This place is great I really loved the service. And for little Ole me it was just to much. I started with half portions.All you can eat hibachi style. I had the teriyaki chicken, jalapeño chicken, beef brisket and spicy beef ( not my favorite to cook so I gave up). Cheese corn, steamed rice and salad.Over all good experience and for all you can eat, not bad. Lunch was $24.Rancho Cucamonga is always fun. Oh no to go boxes, you cant take what you dont eat home.

This place is awesome. I didn’t look or search for it, it’s a big coincidence. But am super glad I went in there. A bit intimidating at first. But once they brought the meats, I felt like a bbq king, even thou am far from it. lol. Very unique, excellent service, very good environment, the food, delicious.

Wanted to try something new with the husband and enjoyed ourselves. There was a pesty fly that kept flying around the bar, which made me realize it must of touched our veggie trays of food that were on the table before we sat down. Little unsettling but didnt let it ruin the day. Just waved it away and avoided eating the trays unless we requested new ones. Our host was very helpful in letting us know how it works. Just know you will be very full because its all you can eat! So just endless cooking any meats they offer. We mainly got the teriyaki beef, hot chicken and teriyaki pork that seemed to have the most flavor. A bit pricey but you can eat all you like. Music was a bit loud made it difficult to talk and hear my husband who was sitting right next to me.

Initially when I got there, it was a 2 hour wait which was expected as it was it busy Saturday around 7:30pm. So, be prepared for wait times on the weekends (just in case). Our server, Thea, was really nice and she was on top of everything.I gave the restaurant three stars because the food was mehhh. I was mostly upset about the 잡체 (japchae), which wasn’t fully cooked. The noodles were hard and extremely oily. Of course, it’s a kbbq place, so I know that the best japchae can be found at local mom-and-pop shops. The other problem was the gochujang, which had more of a water texture and tasted/looked more like siracha. As far as getting the best quality banchan, I would argue there’s better quality at other kkbq places, but if you don’t care about it and are in it for the meat, then this place is just right.

Went here with my family for my first time and it was great. Not too crowded and the interior was nice, some neon lights and tvs everywhere consisting of music videos playing. It was a typical AYCE menu and the meats and sides were great. Service was good and I would definitely go again because I love how clean it was and the vibe was just nice.

One of my favorite places! Since they opened they have always had quality services even tho its always jammed packed! I love bringing friends and family here if they havent tried it gives us an excuse to go! For us its always worth the wait especially for the corn cheese!

This place is a vibe 🔥🔥 the food is delicious!! Our sever Samuel was very nice & consistent at making sure we needed anything or more food. My favorite meat was the Premium marinated steak with pineapple oh my… and the filet mignon & the beef belly! Also the ice cream was so good! I got the coffee flavor but forgot a picture. The wait is WORTH it, will come again.

Decent quality of meats and sides, but service was very poor. Since we entered the restaurant we didn’t encounter anyone smiling. Plates and glasses were chipped and the server did not check on us. We had to ask for the same side of rice three times before we finally got it. Even the burning grill took forever to be changed. And all of this happened during a slow week lunch.

The service is alright at best. We were there for only an hour because we never had our grill swapped. We left early because our waitress continued to only help the table behind us. She asked if we needed anything once we asked for the check. We did not finish our food because the flame was low because the grill needed to be swapped.

Glad that UGrill took over this spot! Comfortably nestled off Hellman and Foothill located in the Chuck E Cheese plaza.The whole place has been revamped and refurbished throughout the inside of the restaurant. Management did a fantastic job of cleaning up the place and making it very UGrill design!My family and I have always enjoyed UGrill over Gen the quality and service always win us over! Now the ambiance has also stepped up its game! They have lots of TVs all around a nice Bar area. The music is very KPop.The quality of meat is great! This was my second time at this place in 2 years. The first time was okay, but I didnt write a review. This time the place was PACKED, and the wait was about an hour. Nevertheless the first time I came out was fairly quiet in there. This time the music was loud, the crowd mostly young, and you could hear everyone talking very loudly. Needles to say, at my age when I go out to eat, I dont want to hear loud voices or loud music around me. I like it nice and quiet. But for those who are into that, then this is the place to go to. The food was good, the service was okay, and the prices so so. I probably wont be back, but only because of the atmosphere. Otherwise this Korean BBQ is okay.

