Nice clean location. Arrived at 4pm on Wednesday and it wasn’t too busy. There were tables inside for sitting available. The staff was friendly, the kitchen was clean and the food was delicious.

Ricardo was such a good manager and had such great customer service, I had a issue, ordered a sandwich without cheese and it was cold, so he took it and made a fresh one, apologized and then gave me a cookie, and they way he did is was honestly some of the best customer service I have seen in some time now, 5 STAR PLUS!!!!! Great job Ricardo thanks for making my experience feel very pleasant and hassle free!Blessings

The service here was amazing our cashier Tucker was really nice and helped answer our questions. The service was quick and efficient our food was brought to us in less then 5 minutes. The Baja bowl was delicious.

This casual cafe is absolutely wonderful. The menu is a great lunch stop and items that encompass everyone. The breads are baked fresh, and cookies at the counter are just a magnet. The staff is super friendly, and the service is quick and attentive.

I ordered the ahi tuna bowl which I must say was good but I have a problem. What I received was not what was pictured. Instead of receiving ahi tuna with rice & kale, there was no rice, and instead of kale, arugula. All the rest of the ingredients were there. They also added avacado. Im not displeased with the change, although I was mostly intrigued with this dish because it is pictured with rice. However, my biggest problem is the lack of communication that came with this dish. Gladly Im not allergic to avocado and actually like it. But the changes and replacements and lack of ingredients shouldve been communicated. It seemed so sneaky for the host to hand me my food in a personable way but not disclose that I wouldnt be receiving the exact order pictured. That bothers me a lot.

Upscale sandwich shop with decent food. I really enjoyed the tortilla soup, but everyone in our group agreed that the bread seemed too dense for our tastes. Overall opinion of everyone was that it was okay food, but nothing outstanding.

My daughter just ordered online and had it delivered. She ordered the SoCal sandwich and while eating a long red hair was in it, obviously she lost her appetite. If you are working with food you should have your hair pulled back and with a hairnet.

We eat here at least 3 times per week. Their whole staff is very helpful and friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious. I always look forward to dinner here. Chris and Martin (as well as everybody else) are great employees and always make sure our specialized order is taken care of. Great place for a healthy lunch or dinner. Thanks!

We have been going to Urbane Cafe for many years. We were happy when they opened a new location on Gonzales Road in Oxnard. We enjoy the freshness and quality of their food. The staff are great, and we eat there, or pick up to go food 2-3 times a month. In the last 8 months when we order the Cafe Salad we’ve been wondering why we are paying for a salad that has mostly lettuce with a fair amount of chicken, but hardly any, or none of the Feta cheese, pear slices, walnut pieces, or avocado slices. I spoke to the general manager about it one evening and he said corporate had just informed them that they could start adding more of the pears, avocado, etc. to the salads. I told him that was good, because we had decided we weren’t going to pay full price for a chicken and lettuce salad with little or nothing else in it. He assured me that was going to change. Well, It’s been the same for months now. Picked up two Cafe Salads tonight, hoping for the best, and it was chicken and lettuce, 2 tiny pieces of pear and avocado, no walnuts or feta cheese. Nothing has changed. Will be getting salads where we get what we pay for. Other than the salad, everything else we order there is good.

I love this chain. I am always satisfied with the taste and quality of my meals. My children also enjoy eating here, most of the time not caring that I have selected some of the healthier items for them. I only wish they had more indoor seating for peak hours. Otherwise, great overall!

I would give them zero stars if I could. I ordered thru Door dash many times and this order is the 4th time Urbane cafe messed up our order! I like their food usually (when they get our order correctly) Its almost impossible to call the store and talk to a live person. The store offered to give me my next order free but since there wont be a next Iorder,we we opted to pick up the order. Im upset because we already paid a Door dash fee yet still have the inconvenience of having to pickup our order. Oh and the cookies were ordered were over cooked/hard. Im taking my business elsewhere!!

Really good salad and atmosphere outside. Enjoyed the flavors and how large it was for the price. My boyfriend got the chipotle sandwich and he downed it!Marked off a stars because, a woman ordering took easily 5-7 minutes with a few people behind her. She had a lot of questions, her Mom was confused, kids had McDonalds at a table already. It took a few people behind us to get someone else to take our orders and when we asked where to put our plates (outside didn’t have a spot) the woman told us shortly we were “supposed” to put them above the trash cans but, she “could” take them.

I placed my order through GrubHub. I placed exactly what I wanted and when I received my food I didnt get what I ordered. I called them I got yelled at by Noemi. She told me it was my fault so I said OK my bad. I hung up and looked at my receipt and realized she was wrong. She didnt even call me back to let me know she was wrong but when I called back she let me know she was wrong and she told me the only thing she could do was give me a free bag. Im allergic to vinegar and tried to explain it to her but she told me it wasnt her problem. I also tried to speak to the manager Chris who also didnt seem to care. Awful customer service.

Sandwiches are good but their protein salad with pumpkin seeds is amazing. It definitely makes the list of foods I could eat every day. Lots of chicken and the cilantro dressing make this salad really filling and for less than $10 definitely worth it.

This is the best location around, compared to the Ventura and Camarillo locations! Their customer service is great, theyre friendly, clean, and food is delicious. The only complaint I have is the cookies have been getting smaller and smaller, but I think its the company, not this location. Please bring back the big cookies! I LOVE this place. Yes, it is constantly busy and finding a table is hard. Yes, prices arent cheap. But this place is great. I always get the mango jicama salad with mango miso dressing and have never had anything other than that. It is delicious, fresh and just never gets old. If you are looking for a quick, cheap place, dont come here. If you want something delicious and something that isnt fast food, this is your place.

I dont really like fast food restaurants so when Urbane Cafe opened here I was super happy! I either order the SoCal or the Santa Maria BBQ Chicken Salad. It is soooo good!!!I go so much I dont really have to keep giving my name when ordering. When you get your order I recommend you ask for some Chipotle Ranch. It is omg amazing! Tastes so good with either your sandwich or salad. I rarely order food from anywhere else because I always look forward to getting my food from here.I think I might be too in love with the food... The employees are really amazing too. Great attitudes, friendly, they work hard everyday as everytime I go it is always packed with customers.Obviously by now it wouldnt be a surprise for me to say that I highly recommend you checking this place out :)
