Found this gem on the way to Yosemite. The Pho was delicious. The noodle is that the same kind as you would get in Vietnam but it was fine. Broth was tasty and the beef super tender. Iced coffee was good and not super sweet :) The mini kettle cakes were a fun surprise, chewy and tasty with the classic fish sauce.

Good spicy beef pho for $16/large. Lemongrass chicken and rice is nice for $15. Good vibe inside for dinner date or with the family. Place is cozy and not too noisy, will definitely be trying to other noodle soups next time.

Neat setup in a quiet strip mall near residential. Decent flavor but nothing extraordinary to offset the pricier menu. Service is very good tho compared to other Asian restaurants. Overall a convenient neighborhood pho if you live nearby.

Viet Noms is a wonderful Vietnamese Cuisine Restaurant hidden inside Livermore around a small plaza. I was craving Vietnamese food with my friends and we came across this restaurant on Yelp.Parking was free and super easy since it is located in a plaza. Once we walked in, the restaurant is really spacious and has lots of booths for 4+ people and tables for larger size parties! The waiter asks first what you would like to drink. Unfortunately hot tea has a extra cost, wish it was free.I ordered a Rice Vermicelli Bowl as it comes cold and is my favorite dish because of the nuoc mam fish sauce that goes so well with the noodles and chicken meat and vegetables. My friend ordered a pho with beef and the soup was delicious. Love this restaurant and it hit the spot for Vietnamese food cravings. Will definitely come back to support this family business!

Love this place! Me and my girlfriend came a couple of months ago for the first time and haven’t stopped going since. I always get the beef pho which is bomb and my girl gets the chicken one. Also the chicken rolls are a most try. The service is superb as well

Review is for food & service only not for the interior which is ok not upscale though.All the appetizers- Papaya Salad, imperial Roll,Salad Roll with Shrimp & Pork sandwiches ( take away jalapeños) were delicious.Tomato Soup with crab, Chicken pho was equally tasty. Excellent food overall that includes copious amount of mung sprouts & fresh herbs.

Unfortunately was just ok. The service was very spotty, the pho was very bland and flavorless and the sandwich was alright. The Thai tea also lacked that extra pinch of taste and sweetness.

Serving sizes are huge. At least for the noodle soups.Bun rieu could have been 2-3 servings in Vietnam. I thoroughly enjoyed it though I honestly cant remember what it was like previously. Could have had more crab flavor?Banh khot was not bad. Had a good crispiness to it.

Great place in a strip mall for Vietnamese food. Bun bo hue and spicy eggplant were pretty great, the former had a bit of crab flavor going on. Added some hot sake and jasmine tea to the meal which made it perfect. Easy parking in the lot and friendly attentive staff.

Food was good. Service was good until my partner and I found an eyelash in both our pho and bun Bo hue. We showed it to the waitress on a napkin. She took it to show another waitress (maybe owner) and that was it. No one came back or said anything about it after that. No acknowledgement of it or an apology. Disappointing.

Their reviews and ratings are misleading. Its highly rated but most are 2 to 3 years plus. Maybe change iof chef or owner? We ordered the kid beef pho and it had just noodle and no beef. Its basically just beef flavored. Misleading. Waiter should have told us. The waitresses seem to be new hires. The indian lady took forever to get our order and when the other asian girl came, the indian lady came back and ask to take our order. No coordination. The indian girl was friendly but not the asian girl that took our order. They should be clear on this on the menu. The Bun bo HUE taste too sweet and tomoto flavored, and the ingredients do not taste fresh.. More frozen and reheated. The beef salad was horrible. It had old peanut and dated fried onion taste. Like the stuff been setting around for a long time and have a bad after taste. It was a one and done for us. I dont know how its rated so high from other reviewers. Over all i left a 15% tip to be nice but honestly I wasnt happy with my service and food. Im vietnamese and Im not asking it to be authentic like the ones we have in San Jose but we expect the food not to be using old ingredients and at least be a bit better and decent. This was just horrible.