I went to Korea for a year in my early 20s. This place gave a pretty close to authentic taste and thats all I could ask for. Some good old pork belly, garlic, and bean paste. The place was packed and the staff was quit busy so keeping that in mind, I think they did the best they could. The flavor was great and my Korean BBQ craving was fulfilled. We went with out a reservation around 11am on a Sunday and were seated about 25 minutes later. Overall great experience and a much enjoyed lunch.

Honestly the best KBBQ in town, the food is excellent and so is the service. Even during the busy hours the staff is attentive and on top of it. They are seldom out of food items and your order comes out quickly and accurately. The music inside is very loud, which I personally enjoy because it creates a sense of privacy between you and your neighboring tables, but some people may find that offputting. Highly Reccomend.

Honestly the meat at this place is horrible and the prices are ridiculous. The servers are ok had to asked for my meat paste more than 4 times and at the end of the night still never got it. When they brought my cheese corn out it was burnt all you can taste is charred. Also kimchi taste bitter if you know what good kimchi tastes like you will not like the kimchi here also the color to most of their meat was very off. Pork belly came out looking milky white. 🤢 I will never come here again. I truly appreciate RED CASTLE KOREAN BBQ

Overall, the food here was good compared to the many Korean BBQ restaurants Ive visited in northern Virginia. My family of six people visited this place and had to wait over an hour for a table. They do not offer table reservation options if its less than 24 hour notice. We knew the waiting time was quite long, but we visited the place to determine why all the hype. The food was delivered well, but it was difficult to get our waitress attention because the place was so loud. You need to use a megaphone to talk to your waitress! Even after we requested that the music get lowered, it did not happen. They tried really hard to set the mood like a night club and appeal to a younger crowd. But, it was way too dark inside and again, too loud. It was not worth the wait and will visit another Korean BBQ establishment in my next visit to the Fontana/Rancho Cucamonga area.

This place is always a favorite just be prepared for a wait! there’s two different “menus” side a and side b so that’ll determine what kind of meats you can get so it can be pricy but it’s always worth the price in my opinion. you will have to cook your own meats so if that’s not something you prefer to do, i don’t recommend it, but if you love a great experience definitely come with a partner or a group of friends!

You could only get 4 different types of meat at a time and for the sides, there is only a minimum of 5 amount of sides that you get the cucumber and kimchi were not good. I have had a great experience each time coming here! Came around 2 pm and the wait was about 30 minutes. The wait times around 6 and later are way longer, up to 2 hrs. Service was exceptional from the host to our server. Our server checked in often and made sure we were enjoying our time. The food was delicious and for the price it was, all worth it! It was $25 for all you can eat and you can choose up to 4 Meats. There are other sides you can get like a cheesy corn side dish that is amazing! I also want to mention how spacious the booth was, enough space for 4-6 people. Ill be coming back and definitely recommend!

Meat is average, a lot of meat is cut very thin, and it burns on the baking tray and sticks to the iron plate. If you order food alone, you will throw it away, but it is a cafeteria. After the egg custard is served, it is found that the bottom is also burnt. The environment is very good and the service is very good.

Food and service is good. We were seated at the higher bar height seating with stools and it was a challenge for short people like myself and definitely my mother in law to get on-off the stools. We also had a party of ten and only having two grills available to 10 people was not enough. Dont wear anything too nice as your clothes definitely smells like food when you leave.

I love this place. I always get the corn cheese and japchae with my meals. The meats are a good selection and high quality. Dont forget to try the marinated pork chop and the beef belly. Service is great. The Ranchos/Fontana location is always packed. The Chino location is usually less busy. Both places have great service.

