We went on Friday night with our 8 month old grandson. The place was busy, but they were incredibly friendly and nice. Had us seated right away, service was fantastic. Our food came quickly, it was wonderful, portions were big at a great price. They were attentive and kept our grandson laughing and smiling. Well be back again and again

We stopped into Victorias Mexican Restaurant on the way back from hiking. This was our first time here and it wasnt very busy. The customer service was outstanding. Our waitress actually sat down with us to discuss the menu and make some recommendations.The food was good and very filling. We had a shredded beef taco salad and a beef fajita platter.Well stop back in another day.Need to add that this place is family owned and operated since 1983. That speaks highly to the service level. You cant last that long without doing it right.
Very average tasting food for the price!Nothing was exceptional and all the ingredients in three dishes were exactly the same. The service was suspiciously too quick and justifying the basic bland dishes you can see in the photos.Only good thing served were the different flavors of margaritas. Restaurant was clean and decorated.Rating: 2.5/5

This is a landmark in Gilroy for a reason. Food is always great, service is always top notch, and I always enjoy coming here. The Margaritas 🍹 were incredible as well. We enjoyed a rainy night thanks to Victorias!

When you decide to come to a restaurant not only the food is important, the staff, the environment, the workers and specialy how you are treated is involved. So the lady who is in charge of the service area which is responsible for all this is Very But very Rude . I will never come back to this location again.. sorry but it was my last time.
We stopped here as we drove through the area and really loved the food, vibe and family atmosphere. Owners and staff were delightful and made us feel like family. The entrees were generously portioned and well seasoned! (we couldn’t finish although our taste buds begged us to!!)Highly recommend!

First off the people who own this place and work here are very friendly. I only gave 3 stars because when they have karaoke nights, its a nightmare. Tiny, extremely loud and cramped. The food very bland. I think the ingredients are good quality, just bland recipes.So if you or someone with you cant or wont eat spicy foods, and you like karaoke so loud you cant hear or talk, youll like this place.Hat tip to the server we had last time...he is a really good server. I thought he was channeling his inner wolverine, but actually hes a mega Elvis fan. We really liked him.
We love this place. Very small, limited seating but very family oriented. Everyone that works there is super friendly. They treat you like you are part of their family. The food is excellent. My only complaint is their limited spirits selection and no beers on draft, but that is not a deal breaker. We will keep going back and always recommend to our friends and family.
My mother in law picked up some food from here the other day. It wasnt great. My brother ten dollar burrito was suppose to have meat but it was mostly rice and sour cream. If you are gonna pay ten dollars for a burrito show some love in making it. My mother in law asked about the prices when she got there. Thought this place was pricey. The waiter said well we have to make a living! Looks like we wont be going back here. Over priced and no love in making the food. Refund please.
Great tasty Mexican food. Their salsa is delicious. We had enchiladas, soft tacos, chili rellenos and burritos. All were outstanding. Definitely will visit again.There were also some good singers at the karaoke for nice entertainment.

Victorias is a small town family run business! The atmosphere is very friendly and cozy. They make us feel like we are part of the family when we visit the restaurant for a meal! The food is absolutely wonderful and always comes to the table fast and fresh. I have moved out of Gilroy. But, I always make it to Victorias for a meal while visiting!

Pretty good food. The soup is very good. The soft tacos are very good. The service...well, if you light yourself on fire you might get some attention. But if any of the helps friends are anywhere in the area, youll be waiting a while for a refill on you drink(s).

Delicious carnitas enchiladas with verde sauce. Fairly priced and always fresh. Ive never eaten in the restaurant, always picked up to take home and Ive always received my order completely accurate. Which I love. Also, you might notice its always packed, good sign. Theres a reason.

There is absolutely nothing healthy on this menu. I take that back - there might be a salad. My dining partner who doesnt order food according to how good for you it is really likes this place.

Welcome to Victoria’s!”. This was my first time going there, but my parents went there already. They were about to lock the doors, but they let us stay and eat. I ordered a Quesadilla, my brother ordered the chicken tacos, my dad ordered chille verde and my step mom got enchiladas. Within a few minutes, they took our order. Within another 10 minutes our food arrived steaming hot and really really really really tasty !!! The only thing I wish that there was at this place was longer business hours (aka open until 9 or 10) because then I do not have to worry about the time I get there at. Also, the guy who ownes the place is an Elvis impersonator and he’s really kind and funny.
Simply the best in Gilroy! Family owned and operated for as long as I can remember. Food is amazing and dish sizes are plentiful. Great atmosphere and overall one of my favorite places to eat.
Nothing special going on here. Just okay Mexican food. Nobody in the kitchen has pride. Just get the orders out and go home. I had chili Verde. Sofie had some kind of a burrito that was dry and not much flavor.

THIS PLACE. Oh man, the staff was beyond friendly and inviting despite our mix-up on their hours (an hour off, right before closing but they wouldnt let us leave!) and Im so glad we stayed. It was beyond delicious and Id tell everyone to go right then if they hadnt locked the doors behind us!
Delicious Mexican food! They gave us chips and salsa. We got potato skins for the appetizer, and they had a white cheese, tomatoes and jalapenos. It also came with sour cream and guacamole. Everything was fresh and homemade. It was not from the freezer. Then I had the fajita salad with shrimp. It was excellent-- so flavorful. The shrimp was cooked well. My group also got the chicken tacos with pico de gallo, the Chile relleno and Chile verde burrito, and the Chile Colorado plate. We were all very happy with the dishes. I would eat here again and I would recommend it!

2023-08-06 02:24:38This place is amazing. I just finished eating here and the food was great and the atmosphere was like being in the kitchen of a family member. Our server was Carmen and she did amazingly even when the restaurant was busy. We also had a young man assist us and I did not catch his name but he was just as fantastic. Everyone here was great and it seemed as of there were many repeat customers as a lot of tables seemed to know the staff.

Everything I ordered was very fresh and not overly seasoned like some places do to cover up cheap meat. Definitely would come back.

Our waitress was giving me and my family attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. The food may look “mexican” but nothing is actually mexican like or anything close to it. It’s overpriced, the waitress even said to my family “You guys aren’t from here.”. It seemed so racist. It’s all messy.

2023-11-15 22:11:03We always make a point of going to Victorias when we are in Gilroy to visit family. Great family owned restaurant. Servers are always jovial and provide great service. Chips and salsa are always fresh and tasty. I typically order carnitas tacos or salad. The carnitas are moist, well seasoned and crispy on the outside. I highly recommend Victorias.
