I so wanted this establishment to be amazing.I want to start with the fact that you’ll never be able to actually speak to anyone on the phone. It’s all through texting, so no warm customer service regarding that.Check in is very sterile, online only.The grounds were fine, it was extremely windy, And I know a storm had just gone through the area, so no big judgement there. The restaurant was okay, I ordered the jicama tacos, not the best choice, the mushrooms were so rubbery that you could barely chew them.I had asked when I checked in if there was a coffee maker in the room, the front desk person (who wasn’t THE most friendly, not unfriendly, just no personality) said that they’re no longer doing that. That’s a huge disappointment, especially at the prices of the rooms- there should be Nespresso machines in the rooms. The only option for coffee in the morning is walking to the small little coffee/wine shop across from the restaurant…some people like to drink coffee in their room before they go out.My room was nice, however, I expected the spa pool to be private, and it wasn’t. You can walk along the path right on by and see everything. So that was misleading in the room description. You can also hear all the traffic from the road. The location is just too close to town, I honestly expected it to be more remote.I had a massage which was actually the highlight of my visit. My therapist was Amazing!
I’m actually shocked by the lack of professionalism and hospitality at this place. It’s beautiful but it feels like it’s the first day of work for every member of the staff. No one knew the answer to any question or were willing to help find it. The restaurant forgot about us and forgot half of our order. The water from the sink was cloudy. I was hoping this could be a regular spot to visit in socal but at every turn, we were completely let down. I travel a lot and this was one of the worst experiences in terms of hospitality in quite a while.
An absolutely beautiful and special place. The staff is very welcoming, the service is fantastic, and the overall feeling of this place is calm and relaxing. I’m very happy we came here and will definitely stay again.
We went for a girls trip after our airbnb in Idylwild was unexpectantly unavailable. I was hesitant to go to the desert in the summer, but was pleasantly surprised. Even though the temperature was 100, it didnt feel hot. We stayed by the springs most of the day. It was breezy, but it didnt feel windy. It just felt pleasant. Its a lovely spot, a very relaxing experience. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and ordering breakfast by the springs. The staff were all helpful. Look forward to a return visit.
This is my second time here and Im more in love of this beautiful place the second time.Had a wonderful 2 nights in this Oasis. So peaceful and incredible spa.I will definitely be coming back again.
If I could rate Two Bunch Palms zero stars I would. I inquired for my group for a day pass with the spa via text communication which proved to be insufficient to clearly express their booking requirements. We were told to fill out the credit authorization form which we all did. The customer service rep did not tell us that we would have to then text back to book spa services. The next day, after paying for an uber ride to the property, the guard did not have my parties reservations. The guard then called the spa manager and was told that the spa was booked to capacity and we were not let in.They literally turned us away at the gate. We called the spa to speak with someone and no one answered. We had to stand at the gate and ask the guard to call the spa again so that we can speak to someone. They tell him that we have to call. In the meantime, another security guard shows up at the gate, not sure if they sent him or if it happened to be a coincidence.After finally getting someone on the phone, they were not apologetic about the experience and I had to beg for proof of cancellation even thought my card is still showing a hold for service that we did not receive.The whole experience was truly humiliating and infuriating. No efforts were made to try to accommodate us, but just shunned at the gate. They would not even let us come onto the property to wait for another uber. We had to stand on the side of the road at the entrance while the security stared at us from the front gate.I WILL NEVER EVER TRY TO VISIT THIS FACILITY AGAIN. The worst customer service and experience ever!
We stayed here for our baby moon and could not have asked for a better experience! The combination of holistic, relaxation and amazing food and beverage was exactly what we needed to celebrate our pregnancy. The Chef, Jesse, puts love in all his recipes and food and you can taste it in every dish! No need to leave the resort!
As a long time Two Bunch visitor, nearly 30 years, I can offer perspectives on the past versus the current version of the TB experience. My review might be in the weeds so to speak, but, very accurate and thought out. I want management to continue to improve their product as I love this property and hope to continue coming there for years to come.The new treatment rooms are awesome. They are designed for a perfect massage or wrap. Their AC is perfect and the quietness is very welcoming.. Adding a couple bathrooms would be a benefit for this area as well as a really nice large co-ed sauna and steam room.The old TB had the mud baths, actually Canadian peat moss, which were a unique experience. Adding these to the menu or a slight variation would be great. They were a signature treatment of the old TB.Your spa staff is exceptional. I had 4 treatments in 2 days and my group of 4 people had 16 treatments. The consistent comment was how passionate and knowledgeable their therapist was..I would also add a spa waiting room which is not part of the restaurant. A place where people could confirm their appointments and maybe be offered tea or the post treatment green drink.As far as ordering or reserving a spa treatment, your current system is awful….We booked our rooms 3 weeks in advance and had to scramble for spa times as we were told that the online system was being updated and we could not book times until a week before our arrival. When we tried a week before, most slots were taken…Please fix this! Perhaps a dedicated person to assist guest with their scheduling?The restaurant and bar were excellent. The revamped dining room is comfortable although somewhat sterile. I would not play the house music at night but rather something spa like during the day to acoustic guitar or piano at night and definitely a more quiet tone.The menu is very good. Good variety, lots of vegan options, and very well presented. Maybe offer more fresh juices made at the bar and not bottled pre made juice.The people working in the restaurant are awesome…….The rooms……..We stayed in the villa suites. We loved the newly added wooden tubs to these rooms. They drained quickly and you were able to fill them just as fast.The bed was a perfect firm foam mattress with an additional sink able layer of memory foam. Really nice.The thermostat in our room never worked correctly. It would turn up the temperature in the middle of the night forcing you to adjust throughout the night. Maintenance could not correct the problem.You should have plumbing check the on /off handles to the sinks and shower. They were all loose.The no door bathrooms and the wide open shower was not to my likening. Fine if you’re alone but not ok if you are staying with a spouse or date…….A coffee machine and larger refrigerator would be nice.I will not bash the no room service though. I think getting out and walking the magical property is a benefit of staying here.The added concrete pools are a nice addition.The coffee and wine bar in place of the old registration office is cool.The landscaping on the property is very well maintained.Allow us to feed the ducks, turtles and fish………Thanks for keeping Two Bunch, Two Bunch.
My wife absolutely loves this resort, she likes the offerings of solitude on the property. Its very quiet and super relaxing. If you need stillness with a splash of hot springs romance..then this is your jam. Not much night life and no food available after 10pm. But service is amazing. Pablo at the bar has stories and perfect mixes..