Absolutely delicious meats in big portions and great banchan and cooked side dishes to order! Definitely would recommend to come in larger groups to maximize the variety you can order. My friend and I came and we barely finished 3 plates of meat before we had to tap out. I would give this place 5 stars if only they had parilla leaves or lettuce to make wraps! Price is very reasonable and I like the fact that they limit how much you can order at once so it limits waste. They also dont give much of each banchan in the beginning, but you can ask for more when you run out. In case you dont eat all the banchan, this is a smart way to limit wasting food. Highly recommend!

This was my first time here at U Grill. The 19.99 eat all you can option was the one we tried. They also have the 24.99 that has more selections. Given that, the 19.99 seems comparable to Gen Korean, in my opinion. We grilled around five plates of different meats. We got pork belly, shrimps, pork intestine - large and small, beef, and chicken. The service was great at that time. He was attentive and making sure we have enough condiments and kimchis on our table. I recommend this place based on my experience at that time.

Be ready for an adventure. We all liked it and the food was all very good but much if it was pretty strange stuff. Cow Intestines, cow tongue and the like. You grill it yourself and a few of us were a bit queasy with the chicken and pork; you dont exactly get a meat thermometer so its not super obvious when the meat is fully cooked. Most of the meat is very fatty, some of the meat was over 50% fat

It is as good as they say eventhough half of the menu we couldnt order cos we dont eat pork. It is not buffet style but unlimited orders for whatever set u choose. Good quality beef. We prefer the rolled & sliced beef but the belly is too fatty for us. The marinated beef is tasty but the cutting is irregular sizes & thickness & not cut well so most of it strung together so the smaller & thinner pieces were over cooked when we need to cook the thicker pieces well. It takes some skill here. I like eat the meats with different sauces but they only have spicy teriyaki & I lettuce wraps but they didnt have so I kept ordering salad which came with some kinda italian dressing cut in smaller pieces. You can make do. Cheesy corn is a must try. Side dishes is edible mediocre & lack variety. The place was almost full, a 10-min wait at 5pm on a Wed. All the servers were bz but our server was quite attentive & checked on us every now & then. Overall was a delicious meal.

Service was horrible..thankfully we cook the food ourselves. Server dropped all the juice from the meat on my lap and told me they dont have any sanitizer wipes. I said this is a kitchen you dont have anything to sanitize the table. He brought a dirty rag and wiped the table. Went about 15 minutes without any food after ordering another round of meat. Had to get up to ask for a refill on soda. Was about 12 lunch time on a Friday. Wasnt that busy. Other than that the quality of meat was great for the price. Id probably try another location before coming back. The stuck up locations are usually the worst.

Its evening and they have 20 minutes wait when they have available tables. They must not staff properly on certain nights.Food: food is delicious but take a while to cook because of slow burners. The burners go out if you put too much food at a time. Unlike other places I have been where you can cook food as fast as you want without killing the fire. Thick cut meats take a long time to cook. For 5 people in a table it will take a while to get enough food.The small app dishes are only good for 1 person so best to let the server right away to give you bigger app portions.Service is fine but staff is generally not attentive. Asking for meat refills is slow so it may not be the best place to eat if you are in a hurry or do not have too much time.

I love this place. This is the spot I try to take friends and family when I offer Korean BBQ as my suggestion. The atmosphere is awesome. Great R&B/hip hop music. Endless food. Great treating garnishments. I recommend the brisket and bulgolgi. Also, I recommend the macaroons. The texture, coldness, and flavors are good experience.

