Great quick stop for boba milk tea with great amount of taro and tea jelly inside the drink. Very tasty and filling! I got the mega milk tea and was sipping on it from mountain view to Vallejo.

I was skeptical at first because this one was too cute. Usually, eatery and drink shops invest either in interior design or food taste.I decided to order 2 drinks here in hot summer day, when we visited the festival.One was Lychee smoothie with cheese top, and one was Thai milk tea with crème brûlée. To my surprise, this is probably the Thai tea I like best so far. Not too sweet but creamy enough.My husband, on the other hand, favored the Lychee smoothie because he doesn’t like creamy drinks. But, he complimented the smoothie was refreshing.

This is always my go-to bubble tea store. It has plenty flavors of milk or fruit tea to choose. My favorite topping is Crystal boba. The store display is also beautiful! Great place for picture.

Just another boba spot.Nothing super special, got the taro & mochi black tea latte and it was pretty decent. Would not recommend getting their drinks hot since the toppings are cold and sit at the bottom of the drink. I ended up sipping a warm latte with chunks of cold boba.Decorations inside are super pretty though! The vibe here is great. Wish I could sit down in the restaurant and enjoy it, but unfortunately theres only takeout here.

My favorite boba place, their merchandise are super cute and cheap. I have 2 of the cups from them, 1 cup holder, 1 bunny plushies keychain, and 1 surprise plushies keychain.My favorite drink from this place is the milk tea with mochi and boba. I love the mochi from this place so much. moreover, the Hot drink version of this is even better for a cold day.

I got Avocado Ambrosia of God. It came in a huge bucket. The place had nice deco. The drink was interesting but I wouldnt come back for it. Theres just too much going on in the drink and I didnt taste anything special. Maybe other things are better.

Very cute atmosphere, super pink and unique. Perfect for a date night. Beware there’s not a ton of indoor seating though.They have very high quality tea as well! I got the default boba milk tea and it tasted very rich and creamy compared to other boba places, though the tea flavor was also very authentic as well.

Been to the Palo Alto location where I tried my first Ume drink. Nice to know that they have one in MV now. Its got a super cute interior but its not a place you would hang out at since seating is a long bench along the wall. Perhaps one day theyll have tables. Havent tried the food but the drinks are unique and pretty good. The mochi in the drinks are not as chewy as I thought and have a soft silky texture. If you like taro, youll appreciate it is real taro but note that they dont add sugar since the taro sweetens the drink. There are non-caffeine drinks too. Currently there is one tablet to order from and a cashier that might take your order if they are not bringing out drinks. Dont be in a rush if you need a drink fast. Take a pic for the gram while you wait.

The popcorn chicken was really good!I usually get their strawberry green tea slush but I got their white peach oolong milk tea for winter special; my favorite thing to get on Castro.Their sweetness levels are actually pretty accurate, 0% is not sweet and 100% is regular sweetness which I really appreciate. I like to get 50% - 75% on their drinks, and I’m someone who usually prefers less sweet.

Cute interiors inside. Ordered Strawberry Latte with Coconut Pudding. Added bursting yogurt boba to it. Strawberry latte with coconut pudding was good, especially the coconut pudding. But the bursting yogurt boba was a let down. It didn’t feel like yogurt at all. Actually ruined the drink with it. Ignore this topping.

I was told by my friends that Ume has really cute merchandise so I have to come visit Ume and get them all. Although I have a bad experience at Ume Palo Alto, Ume Mountain View is so nice. I met a lady in the front and I asked about the merch. I also told her about the disappointment that I had at the other store. She apologized for it and I really appreciated that. So after all, I got the merch and the drink with suprise plushies inside. Everything is perfect except I havent had the bunny ears sleeve since theyre out of stock and I dont know if the bag comes with the pearl chain because mine doesnt have any. 😭😭

Outside looks very Asian but drinks and food on the menu. I had the sugar lowered so I could drink on the go - out downtown Mountain View before I got full. Its a good place for taking anywhere. I gotta say though, the Mango Pomelo Sago is perfect to enjoy summertime (June 2023.)

I think this makes like the 6th boba shop in a 1-block radius at the tip top of Castro so theyre in great company.This place not only captures your ABG sakura aesthetic to a stunning degree but also has very unique offerings for both tea and food. I dont think the tea menu is as expensive as the other locations right now, but thats made up for the variety of Taiwanese snack foods and bento box meals. A good value for lunch!The employees were also very nice. I mistaken one of the tea items, but they got to replace it even though they already finished making their tea. Theyre the real ones out here. 🥹

Not only was the food (fried tofu) and boba excellent, we were greeted by one of the nicest and most compassionate people - Cici. Our baby was crying because she was hungry and Cici immediately played peekaboo, gave her a toy to play with, and a strawberry; after which she quieted down. This is my daughters favorite milk tea spot on Castro. However, I wish their ordering wasnt so complicated. When I order a boba tea, I just want boba tea. I dont want extra things put in it. Also, if I ask for no ice, I still want it cold. Im accustomed to it being shaken with ice then strained. I just dont want ice in my final drink, because I dont want it melting while Im drinking it.Update: note to management in response to your comment...Filtering ice is not an option on your menu. No ice is. At most tea places, no ice still has the servers ice the drink then filter it as you describe. Yes, I suppose I could add notes, which seems like a nuisance. However, if my daughter wants to go there, thats what Ill do.

