Vegetarian House - Vegan in San Jose

First time i tried this restaurant and for sure it was my last.probably my expectation was high when u see all the good reviews.I ordered 2 dishes from the menu for pick up from the app, when they say it ready i got notifications that its ready which mean the restaurant need to press on a button to make this to happen, happily arrives to the pick up window though the order is not ready!asked 3 time by 3 different personas about my order and all the time its not ready.i waited almost 30 min for my food.but wait, why my food is cold if its not ready?! Not only i needed to give it a warm it doesnt have any real flavor to it .i just gave up that night for this food and i know my experience will be the last one at this place.

I visited the restaurant with a friend of mine for lunch. I ordered a dish with mushrooms, broccoli and tofu with a side of brown rice. It was delicious, the perfect amount, not too salty. My friend ordered a Thai curry dish that he found not too flavorful (I liked it:)).All the items on the menu are vegan. The lady who worked that day was super nice and kind, she checked with everyone if they were happy with their food.

I used to eat here when I used to live in San Jose probably 25 years ago. This place is very good Vietnamese inspired Foods. Some of the menu has changed but its a good place to check out if youre in the area. I believe the whole place is vegan now it used to be just vegetarian

Was disappointed the fresh pressed juices were no longer offered, but my food was so wonderful it didnt matter. Tangerine kombucha was a great stand-in.Had Majestic Mango and Wonton soup, a vegan first for me. Tried the wild, brown, white combo rice and liked very much.The juice at the end of the mango salad was ambrosia: sweet, tart, bright and just slightly acidic.Todu Wontons go down fast :)

I came to the restaurant when it is not full service yet. We got the seat outside. The food arrived in paper bowls and plates. The dishes we ordered are crispy rice and hotpot. So the presentation are missing. As I tasted the food, I thought the food is too bland. However, as I ate more and more, it becomes more flavorful. I feel satisfied and clean by the end of the meal. So please take your time to enjoy healthy food lol. A good place for vegetarian/vegan or someone who wants to cleanse their body with clean food.

I have visited this place for years and the food is always amazing! 5 starts for the food and services!This is one of the best if not the best vegan places in Bay Area. They have a wide variety of foods and all is well balanced with species (not too hot).The service is always prompt and pleasant!They still dont have inside seating and have only outside covered patio. It can be hot outside in the summer and cold in the winter. They have been remodeling since the pandemic, but thats some time ago already.I would still come here as the food is just so good! ;)

Love the food here. They were remodeling the inside of the restaurant. So only outside tables but they have an awning so there’s shade. And they have heaters because in April it was cold.

Please do not support this business. Terrible food. And yet another vegan restaurant that supports the Supreme Master / Ching Hai cult. Research it. True Buddhists do not support her. (Many of the 5-star reviews are fake.) There are better vegan restaurants out there.
