Bruuhh this is the OG place for pho.The broth is so rich in flavor, meat broth mmm. It seems like theres very little MSG in the soup, but its still amazing. The service is awesome, so kind. Overall AMAZING pho! 24 hours of cooking, they use the bones when they make the broth!! No wonder its so good!!

I was very surprised by the high reviews of this place. I’ve had a lot of amazing pho/Vietnamese food from Toronto, and this was nothing comparable. Chicken pho barely had any prices of chicken and the broth was extremely bland. The beef pho also didn’t have much depth in flavour. We tried to order two different types of drinks and they didn’t have any options available, despite the store not being busy (Friday dinner 6pm). The servers were very friendly though.

I havent been to many Vietnamese restaurants, but this is definitely the best one so far. It is understaffed, but that is understandable due to covid. The owner is a nice guy who takes great pride in his work. The food is delicious! I enjoyed the spring rolls very much. The Vietnamese coffee was as strong as it should be and with good flavor. I will definitely be visiting this place again if I am ever in the area. Cảm ơn!

Ive been coming here for more than 10 years. I know the owners, and they both are super awesome ! 👌 I brought my boyfriend and him being super picky, he loves it, always dreaming of his spring rolls, I normally get the pho or the soft noodles with gravey I love food never changes always tastes the same you can never go wrong amd check it out.

This is my FAVORITE family owned spot for Vietnamese! I always get the secret menu item of BÁNH XÈO...It takes 30 minutes but its sooo worth it. All of their menu ROCKS and they have fresh juices. Tell them Spider sent you!😘

(Being from Vegas and seeing restaurants become and go, bought and sold), I have to say that Viet Huong is definitely the best broth i have ever tasted! The sauce for their spring rolls is always well balanced between the peanut crunch, and paste as well.The combination pho never disappoints!Hadnt been here since 2016, its 2019 and this place is still awesome! The rice paper rolls of which weve tried all of them over the years are just as good. So happy to come back and enjoy an awesome meal!FYI, we still go out of our way from Vegas to San Diego for this place.

I love the fact that they offer a different style of Vegetarian egg rolls. Thats super rare in a world driven by ground pork egg rolls. hahahaha. the great thing about this place is that since it borders 2 communities, Asian and Latino, so its cool that their menus are in English, Vietnamese and Spanish. Also... their Pho is SOLID!!!! tastes amazing!

My family and I have been coming to this family owned Vietnamese restaurant since they opened (a long time ago). Food is just as good as ever. Service is always friendly and fast (for a full service restaurant). Our go-to items are the appetizer sampler (spring rolls, egg rolls, meatballs, and fried fish cake, with a bunch of herbs and greens) and the super bowl (with everything!). Prices are more than reasonable for the quality and quantity. The brothers that own this place often come around to chat with regulars and they also serve and clean when it gets busy (awesome!).

The WORST experience ever!! I understand the world we live in right now and also I can be a passive person but I need to write this out...Place was crowded for a small place. 2 young waiters running the place in the front and could not keep up. They seated the wrong people by not asking who was first etc. They seated us and others down at tables that were not cleaned and wiped off. After 22 minutes, I had to wave one of the guys down just to get our menus. Other customers were getting frustrated too because they would ask for water, menus, or whatever and it would take a good 10-20 minutes just to get it. I wanted to give them a chance but they just failed and failed again. We were a party of 2 and ordered an appetizer, 2 entrees and 2 drinks. It took them an hour and 14 minutes before the food came out....and the 2 entrees came out at separate times. They were the same thing!!! So frustrated! I watched other customers getting upset as well because they too were waiting for a long time. Its not a good sign when u see people that came in way after u, get their food, and are done eating while youre wondering where your food is.I had some time to spare and was trying to be understanding but they were a compete fail!!!The food wasnt even hot. The presentation and taste was lacking!!! A sidewalk deli wouldve been more worthy. The service was ridiculous. Watched them tell us and other customers that theyll get something and never came back. Never refilled waters...just none...no customer service. Youd get more at a fast food drive thru.Obviously, Im never going back. Take this review for what it is....but I would NOT recommend to anyone, not even a stranger like u. Have a nice day!

