Vallarta Supermarkets in Bakersfield

First time in the Rosedale Location it was clean, organize and colorful. Love the Bakery section smells so good and the food section have wide variety to choose. I ordered take home pupusa and Caldo De Res the staff are very nice to me. I was excited to eat some Caldo de Res but the 2 beef she gave me are all fat and Gristle I have to pick very little meat so I was disappointed. Thats why I just gave 4 Star. But the strawberry drink was delicious and the sweets is yummy. Pupusa is also good. I still go back to try different food.

Parking can be a little crazy sometimes, the lot is clean. All the departments are clean, neatly stocked. LOVE getting cakes from the bakery and pastries. Tamales are always good, theyre hot and prepared food is affordable and delicious. The seating area was clean and spacious for its size. There is a good variety of fruits and vegetables in produce. its clean and organized. I love the candy corner near the produce. The meat department never disappoints prices and great. Love getting the deep fried fish too.

Very clean, well stocked huge supermarket. I love Vallarta and this is a brand new store. They have everything you will need.I bought some basic needs, chicken, soft drinks and avocados-great prices, but what I was after was their restaurant style kitchen ( Covina). They have wonderful Mexican food here.I bought a family style (feeds 3-4 people) order of their carnitas, it comes with rice, beans, tortillas and salsa. Just finished dinner, it was excellent.

Called serveal times to talk to bakery they kept disconnecting me and I asked a question (do I make full or part payment to order the cake) and they said they dont know and try to transfer me again! They hung up. When I called finally got some one (to see if they have a character for a cake)they said they had it went to store for them to tell me they dont have have it!!! Lame

I would give this Place 100 Stars. There Bakery is the First thing I smell when I walk in. It brings in a Good smell. There Bakery is really Good. I love how fresh there Guacamole is. There Ice Cream is to Die for. Along with that, they have great staff too.

Love coming to Vallarta but this one is really nice. Employees so nice and helpful. Produce is fresh. Havent been disappointed with the meat. Their agua fresca stand is so tasty and their items in their food stations looks so inviting. Thanks for bringing this store so close to us

Came to buy milk at this Vallarta and the milk was expired… they still have it in the refrigerator. Just watch out with this product.

Vallarta has put the Super back in food shopping for N/W Bakersfield. A bit more expensive, but a super wide selection of fresh food and standard market products.

They dont soak there beans overnight it made me gassy refried or not dont buy the beans that are made totally ruined my girlfriend’s bathroom she will never be with me again because it seeped out the cracks in the door entered the a/c shaft and almost killed everyone in the kitchen it’s totally unholy what happened im scarred for life and so are her parents thanks vallarta what could have been a good nite turned into hell itself
