Really quaint mom n pop, vegetarian eatery in a convenient location! Only picked up some sesame balls and turnip cake to pair w my Gong Cha🧋, perfect snack! Their house made hot chili oil was delish too. Will be back to try more of their diverse menu! Tip: use their website if ordering takeout!

The portion sizes are really generous, so if youre dining here for two, three dishes should be plenty. You will have leftovers, unless you have a huge appetite or are both 68 strongmen.I did not know that salt and pepper pumpkin would taste this good. Easily the best dish that we ordered. It was salty, sweet, and there was a bit of heat. The wonton soup was alright. It wasnt my favorite, but I did enjoy the two bowls that I had.The vegetable chow mein was pretty good, albeit lacking a little in flavor. My friend suggested adding chili oil (which is provided free of charge), and that definitely gave it a much-needed boost.Service was quick and excellent.I will be back soon, hopefully for more salt and pepper pumpkin.

Veggie Lee’s could just be named Lee’s because you would not guess the menu items are vegetarian/vegan! We ordered the salt and pepper pumpkin for starters and the sesame chicken and beef and green bean sautee plate for main. All menu items are prepared without onion and garlic - we were concerned at first but this made the food refreshing to taste. The sesame chicken was very close to chicken taste and texture, which had us fooled. The salt and pepper pumpkin was like tempura pumpkin. The portions are big and we had plenty of leftovers! There is dine in seating but noticed most order food to go.

Absolutely delicious and I will definitely be back (and I’m not vegan). My cousin is vegan and visiting from out of town. We gave this spot a try and are now addicted! We will definitely be coming back happily. We got the general tsao chicken, chao fried rice, egg plant & tofu, and they gave us the sweet and sour soup on the house. Everything was delicious and my favorite was the chao fried rice it has a good char from the wok the chicken was second best. I would honestly reorder everything again.Their homemade chili oil was a hit too which you can buy to go. Check this spot out regardless if you’re vegan or not.

Food was pretty good! Service is great. The young lady who took our order was very helpful, sweet, and patient. They worked with us in removing and adding ingredients from certain dishes. Flavor was 👌🏻 if they would just add garlic to their dishes, it would enhance the flavor a lot!…but besides that, food here is definitely worth trying 🤗

After reading reviews we came to eat here. The reviews are all hyped. My husband & I were the only 2 diners in the restaurant. There was bland food served with no salt, no pepper, no hot sauce. No taste of any kind. When I asked for hot sauce- see the picture- this is what I got (1 tsp). When I asked for one more hot sauce- the lady on the counter started making faces and talking in their language; similar thing when asked for forks- as no forks were given to us.One more thing- no water/ drink was served. They like to go customers and do not want in restaurant diners- I guess.Go somewhere else.

I was so excited to have Vegan food so close by where I live but I’m super dissatisfied. I got the food to go which included 1 appetizer and 1 entree with no sides. I did flinch a bit when they told me the total was $42 but I assumed the food would be delicious. However it was awful. Way to salty and the meat substitute they use tasted weird like it was old. I had vegan orange chicken which was served over broccoli which didn’t pair well. The broccoli was ok but the vegan chicken was gross so could only take a couple of bites. It was dry, seasoned poorly, and very chewy, The presentation was average at best. Not worth the price at all I will not be back. 😞

The food here is delicious! Im not vegetarian, but I came to eat here with my veg family members, and all of us enjoyed it thoroughly. Ive eaten at quite a few vegetarian chinese places in the bay area, and this one tops the list! The portion sizes are great, and the wait staff are prompt, helpful, and patient. Some reviewers Ive noticed have complaints about the dining space which is small (only 6 tables) and shares the space with the take-out counter. I will caution that the atmosphere is nowhere near fine dining, so dont come expecting that. Just a wonderful small family-owned Chinese restaurant.
