Found this spot on an absolute whim while waiting for an event to start and was blown away by the kindness, amazing service, and food! I had the prosciutto panini and it was incredible. My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich as well as some fries. The owner was so amazing and went above and beyond with presentation, gifted us his specialty drink (it was great!) and brought extra food than we ordered. It’s refreshing to have such a great experience and actually FEEL taken care of at a restaurant like this. Wish there was an Af’s near me!
Delicious Sandwiches and excellent customer service. I highly recomment Uncle Afs Sandwiches- Fresh and tasty with delicious sauces.. im very picky with my food and have NO complaints at all... You have to try it for yourself.. my favourites so far are Ramz, zaboon, and chicken firecracker.. their drink is very tasty and goes well with the sandwich as I dont drink soda. Hope you enjoy your experience as much as me :)

Comedian Tim Dillon mentioned Uncle Af’s on his podcast and the next time I was in the area I had to check it out. I had the Mona Lisa panini. It was excellent. The owner gave me a sample of his tea and a side that were both so good I have to go back. Great to see a family run business create such a fantastic experience.
The food was some of the best I’ve had in California! The service was even better and they genuinely care about your experience. I highly recommend their specialty drink for breakfast and brunch.Will be coming here every time I’m in CA from here on out.

Amazingly fresh and tasty sandwiches. The mona lisa is simple but really rich flavor of basil and mozzarella. The veggie sandwich has a good mix of mashroom and goat cheese and more. Very nice owner too.
Really unique and delicious sandwhiches. I wish they came with a side of frys. For the price of the sandwich a little side of fries or side salad is not a lot to ask for. Additionally they seem understaffed. It is a mom and pop type place, so love to support small business. But the wait times on the weekends for lunch can be 40 minutes. So call in and order ahead. Weekedays the wait times are much faster. Just shows the food is amazing! The owner is very energetic. I think it can come off a little aggressive at times, but he means well!
I had the number 7 (the chicken pesto). it was super flavorful, the chicken was not dry at all. If you are looking for a good sandwich, place in the agora hills area, then come on down to Uncle Af’a.You will not regret it. Come on down today.
Based on the great reviews, I made my first visit to Uncle Afs today. It was fantastic! They were unbelievably nice in there which is such a refreshing thing these days. I cant wait to go back!
Actually came to the shopping center with intention of going to Maral Cuisine, but saw Uncle Af’s and decided to go there instead. Was not disappointed! Got the chicken burrata sandwich and a side salad, plus a BLT to go. Both were excellent! Also recommend trying their iced tea, it has a hint of lavender (I think) in it that tastes nice and adds a refreshing element to it as well.
Great customer service! One of the owners greeted us with a smile, took our order and was kind to bring our food out to us. We ordered #9 sandwich with Black Forrest ham and it was absolutely delicious!!
Had the Firecracker Chicken Sandwich. Delicious! Perfect spice and great combo of flavors.Adding on to this... Just had the LA Rams Panini. Amazing! So many layers of flavors on a crispy, ciabatta. Also, Ben, the owner, was super friendly. You can tell he loves to serve great food and make people happy.
Large quantities with top tier quality for a fair price. What really is special about this restaurant is the family who owns and runs it. I came in for some food and quickly felt faint and unwell, the cashier immediately noticed and gave me a free drink and a sample of potato salad to eat and recover while my food was prepared. They are some of the kindness people Ive met, every time I go in I feel loved and part of the establishment and I see this behavior with every other customer. Thank you for being just more than a restaurant, I appreciate all you guys have done for our community.

Best family run mom and pop sandwich restaurant Ive ever been to. Absolutely everything is delicious, I recommend the Chicken Firecracker with a side of fries and an Arnold Palmer. Nicest staff and fantastic food! Uncle Af is a legend, and I hope he is here to stay.

Came in today and got two BLTs that were delicious. The guy working there was so nice. He heard my son say this was his new favorite place so he brought us out a complimentary Sweet Spot Sandwich - yum. Hopefully well get a chance to come back before we leave town. Really enjoyed this place and their food.
Amazing sandwiches! All the ingredients in both the club sandwich and cold cut were fresh and flavorful and the bread was soft inside with a wonderful crunchy exterior. Sides of brussel sprouts and onion rings were great, too! Staff was super friendly 😊 Will be back and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great meal!
Absolutely the best spot for miles. Their food is so balanced and well prepared. Everything is home made and it tastes like it. The chicken burrata and firecracker are great! I crave their tomato soup any time it comes up in conversation. You cant go wrong here. The service is also fantastic

Well made. Ben, owner very personable and wants you to have a great experience. Sandwich was very good and you can tell it was made with care. Attention to combination of ingredients. I had turkey sandwich spicy but good. Came with salad. Cloth napkins and metal silverware was a nice touch but not needed. My mom had the mushroom or veggie sandwich. She said it was great. Too much for her, took half home. Look forward to being a regular. Prices were very reasonable for what we got.

