Stopped by for lunch, thinking it was convenient and quick, especially since I was only ordering a Bahn min sandwich. They took roughly 25 min(literally my entire lunch) to make a pork sandwich that costs $12... yes, $12... a Bahn min sandwich that expensive has to be worth trying. I was wrong. The sandwich did not have any paste or condiments at all, which made the sand extra dry. On top of that, I didnt get to enjoy much for lunch due to the time it took to have it ready. The time I dont mind but $12 for a typical sandwich. Just go somewhere else if you want a sandwich, other places cost less and taste a lot better.

Hands down one of the best Vietnamese food spots in Sacramento. They take it seriously. All their meats are marinated, their tofu is perfectly crispy. Bread is always amazing. Been coming here awhile and Ive never been disappointed.

Ordered lunch here and it was delicious. The wings were nice and crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. The sirloin Bánh mì sandwiches were delicious with fresh French rolls. The lemonade was refreshing with just the right amount of sweet. I will definitely be returning to try more of their food.

This is a to go place only. You slip your payment through a slot in a door. Ordered the chicken banh mi paired with Vietnamese style coffee. The sandwich was delicious. Very generous helping of meat and just enough toppings.

Been coming to Viet Ha since they opened it up.Kind of sucks that you can only get to go, but do not let that steer you away from ordering from here.Their portions are big when it comes to the boxes and Bahn MI, food quality is great as well!I recommend the noodle box with any protein make it spicy with the vingarette sauce aka fish sauce lol. Side of egg rolls and salt pepper wings is fire as well.Annie and the crew have always provided top notch service and are easy to talk to.Tip: call ahead when they are busy orders do get backed up but its worth the wait.

The food is excellent, the services excellent. Theres not much of atmosphere, its total. Take out theres no way to sit to eat there, which Im fine with it. It is handicap friendly.There are no public bathrooms.

Just tried this place for the first time! It was lunch hour so there was a line out the door, but I called in my order so my food was ready by the time I got to the register. The pork Bahn Mi is delicious, plenty of meat and overall good portion! I will definitely go back!

I literally went here every day for an entire week. The food is fresh and fast and what I consider to be a total value. I phone my order and ride my bike over. The salt and pepper wings are delicious and I love the noodle bowl with chicken and a vinaigrette sauce. They have gained a customer for life. It’s amazing how such a small establishment can provide such high-quality food and service to their guests.

Banh Mis are pricey starting at 6.99. Service great. We ordered the wings snack with 5 wings for 6.99 and I ordered it non battered with aalt and pepper. It was WAY TOO SALTY! We also got grilled pork banh mi and The grilled pork was not flavorful in the banh mi and the vermicelli. Thankfully, the banh mis are filled nice and full with veggies as they do not skimp! Just average.

Viet ha has very tasty simple items like their rice or noodles salad bowls. They have the base bowl with different meat choices or fried tofu that is good too. It is a decent price for the amount of food you get and tastes pretty good. They also have some standard fried appetizers and interesting drinks with grass jelly etc. During covid they are only doing to go and have a safe ordering system through the door.

It was my first time here and gotta say i really enjoyed the food and service. As you walk in there is a counter that you order from, food takes about 10 min or so because everything is made to order and done fresh. I got rice bowl with pork and shrimp. The dish is packed with meats and veggies which I really like it was worth every penny Ill be sure to come back.

What can I say about Viet Ha, I love the owners, Kenny & Annie are the reason I come back. They greet me once I walk in, like Im family and you cant ask for a warmer welcome. Next..the food is amazing, if I can eat Tofu the rest of my life I would eat, Spicy Tofu bento box. Try everything honestly, they have everything for Vegetarian and Meat eaters.Look, dont take my word for it, just go try. Tell them I sent, the Event Planner..Enjoy the food.

We ordered grilled pork and tofu vermicelli . The noodle was just ok. I would expect the tofu to be grilled but it was fried. Also there isn’t any peanuts which is the key ingredient for vermicelli. took they about 20 mins to make them while we are only customers in there. The sandwiches was good but a bit pricy.

Im so spoiled living in Southern California where the most amount of Vietnamese community is located. We eat Vietnamese every few days, noodle soup. And egg role, spring rolls. So sorry but this restaurant doesnt match the authenticity Im used to. Hmmm their egg rolls were Chinese! Huh? I mean not the small Vietnamese style instead they were huge Chinese egg roles. Again sorry, but heaps of MSG in the soup. Maybe you will think my review is wrong, hope so. I do not like giving negative reviews. My best to the hard working owners of this restaurant.

There is no dine-in option any longer and you order at an impersonal door now. Used to dine there w fams but on my last attempt I didnt wait in line since it took too long. The food takes about 25 mins minimum and waiting on Broadway trying not to get hit by traffic to take home food doesnt work unless you live close.

I got the chicken banh mi and it was good…although a friend told me the spread was made out of pork liver aka pâté…it’s not advertised as such on the menu, and to be honest, I never knew that was in the spread lol. They also don’t do a good job of telling you it’s pork if you get a chicken or beef banh mi. The places I’ve always gone to used vinaigrette or something else in place of it. I would definitely ask them to take out the spread if you do not eat pork (like myself, I still ate it, but I’m a tad upset about it not going to lie). I’ll give them the extra stars when they make it a little more obvious that the spread is pork liver 🥴 because the chicken was so good and flavorful!!!!! Guess I need to be more cautious now 🙄. Otherwise, the lemonade I got was REALLY GOOD! I like that it wasn’t too sweet or sour.