I don’t understand all the good reviews. Everything we ordered was very bland. The “spicy” basil eggplant literally didn’t taste like anything other than sugar and basil. No salt, no spice. It was supposed to be served with garlic rice, but there wasn’t a hint of garlic. The soup was also bland. Ironically the soup was spicier from the three jalapeño slices in it than my “spicy” eggplant, but other than that there was virtually no umami flavor and no salt or any other seasoning. The spring rolls had almost no filling. They were super crispy, but again, bland because no filling. The shrimp cakes, also bland. Lots of shrimp in them, but NO SEASONING.If you like REALLY lightly seasoned food with no salt, this is the place for you. The appetizers were served with a fresh little salad garnish that was nice, and the vegetables and chicken (I added) in the eggplant dish were perfectly cooked and fresh. It would have been really good if there had been a hint of garlic in the rice, and if there had been any salt or spice in the sauce. I can’t see myself coming back here. The server said none of the dishes they describe as spicy are actually spicy, and I’m betting it’s the same with all the other “seasonings” they put in the descriptions.

Best Vietnamese food in the Tri Valley. They dont have any of the delicious authentic goodies like congealed pork blood, but unfortunately this areas market wouldnt support it. Fairly small, simple average-American-palate-friendly menu. Everything on the menu is done well though. Family owned and operated. A got to regular for me and my family!

I have been ordering door Dash through this restaurant for the last two years... The last few months my orders have been consistently coming back with either incorrect or missing items. Today was the last straw. It happened again. I called the delivery driver first to make sure that she gave me the correct order, which she did. So then I called the restaurant and let them know what happened. They swore up-and-down that they gave me the correct order (obviously not true seeing as how Im staring at the wrong order right in front of me) And then proceeded to call me a liar as they swore they gave me everything. I requested that they send somebody out with my missing items. They absolutely refused. Dont give these people your business. They dont care about their customers at all. I spent $30 on an order that I cannot eat.

I recently ordered the vermicelli with pork twice and both times the meat was terrible both gristle and fatty. I called the restaurant and mentioned it and they promised the manager would call back but never did. This restaurant used to be good but it appears to be going down hill. Its too bad.

Nice little restaurant that isnt usually busy. Probably the best in this area. Pho broth has alot of flavor. Spring rolls and vermicelli are also tasty. Place is cleaner and more restaurant like than most Vietnamese places. Still very quick service and decent prices. Been twice and is now our go-to pho spot.

I only had the bahn mi so the other offerings may be stronger but it was pretty average. Service was good, people friendly. Nothing offensive but just never got to a place where it was delivering on overall flavor combos a bahn mi should. Baguette was too crisp outside with not much substance beneath. Cilantro stems were pretty massive, would recommend only leaving intact if thinner.

I work right next door to this place Trader Joes... I eat here about 3 to 4 times a week cause I LOVE Pho and it is very close by. Food is delicious and staff is awesome. My only downfall is the price... it is about $3 to $4 more than any other Pho restaurant I have ever been to. So, it cost me about $12 to $15 more a week for my lunch😭 other than that... Great Food!!

The pho was pho-king delicious. I ordered the spicy beef pho and the broth alone was savory, not too salty and warmed me up during the cold evening. The only downside was that it wasnt spicy enough, and I like it spicy hot. For appetizers, I highly recommend the egg rolls as they were a delight to eat, crisp and light not overly greasy. My partner ordered the chicken pho and it was delicious as well. We did order the chicken wings, and didnt realize how large and greasy they would be, I wouldnt order it again but everything else was delightful and delicious. I really like the quite atmosphere and fresh ingredients.

As of 2018 this is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in Livermore. The food quality is great, both plates and pho/vermicelli. The only negative is their limited menu, I would like to see them add a plate or two over the next few months to provide more options. Vietnoms is not a true hard core traditional Vietnamese restaurant but they will satisfy that need and they cater to the Americanized palet as well.
