I had never visited this location until this trip. In the past we have gone to the Davis location. The great thing about this place is they have a full kitchen! We went around 5:30pm. We were greeted and seated right away. We ordered all appetizers because they are BOGO from 3-6pm. The wait staff were all amazing! The food was more than you would expect from a bar type setting. The presentation was fabulous. They were training a new staff member and let us know ahead of time. It was a great overall experience and we will be back!!

Our recent visit to this restaurant was marred by an unpleasant experience with the hostess. Upon arrival, we were informed that we couldnt sit at the high tops due to having children in our group. Thats understandable. When we asked if it was possible to split our party of seven into two separate tables, the hostess became visibly flustered and confused. She stated that she would need to speak to the manager about our request and seemed annoyed by our flexibility. Her demeanor was unpleasant, and she displayed a lack of awareness regarding the availability of other tables. As a result, we decided to leave the restaurant without dining. While Im sure the food and beer are great, the hostesss behavior left a negative impression

This place was honestly really nice. Went here for a date and I definitely dont regret it. It was pretty busy but the servers were still very attentive and the food was delicious. I got the beer batter burger with the loaded pig fries and my partner got the A+ street tacos. We also shared an RR loaded nacho for our appetizer. The portions are really big so I suggest going on an empty stomach or sharing your meal if you cant eat a lot. Neither I nor my partner could finish one plate. We also ordered a few alcoholic beverages and they tasted really good too. Overall, it was worth the trip and money spent.

We went in their spontaneously for a drink and a dinner. We went in and the waiters were so hospitable. The booths are not super comfortable and it very loud inside. If you like the quiet dining experience I recommend to sit outside. Inside, the atmosphere is really cool if you like going out to drink with your college buddies type of feel. The food and drinks were really good. I recommend the chicken wings.

My friend and I were looking for a quick stop for a late lunch. We had no idea they had happy hour so our lunch prices were great! Food was delicious which is really surprising for a bar establishment.I highly recommend them and would love to come back for beers!

My wife and I have been here several times. Everything we’ve had from the menu has been amazing! From the Drunken Pig Fries to the Mango Habanero Fish Tacos to the Stuffed Tater Kegs and more, so delicious! The Beer list on tap is excellent too! Definitely recommend!

We stopped at this location after shopping at the Vacaville outlets. Wasnt too impressed with the servers. When we were greeted to be seated, we were asked if we wanted to sit outside. We were with friends that had a service dog. (apparently, he wasnt aware)Food was good as we made it during happy hour. A lot to choose from at a decent price.

This place is amazing! Great food, staff and free doggie food on weekends. We come here with our fur baby every weekend. They treat him really well. Korean skirt steak with grilled shrimp and fish tacos are my favorites. The staff are great, our favorite is Racquel!

Went there with my boyfriend and dad. It was amazing, our waitress Natalia recommended we play the trivia game and it was a great way to connect. She gave amazing service and was very attentive with our food/drink orders. She was absolutely amazing!!!

The University of beer had outdoor dining and pick up available. The temperature outside was 54° and no heaters available. Bring a warm jacket, because youre going to need it. The appetizers were tasty and the beer was refreshing. Our waitress wasnt very personable. They will sit customers close together. We had a group sit behind and in front of our table. Staff was awesome and attentive, even with all the outdoor seating. It was a warm afternoon, ensured we had our waters full. Food was good, had the Drunken Pig Fries(?). Waffle fries with pulled pork, it was was a meal in itself. Definitely other bar items if like to try when I come back.

Firstly, they have Pliny the Elder! I was pretty excited to see a bottle sitting on a table when I got seated so I ordered one immediately. The wait staff were very attentive and the heaters made sitting outside very comfortable. I had the beer battered burger. It was really crunchy and the burger seemed to have shrunk inside the shell. It was very tasty. The garlic fries are amazing. If you like garlic, dont pass on these. I want to try the drunken pig fries next time. My only complaint is about the touchless menu. The webpage is slow and some links are unresponsive and the main page is a huge ad to join a paid membership that makes finding the menu a little tough. Im coming back for sure, lots more menu items to try!

I love it here! I come here at least once a month and Im never disappointed with the quality of food and customer service is always great! Alex was our server. Hes pleasant, attentive, and just good people to be around.Top food recommendations have to be Totchos, the shrimp trio, and the beer battered burger. The cocktails are pure sugar but tasty if sweet is what your looking for.

