This place is cozy and cool and the food is freaking fantastic. Its a cross between Caribbean, African and Asian flavors. It offers vegan dishes. The menu is not huge, but to me thats a good thing. I will be dining there soon.
A new Inglewood staple for fine dining, Two Hommès has crafted a new experience for familiar dishes with an elite twist.For an appetizer, I started with the passion fruit ceviche with freshly fried tostadas & Honey Chicken Berbere Bites. The chicken was super crunchy & good.The Short Rib dinner was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Tender beef with the jus along the outer rim that compliments the whipped yam very well. Whipped yam was out of this world delicious.

We all had the garlic lamb chops and noodles. The food was delicious with a different twist on the flavor. The service was great and the two gentlemen that own the business came out to greet us. We told them we told saw them on LAunscripted.We will be back. Willie Mae, Beverly and Bernadette!
The food was fire!! The dishes were beautiful and so incredibly delicious, and love the casual atmosphere of the place. The short ribs were so insanely good and the fish tostada was on point. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes.
You probably wont find better food anywhere! The quality and presentation was bar none. They more help in the front of the house being there was only one waitress and the wait time was long. Regarding atmosphere, the windows were dirty which gave an overall feeling of low class, low quality food. That could be further from the truth. Everything was 5 star, from the lone waitress to the amazing food. If you dont eat here, you will be truly missing out.CLEAN YOUR WINDOWS PLS!
Wow! We called the establishment because we couldn’t reserve a large party online. The young lady told us that the kitchen closes at 2:30, so just make sure we’re there before that time. We told her that we were literally already driving and in en route. We arrived at the restaurant at 2:15pm. We walked in and host told us that kitchen is now closed. We informed the host that we came in from Houston Texas and just spoke with someone, she told us as long as we were there by 2:30pm. The ending result of this is that we’re still hungry & wanted to faithfully bless a black owned business. Sadly, we’re going to have to support a more larger establishment, just to make sure we’re not let down.
Came here for dinner this weekend. I loved all the food taste-wise. We got the Honey Berbere Chicken ($15), Braised Short Ribs on Garlic Noodles ($20 +$22 for short ribs), and Catfish over Garlic Noodles ($20 + $8 for catfish). The standout was the honey berbere chicken. The spices were amazing!However, I dont think the price of these dishes make sense in the setting. To me, the price of a dish is made up of the quality of the food and the experience you have in the restaurant setting. Basically, you order either garlic noodles or jollof rice and that doesnt come with a protein. You then have to choose a protein to go on top of either. In my case, we chose the catfish ($8) and braised short ribs ($20). I think $20 is too much for garlic noodles especially in the restaurant environment. The vibe of the place is like a fast casual sit down where you grab a beer and some food. If I were to pay $20 for garlic noodles, I would expect something more trendy and upscale. Additionally, the garlic noodles also didnt seem to sit right in my stomach that night :( To compare, I recently went to a ramen place called Tonchin LA. The vibe is a lot more upscale and trendy. You can get a bowl of ramen with everything for $20. While here, getting the garlic noodles and a protein costs you at least $25.
Great dinner atmosphere. I love the vision and creative team behind this restaurant. The food courses are an experience, the staff were attentive and gracious. We tried as many things off the menu and it came out hot and huge portions we still need to go back and try the rest of the chef’s menu. Book a table in advance.

The absolute best fish taco Ive ever had. And Ive had more than a few in different geographies. The two hommés are FOR ABSOLUTE REAL. I am pretty particular in almost everything in life and this was FLAWLESS. If you have any doubts after reading this, look at my other reviews and youll see they are not like this. I seriously wished I lived nearby!! If you eat anything along these lines, and choose not to go, I feel for you. One of the Hommés even hooked me up. I asked how much to fill my 40oz water bottle with raspberry lemonade (delicious, btw) and he did! I mean I paid some but it was not remotely event prices or anything.
Wow, delicious feel good food. a little rich/heavy but worth the splurge, it packs so much flavor. already returned twice with others since discovering a few weeks ago. staff is also great and make you feel at homethank you! we will be back again soon
One of the best meals Ive had in my life. The zucchini zaatar was divine, the mashed potato from the slow cooked ribs was the best Id ever had, and the service was incredible. Highly highly recommend this place!