We booked a visit later this year and was very excited to be going. A long list of spa services was emailed shortly after the reservations were made. I called a couple of times to speak to someone about the treatments as I wanted to book a dozen or more services. Not a chance! First time, no answer, second time I was put on a brief hold for over 15 minutes. So not customer service oriented! Based on this poor experience alone, I am dreading phoning again and also my upcoming visit!
Very special property and spa in the desert. Rooms need some work (more like 3.5*) but the grounds are why you come. The reserve pools are private and like big jacuzzis. Food is tasty & tailored on the vegetarian side. The activities are unique and entertaining (tarot card reading, sound bath, all styles of yoga). Big recommendation if you are looking to chill and relax.
Came for my husband’s birthday and we had such a great stay! Very quiet, relaxing, and the location is absolutely beautiful. a lush oasis in the middle of the desert. We enjoyed soaking in the private pools, we had no problem reserving them via the hotel’s website. Our room was very nice, bedding super comfortable. The restaurant was also excellent (extra love for the ban mi sandwich we had for lunch today). The staff was very nice. We ll definitely be back!
Had an amazing time at Two Bunch Palms celebrating our 10 year anniversary. The grounds are so lush and inviting and the mineral pools were a great place to relax throughout the day. They offer reservations for a portion of the pools so you can have a more private and calming experience. The food and drinks available were lovely and they had sufficient vegan options for a long weekend. There are so many fun places to sit, relax, read, or unwind. They also have an abundant list of free classes each day. I highly recommend a visit and cannot wait to come back myself. Thank you to the friendly staff and stellar service from everyone!
Two bunch is truly a magical place. The ambiance is amazing. Very peaceful and relaxing. The pools are beautiful and just the right temperature. The staff are always very helpful and really sweet. Food is amazing. Healthy but lots of options so if you want something that’s vegan / vegetarian you have something to choose from, but also some other options to indulge in like salmon and steak. The jicama tacos are amazing.I see a lot of people with some negative reviews about the rooms, while the rooms are simple, it honestly didn’t really matter much to me! I was never in my room. They offer everything you need, the bed was comfortable and clean, there was a mini bar with yummy snacks and drinks. There is also a little porch outside with chairs to you can hang out. They offer so many classes and there are so many pools to soak in that I didn’t ever find myself just hanging out in my room.The massages are amazing. They have really talented masseuses who know what they are doing! Very professional and will focus on specific areas you ask for.I really just love this place and highly recommend it if you are looking for somewhere to recharge!
HelloI’d like everyone here to know that this resort has stunning grounds, beautiful people and kind staff (for the most part). CHRISAY YOUNG is the reason I will never come back to this resort. She has no care for the clients comfort or enjoyment. This is such a shame as the ground are so incredible. For this reason, I would not recommend coming to this resort as there is no proper management to accommodate your needs.
Overall, we had a very lovely stay and would consider returning in a sunnier time of year to enjoy more of the beautiful grounds. There is a ton of shade so even in the summer, I think itd be quite nice.Arriving: We drove in from LA and there was a gravel parking lot with an attendant who met us there to take us to reception to check in and our rooms. The map they give you is not to scale and everything is much closer than it seems.Room: We stayed in was fairly basic with a nice shower and porch. We went in March which was rainy but still lovely. There isnt room service and calling the golf cart attendant is very slow so prepare for that.Pools: The public tubs are nice but in the cold they cool down quickly. I highly recommend making reservations for the larger cement pools which you can do on their site or with reception. Those are attended to ensure they stay hot and are around a bunch of other pools but semi-obscured from each other.Food: The restaurant was AMAZING. The drinks and food was all beautiful and delicious. I highly recommend the lions mane tacos. The service isnt the fastest, but that allowed us to chat more and enjoy the view.Spa: We got lymphatic massages which were quite nice. The massage rooms are all separate and, at this time, a bit cold. You wait down the stairs from these rooms in a courtyard with a fireplace and wait for your massage therapist to come and get you. I recommend bringing cash for their tips but you can add tip to your room charge when you sign the bill after your treatment.
The new Chef Jesse Avila is an inspiration. We are so lucky to have experienced his cooking in the beginning of his career before he blows up and moves on! Cannot say enough about his menu!
Really enjoyed my stay at Two Bunch Palms! The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Lots of amazing minerals tubs to enjoy. The room was well designed, nice bedding and comfortable mattress. The showers had good pressure control and felt so nice after a long soak in the mineral tubs. The restaurant staff was friendly and there was a good selection of healthy menu items that also tasted great. My favorite part was definitely the spa though. Brenda was my massage therapist and I would come back just for her! She really knows what she’s doing, my whole body was so relaxed after our session. I got the antigen wrap and Swedish massage, she talked me through all the steps and was so friendly. I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed it. Would recommend to anyone and am already planning my next trip!
Took my wife here for our Anniversary. The mineral water and tubs was relaxing, rooms were cozy . Staff went above and beyond our expectations. Everything we had at the Restaurant was eclectic and delicious. Had the chance to walk the grounds and was peaceful. Had the best couples massage and facials. Will Definitely be back.
Overall just an OK experience.Outdoor areas with pools are great, the cold pool is ok. The other pool on the map is more a pond than a pool and besides ducks and turtles, no one was swimming in it.. the hot stone massage was a 5 star experience, but overall this place could not hold to its expectations.There is no room service, no coffee maker or water kettle in the room, food is very expensive…If you take your food from the restaurant as to-go, it’s all in plastic .. in general a lot of plastic is used..long story short:there are other places around that cost less and offer more.
I was hesitant after reading the bad reviews, however The staff were impeccable and extremely helpful.They kept us well informed about the resort and all of the amenities. The grounds were well kept and the facilities were clean. Its a Beautiful California Desert Property tucked away in an oasis peppered with hot springs built to wash away your stress and cares. Its a romantic getaway and a wonderful resort to reconnect with myself, my husband and nature We felt so peaceful after staying at such a tranquil resort. We’re definitely coming back soon!
I came for a solo wellness trip and loved this place. I met several solo travelers as well in the art and tarot classes and really appreciated the vibe (everyone is here for a purpose- not a party place). The staff was super helpful and the grotto area was amazing in addition to private tubs that are easy to reserve. I came mid week and took advantage of the $100 off of treatments. I’ll be back. I recommend getting a room closer to the grotto Vs the desert ones as those are isolated but depends on the traveler. Thumbs up!
Its such a shame to say that our stay at Two Bunch Palms was very disappointing. We had heard such great things and tried to plan a special trip but it was overall an underwhelming experience.The grounds are beautiful and well maintained but the customer experience and the hotel-standard left a lot to be desired. For example, before booking our emails went unanswered, there was no personal touches or welcome upon arrival (online check-in only), the rooms were stark and uninviting, the single-use plastic everywhere is so contradictory to the resorts messaging and the overall premium experience we were hoping for and that the price-tag indicates.The worst part, is that the feedback we submitted directly to management again, went unanswered which tells me that the owners and managers are not willing or open to fixing or changing the issues. You have lost us, and out network of friends, family and acquaintances as customers.
Literally a warm-water oasis in the middle of the desert. Yoga in the morning, soaking in the grotto and numerous soaking tubs throughout the property, tarot readings, art classes, delicious food and cocktails and complete relaxation all day. Everything was incredible!
Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Essence restaurant is pricey and underwhelming. You come here for an oasis get-away and it delivers strongly on that. Come for the hot springs, stay for the hot springs, come back for the hot springs. Best massage I’ve had in quite some time. The duck pond is a fun place to check out. Teeming with waterfowl, fish and turtles! I can see where some people might nit-pick on the minor details, but this place was a pleasant surprise for me and my wife. Update: Went back in 2022 and was impressed w/ the restaurant! Ate their twice … Delicious!!
I really like the place and hope to stay a bit longer if possible. The reception ordered us a golf cart to move our luggage to the room. I went straight to their tub for the luxury experience. The dinner and the brunch were very yummy. We explored the garden in the next morning and we would definitely come back!
First of all, this place was just the most relaxing hotel/resort that I’ve been to. I stayed at the hotel for the weekend for an anniversary and it was just PERFECT. The staffs were super chill and nice! I totally recommend if you have any special day coming up or an event. Oh, they have this free painting and yoga classes, which was pretty interesting/fun.PS. painting class instructor offers you free wine ;)
TBP is perfect for couple, lover, group of friends but not for children. Amazing place with lots of activities. Peaceful and relaxing resort in the middle of the desert.
This is my second visit to two bunch palms. The grounds are beautiful and pools are nice. The rooms are like motel six. At the price tag of $800 a night it is appalling. Our shower in room 8 had wires sticking out everywhere- likely from a broken fixture. The heater was loud and did not function well. The rooms were poorly lit and the decorative pillows had tears in them. The resturant food was good but overpriced.
Two bunch palms is the ultimate spa retreat within 2 hours of Los Angeles. Once you enter the gate you don’t need to leave. There are amazing activities all day into the evening . Whether you are into yoga, chakra healing, walks, sound baths or wine tasting. It’s there all day every day. All the new private spa tubs are wonderful . Make sure you make reservations before you go for spa and private tubs.
Two Bunch Palms is truly enchanting.I love staying there, I’ve been there several times and each time I leave feeling, renewed and relaxed. The place is beautiful, the service is excellent. Every single person who works there is is very professional and super sweet. We travel often and love getting Spa services, Two Bunch Palms have superb spa services. The grounds are beautiful. It seems to get better with every visit. They go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay. Everyone is so friendly the customer service is amazing. The facility and grounds are amazing. Soaking in the grotto is a must. The small pools and tubs are great too. The food at the restaurant was healthy and delicious. The staff were super helpful. Now comes the rooms. The rooms dont quite live up to the overall resort itself so that is why Im giving an overall rating of 4 stars. Dont get me wrong they arent awful but Its clear that they have done a lot of work to the entire site so my hope is they will eventually get to updating the rooms. If youre looking to get away with your significant other to unwind and recharge then you really cant go wrong.
Stayed in November 2022.What a true oasis. All the staff went above and beyond and the food amazing.It seemed like we had the place to ourselves during the weekday and noticeably busier as we were leaving on Saturday.We stayed in the springs room and got to enjoy the hot springs next to it. Felt there was more privacy in the communal area than the reserved.
Our visit was to join a friend for the day. We didnt have a room to discuss. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Our friend is a wonderful source of information & history about the spa. The whole area is calming, very relaxing. A peaceful place to enjoy a day.We had a lovely lunch at the organic restaurant. Food was exceptional. Service delightful.If there was a way to just spend a few hours I would definitely do it. And I read in some past reviews about no water bottles in the rooms. Did you know that the area where the spa is has the best water. Just grab a glass to find out. Enjoy.
I enjoyed my stay, but the one thing that did bother me was, there wasn’t anyone ever at the front desk when I walked in. I would have to wait a few minutes for someone to come greet me. If the room is $500+ I expect to have service in a timely manner. Although, when they did show up the service was great and everyone was very friendly.
Absolutely stunning. 5 Stars all the way around. Peaceful. Tranquil. Breathtaking. Super relaxing. Amazing staff and cozy clean rooms. The concrete tub soaks are perfect for hours of soaking and relaxation. I will definitely stay here again and not just for one night.
Beautiful grounds, pool and environment. Healing waters you’ll feel relaxed after your visit. Room was decent, the over priced for the size and amenities provided.I would say my biggest complaint is it felt like a lot of the guests weren’t affair to relax, but more to pose for IG pictures with changes the vibe of the entire place
I was really torn on whether or not to book here based on the recent reviews. Ultimately I’m glad I did but it was a bit of a mixed experience.The pools are wonderful and clean surrounded by lush desert landscape that makes this place shine as a private oasis. It wasn’t difficult to find a pool to myself at different times throughout the day. Towels were always available in the main areas. And several water refill stations placed throughout the property made it easy to stay hydrated in the summer heat. Most people kept voices lowered and chat to a minimum making this relaxing which I wanted from this visit.I booked a Grove room to be close to the main areas but received a complimentary upgrade to a King Spring (room 11). It was on the backside near a main road but wasn’t any issue for me. Very simple room, not entirely worthy of the price point but consider the pool amenities to make up for the cost. Some slippers in the room would be nice.I was concerned about bugs in the room as mentioned from other reviews but had no such problems. As expected noticeable outside near the pools since it is desert + water but was pleasantly surprised at minimal encounters.My massage was lovely but agree with others this isn’t a real spa experience. Complimentary beverage post treatment was a nice touch. However, I had booked the retreat yourself special that offered a complimentary spa service and had to follow up twice about the charge to get it corrected. I’ll chalk it up to the system bumping this detail when they upgraded my room but a detail I expect a hospitality company should be able to manage flawlessly.The activity offerings left more to be desired. The schedule was extremely limited during my visit and only 7/8am options available (too early to be the only choice in my opinion). The sound bath and instructor were lovely despite having construction take place during the session and right outside the pagoda. Again, with such a limited schedule a resort should know to pause this kind of disruption during a wellness offering.The food was ok. Decent array of plant forward offerings for a set menu but overpriced for how simple everything is. First night dinner was great - server Katelyn was sweet. Second night however something threw the staff off. John was great at the start and then got pulled behind the bar with no other servers coming to check on me. I wasn’t in a rush but overheard many tables complaining. They were kind to comp a few things for the inconvenience.I went mid-week (Weds-Fri) and the resort was maybe a little over half capacity.
If you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil, and stress-free weekend getaway, Two Bunch Palms is the right place for you. Not crowded, clean, and quiet. You get to reserve private pubs too! Everyone was super friendly, from the security/parking staff to the restaurant server, etc. Would definitely come back here for another weekend getaway 😊
Came here on Labor Day and the temperature wasn’t bad since there is tree everywhere here. Good rate in summer and less people. Wish they allow one night stay in the winter as well. Since we are always outside so I think it’s not necessary to have to stay in the suits room for private tub bc currently it is off season, u can easily get the tubs anywhere. Recommend grove rooms. Spring room is right next to tubs but I think grove room prob more quiet from walking people.

They provide excellent communication via texting and person to person communication. We are definitely coming back. The facilities are gorgeous, the mineral pools and soaking tubs are truly a gift from nature, and this establishment has created an oasis for its guests to indulge in all of the healing properties that they have to offer.The spa services hands-down are some of the best we’ve experienced. Visiting Two Bunch Palms was exactly what my Love and I needed. It was an opportunity for us to unplug, rejuvenate, re-calibrate and relax in a beautiful serene environment, where we are well cared for and looked after. 🙏🏻😌🙏🏻Thank you!