This place is GREAT! Its a little place off Broadway. Simple food, but tasty. My sister introduced me, but I would definitely go back on my own. I had their grilled chicken meal served with a salad with all of their fixings and they have two salad dressings you can pick from. I had the lighter color one. You also have a choice I believe of noodles or rice and I think there is a vegetarian dish too. Honestly, you just need to check it out. Parking is in the back or on the street in front. Get there early as it appears to be busy. Try their salad with all the fixings. I dont think you can go wrong with either salad dressing. Throw in some grilled protein and its a party!

Liked this place from my first visit years ago. Staff is friendly, it is fresh and a good value. You customize your box to your liking. Parking can be challenging, have never stayed to eat but there are several tables if you wish to stay and eat.

This is a great little spot right off the main road. From the outside, it looks pretty unassuming, because they’re only tables limited up to 14 people. They also have a bar that stretches from the front to the back, but really hits you is when you walk in you can smell how delicious the food is. We came on a Friday right at noon time, and it was very busy. The ambience feels very hole in the wall, and while they don’t sell any far, the food makes it worth it.The menu is very intuitive – you either get to choose from a salad, a bowl, rice, or banh mi. Then you get to choose what protein do you want with your meal. I chose to get the pork meal with noodles. It comes with all the fixings of vegetable sides, so it does feel healthier than just eating pure meat.The food was quite delicious. I love how the savoriness of the meet is offset by the pickled vegetables. Whats really great is how filling the meal is for less than $10. Veggies were crisp and had a great bite. What was even crispier were the eggrolls and chicken wings. I was so full that I took half of it to go for a snack later.

Love this place!!! The food is so fresh and delicious, the service it friendly and quick. But seating is limited, Ive never seen it super busy for dine-in, there are only about 4 or 5 tables with a long bar stool seating area along one wall. No booths. Highly recommend this place :)

If I could give 0 stars, I would. There was only one person that ordered ahead of us and virtually no one else in the place. We ordered a sandwich and it took almost twenty minutes. There were three people in the kitchen (two of them just standing around) and they didn’t even start our order until they had the one before ours out. They didn’t even need to cook anything! Once they finally started our order it took them less than two minutes to assemble. Horrible service!

Thought this was a full menu type restaurant but its a make your own (Chipotle style) dish. You choose your protein, noodles or rice, it comes with all the garnishments that you can opt out of. They also have a Banh Mi sandwich which you can choose your own protein, eggrolls, and cream cheese wontons. Small menu, but what they have is delicious.We were really in the mood for a sit down, waiter type meal but glad that we decided to stay and try this place out. The woman at the register was so nice and friendly and wanted to make sure we liked our meal because we didnt finish it and asked for to go boxes. The portion size is fairly large and the price was great. We got 2 lychee drinks, a sandwich, noodles, and eggrolls all for $24 and we both have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Will absolutely be back!

Go to modern Vietnamese restaurant serving rice and noodle bowls. It is NOT like the typical Vietnamese restaurant located on Stockton Blvd. Good place to go for quick bowls and fast service. Its the chipotle of Vietnamese food. Choose your own meat, noodle or rice, and sauce to build your own bowl. The food was good and didnt feel heavy. I wish I lived closer to eat here more often.Its small, so seating might be a problem especially around lunch time. Parking can be a problem too as it is with all the eateries in this area. Try to avoid popular times and you should be good.

Okay so lets begin the chicken noodle salad is Soo yummy. The ingredients are fresh and it always comes with a nice portion that can be split between two people. Secondly the chicken wings are good enough to make you commit a crime, but dont do it. To end this review I would say that the customer service is great And that means more to me than anything. I challenge anyone to find a better Bahn-mi anywhere, no seriously anywhere, it will not happen. This Bahn-mi will change your life! I have personally ordered A Bahn-Mi Sandwich in the following cities with the intention of finding one that is better; Sacramento, Roseville, Rocklin, Napa, Sonoma, Is San Francisco, San Jose, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, SLO, Santa Barbara, L.A.&SoCal, Fresno, San Diego, Palm Springs, Reno, Salt Lake, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Colo. Springs, Fort Collins, Albuquerque, KCMO, Nashville, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Boston, Pittsburg, Detroit, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami&Miami Beach. That’s allot of cities with some really excellent cuisine to offer, that’s allot of Bahn-Mi Sandwich’s. This one is the best! Don’t give me wrong Sacramento has an excellent food scene, there are a couple of other restaurants the challenges, and San Francisco definitely has at least two places to come close, found one in Napa, Austin Texas, and Denver, That some may say a Twitter but that depends on your personal preference. As for me, and my humble personal opinion the Bahn-Mi sandwich at Viet Ha noodles & Grill is my favorite. I once bought 7 of them so that I could give them to friends and family to Experience. A small modern eatery with a simple and fast menu. There are a ton of Vietnamese places not 15 minutes away. Half of which are decent. This Chipotle type menu has quality ingredient you can taste.
