This is a really nice place to go to. The inside of it is well designed and I also like the menu layout. I was speculating much with the replenishers since they all look good, which is the reason why I want to try one of them.The Nashville Chicken Tenders are really spicy, which made me drink a lot of water. Honestly, I wish there are spice levels to them. The portion of the French fries are just right and the beet salad tastes good. I was expecting to see more goat cheese around the beets.This place is pricey, but they serve the right portions. I was amazed that they are very quick when they served my food. I am wondering how they even prep the food here.

Good food. Easy to order from the table. Good for the kids. Friendly staff. Get the coconut lime drink! It’s good! Fries are delicious! Seasoned with garlic and herbs. Overall will come again.

Huge selection of California style salads, sides, sandwiches. Nice patio seating outside with views of the nearby mountains. The service staff is friendly and the service is prompt. It is next to a busy road and so can be a bit noisy but not too much. Great spot for lunch or brunch.

I was so excited to try this place and was so disappointed, we got two chimichurri steak plates, we asked for medium rare and basically got chewy raw steak. both of the plates were completely bland, every component of the dish was bland and oily, everything was covered in oil, the dish also didn’t follow the menu, i was supposed to have turkey bacon with my brussel sprouts and it didn’t have any, instead they added onion which it did not say it came with and i am allergic to onion, the corn on the cob had crema which it also didn’t state on the menu. overall very bad dishes for a place that markets their food so well.

Highly recommend if youre looking for quality flavorful food. Such friendly staff, clean space and quick service. I went with a bigger group- safe to say we all enjoyed our meals so you cant go wrong with anything you order. From overall experience, knowing that it’s a franchise this place gets a 5 stars for the location, ambience & design, service, food amount, and quality (salad was a bit salty), friendliness, even variety of options to choose your preferred seating.Selecting the place a family member suggested that “I know the place that you might like!”. Came over and it was a spot on. From the big menu by the entrance to coming in and Nicolas recommending us what to pick, event for our 16 month old daughter was a very pleasant experience. We were given a number and food was served at our table at no time. After getting water and utensils, we walked around the facility and found out that we can sit inside with a few different options (high or low tables, private or company style), as well as two outside patios (fully covered and just shaded).Wall deco was interesting as well. Bathrooms, clean, spacious and modern. By the time we washed hands, our table was served with food. The taste was fine, not more not less. Cesar was a bit on the salty side, and I believe that was due to the Parmesan that was over it. Soup was extremely hot in the beginning and cooled off at no time.Can I highly recommend the 4UP plate with wide variety of options to choose from. (Garlic Parmesan Cremini and oyster, Beet salads with Goat Cheese, Maple Butternut Squash with toast, Red and white quinoa tomato). Highly recommend!Pleasant experience and will definitely be back to try more delicious food.

9.26.23 Food was good, but lots of oil used on veggies. Pooled onto the dishes. Cashier was friendly, attentive - nice change from some past experiences. Outdoor seating is great, attached to restaurant or where parking used to be more outdoors. Parking in general still very challenging, esp during peak hours.8.24.22 Update: So prices have gone up *again* for the 3rd time in the past 6 months or so. Our fav, local beet salad, is now just a few cents below $14! Ditto on the vegan meatloaf. With tax & tip (which like many restaurants now is pretty much mandatory when the cashier flips the screen toward patrons to complete the transaction - even for take-out), and drinking water, a meal for 2 is just under $40. Its not doable for our family to eat at UP now as often as wed like. We know inflation has caused an increase in prices everywhere, but this additional price hike is just too much. Other restaurants, even in the same shopping center, havent raised prices again & again. On the plus side, theyve added some new side dishes that look good. Sweet potatoes were disappointing as they seem to contain soy sauce, which didnt appeal to us & was unexpected. New garlic fries are an upcharge (for potatoes?) but were tasty. We still really like the roasted potatoes, always very good. Wish there were a frequent diner club to reward loyalty with a discount, free meal... something! New cashier was aloof & unfriendly, very much in contrast to our usual cashier who is a young man who goes out of his way to be helpful, polite, and attentive. Ate inside instead of on the patio this time & we were sitting by the large spoon & fork on the wall near bathroom entrance. We were grossed out to notice about 30 flies on the inside glass windows trying to get outside. We understand that an occasional fly is going to get in, but this was not acceptable. They need to get a blower like Habit Burger has or use some kind of effective sticky trap or whatever as this ruined our meal when we looked up & saw so many flies do close to our table. Couldnt get a good pic, looks like only a few flies as they were buzzing around several large windows.

