2023-07-07 08:06:18Love the noodles so much. Butter Garlic noodles and Guba Umami(mild heat) were my favorite. The beef shank was soooo soft. Love it. And the boba was good too,I got the osmanthus oolong milk tea. I saw the price one year ago was $13 before tax, and now is $14.3. Not bad. With the portion and flavor I got, I am happy with it.

2023-09-10 00:04:54AMAZING place!lused to work at a Taiwanese restaurant and this place is like BEYOND amazing. Their food is INCREDIBLE! The flavoring is divine, textures are immaculate, and you can tell the chef has curated and crafted his recipes to perfection.Spice levels can be adjusted so its great for all ages and spice tolerances. His boba is also literally better than sunright tea studios. The tapioca texture is immaculate and drinks are really high quality. The popcorn chicken, beef noodle soup, and golden kimchi are my absolute favorites! The food here surpasses any other popcorn chicken ive had in my entire life! (and i grew up in the San Gabriel Valley eating Taiwanese food weekly).Amazing amazing joint with great calm and welcoming vibes!New! More ways to react to reviews.

2021-08-23 06:47:57The sauce for the noodles are amazing and so is the soup! No MSG, just real chicken stock! I also recommend the orange green tea! Stinky tofu, popcorn chicken and pickled cabbage, so much to try! No dine in, but I’m ok with that!

2023-04-16 03:44:35Terrible service. The front lady forced me to pay tips when she would not answer our questions about what she would recommend to order because it was our first time. The food was okay, the portions are small for the rice. Beef noodle was not bad but wasn’t spicy enough. We asked for more spicy sauce and they literally rolled their eyes. Then asked what kind of spicy sauce to pair with what food, why does that matter?! We just wanted more spicy sauce. Unbelievable. We’ve never received as bad of a service as this restaurant. Never going back again.

2021-12-21 07:57:40Taste is very subjective so take my review on the taste with a grain of salt...We ordered the Koba, butter garlic and Guba Hot Spicy. The skin on the pork belly of the koba will give the leather sole of your shoe a run for its money for how chewy it was. The butter garlic needed some more flavor. The Goba was good, if I were to go back Ill get that. The service on the other hand, its hard to convince me to go back. The lady working behind the register is borderline rude. When I ask what is the Koba dish instead describing it her answer was its on the menu, read it!

2020-04-22 02:03:57My husband and I were craving some authentic Taiwanese food and stumbled upon this place through DoorDash, after a little digging through Yelp we found nothing but positive reviews for this place and decided to give Umami Bistro a shot. Wow! The dishes we got were so delicious and you can taste how fresh the ingredient was. It tasted like something my mother-in-law would make for us whenever we visited them. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. So glad theyre still open during quarantine and shout-out to the kitchen staff! 5-Stars homemade cooking served fresh!