Great atmosphere super relaxing staff is very nice. Hot springs pools are amazing, the grotto is very beautiful and peaceful. Try the TBP TROPICS drink made by Fed So yummy!
A good mix of guests here. Families, couples, and close friends alike all visiting for some health and peace. There is plenty of hot spring around the property so you never have to share a tub. Free coffee in the mornings is clutch and actually pretty decent.
Amazing place for relaxation, sunsets, & stargazing! they have more than enough mineral water tubs and a beautiful grotto area, along with plenty of walking paths that are fun to explore day & night. lots of activities and programs for guests too. Lisbet at the spa was a delight & very insightful. Vijith at reception went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable and we really appreciated the hospitality.
I truly had one of the most welcoming and beautiful experiences. I worked with Dayanna to plan a work retreat for my team and she made the entire process smooth and effortless. Once we arrived the resort staff was incredibly accommodating and some of the kindest people ive met in hospitality. Very tranquil calming vibes highly rec booking for yourself or a work retreat!
I am giving it three stars because the last two years, the experience was drastically changed. I’ve been coming since 2016, and it was love at first site! The waters are so healing. The food was to die for. And the classes were taught by true healers in the area. And it was SILENT BY THE POOLS. and silence was enforced. This was amazing, as it felt like a true magical getaway from everyday life. We met so many people who have been coming for decades! And then the remodel happened… so say the least: If you’ve been someone going since the 80s, you may find this place is not for you anymore.It’s still gorgeous, but some of the integrity was been lost In my opinion. The once magical getaway for all seems like now the cool spot geared and designed for social influencers. I’ve been three times during the remodel and after. Each time the experience has changed. I’ve given feedback to management as well about several huge changes such as the food quality and consistency, classes being too full to even attend one throughout my whole stay, and the rooms being equipped to function. Each manager I’ve vocalized concerns to have shared ownership has changed.Which makes total sense and is palpable.Overall my advise- if you’re going for the healing waters. Go. (I still will for the waters). The thermal pools are probably the other thing keeping my booking 1-2x a year. But if you’re going for the room decor, food, and classes- I’d like to just point out, things have changed. And I am not so confident they are for the better.I hope others who feel this way share similar feedback. Because I miss the “oldTwo bunch” and a lot of guests I’ve spoken to and friends who frequent do to. Two Bunch has the potential to have some of its roots restored/reclaimed. And it is so magical, that it deserves to.Pro tip- stay in the villa suites. Best bang for your buck and they are the size of an apartment. Private pool. Private hot tub. Private patio(s).
We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay at Two Bunch Palms. I read a lot of reviews before booking, and I will just say we did not experience ANY of the negative things people have to say. All of the staff members went above and beyond to make our stay special and accommodating, the food was absolutely delish and if there was ever a hiccup they made sure to take care of it, our spa experience was absolutely serene and relaxing (worth every penny), our room was VERY clean, we only saw cockroaches at night but that was because they are desert cockroaches and we are on THEIR land, the communication was great before booking and during our stay, every employee we passed said hello and ask how we were doing, the experience some of the classes they offered and were so fun and much more thoughtful then we expected. We came during the off-season and it felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves - so if you can bare the heat then you should book now! There pools were nice and open, the service at the restaurant and bar was quick, it was great! It felt like the days were long and slow, so our trip felt so much longer than what we booked. No yoga during the week. Rooms $$$$ but tiny no chairs or tables or counter space. Bed was very comfortable, nice sheets, excellent TV selection. Big patio with 2 chairs and no table. After 3 nights i was glad to leave; the room was like living in a closet @ $400 a night. No cold water to drink in reception when you arrive on a hot day. Massage was excellent. Not handicap accessible if you use a wheelchair. Most accessible areas were removed with the hostile new management. Their solution is you ride around on a cart which is illegal for handicap accessibility.Bring your own cold water. Coffee a.m. was excellent. Danny in the staff was wonderful. Security heavy handed.... lots of cockroaches by the main springs; but management insists they are water bugs.
This place is the worst. We stayed in a tiny room, with a loud AC from the 70s getting zero sleep. The entire resort is incredibly run down. The tiny room worth a 2-star hotel rating was $857 a night during low season in November after all the hidden charges and taxes. Absolutely not worth it.
It was the most peaceful and beautiful experience even in 115 degree. The staff is so nice, the site is gorgeous, the room extremely comfortable and cool and the restaurant has a healthy and exceptionally made menu. Next time we will book the Capone suite!
Decided I wanted to take a solo self-care trip which is something I’ve never done before. I was worried I might get bored but I was verrry wrong. I could literally spend all day in those tubs 😍. I booked a package that came with Spa and F&B credit, both of which were amazing. Food was healthy, delicious, and service in the restaurant was great. Up until this trip, I’ve never done anything in a spa before, but the staff was super accommodating. Honestly everyone at this place was top notch. The “text for help” thing was a little weird but they were super responsive so I got used to it.I see some people on here complaining about all the influencers here. Are there gen Z influencers who come here? Absolutely, but I don’t really understand why anyone cares? For the most part you can find a secluded spot if you want. They were respectful, and who doesn’t love to post an envious photo for your friends every once in a while?
We are just leaving from a 3 night/4 day stay at TBP, and I felt compelled to write a review due to the incredible experience we had at this resort! Before our trip, we made sure to read reviews and were aware of some negative experiences- leaving us a little skeptical. Im not sure about the other reviews, but we never experienced anything less than 5-star. The grounds were clean and well kept. Our room was simple but just what we needed (and the AC kept up great!) Every staff member who interacted with us was SO hospitable, going out of their way to ask about our trip, offer to bring us water and towels, etc. from the front desk, to restaurant staff, to grounds workers.We received comments that we picked a perfect time to come as its their off season. We saw maybe 5-6 other couples our entire stay, and most of the time it felt like the resort was to ourselves. I can see how maybe in their busy season, service my differ as the staff are so busy trying to keep up with multiple stayers.The food at the restaurant was fantastic! We did have a couple times where our choices were not available (not surprising due to the shipping and inventory shortcomings in our current times). Service was fast and friendly. Lianna, Natalie and Angel were all so great to us!!!We had a spa service completed and it was LOVELY - highly recommend the adaptogen body wrap treatment. We took advantage of their free classes (tarot reading and paint+sip) and both were so enjoyable! Majority of our time was spent by one of the mineral pools, reading and floating. SO good to unplug and just simply enjoy.All in all, we will be back. Highly recommend this resort!
Beautiful place and beautiful pools. Nice new pool facility. However the rooms needs work. The AC doesn’t work and make noises throughout the night. Other than that, it’s nice to stay. If they can make it a priority to change the ACs
Everything from pre check in to check out was fantastic! When i didnt have an internet connection before i arrived, Chryse in registration helped us make Spa reservations so everything was set when we checked in. I had a wonderful spa treatment with Corey. The food was so flavorful and we loved the natural wine. We will definitely be returning.
Ive been coming to Two Bunch for several years and it has always been and continues to be on of the most beautiful, relaxing and magical places Ive had the pleasure of staying at. Staff is always helpful, the grounds are lush and Ron at the spa is so talented!
Love this place, gorgeous grounds and excellent food in the restaurant. Only complaint really is the very bright blue light on the ac unit that keeps everyone up all night. We covered it in stickers
I always love this place, but this time was just extra special in every way. The staff was extra vibrant and loving, and Kenny was super helpful in getting us situated and comfortable. I will be back and of course will be recommending it to everyone!
UPDATE: I returned to TBP in January 2023. This time I brought my BF to celebrate his birthday. As always, the pools were lovely but I have to change my ratings from 5 stars to 4 stars. There have been even more changes since my last visit...1. They now require reservations to use 85% of the tubs. The 5 or 6 original tubs do not require reservations but all others do. The first available time for a concrete tub was at least a 5 hours wait on both of the days we were there.2. On my previous visits we were allowed to arrive early and enjoy the tubs prior to checking in. This time, if we wanted to come more than 2 hours prior to check-in time, there would be a $100 charge. Check-in isnt until 4pm.3. There is now a wellness charge added to spa services and restaurant purchases. They tell you that this money is used to provide healthcare for the TBP employees. While I applaud the offering of healthcare, why not just provide it without letting your guests know? It feels like they are just using this as an excuse for an additional charge.4. We specifically booked a couples massage, but were placed in separate treatment rooms. We both asked about it prior to our appointments but were just told no, that wasnt how it was booked. During my previous visit, we received a complimentary beverage after a spa service. That was not the case this time.5. Our room appeared pretty well worn. I have included photos of the bathroom floor and the door to our room to help show what I mean. The room we stayed in definitely did not justify the pricetag of over $300/night. I feel like a few simple repairs could make a big difference. I think mattresses are new, which I didnt find to be very comfortable (memory foam).Came to Two Bunches in early January 2022 for a three night getaway with a girlfriend and had the most amazing time. This was my second time visiting Two Bunches and I will definitely be back. My first trip was in 2019 and several things have changed since then (both good and not so good), but Ill list the improvements first.1. They added a lot more pools (guessing somewhere around 12-15). We always had our own pool (It wasnt too crowded during our stay).2. The old spa is gone and they now have freestanding treatment rooms at the top of the property (near the wine bar). These rooms are much nicer and a lot more private.3. During our trip they werent charging the daily fee (I think it is $25 pp) and they arent allowing people to purchase day passes in order to limit the number of guests.The not so good:1. There are several changes to the rooms. The first time we stayed our room had a large private (fenced) backyard/patio. The fences have been removed and the privacy is gone. Also, they updated the decor in the rooms and Im not crazy about the new look (I posted pics of the new light fixtures and what I can only assume is a beanbag chair). Im not sure if anyone would actually sit on this or find it comfortable. Also, they removed the coffee makers from the rooms. They do offer free coffee/tea in the restaurant for several hours in the morning but its something I definitely miss.2. They are finding ways to cut costs and/or charge more. The spa prices have definitely increased (I paid almost $200 for a facial). Also, you no longer get a free water bottle at check-in (but you can buy one for $15).Along with the good and not-so good changes, many things have remained the same and they are the reasons why I will continue to come back.1. The staff is amazing. They are so polite and helpful. Hands down the best hotel/resort staff I have ever encountered.2. The restaurant is great3. The overall atmosphere and hot springs are so relaxing. Honestly, I dont consider myself to be a hot tub person (I hate being too hot/overheating), but the water here is perfect.
I have visited two bunch Palm at least three times while living on the West Coast, to be to be exact poinsettia place in Los Angeles while I was working at the 7th Veil.This place holds a special place in my heart and will always be one of my top favorites.Life changing for me, peaceful mind set for you.Looking forward to seeing you soon.
We had a fabulous stay here! My husband and I got eloped in Joshua Tree National Park, and we got ready at Two Bunch Palms and then, had a little mini-moon here. Everyone was so nice from reception to the restaurant. Originally, I stayed at Two Bunch Palms in 2019 after a work conference. I stayed in one of the Spring rooms, took a yoga class, ate a delicious breakfast and dinner and had an amazing, relaxing time. This time, we started off in the Al Capone Master Suite and then, spent an extra night in one of the Grove Villa rooms. They have done a lot of landscaping as well as adding more pools since I was last here and everything looks beautiful! You are in nature so you can expect some critters, but we didn’t have any problems. The Al Capone Master Suite was lovely, and we enjoyed the private hot springs tub. The landscaping around the tub does need some trimming, but they skimmed/ cleaned our pool when we asked. The Grove Villa room was very spacious and the bathroom was incredible. The private jacuzzi is not a hot spring pool, and I have a feeling they will be remodeling those little pools in the future (they look dated). All the remodeling that has been done is top notch in my opinion. We enjoyed putting our feet in the little jacuzzi, but the hot spring pools that are a 5 min walk were the best. We spent the majority of our time in the hot spring pools. We got massages one day, which were fantastic. We also played tennis and enjoyed the grounds while we were there and hung out at the hammocks. We ate in Palms Springs a couple of nights since it is only 15 min away. The only con is if you want to take a ride share, it was difficult finding one after dinner to come back to the resort. Nothing to do with TBP just a note for travelers when visiting. Two Bunch Palms made us feel relaxed and so happy. I cannot say enough good things about this resort! I have recommended it to so many friends and family. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you to everyone one working there for making our stay and our special day so fantastic.
WE use to go there a few times a year, This past week we made a reservation and stayed for 2 nights after 3 years, It was the worst ever, rooms are like a jail cell, so small that you cant even stay there, Service was horrible except the night clerk. great guy. water in the warm pool was dirty, shuttle service sucks, and waiting staff worst that ever. We will never go back again,
Two Bunch Palms is the perfect serene getaway. If youre looking for a quiet place to take in the beauty of the dessert while soaking in natural hot springs- look no further. Theres a different vibe while youre at Two Bunch and you immediately feel calmer when entering the property.The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the decor of Two Bunch is trendy and unique. The hot springs are to die for- they have multiple different pools and tubs available for use and they are very clean. The staff is absolutely wonderful- very friendly and accommodating. One of the best parts of Two Bunch is the food- its all natural, organic, sourced from local farms and you can taste it. Every meal we had there was 10/10.
My highly anticipated visit to Two Bunch with my boyfriend was met with both delight and disappointment at the same time. There’s a lot of conflicting reviews and I now understand why. The delight: The property is captivating and there are so many areas to enjoy. The mineral water pools and tubs and especially the grotto are wonderful and are surrounded by lush trees that give you a real sense of peacefulness. We were there during the off-peak, Sunday-Tuesday in the middle of June, so we had no difficulty finding pools and private tubs to enjoy all to ourselves. They just recently added 14 new tubs and it was great. I had requested a Grove King room in the section closest to the front/main area which ensured we didn’t have to walk very far to enjoy the hot springs and restaurant. We also took part in all the programs offered during our stay which was a fun experience. I got a massage and while I think $200 is quite high for not having any spa amenities included (the massages take place in individual tiny but well-kept bungalows; no actual “spa”), my Relaxation massage was very good. Our server at the restaurant was so friendly and awesome, and almost made up for the overpriced menu and underwhelming food. The disappointment: Aside from the food, the rooms are not remarkable either, to say the least. Pretty bare bones with half functioning A/C unit and bugs everywhere, which I conceded with given we’re in the middle of the desert. (Be forewarned of cockroaches running rampant throughout the property especially at night. Such is nature.) I didn’t like that the cement floored room had no rugs at all (and no slippers provided) so I laid down towels by the bed and in the bathroom. I had to text a number to make my request for additional towels to be brought to our room. After two hours of not hearing anything we assumed it would come to us in the morning and went to bed. Housekeeping decided it was appropriate to show up banging our door and yelling for us at 3:20am. Even if it was an issue of delay with the texting system (so we were told), anyone with common sense would have texted back to confirm if we truly wanted towels brought to us at 3:20am. Sometime in the morning would have been more logical. We thought we were going to sleep so well the second night but wouldn’t you know it, the smoke detector goes off this time, incidentally around 3am again. We learned from an online search that bugs can trip the sensor and make them go off and I’m pretty confident this was the case. We were fighting bugs the whole time we were awake. I got 3 bites to my face and neck while asleep. When I travel in Southeast Asia the villas are always treated with bug bombs between guest stays - they should just make that a practice here. We couldn’t wait to get back home to LA to get a good night’s rest. Oh the irony. I had expected a lot more for over $400/night (weekday off-peak season pricing). I would love to return and enjoy the property when the staff goes through real hospitality training and the rooms get a bit more attention. There were so many little things that could have changed our experience from okay to great and it starts with a more hospitable front desk staff. I hope they figure it out because the grotto is everything.
Lots of mixed feelings about their place. Ill review the individual aspects:Grounds: Amazingly well kept property with a huge amount of beautiful hot spring pools that are well maintained along with many new pools. The labyrinth needs some love. The yoga/healing dome feels like a dungeon. I dont understand why they need to maintain so much grass, seems wasteful.Massage: absolutely incredible, life-changing deep tissue massage. Also costs >2x what it should.Room: This is is the worst part of the experience. I reserved a mountain view room and got a room with no view, that had a strong musk, beat up door, broken toilet paper holder, and towel hangers. Asked for them to fix it or swap us and only got offered a downgrade. They sent maintenance to repair the hanger/holders, but our first impression in a $450 room was a bummer. The room was SUPER small and felt cheap. No room service, no daily housecleaning. Also expect sirens at night because Desert Hot Springs is sketchy.Restaurant: clearly understaffed and struggling, but the employees there were making an honest effort. I feel for them. It sound like their chef left as well. The cocktails we good, but not properly measure, and for an $18 cocktail I expect it to be made properly.The dinner was mixed. The hamachi crudo felt uninspired and lazy. The steak was very good, all though overcooked.Would I come again? Maybe? It would be pretty low on my list of where to stay in the area.
We did a resort buyout for a large group. Two Bunch is an incredibly beautiful place with a unique feel- the energy there is instantly calming with the constant sound of the wind blowing through the palm trees and the sound of moving (hot springs) water permeating the resort. Ive been to other well-known wellness resorts that feel more high end and spa-like, others that feel more rustic. Two Bunch feels like its integrated with the dessert itself- an oasis that feels more natural and grounded. The rooms are spacious and feel like bungalows. The fact that you can decide to fill a hot tub and a firehose of 150 degree (they cool the water of course) water from the earth fills it up in a couple of minutes is incredible. The staff worked really hard to accommodate our group (resort buyout). Everyone in our group feeling revived, inspired, and more connected and the resort and the staff was a big part of that experience.
We have been coming here for over 20 years. Every time is wonderful. Having breakfast served while we were soaking in the tub was next level. Good time!
I had a very relaxing time at Two Bunch Palms celebrating my birthday with my sister. I had to change the time of my massage several times due to car problems getting there. I am so glad I finally got to have it. My massage from Elia was wonderful! She is amazing.
Probably one of the nicest places Ive ever stayed in my entire life and I frequently stay in 5 star resorts. This is not a 5 star resort necessarily but the grounds and rooms are so lovely and unique that it makes for a truly memorable stay. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the property. The restaurant food is amazing as well and all the staff are about as friendly as it gets so its all positive vibes.While this isnt going to affect the 5 star review there were a few hiccups with my stay. I kept getting locked out of my room (3 times) which was kind of annoying, but the walk around the grounds was so nice I didnt mind hiking up to the lobby to get a new key every day. Also, the Twine Room was pretty much closed the whole time I was there and there are not really any nice spots to get some work done so Id recommend they get a little coffee shop with some snacks/healthy shakes on the go during the day which would make this place absolutely perfect.
My husband and I planned a somewhat last minute micro-wedding. Like most couples, we felt like we didn’t really know what we were doing. With a guest count under 30, it was hard for us to find a venue that suited all our needs. We knew that we wanted our special day to be somewhere we loved!We had stayed at TBP the year prior and both had a wonderful experience and decided we wanted to share it with our closest friends and family members.Two Bunch Palms staff worked with us in helping organize and plan the perfect small wedding! They were truly so accommodating, patient, helpful and kind through the entire process. Dayanna and Danny both went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. All of our guests said they had one of the best times of their lives. Between the gourmet, seasonal food, the mineral soaking tubs, the cute ducks at the meditation pond, you would have to really try hard not to have a great time. We can’t wait to go back and experience the new soaking tubs they’re currently constructing and relive our special day! 100% would recommend.
Visiting during covid is definitely a different experience but Jason the new chef made it allworth it. He is an amazing chef with a true love for creating flavorful and creative dishes. Can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu.——-This is our second visit to this resort and they are still working some things out but overall we had a great experience.The food is very creative and flavorful and the restaurant has a wonderful view. Some of the servers do not seem to enjoy their job or people very much and I think it would be a great addition with some friendlier and more attentive servers to match the athmospere and culinary experience. We still had a great experience though as Angel who brought our water was very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations.The soaking tubs and poolsAre amazing and the property is very beautiful.Danielle in reservations is very friendly, knowledgeable and offers great customer service.They offer great classes and we loved the classes we took especially the painting class. The teacher is very friendly and creates a fun and creative athmosphere.Looking forward to our next stay.
So first of all, the hot springs are amazing! The pools are great, well maintained, and plentiful. We were always able to find an open pool and the grounds were very beautiful. My issue lies with the service and room quality. For the nightly cost I was seriously disappointed with the basic amenities. The service was scaled back due to covid and the lack of room service and cleaning services made a notable difference.The rooms were nicely designed and comfortable but since there wasnt daily room service and a lot of sand from the long walk to and from the pools that collected over the 3 nights we stayed and it felt very dirty by the time we checked out. We also had an infestation of ants on our second night and while they were very prompt to address, after they sprayed, no one ever came to clean up after so we had dead ants all along the baseboards the rest of our stay.Like I said before, the hot springs are really lovely. However, there was no real service anywhere in the pool area. The only bar was inside the restaurant and you could text a number but it wasnt widely advertised. I would have spent a lot money if there had been more active service. And while the campus is huge, they only keep the towels by the main grotto and on a card table by the cold pool. There were also multiple times we went to soak they were out of towels.We also got massages at the spa which were really nice but after the spa, we were told we could have a free wellness drink (the first thing that made me feel like I was at an expensive resort) but we had to walk to the bar inside the restaurant. We were in robes and the restaurant was filled with diners so we passed for everyones sake.Im sure covid has played a part in some of these complaints but overall we walked away feeling like we really overpaid. I feel like this resort has the potential to be an amazing retreat but it was really lacking the detail and effort that make it so.
We stayed in one of the Villa Suites in late October, and had a lovely relaxing time. For one, having a private outdoor jacuzzi was fully decadent. But the shared pools, from the grotto to the swimming pool, were all worth spending time in. The staff there is lovely and very helpful, and the food was surprisingly good. The chill vibe, aided by the fact that it is adults only, was a welcome relief. And the pond with two dozen ducks was a favorite spot for me.
We arrived 45 minutes early for check in 1:15pm and were turned away because 2 pm is the earliest they allow guests checking in on property. We were hoping to grab lunch at the restaurant first before checking in, but instead had to kill time at the nearby Vons. A bit of a rocky start for what was meant to be a celebratory one night splurge....but then we met Lianna who works in the restaurant. She turned everything around for us. She was attentive, kind and accommodating. The spa staff were amazing, and we left feeling relaxed and very spoiled. Thank you Lianna for your great energy and kindness! Our visit was great because of the people who work at the resort.
The staff was polite, but seemed inexperienced? There was no orientation to the facility so we had difficulty finding the yoga building. A 30 minute delay to begin the class because the door was locked. The instructor was very good. The massage was excellent. The setting is pleasant. Pools were clean and soothing. There is no main locker room to change and shower. I felt like I was in the basement catacombs. The facility is old and would benefit from remodeling. The service at the pool area was inattentive. We discovered at the end of our visit that there was another area with a larger pool that we had no idea about. We werent given a map to the grounds- when we did find one, it was a hand drawn sketch with no key to the map. It has potential to provide a much nicer experience.
Great getaway spot for a solo or couple trip. It’s all about the grotto natural hot spring pool and beautiful landscape. Limited food options but for a two or three night stay you’ll manage. Rooms are simple but clean and the bed was firm and comfy.
My husband brought me here for my birthday weekend, and we had a fabulous stay. The room was clean and minimal, though had everything we needed. The restaurant had really delicious food that accommodated plant-based and gluten free diets. The grounds were stunning, and well-shaded during the scorching hot days, and the classes were a really cool addition to our weekend. We did a mud bath and a CBD massage that were both wonderful. We will most definitely be back!
I had a magical weekend here. First things, Nick who works the front desk was amazing before my arrival answering 100 questions and finding me a spot onsite that met my needs. The location is gorgeous - for me the main springs pool was where I spend my time in the water or reading besides it. It’s very calm and peaceful. Restaurant staff were funny and friendly and the food was great. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get out and unwind. I did several of the enrichment classes: yoga, art class, etc and they were great. Spa services were also a nice escape. Only downsides for me: clientele is mostly white and not diverse, it ain’t cheap, and spa needs a remodel (which is in the works??!). I’m already planning my next adventure.
Staff was friendly once we got there so I’m not sure about the other reviews, but it was very difficult to work with them to schedule the service. They didn’t respond to my emails and I had to call and email several times to get confirmation.Massage therapists were amazing! The grounds were beautiful.The shower/changing situation was really bad. There was only 1 tiny room to change in and could only be used by 1 person at a time. The showers are gross and not updated and there was no where for a woman to comfortably change except the 1 tiny room. Very difficult to get ready there for dinner after. I hope they renovate this and if so, I’ll definitely go back!
The grounds are beautiful and my partner said his massage was one of the best hes ever received. The front desk hostess is quite rude; we got the impression that it was an inconvenience for her to check us in. She had the same tone over the phone so we avoided the front desk during our stay. The rooms do not have desks and my VPN would not connect to the network, citing security concerns. I had to use my hotspot for meetings. The restaurant was also a disappointment. We waited 30 minutes for a ($20!) under-seasoned egg burrito. Had to track down the wait staff for water and the check. Pass.
Two Bunch Palms is like a garden of Eden: a beautiful, lush spot however spoiled by human: towels, lunchboxes, plastic cocktail cups everywhere and even cigaret buts near the pool. Full trash bins and insufficient staff to clean up the place. Guests to the property seemed very disrespectfull, negligent and noisy (had to call security twice at night for loud, fighting neighbours). Careless front desk staff (nobody asked How is/was your stay?) and property is a mess.The hot baths are amazing, rooms very nice however couldt make up for the overpriced stay.
AMAZING I’ve never left a review anywhere but the stay was beyond great. Getting away from Los Angeles for the weekend was much needed and I truly felt pampered. All of the staff were very friendly and personable in a manor that couldn’t be faked. Even with construction there were many amenities available. Private soaking tubs both nights, and I opted for a mud bath which is a must try, certainly different but then again you can’t find this everywhere. The cherry on top was the final dinner the food and drinks were great as expected but the service is what grabbed my attention. We had Jeremy as our server and he blew us away, very friendly and attentive. We got so lost in conversation that we felt guilty as if we were pulling him away from other tables. Overall a five star experience I look forward to visiting again.
A more eco friendly stay that at other spas, check out their solar field, natural waters, local food, local wine, and walking trails. We saw magical sunrises and sunsets daily. I love the fact there was no road sign (I heard it blew down in a storm and wasnt replaced) but it made it feel even more private. I love the fact that there is no parking anywhere near the rooms so that no matter what the time was I never had to hear a car engine, door, or people. The music in the cafe and spa was great. The room was perfectly clean and quiet, with an interesting mini bar selection the likes Id never had. The hot springs water was amazing and very clean. The trails around the property were interesting and safe. The food was fresh and the coffee delicious. We truly appreciated the CBD available on site as well as the interesting spa services. We enjoyed the scalp and body massage. However, they do offer a mud bath which they call pungent and I called putrid so it may be a good idea to try to see or smell one before committing to the booking, trying to get in it made me laugh until tears came out which was therapeutic itself. We will return again in the future.