Delicious! I like the fact that it SEEMS like its wholesome, healthy food. The people were easy going and customer service oriented, the interior had an interesting cool vibe and most importantly, the food was delicious!I had never been so I didnt know what to expect but Im glad I went. I approached the building and noticed a sizable menu out front. The selections were really delicious sounding with a couple international dishes that I immediately started to think about (I love international foods). They also had a nice outdoor patio which would be perfect for 9 months out of the year here in the greater bay area. That day was sunny but indoor was more my jam that day.When I stepped in I felt the warm atmosphere with really nice details from a design perspective (Always stuck on the design). They had big screens with the menu on it, some wines displayed (Some that I recognized from my wine industry days too (Not the really corporates ones either)) as well as a decent sized dessert cold case.I got up to bat and ordered their beef and mushroom stew with rice (Always eating rice). I wanted to explore more but it was a very cool day and a warm hearty stew was right up my alley. I often eat my stew with rice so that sounded like comfort to me at the moment.My meal was REALLY GOOD! It wasnt too salty but had the rich flavor that one would want with a mushroom based stew. The rice was a brown rice and was a nice compliment of texture to the stew. I also ordered this cranberry apple ginger juice thing which was AMAZING!!!Im definitely going to go back and when I do, Ill explore a little more. I went there on my lunch break and with tip it came out to $24 which is a little much for what I usually spend on a lunch but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.Update: 09/10/23I went back a couple times, one time I ordered the Spicy Chicken sandwich and a Chx tortilla soup. The sando was actually spicy! I love it! The soup was amazing too!

It was quiet when I went to catch some food before a movie. The food was excellent, appeared very quickly, and very well prepared. Great prep work, apparently. The food did not have any of the familiar sugar overloading so common among chain restaurants. I will definitely consider the 20 minute trip to revisit this location again.

Big restaurant with a variety of seating options both inside and outside. Lots of great spots for 1 person to sit and have a quiet lunch. Big long tables to accommodate groups. Food is delicious. I had a beet and avocado quinoa bowl that was fantastic. The fries are salty and so good! The tomato soup is also very yummy but the size of the cup is small. Would have given 5 stars. However, several times during my lunch, a loud, obnoxious beeping sound was going off and no one seemed to notice or stop it for several minutes each time. Many ways to order food, including pick up or at your table from an app.

Food was wonderful! The quality was beyond what I paid for. Never had asparagus I could eat down to the end of the stem. They were so tender. Loved the atmosphere and service. The cook even came out to greet us! Excellent!

It is a walk up and get a number place, so you cant give a full 5 star. Was a little difficult to figure out how to order since it was our first time. The atmosphere was good except it didnt have any tvs for sports. The food was worth not having the tubes though. The pricing is just above fast food but the quantities and quality is far above. Has many gourmet sides and good quality entrees. Has burgers and fries for the younger audience and great steak and fish for a real touch of flavor.

We had the sea bass and I was thinking Chilean sea bass but no, it was Barramundi which Is also known as Asian sea bass. This one was just not tasty at all, would have been better if it was fried and salted. The kid was the only one enjoying her dinner with her burger. Will try a different menu next times around and please, take out the sea bass from your menu or do it better.

Nice restaurant located conveniently in a shopping complex and Dublin right off the freeway. Lots of healthy food options to choose from, salads and soups to steak and sandwiches. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, which is great because this place can get busy during lunch time.

Food was reasonably priced and very delicious. We ordered the tofu/vegetable curry bowl, moroccan chicken bowl and a mango tart, all of which tasted fresh, delicious and looked amazing. The rainbow beets and carrots side also tasted wonderful and light. Dont sleep on their coconut and watermelon drinks either.

Stopped in at this Urban Plates and decided to try the Nyjah Bowl (cauliflower fried rice, broccoli, sweet potatoes, with peppers & onions, wakame, micro greens, and grilled chicken). It was OK. I’m much more interested in trying the salads and other menu items next time. The large Cowgirl cookie was excellent!

Excellent service and delicious food!I had the sea bass plate with brussel sprouts, rainbow carrots, and bread.My daughter had four sides which included sweet potatoes, fries, fruit, and cauliflower fried rice.The only side that was just good but needed more seasoning was the cauliflower rice. I really liked this place. To me it was like Panera but better as far as ambiance and the food was great. I had the flank steak with rosemary potatoes and roasted beets and carrots. The steak was tender and the potatoes were perfect. For dessert we had the hummingbird cake. The frosting wasn’t too heavy and it wasn’t overly sweet. I am definitely going back again. I’d like to try a bunch more stuff on the menu.

