The first time I went there, the service was excellent. We had a table reserved. However, due to the weather, (freezing) the manager decided to move us indoors( he went above and beyond call of duty to accommodate us) even though we had a small puppy with us ! 😀Food was exquisitely prepared, I had the the greek salad with tofu ( scrumptious), and my husband had the Kale salad . The rest of the group could not stop talking about how delicious their meal was.We celebrated my sister husbands b-day, and it was total success!

My wife and I ordered the burger, lamb shank, and the steak a la carte. It was DELICIOUS! I loved the burger especially, it was so fresh and cooked perfectly. The bread pudding that we ordered at the end was also the best I have ever tasted. The sweetness level was just right and hit the spot! We also each enjoyed a cup of earl gray after our meal with our dessert, and it was splendid.The service was great as well. They brought our food out in a reasonable time and stopped by to ask how we were doing. We received just the right amount of attention, and even though this place is new it was clear the owners are very experienced and are doing a great job!I first thought this place was fast food but when my wife and I sat down we realized it was going to be an elevated experience. The ambiance is very relaxing and it was a nice break from our busy working lives. I definitely want to come back here for happy hour next time!

Our third time! The menu never fails. Hearty and delicious! Brought my friends last Thanksgiving and they wanted to cross the bridge to visit and have lunch again!

I like the outdoor seating and the open all afternoon hours. The Miso bowl with salmon was very good, but the Aztec salad was missing the corn nuts and had terribly under ripe avocado.

Urban Kitchen in Burlingame is a quite good place! The modern ambiance, diverse menu, and impeccable service make it stand out. The fusion of flavors in their dishes is impressive, and the fresh ingredients shine. Whether youre into classic or adventurous fare, Urban Kitchen delivers. I left thoroughly satisfied and eager to return. maybe prices are little high for the food and service they offer, but overall fine!

A la carte line. Took about 6-8 minutes to receive my bowl in an empty restaurant. Their bowls are suggested ways to create it, but you have the freedom to swap or remove proteins and ingredients and the pricing structure is fair. The portions are a little small on the protein so I would suggested you add another serving. Ingredients are super fresh.I had a Thai bowl with steak and missed the spicy description which was my mistake. I sure paid for it though because the sauce is very spicy.I wish the cashier educated on available happy hour specials and suggested to add a side. I didn’t think about it until I saw the offer on the table.Great deal on sides and a drink for that afternoon break.Place was clean.

I was skeptical at first but after trying it I have to say that it was fantastic. I had the chicken Katsu with brown rice and the salad. It was the best meal I’ve ever had. The salad dressing was also great, you could put it on almost anything. The staff was also great and extremely friendly.One thing I do have to say is if you’re in a hurry this place is not for you since the wait to get you food is a while 10-20 minutes. But it’s extremely worth it since they make it from scratch.Brown rice : 10/10Chicken Katsu : 10/10Salad : 10/10Dressing : 10/10Staff : 10/10Ambiance : 10/10Overall 10/10 and highly recommend just to try it once. - Friendly service- bright, clean ambiance- tasty fresh foodOverall a nice new add to downtown Burlingame’s fast casual options. My favorite dishes were the burger and mac n cheese. They just opened today, and I recommend coming in for lunch or a chill dinner.

Food was well cooked and presented. No complaints. Chicken kabob was good but Mediterranean Kabob just up the street specializes in kabobs and is better. Charred Brussels sprouts were very good.
