Food was great but its definitely a smaller portion. Service was alright, not the most attentive, but Ive also seen worse. Smaller restaurant but definitely a comfortable space. Great overall, just wish it was a bigger portion for the price.

We celebrated a family birthday here. It has the sparse elegance and food artistry of some of the hushed, high-ceremony restaurats but skips the intimidating formality. This is a family place, with staff chatting and laughing, generous portions and a warm friendly ambiance. Totally worth it, long drive and all.

Outstanding Traditional sushi. Everything here is authentic and traditional. They have a good selection of their own style, and all the more common traditional choices as well. We were impressed. Had a few sakis and felt really satisfied walking back to the hotel. Thats the beauty of Rockaway, everything good is close by.👍😎Our second time here, Its a few days after Thanksgiving.This trip we ordered at least 5 different rolls. Some shrimp tempura, Baked Muscles, Ikura (Salmon caviar Japanese style)And a Ichikan and a Sapporo large beers, and 1 large saki.It was ALL excellent, we had a very nice and relaxing meal. Service was also very quick and efficient. Sometimes they will be VERY busy and patience should be practiced. Best Sushi in Pacifica thats for sure. 😃🕴️

The food is good but the service is terrible. It wasnt busy, there were 2 servers and they were not attentive at all. Apparently 5 people is considered a large party and they added an 18% service charge, so I guess they didnt care about providing quality service since they were already being tipped. They brought all of the sushi rolls out on one plate, even though there were 5 of us sitting far from each other. When I asked if they could be put on separate plates, he told me there was an empty plate in front of me. They placed all the waters and soups at the end of the table and everyone had to grab their own. There were also bugs flying around everywhere. Definitely would not return.

This place was definitely more than I expected. The food was delicious. Service was good and quick. We started with Chicken Karaage and Fish Tacos. I was surprised by the quantity of the chicken karaage. For an appetizer it’s pretty well served and its super tasty! The Fish tacos were pretty good but not my favorite. The fish lacked some flavor, the taste and texture of the avocado overpowered the fish. We also got the Salmon Skin roll and the Romeo and Juliet roll which we were told was one of the most popular rolls. I personally liked the Salmon Skin better, I thought the price was great! (7.50) it has more flavor and more texture. The Romeo and Juliet roll was good but the level of spiciness was a little too high for me. Overall i loved this place! Was vey happy with the prices and satisfied with the service.They have their own parking lot for customers too.Will be coming back!

This is a very delicious place! Great fresh sushi🍣 it is a small place but very good nonetheless! Would recommend for anyone looking for great Japanese food.

First of all this seems not to be a authentic Japanese restaurant. They play very loud Japanese music so that some people will overhear, that the stuff is talking in chinese (or something else but definitely not Japanese).First waiter was not really unfriendly but also not friendly… The ordered food came not in the order we want it, main course comes as starter and so on.I had Kobe Tataki, who’s first of all was not Tataki and also not Kobe… The Beef tastes like Water.My wife had sushi, were you cannot made a difference between tuna and salmon from the optical site… usually tuna has a darker red color then salmon.

I personally dont like Japanese at all as I cant eat raw food and not a big fan of Sushi.I went with a few colleagues and they tried a few dishes and they all loved it.The beer was good and the dished were tastyI tried the shrimp tempura and they were really good so I imagine the rest of the food would be awesome too.I wont be visiting the place or for that matter any japanese restaurant unless they serve hibachi fried rice but maybe my friends would.