Lianna was so lovely and gave us the best food recs and made outstanding cocktails.I miss the zero waste policy they had pre COVID and the old spa as it was timeless and offered a better variety of servicesI will keep coming back as this place is so special. The room doesn’t have a chair, a table, or a bottle of water. Some of the rooms don’t even have a TV. Reserved a table for dinner. All my friends showed up on time, but the restaurant manager put us on a wait for another hour. They provided complimentary drinks during the wait. The bartender and the waitress were nice, but the food was mediocre. Then we wanted some extra bath towels, and we eventually waited for 2 hours after calling the front desk 3 times. This hotel is definitely OVERPRICED!!
Very disappointedI requested to cancel my reservation, since this place is 3.5 hours away from us, so we started driving since 7AM to be here at 10:30AM just to be told that we can not go in until our check in time at 2PM. When we arrived Ive been told by the security that I cannot come in without a reservation once I made the reservation just then Ive been told that I cannot come in until the check in time. I would appreciate at least if Ive been told before doing the reservation online.Of course we were not going to go straight to the room, we would go to the restaurant, spa until our room would be ready. How embarrassing, to come here with guests and not be able to at least go inside and have all the guests waiting. Was very excited to spend my weekend here, but never coming back after the embarrassment we had here. We ended up cancelling the reservation. Never coming back here. Very unfortunate.
I am an OG Two Bunch Palms fan. Back when it was wacky and low end. It’s now approaching sophistication and gets better all the time. This is a very special place.
I have been a regular and big fan of this resort, but last visit was a bit disappointing. They changed hands and changed some of the things that made this hotel a standout for me. They changed the rooms and I have always loved being by the grotto, but the room was dark, uncomfortable bed with hard to get on platform bed, no closet to hang clothes, no coffee maker, no TV. I guess they were going full on decompress from the world mode...but those was not outlined in additional cost for this room, which was very pricy. I suppose if you hate coffee, hate electronics, like dark room with no place to hang clothes this is your jam, but I would have loved a room more like the past. Which had a closet, big fluffy, comfortable bed and light and airy room. The restaurant also changed and the breakfast area no longer has balcony where you can sit outside view beautiful scenery or read paper in robe as you enjoy your coffee! However, as I stop bemoaning the changes this place is still a gem in the desert and romantic as all get out! The food is great still and the grotto is relaxing and therapeutic. The spa treatments are all top notch. So making sure I dont book the same bare bones room for way more money I still would go back.
Very disappointing. We had been coming to two Bunch Palms throughout their many owners. Pre-pandemic they finally got someone managing the spa that was polite, professional with great customer service skills. It was even better than we had ever remembered. This was just after Rachelle, who made sure all the calm and good vibes were squashed by her. She had been rude in dealing with another customer when we had checked in last time and were not sure if we would go back. Now the spa is not managed, like our room that was not to covid standards the spa was unprofessional, dirty and many of us waiting were upset because we all missed our start times and the staff didnt seem to care. There were piles of towels everywhere. Very unsanitary. Please bring back the smiling nice spa manager!
Two bunch is incredible. The rooms are beautiful (thin walls though so bring ear plugs), the grotto (hot spring pool) is glorious, and the staff are charming. I wish I could spend a week here! Its an absolute paradise. The food is pretty phenomenal too, though a little on the pricy side if you anticipate eating three meals a day here. Overall, amazing experience and will definitely return.

