Loved this cool spot in Irvine!I had the spicy pork Korean tacos and loved them. The portion size is excellent and the price isnt bad for this area ($9 for three tacos).The staff were fast and friendly.Ill definitely come back here again. Delicious !
The taco Tuesday is really good to try to sample the variety of flavors on that dish which would otherwise be hard to mix and match as the tacos arent a-la carte regularly. Ive tried their drink of the day and while usually delicious, is better saved for happy hours. The interior is cozy, dont bring a huge party. Almost like fancy food truck food, but better value and no need to follow on Twitter to find.
Food here is very unique and delicious! My party ordered the loaded fries, kimchi fried rice, chicken wings, tacos, and the water melon mint drink. All the dishes we ordered tasted extremely good, especially the pork belly pieces. The loaded fries were amazing, I dont think Ive ever had fries that good anywhere else. Kimchi fried rice and the tacos both had their signature pork belly bits and they added awesome flavor to both dishes. The watermelon mint drink was a special drink too, I enjoyed the taste of it.The only thing I didnt like about this visit was the service and attitude of our waitress at the bar table. She not only didnt remember to put cheese only on one of the three tacos, she also had this bad attitude like she was on her period when responding to our requests. Her service killed our experience; my review would have been 5 stars otherwise.
This place is my ace for fast and tasty meal. I can only personally speak to the Wet Burrito, because I ate it once and was hooked. The cooks there are the best and nicest folks. If your looking for food happiness and a pint, this place should be your jam.
It is painful for me to say this but I will never eat here again. I used to love the urban 3b and have had it numerous times. It was my favorite thing on their menu and today I discovered they no longer have that dish on their menu along with many others that used to be on it.The waiter recommended their new stone pot rice dish saying it was similar to the ubran 3b with purple rice which might be one of the worst meals I have eaten in a long, long time. It lacked flavor which I never expected based on my previous experiences at Urban Seoul. The combination of sticky rice with cheesy eggs made me nauseous for the rest of the day. Im really not one to write bad reviews but this was truly horrible.Side note, if youre vegan / vegetarian we were informed they are getting rid of tofu so you will no longer be able to substitute meat for tofu at this location.
The Gogi slider is bomb diggity delicious! The loaded fries is so good! The meat is tasty and love the extra jalapenos in it. The pork belly tacos wasnt too bad either, but it was a bit dry. The staffs are really nice and friendly. Superb on customer service! They serve nlimited refills on their horchata drink, which was awesome. I really enjoy eating at this hip place! Will be back again.
The Korean fusion food here is decent. I liked the kimchi fried rice a lot and I enjoy their daily juice specials. This place is very casual with a friendly atmosphere. The shop is very small compared to the Irvine Spectrum location and parking can be a hassle.
Absolutely delicious food. Compact menu in a compact space but with big flavors. Ordered their take on bibimbap - 10/10 would order again. SO good! Cant wait til Im back in Irvine to come back here.
So yummy and the waiter was very kind! So kind that we even stayed a little after closing and he still filled our waters even though it was like 15 minutes after close. The food was DELICIOUS. Try to variate the meats since too much gogi is an over whelming taste for everything. I highly recommend getting the gogi quesadilla and gogi tacos! Im definitely coming again :)
My absolute favorite restaurant in the entire world!Food (5 stars): This restaurant is a Korean/ Mexican fusion. Their food is so amazing! I always get their tacos, but this time I decided to try their Bimbimbap. Their Bimbimbap wasnt anything special. Although, the way I would describe their tacos and spicy rice cake.....they are life changing Im a very big Korean food fan so, you must try this place if you are too!Service (4 stars): Their staff is really friendly and it felt very genuine.
Pretty much tried everything for the first time on the special taco Tuesday. Left with a big belly. Wasnt feeling the kogi as much as I usually do at other places. Everything had a good kick of spice including the Elote (corn) I think it was.All in all great service and bang for the buck good food minus the long ass wait on a Tuesday.
I love this place, the people who work here are very friendly and its a great place for great food. They have a lot of interesting food choices on their menu and a good beer selection as well. I usually go in a group for taco Tuesday, they have good prices, and really tasty tacos with lots of options like spicy pork, gogi, pork belly, chicken, and tofu too. Its a fun environment to hangout with friends and eat really unique food. Its one of the best fusion places Ive been. They also have a food challenge!They have this monster burrito called the four horsemen thats around 4 pounds wrapped in two tortillas and filled with all their popular meat, chorizo fried rice, beans, kimchi and signature pineapple habanero salsa. The burrito tastes really good too, topped with nacho cheese and green onions... it was a little to big for me to finish but if you are into food challenges I think you should check it out.
Great customer service. Everything comes out hot and fresh. You cant go wrong with the Kogi quesadilla, sweet n sticky wings or pork belly fried rice. If you like spicy then you definitely found the perfect spot!
Ive come here at least 6 times already. The service is usually decentAmbience: the seating is very mismatched. Theres bar seating with benches here, stools there. There are long tables and round tables. It makes it kinda awkward if youre in a group bigger than 4. Something else that low-key bothers me is that the mirror in the restroom was placed like it was for giants. Im short so I cant event use the mirror. I guess I can overlook it (hah) since the food is good.Service: Ive usually had average to good service here. Only a couple of times were the servers kind of irritable, but I dont think it was anything I did. Theyre usually running around a lot so it might be kind of hard to get their attention, but once you do they usually bring you whatever you need. I feel almost bad for flagging them down since they seem so busy.Food: its Korean fusion food. I usually only come here during happy hour and/or for taco Tuesday since the food is kind of on the pricy side. Its about $2 for a taco on Tuesday. The pork belly and gogi are a must try. The pork belly is crispy and chewy; I recommend to eat it as soon as it comes out since it can get a little tough to eat as it cools. The gogi is on the sweeter side. I am also addicted to their lettuce wraps offered during HH. I can never remember if I like the chicken or beef lettuce wrap more so I always get one of each. The curry fries are good but they are on the salty side.
I was very disappointed. Im a foodie and love to try new things. Korean and Mexican are great cuisines; however I dont think they should be mixed together. I ordered the fried pork belly tacos with kimchi. The meat was dry, the taco shells were soggy, and kimchi with Mexican flare just didnt made it for me. My husband had the chimichanga and also a disappointment. Unfortunately first and last visit for me.
As a self described foodie, I usually plan out what restaurants to try, ahead of travel. I was looking for good pork belly tacos on a bao bun, because Id had a wonderful experience with them a couple of years ago in San Diego. My searches led me to this place. A couple of years ago a friend of mine competed on Masterchef, and there was a Bibimbap food challenge. I wasnt familiar with it, but was instantly intrigued by it as I generally love a good Asian dish. When I realized they had Bibimbap on the menu, I absolutely had to try it! Both the pork belly tacos and the Bibimbap were amazing. The flavors and textures were spot on. I only wish I could easily get this type of food in Indianapolis!

