Vibe is super chill with excellent customer service. The food here is always amazing! I highly recommend the Moroccan chicken with the Brussel sprouts is always my go to when I eat here. Also, Vanessa and Andrea are always super kind and go that extra mile to make sure I am taken care of with customer service.

I came across this restaurant on my way to Malibu, and I have to say I got lucky. I was craving a salad, and they had the best options. The atmosphere is lovely, even though I didnt get to dine in. I would highly recommend it.

First time dropping in and wow I was blown away by how kinda Tanya was, amazing soul spoke a little about her background.Not to sure what the girls name in the front that rang us up was but she was also amazing. We came here by accident looking for a bite to eat while traveling from Santa Barbara to LA, and we couldn’t stop talking about how glad we were to have found it. Really felt like an elevated Panera experience, and affordable! Try the banana cream pie!! One of the staff members, Korie, was so kind and made our experience a thousand times better! Thank you!! 🤩

Ordered steak plate to go. Steak was so undercooked it was actually raw and cold, not pink, raw and inedible. No cooking facilities where I was so had to be thrown out. The big hair mixed in the veggies wasn’t particularly appetizing either. Missing a side I ordered as well. Not a great experience.

Time and time again I find myself at this fine establishment. Each time a better experience than the last, this time I was attended and served by Cindy who was awesome to chat with and gave such a warm welcome at the order kiosk that I needed to recommend this place just for that level of service that she offered! Food is phenomenal, the staff is great, keep up the great work. This place is basically a second home! Also I’m relatively fit so you know the food is healthy despite the fact I eat here frequently!

Really nice atmosphere. A place somewhat similar to a Corner Bakery restaurant, I thought. Outside dining available. Ordered the Sea Bass (farmed). Fish was nicely cooked. Didn’t like the hollandaise sauce it came with though. Cauliflower rice was okay but did have to spruce it up by adding a little hot sauce. Bread was cold, hard and plain. So didn’t even bother eating it. Charred broccoli was good. Hubby said his burger was meh. Nothing to rave about. Does look like a kind of a boring burger in my photo. Nothing like the picture they had in the restaurant. Fries were really good though. I’d give this place 3.5 stars. For me, it was a healthy meal all in all.UPDATE: returned to Urban Plates and got the Cobb Salad with Chicken. Enjoyed it very much…it was fresh and delicious. The slice of bread I received was good too. On the soft side like it should be. I will have to try other menu items next time.

Food was good but the wait was ridiculous. Food wasnt ready until 22 minutes after it was supposed to be. I understand they were slammed but give a realistic pick up time so people dont have to stand around the restaurant for 25 minutes. Isnt that the point of ordering online or through app, so you dont have to wait for your food?

Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, but the food is incredibly salty. We had the seafood chowder, 2 pc chicken strips meal, and kids steak. Steak was cold. The broccoli was good as was the macaroni and cheese, but the chowder, chicken, and fries were over salted. Makes one wonder if they have another seasoning. The bread was odd, tasted moldy but I assume with as much bread as I saw going out, it probably wasnt.

If you are doing take out, please open the bag in restaurant itself and verify that everything is in bag. Otherwise some of the side will be missing. In my case its fries, which my son is eagerly waiting forWhen I went for a second trip, and said fries are missing, the person in counter simply saying like I will get it for you. I am expecting at least a sorry for the inconvenience caused for me and wastage of time and effort, because of their negligence.

This place is wonderful. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. Tanja and her team great you as you walk in and ensure that your needs are tended to, all with a smile. We had a large party and they quickly helped us clear off a couple tables and get place settings. Chef Edwin is a master as everything ordered was scrumptious. I had the grilled salmon and it was loaded with flavor. My broccolini was sensational and I even tried the braised beef which was tender and robust with flavor.UP has become my go to and this location is definitely my favorite of all. Dont sleep on this great restaurant!

Everything here was so delicious! Friends and I were looking for a casual place to grab something and were so happy with our experience. Really fresh and high quality ingredients, great portions, and great prices. Same or cheaper than panera and way, way better. It’s counter service but the staff is friendly and attentive. Easy menu to navigate for dietary restrictions. Wish we lived a bit closer bc this would be our new spot! Honestly might be worth the drive. Desserts are so good I think I shed a tear.

For a quality lunch experience attractively priced. This place hits the spot. Today I had Asian Chicken Salad. As simple as it was named the flavors and textures were above and beyond. The lettuce blend, arugula, grilled cage free chicken, organic carrots, green onions, oranges, spicy roasted peanuts, crispy wontons, red bell peppers, cilantro, spicy peanut dressing out did the naming convention. It came in at a lovely 660 calories for those interested.

Im a huge fan of this place and have been coming here for years! The food has a home cooked style and the menu always has something fresh to offer. Chef Tanya is always friendly and has been running the place really well. My recommendation is the Portabella Mushroom sandwich (I get it with the roasted tomatoes and white cheddar cheese)

This was my first time here. Love the decor and the vibe. The staff was friendly. You order your food, pay upfront, and they bring it to your table. They sell wine and I think beer. I ordered salmon with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts with turkey bacon. My family members got the breaded chicken with carrots, potatoes, and beets. For me, the food didnt have a lot of flavor and my food was not very hot. My family likes their food. They have an outdoor seating area. I noticed you can get food delivered with Uber. I love stopping by this place for lunch. My favorite is the nicoise salad and the carrot cake. The cake is their top seller. Really really good. Manager Taniya always comes by with a warm smile, greets you and asks if everything is okay. Good selection of deserts and plenty of seating space.