Interesting mix of vegan and omnivore food with several delicious side dishes one could make a meal of! Our family of five enjoyed both vegan and meat dishes of our choice for the third time, knowing we will return. It was packed with only outside dining space available when we arrived, but we soon got a table inside. We come here from Hayward, so it must be worth the drive! I cant vouch for the beef as I havent tried it yet as I have been enjoying too many other dishes from the menu! The chicken tenders can be too hot for some, but order them without the heat! I love the beet dish and order it every time as one of my sides. Mix and match can be fun!

I am Surprised to see such good reviews for this restaurant. They must be from before the pandemia.This restaurant became soooo bad. After and during 2020, they changed the menus and removed dishes and drinks that made the restaurant popular.Their salads are totally different in flavor, presentation and ingredientes.The food is so inconsistent…. Some times is okay and some times it is just bad. They miss ingredientes in the salads EVERY TIME! They are lazy to mix up the salads. The salads have no flavor. The ingredients on the salads are not shop in a professional manner… they just cut big pieces of cucumber and apple in a way that you get these big pieces of food.In conclusion! They don’t CARE!The managers are short temper and don’t CARE either.This place is not the same place it once was.Too Sad!I ordered one of their PRECOOKED hamburgers and the cheese was cold and hard put in the precooked pieces of meet. The bread was cold just take. Out of the bag. In and Out is way way better then this joke.There is no roasted potatoes any more. It is a thing of the past like pretty much anything from this place.

We stopped here for a late lunch and really enjoyed it!You order up front then they give you a number for you to bring it to the the table if your choice so they can identify where to bring your meal.I got the portobello mushroom sandwich and my bf got the steak meal, everything was perfect and delicious! Everything was seasoned really nicely. I loved my sandwich and my fries were nice and crispy, but we were obsessed with the brussel sprouts that was part of the steak dish, the flavors of it was out of the world and I could totally just eat a whole plate of it.Overall definitely would come back to try their other menu items!

Stopped in for lunch before some shopping. It wasnt bad. The ordering experience was easy. I didnt realize they had more detailed menus in a different spot before ordering, but its fine. I got the Moroccan Chicken Curry bowl with rice, it was really good, but a little bit lacking in quantity. I mean, you are using chicken thighs, rice and different squashes/pumpkin type veggies. There definitely could have been another scoop of the curry mixture on the plate, for the price point. I ordered the mac and cheese for my kiddo, I tried it when I noticed she wasnt too interested, it was lacking in flavor. She ended up eating part of my curry, which really should speak volumes of the flavor there, shes just over a year and definitely enjoyed my meal more than hers😅My mom got a salad with chicken... I think it was the chop, but I cant remember. She enjoyed it, but she doesnt like thigh meat so she was bummed about that, she realized after that of my meal was thighs then hers would be too, but that was an after thought. She liked the rest of the salad, and she really liked the toasted bread.Overall, Id give it another go. It is a bit pricey for what it is, but the food was tasty, and the gentleman at the register was very friendly!

Visited the Dublin, CA location for lunch. Enjoyed the Morrocan Chicken Braise w/organic mashed potatoes and rustic bread. Had the organic green tea to drink. The food was plentiful and delicious and the drink was refreshing. I sat in the covered outdoors area in the rear. There is plenty of indoor seating as well as a smaller outdoor area at the entrance. I recommend this place for groups as well as solo outings.

This was my first time at Urban Plates. I must say that the food was delicious. I ordered the 3 chicken tender meal. They were so good. I had the Nashville hot tenders with Brussel sprouts and lime chili corn on the cob. DELICIOUS! Their ranch is amazing (I love ranch). Organic and healthy eating made from scratch in this cafeteria, only for those who are willing to wait in line to get a plateful of sumptuous foods but quite overpriced. The atmosphere is pleasant, clean, but it gets busy at lunch time! I like their salads and desserts are super. Free parking is all around but it gets full during busy hours. Urban plates is my go to now that I seldom cook. I eat here frequently because the food is quick, simple, nutritious and flavorful. The inside is bright, clean and well organized, they offer thoughtful wine options and natural beverages. If I want minimal stimulation I don’t even enter the building, I sit outside scan a code order my food and only speak to a human once to say thank you when my food arrives. But I will add all my interactions with staff are pleasant and consistent. Daniel stands out the most and is always efficient and super personable. Food is healthy and moderately priced and it doesn’t break the bank if I’m here 1-2 times a week, I never feel guilty

