Ultramen Japanese Restaurant Sushi & Ramen in La Habra

My husband told me about this place, i never know this place and i pass this street often.We order tonkatsu ramen, udon noodle, salmon sashimi, brussel sprout apptzr and 2 pcs free egg roll if you check in with yelp.Tonkatsu and udon is okay. Salmon sashimi is good, fresh and good price. My husband and i like the brussel sprout but kids dont like it. They prefer stir fried with garlic or steam like mommy cook 😍.I try mr. Satan roll its okay, not spicy tho.Service is good. Small place, good price and good food.

The food was great. Its not every Japanese food joint where you can get a sushi burrito.And the sushi (not in the picture was great as well)The one less star is because the service wasnt that good.

Check out their lunch specials!What we shared:- GyozasDeep fried Beef and vegetable dumplings.- TakoyakiOctopus pancake ball with Takoyaki sauce, Sweet mayo, fish flakes (so cool when you see the flakes moving) It’s really soft inside.- Vegetable Egg Rolls (unexpectedly soft inside)- Salmon Roll-Ins- Gengiskhan RollMongolian Style Beef, Onion, Asparagus, kale, krab, avocado, cucumber with EEL sauce. Love eel sauce. The beef was really good.

Great little spot for HOT ramen. The noddles are hand made to order and the broth is on point. I had the beef ramen. Amazing bulgogi beef in the ramen. Spicy beef broth. Great flavor and amazing texture. Started with some Cali rolls and chicken bites. Great little starters with a nice cold Kirin beer ($1.99!!). My son got the beef Udon. He is very picky and he loved the broth, noodles, and beef. Great comfort food on a cold wet night. Servers are nice and friendly. Try it out. You will come back again. I know I will.

Service was fast friendly and helpfulMy Ist time herethe food was hot, tasty, and plenty of it. I was surprised it wasn’t crowded on a weekday, but there’s a lot of competition close by and the crowds may be more used to fast foods for lunch. I would come back! Reasonably priced too!

This is a meat and non-meat review.We stopped to check out this cool-named ramen place. Hahahaha.Meat: the rolls are beautifully presented. Hahaha. The spicy salmon sauce was good according to the wifie.Non-meat: the avocado roll is just another avocado roll. Hahaha.The veggies ramen has asparagus, corn, onion, cabbage, cherry tomatoes were nicely pan fried before putting on top of the noodles. It has a wok taste. 😆. The broth is light and nice. Maybe its a light broth, you can taste the egginess in the egg noodles.Ok place for a nice meal. Thanks for the courteous service.The place is clean.🤣. Soy sauce comes in packages instead of a jar due to the pandemic? But be prepared to open them carefully. Hahaha.

The sushi was fantastic, the ramen bowls are very flavorful and hearty. Cant beat the 99 cent beers. Win win!

We ordered here for the first time on Mothers day, really enjoyed their rolls! At first didnt know about their promotion and ordered 3 rolls, but the lady kindly recommended me to get one more to get the half price on the fourth roll. Very friendly staff, Im totally coming back to try the rest of their food!

Now it’s one of my favorite Japanese restaurants!

Great Grand Opening! The food was very delicious. The Tonketsu ramen and the takoyaki with the nice cold draft of Kirin beer hit the sweet spot. Highly recommended!