Definitely a relaxing experience with nice staff and rooms. As other mentioned, minor complaints about the room (poor WiFi reception, etc.) but overall very satisfied with the room/villa (size, bathroom, outdoor space with fire pit). More pools/hot springs than on first sight and the overall grounds are very scenic. Food at the restaurant was decent as well; definitely not bad. Don’t regret coming and would consider coming back again.
We came for a day spa package. We received great massages, the pools are ok, the hot pools being nicest. The restaurant and management staff are not the strength of this property. Basically, a total disaster.I recommend that you enjoy the pools and soak, but dont plan on anything resembling good service or good food from the restaurant or management.In short, we wont be back.
Overpriced resort. The Restaurant is excellent. Treatments are average. The staff needs more customer service training. The grounds are beautiful. I wish the new owners all the best.
VERY WINDY. Comfortable beds and rooms, and a cool mud bath experience. The restaurant is overpriced and food is average at best. My main complaint is sadly that the resort is on the side of the hill facing the wind farms outside of Palm Springs. Is was incredibly windy the entire time we were there (May) and not very warm, which is the case all year long (we were told). Book knowing the wind is really strong all day and night across almost all of the grounds. Also, the valet situation is ridiculous, not enough people so you are left waiting for ages, it may seem luxury but for the price I was disappointed. I wouldn’t go again.
Waaaaaay more scenic than you can tell from the website. The array of pools was totally lovely. Food and drinks were yummy. BUT I felt the ball was dropped a couple of times: The check-in area was a labyrinth to find (in fact everything was, but once youre familiar with it all that may actually be nice that things are tucked away, but stressful on first-go), an agent asked if I wanted to pay tip now (or later in cash) for my massage and I said now but then she charged my card for a tip that also included the price of the day pass AND the massage so I was overcharged. Plus, it was freezing after the sun went down so trembling at the edge of the parking lot for the one of two valets wasnt a great way to end... I imagine that you kind of get used to some of these quirks (not the overcharging) and thus come prepared, and in that case it may be perfect for some.
I wanted to honor the passing of my love in a healing place of beauty and nature and so grateful that I landed at this gem in the desert! I cannot thank Twobunchpalms Resort enough for the kindness and caring I received during my stay. I felt like a celebrity! Due to Covid, there were no spa treatments, but honestly, everything at Twobunchpalms is a peaceful relaxing sanctuary set up to rest, relax and forget about the world. I was a little nervous about Covid safe, but I have to say that I was so impressed at the staffs care for the Natural hot springs. The lithium mineral waters ran continually 24 hours a day in the lovely grotto pool and there were private outdoor wooden tubs that you could fill up and unplug when you were done. As a single person, I wanted to enjoy the grounds at night to walk to the healing waters and fire pits. I noticed security was present and kept a respectful distance and I felt safe. The bed and linens-wow, the room layout was for ease and comfort and the gravity free bean bag chair!! Okay I loved it all, including my own patio with a view and chase lounge. My favorite place was the hidden away Palm Grove with large comfy hammocks you could snuggle into and gently rock listening to the palm fronds. WOW. From check in, the caring of the entire staff (from Danny and Cheyse to the fabulous food servers and the meticulous care of the housekeeping and garden staff), I could not have picked a better spot to celebrate my love. Overall it was a perfect choice, nurturing and next time I will surely go back-just to celebrate me!
Stayed two nights at this place the week leading up to Mothers Day. It was peaceful and not very crowded. I took advantage of the daily yoga, qi gong, meditation and self improvement classes.I loved the pond with the ducks and turtles. Rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff is wonderful. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for relaxation and rejuvenation. Its not cheap though.
Went for the day. Am 76 years old with bad knees. There is a long staircase with no railing to get to spa. A friend had to help me. Very embarrassing. Place was dark and shabby. Checking in took so long that I was rushed and did not get full hour for facial nor time to relax after. Was rushed out of room minute she was finished. Lunch was included and only meal available for vegetarian was a veggie burger. The package was $265 for the day. Not worth it.
Took a long weekend here. Loved it. Everyone on the staff - front desk, restaurant and spa were very friendly and accomodating. The room was great! I can see why some people were put off by the mandatory valet. It is a little confusing when we first pulled up as we were last here a few years ago before the changes. Seemed like a fairly minor adjustment to make for us.
My daughter didnt want to stay here after we arrived. She thought it was too peaceful and not enough to do. The manager was so nice in accommodating us, and she decided to try it. We had plenty to do! Tai chi, yoga, juicing, painting and wine tasting! And that was for one day! The food is phenomenal!The mineral spa is gorgeous! The grounds are beautiful! Very unique--close to heaven!
It was a peaceful paradise. With numerous natural pools scattered about a tropical maze; theres always a sense of privacy. The restaurant was incredible (we had salmon & steak.) Usually, resort dining can be lacking.We experienced amazing massages (Doug was incredible with deep tissue and attentive.) The cool thing? Detox in a true mud bath! A unique experience that you should definitely try.
I find myself attempting to book a room at two bunch palms but cannot get myself to do.Some months back we booked a room to be located in the middle of the springs. We took time out of our busy schedule drove two hours to come enjoy a quick day trip. We arrived at two bunch palms at 3pm.Once we were inside the guest receptionist told us that we had been relocated and that we would be in a room all the way at the end of the spa almost isolated.Before walking into the room (which costs $500-$600) we noticed that the door handle was partially broken. Trying to be open minded we walked inside. Once we entered the room we noticed that the room was unkept to standards of COVID protocol. The floors barely swept and stains on the floor.We asked to be moved to another room at which point the guest service human responded with the generic, were not able to due to the fact there are no rooms available. We asked for a complete refund which was initially partially refunded.Two bunch palms is a special place, no doubt. This last experience has put a bad taste in my mouth and I cannot get myself to spend not only my money but time out of my life here when management will not even look out for their returning customers.It took me almost two weeks to get my full refund back and that was after having to call them back multiple times to get the issue fixed.I will most likely not return nor will I recommend this place. 1 star.
The grounds are simply amazing! A new area for sitting and meditating every where you look, under trees, on grassy knolls, by the ponds! We so enjoyed walking the grounds morning noon and night. The grotto pool was the best. We floated in the warm spring water every evening and swam the other pool every morning. Fresh cucumber water set out for guests to enjoy. The peaceful tranquility of this resort is just what is needed in this hustle bustle world we live in. The rooms are dated, but adds to the charm of the place. Will go here again!
In a short vacation getaway, couple hours from LA. Everything about this place is awesome. So many tubs and pools to relax in, very secluded but easy to get to. The customer service is top notch. Many free classes to attend. The quiet is the best part, only the sound of running water all over the property (and occasional ducks).
I love Two Bunch Palms and always have but have never been as in love with it as I have been during COVID. As someone who has worked in hospitality for years I know more than anyone it’s as much about what you do when something goes wrong as it is how you make an experience right from the get go. It’s such a tough time to be running a business and our latest stay happened during some logistical hurtles for the resort as they reacted to statewide shutdowns in real time. The staff handled everything impeccably and was incredibly responsive and accommodating through the midst of everything. I couldn’t recommend this experience more highly in 2020 and beyond.
We stopped here for lunch and check out this place for the next trip to enjoy hot springs. Definitely, we’ll book a room here! Such a beautiful place. Lunch surprised us with delicious salads - kale 🥬 and Asian ones. Paired with a nice rose from South Africa.
Ive been coming here for many years and the experience is always phenomenal. The staff, the grounds, the massages!!! Its truly a classic. A wonderful experience for the mind, body and most of all soul. Each time I leave a treatment, I feel like a newborn baby, swaddled in my robe:)

