Great food and services overall. The service was fast, waiters are friendly, food came with little wait, no mistake in our big order. There were 8 of us and we came around dinner time. Will come back again! If youre looking for Japanese food, this is it! Awesome sushi and ramen! Also, mochi is a must for dessert!

Update 7/26/23 for another great experience! I have tried a few places now in LA, but so far this is my favorite ramen shop.Added some delicious tofu and a Sapporo.Previous: I love it here! Honestly this is what I most looked forward to visiting again on my second trip to LA. The staff is always incredibly friendly, theyre very quick and everything from the Gyoza to the spicy Miso soup is fantastic!

This place is poppin. I was blown away by how good the ramen tasted; you can tell they didn’t take any shortcuts on the bone broth. Flavor was outstanding. Really decently priced sushi with great portions. Had to wait a little to get a table but service was really quick once we sat down. It’s a nice place! And lastly, Umigame = sea turtles and I LOVE them.

I am Japanese and I am in Los Angeles on vacation.This is my first time in a Japanese restaurant.The food is very good and the service is good. The restaurant is clean.I recommend the red dragon roll!

EDIT: went back a second time and liked it even more. Got the beef teriyaki this time and sampled more sushi - all were great, especially the eel roll! Their sushi is very well priced, and good quality - not a hint of fishiness at all. Jilian has given us great service and we will be back!!First visit: Went here to camp and study a bit outside - staff was fine with my extended stay period and their chai latte was very good. After a while, ordered some sushi, ramen, karaage chicken and miso. For the price point and quality, I’ll be back for the sushi! Staff was very nice and attentive and not annoyed by my long visit - or at least didn’t show it 😁 miso and ramen were great! Karaage was certainly not bad by any means but not my favorite. Worth trying though!

This spot is wonderful. The menu is somewhat limited but the options are phenomenal and they easily accommodated my food allergies. I had the lobster roll and we started off with calamari served with spicy mayo. The calamari was cooked to perfection and tender to the bite. The lobster roll was so good, Ive been dreaming about it ever since. Im definitely heading back over there to enjoy that roll again, real soon. The service was great! Our server was friendly and attentive.

We came to Unigame Japanese Kitchen after a long, fun, and exceptionally rainy day at Universal Studios. The hot ramen, udon, tempura eggs, and chashu side rice bowl were piping hot and perfect to warm us up. The service was fast and friendly and the food was delightful. We’ll have to come back to try the sushi when it warms up!

My friends and I have been here twice this week! Our favorite roll is the sunrise roll and we always get a free vegas roll for checking in on yelp too! Service is very fast, drinks are yummy, its a chill spot to sit and hang out with friends and have some sushi and cocktails!

It was my first time trying this place, and after reading lots of really good reviews I had some high execrations but... sadly the quality of the sushi here was terrible. We ordered 2 rolls (their specialty rolls), also their tuna crisp rice and a salmon carpaccio. I couldn’t touch the salmon carpaccio because it had a very strong vinegar taste and all the fish just tasted like that cheapest not very fresh fish. I love sushi and honestly so disappointed. The sushi place across the street is way better. Paid the $115 but will not come back here again. I have it 2 stars only because the waitress was nice, but also not super nice because she didn’t even ask why we leave with all the food on the table pretty much untouched. I hope we won’t get sick after tasting this fish, absolutely not fresh

Food was nothing to write home about, and the area felt like a dive bar in Chelyabinsk. The staff were nice, but evidently very distracted, prioritizing online orders over customers in-store. We waited over 45 minutes for a final plate of sushi after receiving our rice-crispy catastrophe they called a spicy tuna crunch roll.

Currently on a road trip and was looking for a quick bite with friends.100% would recommend it here! Eaten here 3-4 times. Every experience was great!Delicious Japanese food with very friendly staff and lively location. Weve tried everything from the ramen, sushi, karaage, takoyaki, carpaccio. Everything was fresh, high quality, very tasty, and correctly priced! Highly recommended.

We like trying different ramen spots and we are glad to have gone to this spot. The ramen was superb as the broth was tasty while the rolls were a good balance to the meal. After we finished we decided to walk it off and enjoy the beautiful homes in the area. This is a great spot!

I ordered Togo. Their prices are low they should have 1 dollar sign on post mates. On top of their great prices this quality fish is freakin delicious. I just plowed down a spicy tuna roll & the yellowtail carppacio some edamame & miso soup. I’m stuffed & happy & not broke.

Our favorite sushi spot in the valley by far! Reasonable prices for really fresh and tasty food. Great rolls, the best salmon sushi and delicious ramen! The staff are always really friendly and attentive as well. All around good quality spot.

I hate to give them such a low rating… The food is good, but service has consistently not been great…Three times they have gotten my online order wrong… I think that they re-enter the order after it comes in from online, and often times they will write things down incorrectly. No effort really to rectify the situation after it happens either, just an “our bad.” So, while I have given them multiple chances hoping that it was a one time (or a two time thing), the third strike was it for me. There is better sushi and better ramen nearby that actually gets the order right and offers friendly service… 🤷🏻‍♀️ Won’t be coming back again… 😮‍💨

Good vibes, great food and service. I have 4 stars on atmosphere because the waitress held the door open for a long time for a guest ordering out front and we froze!! She was asked to close out and didnt ace it was was cold tonight. Great casual and delicious spot!

Some of the best sushi I’ve had in LA. Quality of their fish is excellent. Even in their basic rolls, the salmon just melts in your mouth and you can taste how fresh it is. Their specialty rolls are delicious, I recommend the Baked Salmon roll. Other dishes like soft shell crab or their spicy tuna crispy rice give this restaurant a well rounded menu with good options for anyone. Lastly, their teriyaki beef is surprisingly tasty and very filling. This place is an absolute gem.

I loved this place when it first opened, but recently the quality of the fish has really gone down. Every time I get a sashimi salad, the fish tastes old and I just had a Philly roll where the salmon was really fatty so I didn’t get to eat half the roll. I tried to tell the waitress about the fish and I wish she would have given me a discount because I didn’t eat any of it, only the veggie part of the salad. It’s sad but I’ll probably only get veggie rolls here from now on.

Service was good but Ive never seen a ramen restaurant charge for garlic or hot pepper paste. Kind of put off by that. They didnt mention it would cost $1 each for those. Ramen itself was ok. Lunch special was reasonable value, but otherwise not very impressed.

Dynamite chicken ramen. The broth is flavorful, yet lighter than youd expect. Great vegetable mix, and the chicken itself is very tasty, not just boiled. The karaage is crispy, tender, and delicious, but the sauce is the real standout. Also, they got good ice, if you know, you know.

Used to come here multiple times a week until i had a horrible customer service experience in which my order was incorrect and when i tried to have it corrected i was ignored by all staff until i had to raise my voice to get someone’s attention. then they tried to give someone the incorrect order that i had already opened and tried thinking it was my order. very disappointed in the way this situation was handled and will not be returning.
