Went to Valley Pizzeria for the first time after wheeling at a nearby offroad park. My intent was to find the most hole in the wall pizza place I could because Im not a fan of franchise pizza. This place definitely checks that box.-As we entered the restaurant, we got a throwback kind of vibe (its a good thing).-The menu has a good selection of pizza styles and other items, yet its not complex.-We ordered a large Carnivore Pizza along with some of their bone in wings (honey Sriracha if I remember correctly).-we were seated and promptly received our order of wings. The wings were phenomenal. They werent undercooked like at other places. Even though the wings had sauce, you could still feel the crisp on the skin as you bit into them. Safe to say they were well done but not overcooked. (Perfect)-The pizza was brought to the table almost immediately after we received the wings. Just by looking at it, we knew the pizza was gonna be just as good as it looked. The crust had a golden texture along with a few burn bubbles, the meats had a crispy rim surrounding the edges. The cheese consistency looked like it was just enough cheese (not too much, not too little), and when we picked up a slice, the pizza didnt flop! It had a nice rigid structure. The undercarriage was crusty and crunchy while maintaining the same texture throughout the crust. When you bit into it, the toppings didnt slide off all over the place, and there was a nice and subtle crunch! The pie itself was a bit larger than your typical large pie at a franchise place. One thing I recommend if youre taking the pizza home is to reheat it in an air fryer at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. Itll come out just a bit crunchier but will still taste as if it was fresh. If you heat it in a microwave, youll have soggy crust and a chewy pizza.Overall, this hole in the wall pizza place was a hit! We will definitely be going back after every wheeling trip. This review may seem long, but if you love pizza the way I do, youll understand that a pie has to have certain characteristics to qualify as a true, made with a purpose pizza.

Had the Korean BBQ chicken pizza. Wow this was good. Was not sure how tomato sauce, sesame oil, and Korean BBQ sauce were going to work together but wow it really works. The chicken was great too. I highly recommend trying this pizza. Especially if you are looking for something more adventurous

Super good pizza! Everything, from the delicious crust to the generous amount of fresh toppings, was incredible. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!

We ordered the Hot BBQ Chicken pizza with bacon, pineapple, and jalapeno on regular crust. This pizza did not disappoint at all- very tasty and has some heat. We really liked the fried ravioli with ranch dipping sauce. The outer coating tasted like jalapeno poppers. The service was also great. The same cashier stopped by our table to check on us. When we first came in, we were greeted by 2 employees: the cashier and someone on their break. I recommend this pizza joint, and I dont really like pizza places.

Its decent pizza place, not sure Id go out of my way to come here, but if youre in Hollister its probably the best option.

Horrible. Under cooked crust (every time). Boring flavorless sauce. Totally over priced for Dominos quality.

I love their combo pizza (the taste of their sausage is DIVINE), fried pickles, fried mozzarella sticks r so big and yummy…just don’t order the Margerhita pizza here. There was such a minimal amount of lives of mozzarella but worse, it smelled/tasted like wine. I appreciate the sauce may have been made from scratch (it’s not the same as the marinara served with the mozzarella sticks), but they did not cook the alcohol out of that red sauce. I’ll call the manager and let him know for Quality Assurance sake, I’ll modify this post if it was a one time thing. Honestly the best Margherita pizza is in Boulder Creek East of Santa Cruz on Hwy 9, before u reach Big Basin SP…

Used to love coming here, i would come here at least once a week since like 2020 to get a spicy southwestern calzone but the last 5 times Ive gotten one the bacon has been undercooked like still chewy, i understand a miss every now and then but 5 times in a row? Ive mostly stopped coming here because of that hopefully the owner will address this with the cooks.05/08/23 Update: Had a calzone recently and this time it was great, the bacon was perfect. Owner says it comes pre cooked so perhaps its just luck of the draw but this time it was very good. Fried ravioli were good too!