Sorry guys, you have jumped the shark! We loved coming here, not anymore overpriced badly run, inadequate staffing. The rooms are tight and ugly, no amenities, not even a place to put your suitcase. New valet parking situation is ridiculous, they want to shuttle you and your belongings to the room but dont have enough shuttles to do in a timely fashion, we were standing outside in the rain waiting for a shuttle, then had to put our bags on a wet cart to get to the room. What used to be a nice size king room is a tiny closet at $400. Originally booked 3 nights but left after 1. Wont be back.
Had such a great time here. The classes were exceptional. The people were very friendly and helpful and the accommodations were beyond belief. I will be returning and am looking forward to seeing all the new renovations they have done since my last visit. They were closing for a few weeks right after I stayed there for a planned update to their already beautiful grounds.
Incredible oasis amongst the hills and desert. The staff are friendly, making the stay exceptional and easy. Perfect for an adult getaway or solo retreat.
Fantastic resort, very close to Vons which is really convenient. The front desk staff is very attentive and the property is gorgeous! Theyre currently undergoing renovations but it didnt seem to affect anyone as its not in any of the guest rooms as far as I can see. Gorgeous setting and really quiet atmosphere, Ill definitely be back again!
This is my all time favorite destination spa (and I love spas). I can not say enough about how relaxing it is here or how helpful the staff is or how the restaurant serves delicious food or how the spa treatments are amazing. My only regret is that I dont live closer and have more free time because I would come here every month if I could. They have just finished a remodel on The Grotto (where the natural hot springs flow) and it is spectacular. In addition to the original grotto pool there are not several cement soaking pools and wooden two person (four if your really close friends) soaking tubs that you fill yourself. The restaurant is pricey but the food is excellent. Go for lunch for your best deal. The spa is so relaxing. I have never had a treatment that I didnt like here. Many of the therapists have been with the spa for 10+ years so thats saying something. They are about to build a new spa building so visit the old one while you can. If you want a relaxing day or two away, Two Bunch is the place.We were upgraded to a Casa Blanca one bedroom suite The room photos are of that room.
Downgraded my review to 4 stars. This review is based on three visits. The grounds and baths are as amazing as ever. But, the new “towels” are terrible. Extremely thin and inadequate, especially when just one towel per person. For 500+ a night there should be an unending supply of decent towels. No reliable drink service and very slow bar is problematic and surprising as well. Please fix.
It was so relaxing! The Flora and fauna was exquisite, the food at the restaurant was wonderful and the hot soothing mineral springs rejuvenated me! The staff was very accommodating and service was 10 out of 10! I highly recommend Two Bunch Palms for anyone who needs to de-stress!
Fantastic experience, great customer service and the views were incredible. I relaxed for 2 days in the hot springs and by the cooler pool. My only complaint would be the size of our room, very small but also with lots of character. A TV with VHS brought back memories. The food wasnt the best and a little pricey, but I had a special time overall.

My husband and I booked and overnight stay and we are both disappointed. Im not sure what the hell was biting me but it woke me up.We had no television, no water, no coffee maker, bad directions and a flooded walk way due to the rain fall.
They do not have room service. If you run out of coffee in your room they will send you some more in charge you for the little pods for the coffee maker. The experience started with 0 stars however the place is beautiful in the restaurant was really nice and so was the food. But as this being a first class resort where you can be pampered and treated like royalty and make you should be treated paying these prices? No way I think Ive had and free coffee at Motel 6 before without asking for much
Pretty fantastic place. Comfortable every step of the way. Pleasant people, very enjoyable being surrounded by water and the warmth of the pool with thermal hot springs. Food & beverage experience was also excellent. Will highly recommend this place to anyone interested.
Came to Two Bunch Palms as a day spa guest. Had a massage, attended a few classes, sat in the healing waters. Every single aspect was amazing. The gounds were gorgeous, the staff was friendly and inviting. If you want an incredible place to relax and recharge, it doesnt get much better than this. Cant wait to come stay as an overnight guest.
Be quiet policy.. no kids under 18.... amazing pools n private soak tubs (open 22hours a day) ... great place for ppl who r looking for a relaxing vacation. only problem is they r under construction (re modeling... took one star off) still a great spot. good food n drinks as well.
We were here a few years ago and although the resort is undergoing renovation, it has lost its charm for us.They walked us around the property and it seemed more like directions on what not to do, rather than a tour of available options. Theres flags and taped off trails with no admission signs.They have reduced a good size dressing Room with a full bath in to a closet ...the size of a dept store dressing room.Not a locker room at all.Dont plan on showering or changing or fixing your hair or make up at this place . We had our spa appointments and enjoyed the healing waters which were both enjoyable. BUT ...after purchasing our special day packages, we were forced to turn in our robes or else be charged, and go home.We wont be returning.
Essence inside of two bunch palms was a beautiful restaurant inside the resort. This is a hidden gem inside desert hotsprings. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The only downside to our visit was our waiter forgot twice about two requests we had made. But the great views and pleasant atmosphere made up for it!
Two Bunch Palms was great! The ambiance was peaceful, the massages were amazing and the classes were very enjoyable! The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and the mineral water pool was so relaxing! My fiance and I enjoyed every minute we spent there!
GREAT hot tubs and swimming pools..but too old place..The rooms have damage around.,the plasmas TV very small., the AC is great., many flys in the restaurant all around of the windows glass BUT the employees are very friendly.,5 stars for them., the Spa is too old and Small rooms., Gym : UGLY....,The hot tubs and swimming pools THE BEST, but bring your Own towels because you have to pay for towels.Is Nice place but is Sad because they dont take care very well the place and need a URGENT UPDATE..
Honestly the best non oceanfront hotel experience. More than just a place to stay the entire trip sets a tone and a vibe that is deeply rewarding and peaceful. Would give it 6 stars if so could.
This is the only hotel that my husband & I have EVER booked for three nights and checked after one- and we would have checked out sooner if we hadn’t been told by the front desk that we would have to pay for the first night regardless if we checked out. The place is incredibly poorly designed and offers an inconsistent experience from one area to the next. This “resort” should not be classified as three-stars— that designation sets an unrealistic expectation.The primary grounds are beautiful and the hot springs are unique and relaxing. Some parts of the resort feel modern and updated-While others like the bathrooms by the pools are clearly of an extremely dated era, which feels shabby, not charming. The place rides a fine line between rustic and scuzzy & unkempt — which perhaps is made acceptable by the term “eco-resort”? All I know is that this place ruined the term for me and I will be avoiding eco-resorts going forward.The resort is a hodge-podge of various room clusters- the rooms near the hot springs are conveniently located and have natural sunlight, the room where we were placed is called the “desert rooms” and are wholly removed from the hot springs - about a 6 minute walk or you have to wait for a golf cart to pick you up (we waited 20 minutes)—and feel like a neglected motel from decades past. Our room was dark, dirty (gritty floors) and SMALL. No room for two suitcases and nothing felt comfortable. The darkness was the biggest problem- our entire room only had an overhead light in the entry and in the shower- no overhead light in the bathroom over the vanity! I could not even see my face in the mirror as I attempted to freshen-up before dinner, straining my eyes and producing a headache. Whoever designed the rooms clearly had never spent any time in one, particularly after sun-down (which is quite early in February). Appropriate lighting is necessary and a low-bar for a hotel room! We could not get out of our room fast enough.And I should note that the pool is surrounded by huge trees. We escaped to Palm Springs for the sun as a respite from a gray winter in Seattle- only to find a pool that only captures sun for a sliver of the day. Very disappointing.
What a terrible experience. We called from Joshua tree to stop in for the day and enjoy the pools. The front desk said to stop in, gave us the rate of $125/person for the day and we said we’d be there in 30 min. On the call they said there was room in the pools. We got to the gate, the man was incredible rude and told us we weren’t allowed in. I then called the front desk again and said “ok, were here at the gate and they aren’t letting us in” and the man completely changed his tune saying that they were full and there was nothing he could do about it. I reiterated our conversation and him telling us to come in, with our reservation and info and he just said “I’m sorry”. Extremely disappointing and very bizarre business behavior. I’ve noticed very many other reviews on yelp like this. And I just hope that the owner of these beautiful grounds understands that it doesn’t matter how wonderful the pools/spas are. If service is this terrible, word spreads fast and businesses go under. Best of luck guys, fix your management- it’s disturbingly awful.
Two Bunch Palms is an incredible sanctuary to go and relax! They have so many hot tubs that it is easy to find your own private tub to soak in and forget all your worries.
I visited the spa for the day with my best friend and was shocked by the extremely poor level of service and organisation. Firstly we were told there was a yoga class on and after waiting for 30mins (in our yoga gear in the heat of the sun) we were told it wasn’t on that day due to a retreat. We then asked for a tour of the place and a map but that never materialised so were left to wonder around trying to find things ourselves. Then they messed up the time of my spa treatment (my friend and I were booked to go in at the same time) but they had overbooked by mistake and my appointment wasn’t available. They could only offer a shorter service once my friend was out of her treatment - which defeated the purpose of us going together.The location is beautiful, and the pools seemed clean but the facilities were very shabby and in need of some renovations.I got my money back for my treatment, but was hugely disappointed by the whole experience and would not recommend to anyone who was considering a spa day in Palm Springs.
This spot is really special. I had the best experience. Two hours from San Diego. I plan on returning in a few weeks. I feel relaxed and recharged.
Fairly upscale and historic spa resort. They have one large hot spring pool with several private tubs that can be fed by the hot springs water. The restaurant is expensive but serves excellent food for meat lovers and Vegetarians. A very relaxing and romantic place. Price per night is very fair.
Unfortunately I expect higher quality for what I paid but didnt meet my satisfaction.I was there with group of 5, booked the room but room was ready just for two (two robs two towels two flip flops) so we have to call for everything .the room is fit for two not five 🙁About spa :this was horrible service I have ever had the staff has attitude,didnt give us enough information and gave us wrong service and said this is what it is we charge u anyway 😱The massage I paid was $150 with tip include, it s not worked for me I can get it in Beverly Hills for $30 .also the manager of spa didnt accommodate with us and he is so aggressive .
The grounds alone are worth going for. They are meticulously cared for and a mystical adventure to explore in the evening. The waters of the grotto are divine, and again, the pools are meticulously groomed every day. The water therapies are my favorite and I always experience a healing with each treatment. This is my special gift of self care that I give myself nearly every month.

