iced tea. Its open early for before school runs, and not too high-priced. Definitely worth checking out, as it is one of my local favorites!

I am not much of a carb eatter and most of it was carbs however we liked that it is pet friendly and we take our dog to a local dog park so we might come back and try some of their other dishes. The bloody Mary was just OK nothing wow about it, seems like the bloody is popular but, I probably wont be getting it again. The BBQ pulled pork was burnt but it was a nice compliment. The Mac n cheese was nothing special. Looking forward to another visit here, certainly is promising.

Thought I would give them another chance, heck last time could have been just a bad day. Well no, thats not the case, it must be the management that trains their servers not to care.Three of us are ordering lunch, we ask about half orders of wraps and sandwiches, we order two half plates and one full. When our order comes its the other way around and we question the person that brought the order (not our server). He gets our server who said no you didnt, you ordered a full. With one half of the wrap in hand he takes the plate with the other half and brings it back to the kitchen and a few minutes later returns with the plate so we can put the wrap down. Who does that? What are you going to sell the other half? Servers make mistakes, no biggie, but to take the half back and tell us your manager makes you do that. Ive never heard of such a thing. What do you think we purposely ordered a full but only wanted to pay for half. Crazy. I guess the management might do that at other places but Ive never heard of such a thing.I wasnt going to write a review but I ordered lunch today at another place and my order got mixed up. They fixed it no questions asked and told me to keep both orders. Thats how you do business, Ill be going back to that place again and again. Not the case with Twisted Sage, Im done until I hear that its been taken over by new management.

As a food critic. OMG. Delicious food. If you get a side of potatoes. Please pleade please! Get them with chipotle cheddar . it will not disappoint. The pulled pork benedict- to die for! Also the brekfast croissant ask for over easy egg and afd avocado-died and went to heaven. Mac and cheese forget it. Please give me the recipe. Lol. The price is a the tinist bit high but wont leave you broke. Totally worth it. Our server Trisha wonderful very helpful, excellent service from her. Enjoy everybody.

Food is okay, beverage choices quite bizarre. Prices are a bit out there though. The staff try really hard to be helpful, unfortunately some of them are a bit odd. Definitely wouldnt be my place to go if I had a choice.