My family and I have been coming to u-Grill for years now and we all consider it to be one of the best KBBQs in the Inland Empire. There’a a massive variety of meats and small plates. Although the small plates and side dishes aren’t the most authentic, they’re damn good. If it wasn’t AYCE I would honestly come here just for their steamed egg & soy bean stew. But since it is AYCE kbbq of course we always order a ton of meat.Most of the other kbbqs in the IE have really dry brisket, which is the meat you should start with. But the brisket here is the perfect mixture of meat and fat that doesn’t leave you looking for water to chug after the first bite. One of my top two things to order from their meats is definitely their beef belly. I will say that this time around it wasnt as good as it used to be, but how can you complain about beef bacon, right? Their menu has two options, you can get the regular or the premium menu. If you don’t get the premium, you’ll be missing out on beef tongue, mussels, galbi, pork jowl, their insanely massive, tender, and juicy premium steak, and so much more. It’s only an $8 difference between the two menus and honestly you could get your money’s worth with just half of the premium steak. The premium steak is the only meat portion picture I took because I didn’t plan on writing a review, but I’ll definitely follow up with a check-in in the future!I definitely wish their side dishes were better but we’re really there for the meat anyways. Definitely keep in mind that the wait can be anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours but however long you wait, it’ll be worth it. Especially if you’re being served by Noah. He had to take on almost two times the amount of tables that he usually serves and he was still on it. He also was kind enough to stop and have a short conversation with us when the crowds started to die down. So glad that u-grill is always consistent with their food quality, quantity, and taste. And even more grateful that we had a great experience thanks to Noah!

These 2 plates are supposed to be the same cut of brisket, so they say. Obviously they are completely different. I have a family of 5 and I can’t get 1 order of the good cut for each of us and we are paying the same as the other tables of 2 that all get the good cut the first time around. The more you order the worst it gets. The fourth order of brisket doesn’t taste like meat, it tastes like rubber but they say it is the same premium grade of meat. My kids like brisket only. It is a shame that they have so many different grades of the same meat.

We came upon opening on a Sunday. Party of 14 to celebrate my dads birthday. We were seated and our server was Danita (not sure if I remembered her name correctly, but she was the only server with a grey turtleneck sweater on that day). Her service was amazing. She handled our entire party by herself. She was so attentive and checked up on us frequently. I swear she could even read our minds. When we were out of something or needed a grill change or a plate taken away, she would automatically pop up! We never had to wait ling for anything. She was great!The food comes out very quickly as well. Its so delicious and so worth every penny!This place is also well ventilated and not smokey as most other KBBQ places are. Everything about this place is perfect. If you dont your food its kind of your fault, since youre the one whos cooking it. Great staff, extensive menu, great drinks, and amazing atmosphere. Usually there is a wait of about an hour to an hour and a half. This is one of the only restaurants I dont mind the wait for. Its ALWAYS worth it.

The floors are insanely slippery as well so if you dont take baby steps then you will slip and fall. They have taken the fun out of eating there. We will take our celebrations over to Gen from now on.

We love U Grill! They are probably the only Korean BBQ restaurant open in the IE which is amazing! Since they are the only place open they have quite a long wait list which is the only down side. The meat quality here is very good and great variety of different beef pork chicken and many others. The staff here is extremely well trained and very attentive considering the amount of people they have to help. It was very impressive that they memorize everything you order and more, something I could never do. They have a beautiful outdoor eating section with a very professional and expensive looking gazebo or overhead cover with personal tables with individual portable grills. When you eat outside they cooked the meat for you. But yesterday we ate inside for the first time in a long time and they were doing indoor seating as of everything was back to normal which we LOVED. We support any business that goes against the governors orders of no indoor dining. So props to U GRILL. GEN KBB isnt even open for outdoor seating, only take out. Which I should’ve read the reviews first as someone had the same experience as me. Easy 5 star rating. Great service, huge quantities per plate, and all of our meat couldnt have tasted better. Definitely wouldnt hesitate to come back again. We arrived right at 11am on a Saturday and only waited 10 min max.

Great service, good selection on menu. Wide assortment of condiments. Staff promptly refills orders. The grill system works well. Good vent system keeps smoke to a minimum. Used grill plates changed out while cooking. Will return.