This place is heaven. The property was like a dream. Great food, cocktails. Spa services were professional. 2 days worth of relaxation is like 2 weeks elsewhere. We will make an annual visit. Hospitality was 10/10
Nice hot spring!!! The room is normal. But you get 24hr hot spring :) (Technically 22hr due to maintenance in the morning)Complimentary valet parking.Won’t disappoint you for sure!The price is crazy lol. But I’d say it was worth it.
WORST DAY SPA EVER.We came here for the day spa. We paid USD265 each for an hour massage, lunch and access to the pools.When we got there, the day spa reception was in a strange, small overcrowded and underground room. A form was shoved under one of our faces and we told to sign it immediately, which we did. We were asked if we had gender preference for our masseuse. My partner and I were fine. My mum said she wanted a woman and was told none were available (so not sure why they bother asking).There was one tiny “change room” under the stairs to facilitate the whole day spa (see photos). It opened directly into the busy reception. It was obviously just a cleared out broom closet. At one point, there were about 7 people waiting to access it. I had to go up to the bathroom at reception to get changed for lunch. Somewhere between the broom closet and the reception bathroom, I dropped my locker key.I was told there was no master key to the lockers and that the facilities manager would have to “break in” to the locker, at a charge of USD35 to me. The time estimate for such a “break in” was “somewhere between 20 minutes and an hour”. I said I was not paying, given they shouldn’t begiving out keys with no master key and the change room situation was untenable - hence I had to get get changed in the reception toilets. While waiting for this “break in” we realized you could open the locker quite effortlessly without the key, so just did that and left. 2 days later - credit card was charged for the key replacement!You aren’t provided slippers despite needing to walk between reception, outside, the massage huts and reception for lunch. When we asked we got one very odd pair of black thongs that looked like they were from lost property. And we were told there weren’t even enough of these for the 3 of us.To top it off, the organic pho at lunch had a clump of undercooked chicken in it.It is difficult to believe this place is owned by the same group as the Hollywood Roosevelt (where everything is on point and gives their guests an incredible experience). It was not luxurious at all and the staff were terrible.
Really nice soaking in the hot pools, but not very peaceful our attractive while under extensive construction. Restaurant was very good with healthy and delicious stuff, but weird miss not to have any sort of granola option at breakfast.
I rated this 5 stars because everything I chose to get involved with provided healing, restoration, and pleasure. The mineral waters are wonderful. Nathan, my masseur, and Brigitte, the yoga instuctor, listened to my needs and catered my experience. Both practitioners gave me homework that has continued the healthy healing once home. Our accommodations were beyond comfortable. Thank you, Two Bunch Palms, for such a wonderful time. We will definitely return.
Gorgeous grounds, many mineral pools to choose from, comfortable, well appointed rooms with amazing showers. Lots of style, great food and drinks at the restaurant. Who could ask for more??? :-)
Just spent 2 nights here with our adult children, stayed in Grove rooms. So peaceful. Clean, quiet, delicious (albeit $$$) food & drinks.
We enjoyed a day spa package, which included access to the pools and classes, lunch at the restaurant with stunning views, then a massage at the spa. Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. Gabriel was amazing! I’d highly recommend the dessert clay treatment.
This place is paradise. My daughter and I enjoyed our time together. Relaxation started in the incredibly heated pools, also we soaked in the natural spring water tubs, we took yoga classes every morning, we had a chance to read-and relax in the hammocks. We took some interesting classes like Qgong, Angel’s card reading and Feng Shui and love. My daughter had a relaxing facial at the spa. The food at the restaurant was organic and delicious. The rooms are well appointed and the grounds are beautiful. Three days was not enough at The Two Bunch Palms. We will definitely come back.
What an unexpected pleasure - we had the winning bid at a charity auction (ALF) for a 2 - night stay and loved every moment of it. My wife and I have been coming to the desert for many years, but had never even heard of Two Bunch Palms. The resort is the one true place in the desert to disconnect without giving up the civilities of daily life and still feeling as though you are in world filled with natural beauty. We are sharing our view with all our friends and look forward to making this an annual trip!
Got a day package for a massage lunch and use of the grounds. The massag was amazing and the grounds and hot springs were beautiful and very relaxing. The only down side was that the staff werent as friend as I would expect. They were not outwardly rude but no one really seemed happy to be there and it added a touch of tension to an otherwise relaxing day.
My wife and I loved our stay. Even when the facility was under construction it still had a magical quality and none of the construction interfered with our experience. The food was also a big surprise. Very good restaurant.
Im here wright now and I just feel like just want to go home.Im paying $600 per night the room smell bad and I have a Brocken tile in my shower right at the entrance (very dangerous) no couch to seat on in my room, $8- for a bottle of water, went to do massage $200 which is OK but the room was not invited not clean not so quit and full of a day light.It supposed to be relaxing for my b. Day and Im soooo..... not relax.First impression the lobby was not clean.Will never go again will recommend yo all not to go and will put an add on Facebook with pictures with it.
I just returned home from 2.5 days there with my sisters and mom. It was wonderful in all aspects. The energy in this place is amazing and there was not one staff person that wasnt friendly and helpful. The grotto was delightful looking up at the beautiful frame work of palms and tamarisk with the gentle breeze rustling the leaves. A little slice of heaven.I did not have any spa services while I was there so I cant comment but the classes that were offered were wonderful. I have to address specifically the Tai Chi/Qigong instructor Michael Hamilton and the juicing classes by Susanne. Both were a wealth of knowledge and I smile every time I think of Michael instructing us to move with a gentle smile. We will be back and I certainly hope to attend more classes by both those instructors. Pamela Crane also conducted a wonderful water yoga class and a natural home workshop. And Donna Sacks provided us with a personal tarot card reading. We loved them all and each instructor was gracious and gave us their full attention. You can tell that they enjoy working on this property and for the management. It shows.The only negative may be the service in the restaurant is slow and the portions are extremely small for the price. Other recommendations would be to add a little more seating in the gorgeous, spacious bedrooms (Queen Soltice Room) so that it is possible to enjoy your room for more than sleeping. Grounds need more attention the further away you venture from the grotto at the heart of the property. Perhaps it would have been nice to have had a personal tour of the facilities being a first time guest. Not that you cant discover it on your own, but when your stay is relatively short it would be nice to have more clarity there. We were also there while they were undergoing some renovations so the yoga dome was closed and the space they used for yoga was small and located adjacent to a walkway so it was a little distracting at times. Little things like coordinating the irrigation system so that it did not come on during the tai chi class on the outdoor lawn are some of the touches that need a little refinement. Overall I still give it 5 stars because it was a lovely experience and I feel blessed that we stumbled upon it. I am already planning my return trip for spring. Updated the rating for the effort she put in and hopefully well be back soon to get the proper TBP experience. 😄Original review:Maybe we just went at the wrong time but the construction and the fact the hotel was going through a soft opening hurt our experience. If they had given us ample notice and informed us the property was still considered closed, we might booked a different resort, or may have even powered through being test guests, and wouldve been more prepared for the 11:30pm power sanding going on in the next building. But no. Lack of communication on the part of management and lack of physical communication (no schedules of classes available until multiple requests and the phones in the room didnt work until the second day) gave us a meh experience on the property. We did want to love the place, and the staff and food were great, but going forward, make sure you ask if the property is open or soft open.
This was my second visit and it gets better each time. I like the rooms close to the grotto but YMMV. A nice walk around the gourds after breakfast is a nice start to a day here.The grotto pool is, of course, the main attraction - especially in the evening when the sun has retired for the day.Be advised that Desert Hot Springs is basically a dead zone for AT&T. TBP wifi will compensate when youre on the property but elsewhere you are out of luck.
This place presents a facade of luxury, but doesn’t quite deliver for the price they charge.Upon entering, we were told that the only option for parking our car was to valet. When we left the resort, our car was delivered to us with a spilled coffee cup upside down on the passenger seat and a dent on the seat.When we asked the front desk for assistance, they pointed us to the valet (which is a sub contracted, independent company). Again, there is no self park option and the cost of the valet is billed as part of your regular hotel bill.The hotel front desk was completely uninterested in helping to resolve the situation and despite multiple requests, never put us in touch with the manager.They hotel made no effort to rectify the situation, which at a place that charges as much as they do, is unacceptable.
Good resort with many wild animals.Hot springs are not so hot, and the pools are all very small including the main one.The restaurant in the resort has a nice atmosphere with live music, but food takes longer than normal time to get prepared and taste average but with $$$
Room was very basic and small, no complimentary water or coffee. For the price paid ($500/night) expected way more. Property has just a few thermal bath tabs, so it was very hard to get in as was always occupied.
The best it has been in quite some time. Did away with boot camp parking! Feels like summer camp through an through...even the camp counselor were gone so we ate delicious food efficiently presented and played like the grown ups were gone...YAY..:-)
What a disappointment. After a very long drive (14 hours), we called to have some wine delivered to our room, the so called concierge needs schooling and was put out by our request. After two phone calls, because she was not familiar with menu, she found only one bottle of wine available. She also never mentioned that they discontinued all room service when the new owners took over about two years ago. When we arrived just after 9:30 PM once in our room, we tried to order room service and only then were told then they could no longer offer it. We would have to come and get the food, so I tried to order a simple hamburger and was told after asking the cook it could not be made because it was a lunch only item. You know for sure they have all the ingredients because they were serving lunch the next day. They offer to make a $40 steak dinner but not a $15.00 hamburger.We also noticed this ridiculous Quiet policy including a paddle if you spoke to loud. This policy was put into effect to hide paper thin walls at these grossly overpriced rooms ($440 per night). You could hear toilet noises from the rooms on both sides and people whispering. Wow they have Dial up internet not worth connecting too, motel 6 type amenities, no room service, and $600 fine if you smoke. There is also an extremely long list of other rules not listed on the website. Had they been listed I dont think anyone would check in. The problem stems from new owners who have taken a once beautiful resort and turned it into a FEMA camp.The old wonderful staff has been attending to their guests every need for over 20 years or more confided that there hours had been cut from 5 days a week to 2 days. Reason is that long time guests have discovered that Two Bunch Palms went from 5 stars to 0 and are leaving in droves. After speaking with the new owner Peter Brauer he acted surprised and said they someday they were going to offer room service again. He acknowledged that service had declined and would speak with so called concierge. He offered to give us a free next stay. I asked why, would I ever come back? He had no good answer. I refused his offer and checked out. We found another resort with full service nearby. I mean this is our vacation and we were looking forward to some pampering and Two Bunch ruined the first two days.If you want to get ripped off visit this place, but for less money and real accommodations there are many wonderful resorts still catering to guests needs nearby.
Website made this place look amazing. Grounds...the grass and flowers were pretty. Restaurant is run down and smells like mold. Food...pesto was like pasta in pesto soup. Bathrooms on property were carpeted and moldy and dirty. Overpriced place and run down place. Its unfortunate as it has a lot of potential.