Was there with a group of 6 people and I was not aware that they charge a mandatory 18% large group gratuity by default. Have not seen the bill and added another 18% when paying - would have expected that the staff tells me about the large group gratuity and that they don‘t expect an additional 18% one so it was an expensive experience even though we went there during happy hour ☹️.Rating my experience, not food or drinks.

The food was outstanding. The drinks were decent, but nothing to write home about. The waitress was very nice. But the flight prices are outrageous. They charge 75% of a full sized beer for each individual pour on the flight. So a flight of four tasters costs three full-sized beers. And gives you the equivalent volume of one beer. There was no mention of this until we got our bill. We were horrified. Up until that point, I was certain we would be back. But thats a lot to swallow before considering a return. I really enjoy trying bits of different beers, but this is definitely not the place to do it.Edit: I do appreciate the business reaching out to clarify that the pricing was a bit different than wed been told in-restaurant, but the fact remains that we paid about $40 for two flights (of four pours each). The beer wasnt remarkable enough to be worth a higher price point. That leaves me with the impression that the service is good at all levels, but customers should be prepared to spend a pretty penny to enjoy it.

Easily the best place to eat in Vacaville!everyone we spoke to were very nice. The waiters were happy to serve, kind and friendly. The host were eager to help and compensate us (a family with kids and a baby) considering the bar atmosphere they still wanted to help us eat.The kitchen did an amazing job with the food! The beers on tap were vast as well as ciders and even though as a family we got there on a Saturday night at a bar spot we were treated with kindness, respect, and prompt service! Hate to take one star off because THEY TOOK THEIR BONE-IN WINGS OFF THE MENU 😭 Now they only serve boneless 🤢Aside from that, our waiter/bartender Alex was attentive, courteous, and talented. The food - cajun shrimp Mac n cheese, shrimp trio, and drunken pic fries - were delicious and super flavorful. The beers were fun to try and their shooters were yummy. Karaoke made it worth staying after the kitchen closed for more drinks. Lots of people came to sing and dance and have fun. Will definitely be back.

We ordered the shrimp trio, chicken lettuce wraps, and bbq pulled pork Mac and cheese. Drink selection was wonderful including beer and mocktails. Mango mule and strawberry lemonade with dragonfruit bursting bolba mocktails were awesome especially since I am 40 weeks pregnant and not having any alcohol. Husband had couple of stouts with shots. We would have ordered dessert but we were so full. We’ll be ordering churros and cheesecake to go next time. Staff encouraged us to come back after baby is born and surprised us with a gift card after our meal. We’ll definitely be going back. They advertise a Military Monday 25% off but dont give it to you on the whole order. I went with my wife and two young children for an after work dinner (because of the military monday promotion) and they only applied it to my wifes meal. I am both a Veteran and Dependent. This is a strange practice not normally seen in other restaurants/bars. Lady at the counter informed me this is how the owner said it was ment to be specifically and not a mistake. This is not mentioned as one of the exclusions on the website.

Some food was amazing such as drunken pig and the cajun mac and kids bacon mac. Burgers are mediocre at best the rely heavily on sauce to flavor the burger. Price is expensive but its all made in house. Manager was amazing but waitress was ehh Wouldnt return again unless a date night as kids meals are almost $9.Overall it was a good experience and tryed a new place and new food but not sure the price is worth it

Make sure you bring your id, birth certificate, passport, military id, social security card, utility bill, proof of income, 1099, w2, your company business card, 14 credit cards under your name, etc if you’d like like to be served a beer here. Had a new Nevada Drivers License with a small crack in the lower left corner and my expiration date wasn’t the correct interval from date of issue (from the restaurant’s perspective, learn about Nevada please) I’m well above the drinking age and just wanted a nice meal with a brew. Manager was completely incompetent and unwilling to accept my 2 forms of VALID ID that I fly with and drive with every single day.Wouldn’t recommend any service here. Bad management, they must have gotten burnt by law enforcement.

My family and I visited during lunch and I was a little disappointed. Atmosphere was ok, no complaints. We were upset about our food order. Order a starter that didnt arrive until when our main course did so we had to pick which food to eat first and risk having cold food. Been twice now. Food is a fun balance between creative and traditional. You know how some places are too creative with their menu it becomes unpredictable and you dont really get what you think you ordered. Or other places are too traditional its boring and maybe even plain. Not this place! Everyone in my group loved their food each visit. And the beer is awesome! They have a relaxed vibe, friendly staff, and order-at-the-bar-when-youre-ready policy. I kinda like that. They encourage ordering flights and have special printed forms at the table waiting for you to make your selections. Then the flight gets served with the form incorporated under the glasses so you know what youre drinking. With so many beers to choose from, theyve busted out tablets to see the beer menu by category. Also found that pleasant. Waiting for more favorable outdoor weather to enjoy the large patio.