I had high hopes for this places, I really wanted to find a local spot that has fresh healthy food at a reasonable price. However, this place is a modernized Denny’s :-( from the Moroccan dish to the French fries we had everything was terrible. How do you mess up French fries?! They were cold and soggy. The beet and got cheese side had 2 small crumbles of goat cheese and was flavorless… I’m not sure what everyone else was reviewing here but I would rather see a local mom and pop restaurant with actual flavorful food! Will not be returning…

Hana Sake is my favorite since I have that sweet tooth. We usually vet the razor clams if in season, garlic fries w/ cheese, calamari w/ an amazing sweet sauce, 2 dozen oysters, chicken cartilage, chicken gizzards, pork belly, pork cheek, chicken skins, and many other skewers. Friendly staff packed during Warriors games they all wear Dubs gear. I recommend you reserve a table if there is a Warriors game on.

Was very disappointed in my first experience here. Ordered a chicken Caesar salad, a salmon Caesar salad, and cup of Tomato Basil soup.The chicken Caesar didnt come with the Caesar dressing, so it ended up as a dry salad. Both salads had way too much cheese, and the cheese was extremely salty. Enough so that I didnt taste much of anything else.Salads came with grilled rustic bread, and both pieces were soggy with butter/oil.Tomato Basil soup was very sweet from the combination of coconut milk and pesto. Also, while pesto contains basil, it itself is not basil, so there was a thick layer of oil from it sitting on the top of the soup.The staff was very nice and courteous, and the building looks great.Overall, thoroughly dissatisfied, especially when Im paying 40 bucks for 2 salads and a cup of soup.

This used to be a great restaurant to go to. I used to come all the way from Livermore to go to this restaurant. Not anymore.Customers used to be able to go up to the counter and view all the food, order, and see it prepared right in front of you. When I mentioned to the manager that I was disappointed it wasnt the same as when they opened, he was rude and blamed COVID. Just by his response, I take it he gets that comment a lot. Urban Plates serves sashimi grade wild Albacore tuna in their seared raw tuna entrees and salads. Melted in our mouths.Staff was friendly and will provide free samples to try to help you decide. I would call Urban Plates cuisine - California farm-to-table cuisine (salads, soups, stews, entrees, pizzettes, sides, desserts). There is a lot of multicultural cuisines mixed in their food and meal options.The entrees come with two sides and a slice of grilled rustic bread (mine wasnt really. Only disappointing part of my meal).I ordered the Miso Ginger Grilled Wild Tuna (grilled raw) with glass noodle salad (Korean-style japchae) and roasted Brussels Sprouts (told they were a fan favorite and they were REALLY GREAT). Vegetarian By Necessity Review:Im really disappointed in UPs vegetarian/vegan options. Im not able to eat meat due to a genetic disorder, and I really thought that a farm to table restaurant would show off their local, freshly sourced fruits and vegetables. Sadly, that was not the case.The only protein option available to me was a Chili braised Tofu, and it was wonderfully seasoned and delicious. The broccolini was beautiful and perfectly cooked.The quinoa it was all served over was awful, though. No flavor, no seasonings or herbs, just bland and unappetizing.I paid $12 for a meal, and half of it was really inedible.Great atmosphere, lovely decor, but not many options for herbivores, despite being farm to table.Im the granddaughter of farmers, and I can definitely say this is more table than farm, or it would have more choices that include fresh produce. There are plenty of soups, salads, pastas, and so much more that can be made without meat(s).I hope UP reads this not as a criticism, but a way to expand their options and appeal to a larger community.

I wanted the regular steak plate but my steak was over cooked and i only got 3 slices but my boyfriend got a lot of slices and made nicely. The veggies are certainly the star, whether in the salads or the large variety of cooked. Shortly after walking in, a nice man came up and asked if wed been there before. I hadnt but my friends had. So he began to explain the different types of plates they had ie 4 up, 3 up and so on. Just before leaving I asked who the gentleman was and I was told he was the General Manager, Lee. Therefore, I give 5 stars, because first, the food was good, the broccolini seasoned just right, and because Lee was a delight and made sure we were taken care of. I know we werent the only table in the restaurant but he sure did make us feel that way. I most definitely will be back! Oh yeah, their drinks are the perfect mix of refreshing!