They dont have any food at all until 6pm. Only chips. They dont make breakfast as a virus, but every hotel around does. you must bring food with you. mineral bathrooms are always busy and you have to fight for them, there is not enough space. the air conditioning in the rooms does not work, it is terribly hot.
Definitely one of the best resorts here. Nice pools, nice food, and comfortable rooms. I recommend suites with private jacuzzis.
The experience alone is a five star. Yet, I was truly bummed with the vege burger, truffle fries and desert. Definitely below par. I think the burger is a store brand. Enhance your reputation and hire a chef that enjoys his/her work to contribute to your infamous name.
TBP balances serenity and luxury with flawless execution - five stars all around from accommodations to service to food and beverage to the unparalleled landscaping - I could go on and on; go with a partner or friends or go solo - lots of travelers alone taking in the calmness and beauty with no disruption from children! (one of the best parts of TBP in my opinion!)
We had a couple of issues with our room (fire alarm battery died and woke us up early on Saturday, one of the door keys didnt work, the refrigerator wasnt very cold). We reported each issue. When we checked out, the resort waived our daily feed for the inconvenience. Beautiful location and grounds.
Be Careful!!, the hotel will recharge you again and again. I booked though Expedia 12/06/2017, I paid in full. I came to the hotel check in at 12/09/2017 and check out at 12/10/2017. When I check out, I was notified I need to pay $57.50 for additional resort charges. I paid by credit card. On 2/22/2018, the hotel charged me $57 again, I called to credit card company to dispute and they did refund to me. On 04/16/2018 they recharged me $57, then refund me again. On 05/27/2018, they third time recharged me $57 because they said they did an audit and found I did not pay $57. Liar! First, I paid all booking fess though Expedia, second I paid ADDITIONAL RESORT FEES when I was check out. All potential customers, you may see other reviews from some travel website, the hotel always charged customers when they left! Terrible hotel ever!!!

I wish I could attach the noise clip I took with my iPhone. The air conditioner in the room next door is on the same wall as the bed in my room.I called the front desk and a technician was sent to my room. The technician acknowledged the loud sound and there was indeed a problem with the air conditioner in the other room but could not fix it till both my room and that one were empty.The only option I was given was to be moved to a room at the end of the complex. Far from the amenities I paid $360 something for one night for. The distance would not allow me to enjoy the amenities because I have Crohn’s disease and need to be near a bathroom.This was suppose to be a special day for myself. I just wanted to read my book, watch some tv, enjoy the hot springs and enjoy some good food ($53 for dinner with tip).I am a woman staying alone. I thought I could stick it out but I now have a headache. I guess I will have to move to the edge of the property.Live and learn.
Peaceful. The staff bends over backwards to be sure you get what you need. The best place I’ve found in 30 years to rest and recharge.
Relaxing and beautiful resort with wonderful hot springs
To be noted, this is an adult only hotel. We booked this hotel for a family retreat, and before the trip, I carefully reviewed the hotel and booked it. However, when we arrived, it said kids are not allowed. I actually was aware that the area having several adult only hotel, and checked on both their website, tripadvisor, and yelp. I didnt find 18+ only until I was refused upon check-in, and find one sentence when you click a very tiny bullet at the bottom of their website. This is really annoying, and they refuse to give any refund or credits back. I think they should at least have this policy stated clearly on the website or on the third-party site other than having to click on the tiny bullet at the bottom of the website!
This place is such a gem. Its an old hollywood hangout. Mineral hot springs, fun activities like yoga, spa treatments, painting with wine, walks around the pond with ducks and turtles, tennis, and do it all wearing your robe. (Maybe not the tennis). I recommend checking this place out. We always have a good time and always leave relaxed. Thank me later!
Two Bunch Palms is a very special place! If heaven is a place on earth this could be it! Well, thats a bit much but Two Bunch Palms is a blissful oasis for those looking to step off the mad merry-go-round of this hectic world to emerge in the sublime, healing fountains of quiet tranquility. The first class accommodations, food & spa services are the tantalizing icing of this glorious treat!

The place looks old everything over priced service terrible had lunch in their in the restaurant ordered Turkey sandwich got a delicious bacon sandwich questioned it with waitress she said since I ate it I couldnt prove it didnt have Turkey on it? I told her after spending $100.00 for lunch for two, dont worry about it.I would not recommend this place for anything and do not plan on ever returning

Great open bath area and private bath. The hot springs were great and the staff was fantastic. We took in a few classes as well that were educational to continue the relaxed life at home.
The renovations are beautiful. This is our new favorite escape. Yoga, hikes, meditation, hot springs, healthy food... Its all there. Cant wait to go back

Nice place to relax. Rooms were basic, but who wants to spend time in rooms when you can enjoy the hot pools. Small Fridge in room. No microwave or coffee maker

Had a great stay at Two Bunch Palms in the Capone Junior just ahead of their spa opening! It was very hot in the summer but I will definitely be back for a winter stay in the desert
Magical Hideaway. Great mineral baths. Art and music therapy. Labyrinth. Private tubs. Stay for a few days or get a daypass. I wish I had known about it sooner. It is my new fave spa!

The food was better than expected the grounds were absolutely beautiful and we cant wait to come back. We have been to a lot of beautiful spas and resorts and this definitely tops it

You basically live in the robes they provide and thrive. I absolutely will be back here. Favorite hotel/experience I’ve ever had.

Dress code is bathrobe and slippers.Amazing quite grotto surrounded by palms, great massages and facial services. Food is clean and lots of veggie options.Only one thing annoyed me. Why is there only a complimentary coffee, hot water and No tea..?Otherwise, cant wait to come back

The classes are next level amazing. The service is amazing. The mineral pools are open 24/7 and simply magical. Such a great experience and loved every minute!

2023-09-28 21:35:43We came here for a birthday in August and had a fabulous time! The manager, Jose, was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and genuinely kind! He made our experience very special and we look forward to seeing him whenever we return! Definitely 5 stars for Jose! The only complaint I had was being overcharged for the nuts that were in our room (the menu said they were $14, but they put $18 on the bill). This was not the biggest deal but still was disappointing when the menu says one thing but you are charged more for no reason. The restaurant is also very overpriced so that was a lesson learned. Overall, we had a very nice and relaxing weekend celebrating my girlfriends birthday! Thank you again, Jose! :)

Customer service was excellent as well, which can be hard to find these days. This place is the epitome of relaxation and wellness. I highly recommend a visit!

2023-08-27 16:53:14Great place for a relaxing time. The drinks were espectacular, and the service was superb. You can book a message as well with plenty of options to choose from. You do not have to stay at the hotel to be able to book a massage. They offer transportation from the parking area to the pool/massage/bar and restaurant and back. Great atmosphere and excellent staff. Definitely recommend!

Every staff we came into contact with either remembered us enough to continue a conversation from prior or remembered us by name. It is something that is not seen as frequently in hospitality these days.The pools on site are immaculately cared for daily - we noticed that when walking around. The activities they have booked even during the off season were surprisingly fun and enjoyable. They have a pond on property with ducks and turtles. They had some charis sitting next to it so you can just relax and watch the wildlife or read.Speaking of wildlife, the grounds are obviously cared for but wildlife is abundant and free to roam. A short list of what we saw was roadrunners (you will see these), lizards, rabbits, and owls.Starting off, every item we had at the restaurant was delicious. I was hesitant that I did not recognize some of the ingredients but in my opinion, trust them. The chef has a gift and true passion. He was humble enough to come out and talk to guests while we were there. The bar that serves non alcoholic drinks was delicious. Every drink was so unique.Twine, their coffee house, was so quaint and pleasant. The little grab and go things such as the overnight oats were amazing.The treatments were incredible. I received massages from Brenda and Coreye - wow. Worth every dollar. Oh, they come with a free drink from the bar too!Luis in engineering came by promptly and fixed an issue with our shower, he was polite and quick. The shower worked perfectly after. Aside from that, the room had no issues during our stay.Chryse and her team (Penne, Sydney, Jose, and others who I have forgotten their names) were spectacular and as helpful as they could be without driving us around town themselves.After traveling and spending as much time with hotels and hospitality that I have, this resort has established an incredible team and location.Staying at Two Bunch Palms for a few days is an worthwhile experience and nothing short of refreshing for the body and mind.