I’m confused by why the rating of this place is so good. I just had pho dac biet here and it’s probably the worst pho I’ve ever had. While there was a lot of meat and service was great, the dish served cannot be called pho. There was no depth of flavor despite the broth being on the darker side. I couldn’t taste any beef or spices. There wasn’t even any salt! It truly tasted like hot boiled vegetable broth with noodles and beef added in. We had to add table salt and a spoonful of another dish’s fish sauce while also dousing each bite with hoisin and sriracha just to get some sort of flavoring.We also got the banh cuon which was much better. Filling good and felt plentiful. The ends of roll did get a bit hard near the end of meal and didn’t stay moist/soft like other places but overall good. The fish sauce could use more acid as well. The gio Lou was jsut okay as well.

I really want to rate this place higher because their food is good here, but it takes like 20min-30min for the food to be ready so ordering takeout is the fastest way to get your food than oppose to dining in. Youll need at least 1hr for lunchbreak here, but even then youre probably gonna go over it

Idk who theyre trying to fool, but the plate I got smelled rotten. The com bo luc lac had a very spoiled smell where the staff didnt even want to smell it. And then I was told theyve been serving it the whole day. I certainly hope not but if they did, that says a whole lot. Whoever is cooking the food needs to actually smell and taste the food prior to bringing it out to serve customers. This is FOOD, not some item to return and get a replacement on. People ingest what they are producing. That plates beef was also not tender at all as it typically should be. I have a feeling they cheaped out somewhere, either meat was frozen too long, prepared without care, or it wasnt the correct cut.I like to support small businesses and all, but my visit showed a whole lot of negligence.

Super good, best service ever! Gluten free meals, I have Celiac disease and was still able to enjoy a most wonderful meal. Owner was amazing. If youre in town and looking for a great spot to eat this is the place. He also whipped up a gluten free sauce especially for me. 5 stars all thw way!! Been coming here for years!! Still the best pho. Tastes fresh and clean. Service is great and friendly. Bathrooms are clean. To go orders are packed neatly. The only issue is parking. The lot is small but you can park in the street.Still think this is the best Pho!! The soup base is still the best! I dont get that weird MSG headache when I eat here. The servers have changed but I believe the owners are still the same. The spring rolls are delicious also. Everything is consistently great!!!

August 2021 - Overall the prices werent bad and taste of the pho was fine. We ordered thai tea, viet iced coffee, and 3 pho (large) for $41. The meat in the pho tai could be better quality though.Id give the service here 3 stars because it could definitely be improved. Workers dont seem to care much or pay much attention. First, they didnt ask what size of pho we wanted and we later found out they had given us (and charged for) large sizes. Also had to ask for the check twice (which was odd cuz there were only two other parties in there at the time).Likely wont be back for awhile but it was worth the try since we live close by.

Best Vietnamese restaurant everEdit: I used to like it but this restaurant is not good anymore.Today When I got here to eat. The table was messy and it took the guy forever to clean it and took him forever again to bring me the menu. And the worst is the female waitress very rude disrespectful and unattended. I waved to her TWICE to order but both times she just ignored me and went straight to a table of six or another guest. In what universe is this acceptable as a customer ?And also she seemed to always have an attitude wherever she goes.The service in general is also very slow very unprofessional.

Was driving back home fro a long weekend in Palm Springs, when we got stuck on the freeway . We knew this area had a lot of Asian resurants,so I found this highly rated restaurant and gave it a try. The food was wonderful and very fresh. The owner was very nice and helpful. The only draw back was it closes by 8 pm. Amazing pho, definitely top 3 pho I had, and I love pho. The other meals looked great as well. There was a 10 minute wait on Friday for lunch, but it was worth it for sure. Highly recommend!

The food is generally good, but might be lacking in a little flavor.You must try the Vietnamese coffee while youre here, it will keep you energetic the rest of the day. We ordered: 1 Vietnamese Coffee, 1 Soda Plum, 1 order of 4 spring rolls, 2 HUGE filet mignons with rice (so so so good, couldnt finish had to go). Bill came out $40. It was a lot of food. By far the best Vietnamese food in the area. I love their veggie pho it’s flavorful made with fried tofu, bok choy, broccoli, and tomato -onions optional. Family run. Honestly, the best pho place. They make their own clarified beef oil which you can use as a finishing oil over your soup. Its amazing! Also they have pickled onions in which you must add Sriracha and Hoysin sauce with it. The best bite is some noodles, meat, onions, soup all on one spoon and slurp down in one bite. Or just get it in your mouth! Haha. Also, they have gluten free hoy sin sauce for us GF people, I mean, theyre amazing!