Although the food is delicious, I feel like its a little over priced. $9 for 3 tacos is a lot for how small they were (I was still hungry after). In context I am a 5 ft girl who is 100lbs so it does not take a lot to fill me up. It was a fun place to try but wont come here too often because of the price.
This location is smaller than the one in the Irvine Spectrum. The food is still as good. Give them a call to checkout the happy hour times and items. Also- they have the games on every night. Grab a drink while youre at it!
We bought Groupons for this restaurant- we found out today that they are closed for 1 month for renovations. We been there twice and no notice anywhere saying that they are closed or going to be closed. Waited and waited and knocked until someone came out to tell us. If you are going to be closed for 1 month as of May 25th, u should not be selling Groupons or have signs on the front door saying you are going to be closed for a month
The tastiest place in DJ. However, prices are pretty high. Taco specials on Tuesdays are nice as well as happy hour prices. Food is good but can add up quick.
Gogi quesadillas were a bit sweet, the meat was. The pork belly taco was interesting, but I think itd be better if the pork pieces were more tender, and maybe cooked cha shu style? Overall I enjoyed it, as eclectic as it was.
I had the grilled wet burrito and it was very flavorful. Interesting mix of Korean and Mexican. My coworker got the udon stir fry and loved it. Ill definitely be getting that next.
Urban Seoul is a great little eatery that combines Korean and Mexican street and truck food dishes to perfection. You can guzzle it all down with some of their ice cold IPA beer options. Peak lunch times will include a wait and some parking stress.
Always has excellent food. I especially love their Elote. Their happy hour specials coupled with the Taco Tuesday deal is also a big plus.
The food at this place was amazing! My group of 5 had no complaints at all. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the portion sizes were great. I definitely recommend this place!
We were meeting some friends from out of the area for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon! We wanted something nice yet still casual..Hannahs was perfect...We enjoyed excellent wine with our delicious lunch and our served Michael was attentive but not annoying!
Urban 3b is the healthiest bibimbap I ever had. Its mostly shredded vegetables, which I love. Not too much purple rice. Very tasty.
Wait staff needs to be more attentive. The food is pretty tasty. The Mexican/Korean fusion is interesting. Good happy hour specials.
3B all day. Their drink selection is great from beers to non-alcoholics drinks, its a good place to come take a break from work or chill after work or hide at when you are supposed to be at work. Staff is very friendly. Parking is insane.
I had a fried chicken sandwich and Udon. The sandwich was overly sweet and drenched in sauce, tipping the balance of flavor. The saving grace was the slaw in the sandwich. The udon was also overly sweet.
Food is excellent! Service is only okay, and the chairs are super uncomfortable! Prices arent great either, considering the small portion size in certain dishes. Drink portions are great for the price though!
This place just changed hands. The food is still good but everything about the wait staff and the atmosphere is changed, and not for the better. We used to be regulars here and now considering not continuing. The only way to explain it is cold. The service is very cold now.
Do yourself a favor and get the umami waffle fries and the 3B selection of they have it. Everything was flavorful and delicious, but those items really made then stand out.