Was shocked when I went inside. Absolutely beautiful establishment with friendly staff and amazing food. Essence was very friendly and helped us navigate the menu. I got the herb chicken plate and the chicken was very flavorful and moist. My boyfriend got the sandwhich and he loved it. My patatoes were also very good as well as the Mac and cheese. I felt so healthy eating here after having a hard morning with no sleep and Mc Donalds for breakfast.

The best salads ever! Fresh, crisp and so naturally tasty. Pictured is the local beet salad and had the seared tuna salad last night. Both were amazing with a glass of Hess Chardonnay. The dressings are the best. No crazy vinegar that bites your tongue off and leaves you praying you won’t wake up with a huge canker sore in the morning. Staff very helpful and accommodating.

Staying at a hotel for a business trip, I ordered delivery from Urban Plates. Everything I ordered was delicious. The comfort food was just what I needed. I had the steak with chimichurri, mashed potatoes, beet salad, and macaroni and cheese. The portions were perfectly sized and the the steak, cooked medium rare, was tender. I imagine it would all be even tastier if you ate it in-house, when the pandemic is over.

They do not wipe the tables and chairs after customers leave. The restaurant looks modern but dirty. We wiped our own table and it was filthy. We wiped crumbs off the chairs so we could sit down. Food is not great. Sandwich bread was cold and the chips were stale. Fries were way too salty and I like salt. I don’t want to know what goes on in the kitchen. The person at the register does not like his/her job. You will not feel welcomed while ordering food. We will not be returning… ever!

They usually forget to put chicken in the CHICKEN cob salad!! Twice now, I have ordered the cob salad to go and when I got home I saw that forgot the chicken. Make sure to check your order before you leave the restaurant.Another time, they forgot the avocado in my girlfriend’s salad and gave her blue cheese when she specifically asked for no blue cheese. I called them a few times to complain and ask for a refund but each time I was told that the manager was very busy and was not available to address my concern. Came here to have dinner, ordered grilled grass fed steak, side of Brussels sprouts and Cesar salad, the food came out very disappointed as the toast is burned, I the Brussels sprouts are not fresh, the grilled steak is raw, the only thing good is my Cesar salad which is very fresh. I normally love coming here, worked across the street for 2 years. Had problems here and there but nothing like today, decided to order two sandwiches for curbside pick up and arrived about 5 mins before designated pick up time. Called the number on the building and the girl that answered seemed nice, told her I was calling that I ordered curbside and gave her my name to which she asked if I ordered doordash. I told her no that I ordered on their website to which she replied oh I don’t see it but what can I start for you, I said I already ordered and was supposed to be ready for pick up. Ended up having to go in to get the food so that was a botch, got home about 15 mins later to open up the food and find both sandwiches cold with one of them burnt beyond eating. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to call or go back but ended up picking out the insides and throwing away the bread, it was so cold the cheese that was on it wasn’t even melted. Pretty disappointed given how expensive the food is, I guess make sure you check it really well first

The worst part about this for me is that I was not able to be there to experience the taste of the food. The Woodland Hills location was WONDERFUL to work with. They took care of making sure the delivery was made on time and everything was labeled for the intended person. We had about 15 entrees ordered and all I heard was how awesome the food was. They proudly claim “no plastic utensils” on the website and even have it on check out.But when I got my 4 sandwich meals, they included EIGHTEEN single use plastic wrapped plastic utensils. The worst food we ever had. The steak was old and cold. The potatoes were from hours ago, black, smooshy and cold. The garlic bread was damn cold, burnt and ugly. The Cesar salad was not a Cesar salad at all with old tomatoes in it. Salmon portion was ridiculously small. I do not recommend it to anyone. I wish I had taken pictures for you to see. I had a truly great experience with the Woodland Hills location of Urban Plates. The place is new and clean with modern decor. Really good prices and Sarah went above and beyond anything required and provided amazing service. She took the time to go item-by-item through the menu as I peppered her with questions about various things I was looking at. She explained the ordering/takeout procedure & told me all the things that people really like and also what is healthiest too, so she saved me a lot of time and her attitude and demeanor were friendly and helpful. The steak was really good and well prepared and you can tell it is organic by the taste. I give it five stars across the board, nothing went wrong with my order at all. They are located in a really convenient and well-kept portion of Ventura Blvd next to a lot of other useful and interesting places as well. There is a nice big lot with effortless parking as well. I definitely plan on ordering again from this place, lockdown or no lockdown. Im looking forward to more locations hopefully popping up elsewhere so I can enjoy their food when Im in other areas. The staff is very helpful to those who havent ordered with them before as well. I cant think of anywhere else in this area where there would be healthier more filling food I encourage others to visit and try the grass-fed steak plate.

Went here with my boyfriend today and we both ordered the salmon (which we usually order). The last few times the salmon has been slimy, but today it was bloody. It was disgusting, especially because he ate half and then saw it. Also, they also changed some of their recipes like the macaroni and cheese and gravy and they are just not good, which is disappointing. The food was just gross and hopefully we don’t get sick from the salmon. Be careful with what your order.