I absolutely love this place! If you looking for a good trendy Korean BBQ play so this is the spot! Servers are very attentive, friendly, and on top of things! Food was very tasty, fresh, and abundant! Definitely worth going to the premium side on the menu because of the selection of meats. I believe there are over 40 different types if youre going for dinner. Absolutely love this place I will be coming back for more!

I went about a week ago and it was the most upsetting experience I’ve had to date. I had a problem with the employees not communicating to each other. The hostess forgot to tell the waiter that we were sitting in his area, therefore we weren’t being attended for a while. The manager said that he fixed the problem and that the waiter would introduce himself. The waiter did not introduce himself. He only came once to the table to pick up some dishes and the rest of the time another waiter was attending our table. The only way we were being served was by waving down any waiter we saw and ordering through them. I was confused on who I should be asking for food, and whether I should speak again with the manager. I expected him to fix any issues that were keeping his employees from serving us, but he didn’t do anything to ensure we were being served. He stopped by a couple times to ask if we were okay and every time I told him we were waiting on food, but we didn’t get it until we asked a waiter for it. I thought the slow and interrupted service was because they were understaffed; after glancing at the other tables, I saw that everyone was being served and really had no problems.I go to this place a lot. Too much actually. It usually gives good service and I don’t have problems. This day was such a bad example of poor management. Poor time management, and poor manager on duty. It left such a bad experience that I don’t see myself going back. Not anytime soon. I really liked it because it’s usually a good place to meet my friend to have dinner. The manager could have fixed the problem at a premature state, but he didn’t. Show interest in keeping me as a guest. I payed my bill, but left no tip. I don’t like keeping tips, but this day showed what experience no one should have to go through.

The food and the service was great here. The only downside was the ventilation and the grills here. Our grill kept shutting off every 2 minutes so it ruined our appetite a little. It was also extremely hot in there I was sweating balls which never usually happens. Aside from that, our server was phenomenal and would totally come again for their good and atmosphere.

When doing all you can eat, you have two options to choose from, a $25 menu and a $33 menu (kids are cheaper). Meats were good, chose #1, 2, 3, 18, 24, 25-- beef, chicken, shrimp, octopus. I tried a piece of pork, not sure about the number, but it was tasty as well. Sides were great, traditional. 4 sides and 4 meats per round.The low lit ambience was nice, and perfect for families, but also dates.

Hands down my favorite Korean bbq place. They offer full orders or half orders and even with it being loud, the selection is better then other places Ive been. The green salad is sooo good and I really like their vegetable selection. Their sides are fresh and they are the only place I have found to give you a half order of something which is AWESOME if you only have a little extra room. Plus with half orders you can try more stuff if your a newbie to Korean BBQ. They dont charge extra for left overs unless there is a TON of meat left over. So, be mindful when your getting full. But if you get a half order of something to try and you hate it, Ive never had an issue if some if it is all thats left. They do have off menu sides, so if there is something you have had elsewhere you can ask and they may have it...like rice paper, or green salad. They also do reservations, soooo if you dont want to be sitting for an hour or longer to get a table call ahead and get a reservation.

I love this place!! It’s one of my favorite places to eat at Rancho and my favorite KBBQ place. I really like how there’s two different menus and the ambiance is so nice and perfect to come with family. The banchan and the stews are sooo good too. Definitely recommend anyone to come here. They usually have a long wait but I personally think it’s worth it. The servers are attentive as well and checked in with my group.

A friend of mine posted a video on Instagram about this place and it caught my attention! I went last night as a date night. They said the wait time would be 4 hours and they said they cant guarantee they will have a table for us before 11:30pm. However, an hour and a half later we get seated and it is so good the food they bring out! Whoever was in charge of the AUX last night, had DOPE taste in music!

I had never been to a Korean bbq place ever before. My friend called or went online and reserved a table, we waited outside until they called his phone. Inside was nice and pretty clean. A little packed cuz of dinner time,we were within 5ft of another table but the seating wasnt bad. The meat was good. We ordered from side A of the menu which has cheaper selection of meat, I would love to try side B next time. I dont know who did the music that was playing the whole time we there but it was banger after banger. That was a whole random Spotify playlist, I would come back to eat there just for that.