Good food, fast and not crazy expensive (wouldnt call it cheap though). If you like fusion foods (aka put cheese on Korean food and fry everything) I recommend it.

$11 for a bowl of fried rice that is literally a bowl stuffed of veggies with 2 spoons of rice...wow. $3 for a can of soda. No flavor at all & left still hungry. SO disappointed!!!😞

2019-07-29 05:11:33Followed to my daughter recommendation, we finally decided to stop by this trendy restaurant in Irvine Spectrum Center for lunch. This place has a very good location and surrounded by other high ended restaurants in the area. This restaurant was very popular with different kinds of customers from young to Middle Ages folks. We ordered calamari, chicken popcorn, overload potatoes, and myself a bowl of spicy dry Udon. The foods looked very delicious and tempting, but for me, they were so salty and even the sauces. Overall, I would give the foods a B-, but the services were outstanding and pleasant. They also have happy hours at this place. The seating, they have outside or inside the restaurant whichever youre preferred. Hopefully, I will be back to try out the different dishes next time with the recommendation of a lighter salt on my places.

2020-02-18 21:19:07Went here for a work lunch. Only one person was taking orders and handling drinks, while there were 2 others in the kitchen, so the wait was a little longer than expected. That being said, when the food finally came it was well worth the wait. Youll definitely want to try the wings, they are sweet and spicy! The tacos were also excellent. Will definitely be back here again to try the different teas they have!

2018-04-29 19:44:18Greasy chicken noodle, bibimbap more satisfying and diverse ingredients; reasonably big portions for a $13 bowl. The pork belly sliders are small. None of those accompanying pickled plates for free. Great service and outdoor seating. The big 21oz bottles of Asahi are $7. $12 loaded fries are prolly not worth it but they taste good.

Didn’t know what to order on my first trip, so got some recommendations - I decided upon the chorizo & kimchi fried rice with crispy pork belly... very tasty and would’ve ordered another if not already full. It’s a good spot with great service if you’re in a hurry for lunch.

This is the first Urban Seoul location to open up (another one is located at the Irvine Spectrum Shopping Center). Located in the Diamond Jamboree Plaza, this Asian Fusion restaurant is relatively smaller than the Spectrum location, but it is DJ, so the parking situation is ever so present.Food ordered:1. Chorizo Kimchi Fried Rice: 4/5 -I expected to see/taste chorizo sausage bits in the kimchi fried rice, but I think the chorizo part may be more of the flavoring of the dish overall. Instead, I did notice chunks of pork belly (maybe they ran out of chorizo?). The kimchi fried rice portion of the dish is interesting since it does not actually contain kimchi, rather, the kimchi sour and spicy flavor and color is immersed in the rice. Overall, the Chorizo Kimchi Fried Rice was yummy, just not what I expected from the menu item name and description.2. Korean Pork Belly Tacos: 5/5 -Out of all the meats available: Pork Belly, Gogi, Spicy Pork, Grilled Chicken, and Tofu, my friend, who has been here before, enjoyed the pork belly the most. The tacos were 2 corn tortillas, stuffed with pork belly chunks, romaine lettuce, kimchi, and drizzled with a spicy mayo/house sauce. There was a lot of flavors in the tacos and they nicely complemented each other.

2017-02-04 03:43:35A pretty crowded place to eat on a Friday night.Looking over the menu, a meal here will cost you $10 or less. Though if you are looking for a low-glycemic meal here, please avoid!Had the chicken katsu sandwich the stir-fry udon bowl. The katsu tasted like it was fried in old oil. Gross! There was so much sauce in the sandwich the buns were pretty much mush.The udon was a nice chewy texture and the pieces of pork meat were juicy but the gravy for the stir fry was just too sugary - not enough savory! A dash of soy sauce and curry powder would liven up this udon. Definitely was not expecting each dish to taste so sugary sweet!Presentation was beautiful but these two dishes in my opinion were not well-balanced and savory enough.By the way, their restroom decor is quite interesting. I was especially amused at their soap dispenser attached to the sink. It was nothing but decor! The free standing, modern dispenser next to the fake had a broken nozzle.Each pump of the nozzle oozed pink soap down the front of the bottle.At least the paper supplies are well stocked.