Met these 2 dudes at another function earlier in the year. I promised I would come by. I was blown away by the service, the décor, The music that set the right ambience for dinner with my date. The lamb chops and garlic noodles were amazing. The short rib and whipped sweet potato was also amazing. This place deserves 5 plus stars. And its black owned! Glad that I could be a part of this experience.
A gem - comfort food anyone will love, with Ethiopian, Ghanaian and local neighborhood influences. We had the honey berbere chicken bites and garlic fries - delicately flavored and tender. Then we had the lamb and jollof rice and salmon and noodles. The sauce was perfect with the lamb, the rice delicious, and the salmon had a perfect glaze. This is some great food at a welcoming, unasuming location. You have to try it, youll be back
This food is amazing! I had the jollof plate with lamb chops. the lamb chops didnt miss. no pics as that plate had no chance! this place is an absolute must. Im so glad this place is in the community.
Hands down THE BEST food I have had since moving from Texas to California 4 years ago!!! I had been seeing this place on Instagram and I have been trying to get in to try the amazing food I was seeing and it DID NOT disappoint!!! The owners were there and very hands on and treated me and my friend like family!!! I’m definitely coming back because I need to try EVERYTHING!!! Kudos on a job well done and I can’t wait to see you have to open a bigger location because the demand is so high. Continued blessings!!!! Great to see this place in the neighborhood!You can tell the chefs really care about every dish they put out. Was a little frustrating that with their small menu - half the things we tried to order was out of stock. With that said, I’d be happy to go back and hopefully be able to choose what I’d like to order.

2023-08-14 01:51:28Stumbled here last night for dinner. We were NOT disappointed. The food was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The staff was exceptional, but Tony went above and beyond. His attentiveness and thoughtfulness made the dining experience truly memorable. He even gave me the opportunity to sample the lemonade in case it didnt suit my taste. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Two Hommes for their delectable cuisine and outstanding service.

2023-08-01 19:58:09We stumbled upon Two Hommés from Yelp. We were able to make a reservation within 30 minutes of us wanting to go! We were greeted by the wonderful, Nita. She was so friendly and was patient with us as we asked questions about the menu. She intrigued us with the homemade watermelon lemonade. It was amazing!We ordered appetizers, a main meal, and because both were so good, we tried the dessert, too!For the appetizer we tried the Honey Berbere Chicken Bites. Those were amazing on their own, but when you dip them in the citrus aioli, get ready to take your tongue to another planet! It blew our minds how those flavors mixed so well. I’ve never tasted anything like it. Wow!Next up, the main course meals. I tied the garlic noodle with the fried catfish. Wow wow wow! I’ve never had anything so delicious!! My friends ordered the Jollof platter with fried catfish, and also the mahi mahi tostados. NOTHING disappointed! If I knew how Heaven tasted, I bet this would come real close!Then for dessert, we tried the liquid peach cheesecake. Right?! Read that again… it’s something to experience.I’m so grateful for experiencing Two Hommés. Glad I did.The vibe of the place was great and the layout of seating was great for the space. Good rythmic music playing and a TV mounted in each corner with the Nuggets/Lalers game 4, volume off - what better setting?We ordered chicken bites, zatre squash, garlic fries, mahi mahi tostada and an arugula salad from the shareable menu, and the garlic noodles with lamb chops from the entre menu.Hard to explain the style of cooking because Im not that smart - an African fusion from what I can tell. The flavors in each dish were remarkable - seriously like nothing Ive had before and each dish was amazing. Have to say the must-try is the chicken bites, the garlic fries and the garlic noodles dish. You can select from several proteins that top the garlic noodles - the lamb chops were outstanding.The house made lemonade was very good as well and our server Nita (hope I heard her correctly!) was great and with the most beautiful smile.Seriously cant wait until my next trip back to SoCal so I can visit this place again.

What we experienced was nothing short of amazing 🤩 We ordered the Jollof Platter w/Catfish and House Salad w/Salmon. Yum Yum Yum. We were dazzled by the the delicious and delectable flavors and undeniable amazing service.We were treated to the freshly made passion fruit watermelon lemonade. INCREDIBLE!!! The food was prepared quickly and the presentation exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous and priced well.We can’t wait to come back for brunch.

I had a lamb chop with noodles, and zuccini as a starter. Portion is quite large. Noodles were tasty but a bit heavy My buddy had short ribs which was amazing. Appetizer is about $8-12. Zuccini was really good - not fried like you may expect. I will be coming back here to try other dishes. The price of the meal did not match the decor - which seems more fast-food. The food and presentation (& good wait service) deserves better setting.

2023-01-27 03:24:15My entire first experience at Two Hommés was 12/10 amazing. Upon arrival, the server/hostess warmly greets her customers and makes them feel right at home. The complimentary homemade bread with garlic and honey whipped butter is the perfect foreshadow for the menu. The root beer braised short ribs with homemade whipped yams, micro-cilantro, zucchini, and authentic spices and sauces all add up to equal some of the best food this foodie has ever had. WELL DONE.

The garlic noodle shrimp were the perfect size, cooked perfectly and the noodles were awesome. I gotta come back asap and try more of the menu!

You will not be disappointed at all. This is not a place you can go everyday, if I could afford it every day I would without a doubt. Go see for yourself. You will be ranting and raving about this place to all your friends. I order the Jollof plate with lamb chops, the chicken bites with fries. The best!!!!