An all around easy place to sit and enjoy the company of friends.Not much to complain about, the wait was somewhat long considering how empty it was but it couldnt have been longer that 20 minutes. When I got here it said that we had to wait 2 hours. Then when it was time to go in we said that my kid was too little to reach the tall table so then they said that we had to wait for another 15-20 min which is almost 3 hours just to eat there and they said that they need that much time just to clean the table we also can ‘t sit on a table where there were no people there and there was just 2 plates on the table. Also it was very itchy there they had bad service.

I was there almost 2 weeks ago on a wed. around 5 pm. Our server was just ok she was nice but our cups were on empty for a while. The server bringing out the meat was having a bad day. She would walk up and just stare (as in are you gonna make room for your plates) .When we would move things around to make space for her to put the plates down she had an attitude about it. My son spilled some of his drink, the bus boy seen and handed us his rag haha. Their meat could be better quality. Especially their steak on menu B. Gen is way better.

Love this place! Seats are far from each other, Staff are safely practicing CDC guidelines on food handling. Food are good, great space/seats to eat better than being inside if you dont want your clothes to smell like BBQ. I just hope they have more variety of food on the menu like blood sausage and better Jjigae. Over all, it was a great dine-in experience.

For the last 3 years, U Grill has been one of our favorite venues to celebrate birthdays and friends and family get together. They have long tables for a big party and they also have a bar. Their meat and seafood selections are great. They also have some soups. The staff has been really helpful and fast. Customer service has been consistently wonderful! The hour and a half wait was only an hour, mainly because of covid. Me and my partner laughed at the small portions of banchan (side dishes) & were later told they are ignored my a majority of their guests so it was understandable. What kept raising my brow was the deep, delectable taste of all their meat after every round. You too will be pleasantly surprised at how good this place is.

Im a regular here, because of the overall atmosphere and the awesome wait staff. I normally do not do the more expensive items because the regular one has more than enough food / selections for my taste. They have a wide variety of pork, chicken, and some other Korean items, like the tofu soup, steamed eggs, etc, they even had clams and shrimp on the menu.This last visit, however, I wanted to try the more expensive one, it has more beef options. In particular, I was interested in the beef tongue. The first order that came out had chunks of blood and was very unappetizing. We had asked for a replacement and it was promptly brought to us. Unfortunately, that wasnt much different. We would have like to had our first experience to be better for that quality of meat and that pricepoint.Will I come again, yes, but hoping that next time, I wont have blood clots all over the beef tongue...not sure if Ill try it again since it may come out the same way.

I stopped here for lunch after a business meeting. I was by myself and didnt expect that it would be an all you can eat type place...not what I would recommend for someone just looking for a snack. I stayed anyway since I was hungry and didnt want to try and find somewhere else to go. The service was fabulous, the food was great and I wish I was there with others to share the experience. I will go back again but never by myself, and never unless I am looking to eat a lot of food. The experience was fun and it should be shared with others.

I often find it difficult to review Korean BBQ restaurants, as theyre all alike. I usually rate on selection and quality of the meats. Their meats are definitely fresh and flavored nicely. A top tier KBBQ restaurant. My only nitpick is that the music is a tad bit loud, so its hard to hear what people are saying 😅. Better than some places Ive been to in LA.

This is a must return for me! Service, environment, and food is almost perfect. A must have is the potatoe salad its home made and its by far the best Ive had from like 10+ Korean BBQ restaurant Ive ate at recently. The staff is on their toes making sure all guest are getting good and efficient service. They were pretty busy and the time wait was not that bad. The food makes it worth the wait.

Definitely go for lunch as it is an amazing deal for all you can eat!Edit: Well...seeing the half empty restaurant and waiting over and hour to be seated definitely changed my perspective.