This is a great place to go if you like beer. They have around fifty beers and ciders available. All are listed on digital tablets on the bar. The staff are friendly and happy for you taste any beer before buying.They dont do food as such but they do have menus for a couple of restaurants around. I chose a salad with fish and was very disappointed with what arrived. I believe you can by your own take out and bring it with you. I would recommend this! As I believe a previous reviewer mentioned dont forget to use the cold panel at the back of the bar for keeping your beer cool in between sips!

This place is great! I love the ability to pick from a selection of local brewers. We came in for a quick bite before my girlfriend had to go back to work and we were seated and served with lightning speed and friendly service. I’m not a fan of the ordering process. The beer selection, although large, is rather boring. I had really high hopes as the soft launch menu was really good, but after the full launch the menu has only a few added items. The burger was small and bland. I’ve had better at Carl’s Jr. However the staff is super nice and helpful. The multiple TVs are nice. Hopefully they can pick up their game.

Great beer. Huge variety of on tap brews and bottles. Food was good. Only complaints were that the Pulled Pork Tacos had a lot of salsa (too much IMO. Too spicy to enjoy, not enough flavor) and the salsa for tortilla chips was way too spicy. Lots of bar flies looming around overhead and the bar was really cold. Overlook the nitpicking and this place is topshelf. Bartender knew what he was talking about and was very friendly. 5 stars if they clean the tap mats and drains.

The people actually know the beer here and the newer people arent afraid to ask their knowledgeable managers. Staff seemed to be having a great time with Patrons which really makes it a fun place. Good food and service, we went in a group of 7 in the very small print it says they will charge 18% of gratuity, they should tell you when they tender the receipt, we payed 20% in the top of that so 38% of gratuity!! then we found out that thye over charged us, bill was fixed but 38% remained. Food was good and the beer selection was above average. Most places that call their self a tap house have 50 IPAs, a few pilsner beers and no stouts or porters. This place is above average, I had a very tasty stout. Try it at happy hour, buy one get one free appetizers and with each beer you can buy a 5$ shot of Jameson!

Huge portions, great food. Odd name I know, this restaurant is geared more towards men in the 18-45 year old range but it’s surprisingly kid friendly. Kids eat free on Tuesdays, so with 3 kids that are still on the kids menu, it was a nice treat for the family. My go to when in Vacaville.

I was so excited to finally check this place; really looking forward to the imperial stout.However...I will have to share with the masses who would chose to be interested in such things, that if you are a person of visible ethnic background, traveling with a group who are of visibly non-ethnic backgrounds, be prepared to suffer the embarrassment of being the only one at the table be required to show a stamped passport in order to he served. Highly recommend the happy hour special for the buy one appetizer and get one free offer. Trust, these are full on meals and delicious. Our favorite are the Drunken Pig Fries, Mango Habanero Fish Tacos, and Loaded Nachos! They even have one of my favorite beers in the world, on tap, Old Rasputin. It seems like they have one person working the bar, except even if you are sitting down at the restaurant section you have to come to the bar to order. Had the Cajun Mac & Cheese. Dish was extremely greasy and atmosphere was terrible. It felt like it was closed and the service was mediocre at best.

If you like beer and sports then this is the place for you. Its really loud, the crowd are all sport nuts and they have a huge variety of beers. If that sounds Great then this is your new home.

The bartenders are very knowledgeable and there is a great selection of beer. Each table has a tv so game days are awesome. The food it pretty good too.

Best burger I have ever had. Far better than Whalburgers and better price. Huge beer selection with knowledgeable staff to help navigate through the experience. I highly recommend University of Beer

Awesome food, not too busy. Only downside is it would be nice to know instead of sitting around looking like a dummy that everything no matter where you sit is ordered from the bar

First time going to UOB. The waitress( sydney, excuse if misspelled ), was very attentive to service and the food was great. Recomend visiting this place for great beer’s, food, and service.

Great place for food and drink. They are doing everything right during this crazy time. The staf and management ate great. Tasty food and cold suds!