I had a vegetarian sandwich with mushrooms, spinach, pickled onions and cheese. It was delicious. Really tasty. Very tasty appetizers if u are a fan of Brussel sprouts and cauliflower. All drinks and foods are very fresh. Very clean kitchen and work area. I Difinately suggest this place.
I drive to Thousand Oaks solely for these paninis. And thats from Pasadena, which if you know LA, isnt near Thousand Oaks! But I digress. Sandwiches here are the best. Worth sitting in traffic for. POST pandemic traffic, so its that bad. Firecracker chicken is, indeed, fire. Just delicious. Cant get enough. Also 10 minutes from calling in the order to pick up is the best.

Wow, this place is an awesome hidden gem in Agoura! The service is great but the food is excellent. I got the Russian soup and Bagdad bandari. Both were absolutely delicious! The owner is very cool if you can catch him between offering the friendliest service in town...

Came here on a road trip down the coast and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Very service too, the owner gave me a free ice tea when I just ordered a water. I will need to keep this place in mind when driving through again.

I was at work and had to leave my car at a tire shop while it was getting repaired from a nail in my tire and I needed to get something to eat while waiting I ordered the chicken sandwich with Pesto and it was amazing🤙 They saved me because I would not have been able to have lunch that day and it was probably one of the best sandwiches I ever ate.... Solid food and great customer service overall that made it an excellent dining experience.I ordered their tomato soup, onion rings and garlic permesan brussels sprouts. The soup was good, needed a little salt but still descent. The onion rings was on point and the Brussels sprouts was also very delicious.I’d definitely come back again to try their Banh Mi sandwich. The interior was really decorative interior and there’s also a lot of snack choices.

2023-09-15 03:42:06Came here not knowing what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised! I got the Super Turkey on ciabatta, and it was SO CRISPY. The firecracker aioli added a delicious kick and the turkey and avocado were so fresh. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly! He was the only one in the kitchen at the time, but still had our 3 sandwiches and fries done in less than ten minutes! You could tell everything here was good stuff and insanely fresh, definitely will come back again and again and if you are anywhere in the greater LA area, you must check this spot out.

This sandwich shop is so good that even though I dont live nearby, Im willing to go out of my way to go have a sandwich here. The food is creative and different and did I mention absolutely delicious as well? The customer service is top-notch. I cant stress enough if youre anywhere nearby and you want a good sandwich, you should absolutely check this place out

2023-06-25 21:33:35This place has amazing sandwiches, I had chicken sandwich. Easily 5/5 for their food. What I don’t like here is flies and this cafe doesn’t provide water cups which is crazy in US. I would like to come back here but having at least water cup next time. For now I will leave 3/5, hopefully they will change.

Theres a sunny yellow color scheme, inspirational quotes, and a smiling, helpful, welcoming owner who loves his customers. Ask him what to order. He recommended 3 sandwiches, and I picked the #7, so now I can heartily and highly recommend the #7 Chicken Burrata (pannini) thats huge, delicious, and could easily fill up 2 people. It comes in a foil container and the owner puts the foil with an open side to let the steam out (first time Ive seen this done). Smart guy! How come other restaurants dont do this?! So no soggy sandwich. Crispy and delicious, like a pannini SHOULD be.

I ordered the Chicken Firecracker Sandwich, and replaced the arugula with lettuce (not an arugula fan). The “firecracker” spices were super flavorful and added a nice kick. The chicken was very tender and they give you a huge portion. They could’ve used another slice or two of bacon, but that was my only criticism. I think the owner was helping me out at the register, and he was extremely kind and helpful. Can’t wait to come back and try some more options!

2022-01-13 00:17:13I ordered from Uncle’s Af’s for the first time today for my work. I was impressed how nice he is. It was super easy to order and he responded right away. I ordered catering for 15 people and it was enough for 20. Everything was really delicious and everyone was asking were the food is from. We will definitely order again!

2023-06-07 23:24:16Ordered the Happy Cow. My partner ordered Chicken Firecracker Sandwich. Both were incredibly delicious. The perfect lunch. Good proportions. A few seats outside by the entrance allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the great weather.