I think they should rename this place “Urban Waits” the past two times I have ordered the Cobb salad at 11:55 am, first time received my order after 30 minutes. On 2-15-23, I was there for my last time, after ordering my food at 11:55 and waiting until 12:35, I went to the register and was told my order was lost in the system. So, save some time and go elsewhere.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to this restaurant. They changed how you receive food by ordering at the counter and then they will deliver to your table. I ordered an Asian Chicken salad but replaced the chicken with salmon. The salmon was warm and perfectly cooked. I chose to have my salad tossed with dressing. Great lunch!

Very reasonable prices. I have been there many times and the food has always been fresh and tasty. I highly recommend it. Parking is not a problem. There is outdoor seating and indoor. Thus is not a full service restaurant, youborfer the food on the counter then they will bring it to your table. They seem to have a lot of To-Go orders.

First time here, and loved the airy spacious dining room and lots of outdoor dining. Great menu with options for everyone. Cashier was very helpful.The food was delicious and lived up to its, from scratch claim. However the hot food was cold. I am a cook do I know how hard it is to keep food warm, but both hot meals were cold and that means that its not sitting at a correct temperature, or not heated to a correct temp. Sad as I wanted to really like this place.

Seemed like half the steak was missing, I counted 6 slices of steak and teeny tiny cup of chimichurri. I expected a bit more for the $22 price tag.

We have been fans for years. We had an especially wonderful visit there last night. The food was delicious: we love their grassfed stead, veggies, and salmon. The service was exceptional! The restaurant was very clean and attractive. There is plenty of outdoor seating with great heaters to keep you warm on a cold evening.

I like the concept a lot, in that they have a nicely diverse set of options including multiple vegetarian choices, many options are fairly healthy, and they post calorie counts for most everything. That said, the execution is inconsistent and the price seems high for what you get.We had a curry bowl ($15), a steak plate with charred broccoli and beet + goat cheese salad ($21), and two glasses of wine ($22). The curry bowl was fine, but the steak plate came without the chimichurri sauce shown in the picture, and the salad had three pea-sized drops of goat cheese. The steak was cooked to medium, but seemed to have been cooked some time ago and just reheated before serving, as it lacked the juiciness that a freshly cooked steak would have. The charred broccoli was tender, but a bit soggy and more singed than charred.The staff was very friendly but overworked, as I couldnt easily find anyone to ask about the sauce, and when we arrived at about 7p, almost all the open tables had dishes from prior diners.Net, given that you order at the counter or by app, collect your own utensils and water, and considering the overall quality of the food, spending around $70 for that dinner seemed very expensive. We will probably try some other places in the area before we return.

I wish that there was an Urban Plates in North Carolina! My fiancé and I stopped by for dinner and left impressed with both the service and quality of our meals. Our meals (steak for him, salmon for me) were tasty and well cooked. Ordering was speedy and the ambiance at this location is also stellar. We’ll certainly be back when we are in the area!

This place brings justice to my waistline. Urban plates does not discriminate against underweight (or overweight) folks. I brought my belly in for an appointment, was not disappointed. Had the spicy crispy chicken sandwich with fries subbed in for chips.Some other hot chicken sando activists would probably protest the sandwich as it might not even compare to World Famous Hotboy’s, Dave’s, Angry Chickz, or Ok Deli’s hot chicken status. But obey the spice. Own that throne. Feel the ring of fire.Urban Plates is where the underweight and overweight come to get fit. Aim for that extra medium shirt size you’ve always wanted.

The cashier ran off to make a drink did not give me my change back and then claimed that he did, which made for a sour experience. I recommend paying by credit card.

Been here numerous times over the years. Seems like it has lost its edge as of late. Food is okay and prices are high (basic lunch for two without alcohol was $66 after tax and tip). Also not impressed at the 3% surcharge for employee benefits. Im all for living wages and benefits but just raise the prices--dont make the customer feel like they have to directly pay for your obligations as an employer. We already pay tips.

This place is great! Its hard as it is dealing with the new changes for dinning. However, Urban Plates make you feel like nothing has changed. Their out door dinning is great, but even better the service! The Manger greets you when you walk in and explains the menu and the process, if unfamiliar. I really enjoyed our dinning experience, not to mention the Hummingbird cake is the BEST!