I drink bubble tea/boba about 2-3 times per week and Ume Tea is one of my favorite shops! I always use my personal glass tumbler (24oz/700cc) here and the employees always handle my tumbler with the utmost care. For their permanent drinks, I recommend their Black Tea Latte with Taro and Boba or Strawberry Latte with Coconut Pudding. And if youre feeling a little adventurous, please try out their seasonal drinks, which are both delicious and innovative!

Google really needs half stars 😅. I would say this is like a 3.5 but more leaning 4 than 3. I got the house milk tea at 75% but it tasted more like 💯. My gf got the mango pomelo sago which she said had a good but candy mango flavor; I tried it and liked it. Good location and they went hard with the aesthetics. Worth checking out.

Came here almost every time visiting MTV downtown. They have special drinks that you can not find in typical bubble tea places and the sugar level is just right, tea flavor is rich.Coming back again in a different time and the experience was very unpleasant. Waited a while to order, stuff are chatting loudly in front of me and not coming. When food is ready they call me in a very disrespectful way. Not sure if I will come back again, there are so many other options on this street.

Our favorite place for boba tea (Galaxy is our favorite place for boba coffee). Used to drive to Barber Ct or Cupertino for Ume. So happy one opened up closer to home.Love the mochi boba milk tea so much we get the mega bucket to share every time (its the equivalent of a large plus a regular, according to employee). We get it with 0% sweet - with the mochi and the boba it turns out to be the perfect level of sweetness for us.Cute decor. Annoying tablet UI.

I am so disappointed by the service here! !!!The girl working here was so indifferent, when my order was ready, she just put the drink on the table and didn’t even call my name. Okay, I can bear with it since I know it is my order.The worst part was that the milk tea was not sealed properly, so just split out, I went back and asked for help, the girl didn’t even say sorry and just gave me a lid, the whole process she is being very indifferent.I won’t be there for my whole life!!

Friday afternoon service. No air conditioning or music; felt overheated and stuffy while waiting 10 minutes to order in awkwardly quiet atmosphere. Place looks tired: dirty floor, decore a bit dusty and uncared for / in need of a refresh. Drink while good came without requested boba. Service was pleasant and called my name which was appreciated. Very cute and nice atmosphere. Good customer service. Flavor of tea is very artificial, not sure what ingredients are used. I had a strawberry and matcha drink and my partner had taro. Strawberry tasted like red dye. The taro was strange.. (play doh?) Maybe they will up their quality in the future as theyre still fairly new on Castro.

After the two ume teas that one first LIED TO US about having there surprise cups, and the second one HAD RUDE SERVICE AND THE PLACE WAS LIKE ACTUAL GARBAGE, this one was finally a good one after we wasted a good amount of 4-5 hours. Super cute place, yummy food and mochi tea was delicious. There were 3 ways to order, QR code, kiosk, or at register. They only had 2 employees, but they were busy in the back, so we couldnt ask questions. At the kiosk you couldnt put in specific instructions ie. regular vs oat milk. Scan the QR code for less fuss.

I think this location is the prettiest ume tea so far in the Bay Area that Ive tried. Ive checked out Fremont, Newark, and Palo Alto locations so far and I think this one has more IG worthy decor that you can take with your drink. Its located in downtown Mountain View, the street was blocked off for pedestrians so find parking a block or so away and walk here.Upon walking in youre greeted with a bunny statue and youll see pretty walk painting to your right, and a pretty Ume light sign to your left. There are no tables/chairs but they have bench type seating against the right wall.I thought the popcorn chicken here tasted better than the other location - so crispy and flavorful! I loved their fried octopus! I actually enjoyed it more than the popcorn chicken, although both were very tasty. The portions were HUGE so I shared them with my family. I got the surprise bunny milk tea with regular milk tea, 30% sweet, light ice, and boba. It wasnt too sweet and it came with a cute bunny plushy! My friend got a cute plushy as well. So if youre looking for cute plushies, check this place out! I also tried a bucket of fresh green fruit tea - wow so good! I loved the real fruits infused in the green tea. I can drink this for days! My husband almost killed the whole bucket himself across two days. Id love to come here again if Im ever in the Mountain View area!

Succulent, tender, sweet, and still with a nice amount of heat.Thai and Oreo Creme Brulee drinks are perfect for those with a sweet tooth craving. Theres nothing else like it in the area. Wonderfully creamy, thick, and sweet.QQ Pumpkin is a hidden gem and definitely worth a try at least once--the slight crisp surrounding a mochi soft center is a great gustatory combination. Very lightly sweet and an all around delight.

The takeaway I ordered was very fast, the packaging was also good, there was no leakage, and the taste was very good. Except for the taro paste, which is a bit crooked and not recommended because it was too thick to be sucked up, everything else was very good.

I have been to this store many times. Apart from the reason that it is relatively close, the products produced by this store have always been very stable. I have basically never had any trouble. Its perfect for a drink and a walk after going to the library with the kids.

The new black sesame milk tea is amazing. It’s so fragrant. I like sesame and I can’t stop. The service is also very nice. I highly recommend it. I heard that the soy milk milk tea is also good. I must try it next time.
