My wife and I were just married at Villa and Vine this summer. The food was outstanding, the venue was gorgeous with views of the theatre and downtown, and the staff was very attentive and professional! They really have weddings down to a science at Villa and Vine! We would highly recommend them for anyone looking to have a wedding in Santa Barbara at a reasonable price. A+!
My friend had her reception here in November 2022. The venue is lovely and well-appointed, and the service was OUTSTANDING. The food was delicious, there was never a dirty plate to be seen, drinks were always full, and the staff was SO attentive and friendly! The bride told me that the venue had been very attentive and accommodating throughout her planning process as well. Highly recommend this venue for a smaller, intimate wedding. Thank you!!
Thank you to everyone at the venue who contributed to make our wedding day dreams come true! Our family and friends were blown away by how perfect the space was. One of our guests even used the word MAGICAL to describe Villa and Vine. The food was absolutely incredible and multiple people came up to us during the evening and the next day to tell us how much they loved the food: the short rib and Caesar salad in particular. As a child, I grew up with a lot of vegetarian and vegan friends and relatives. I always had a passion for any and all food, as did my fiance, but I was stunned at how hard it was sometimes for friends with dietary restrictions to find excellent food when they went out to restaurants. When we were choosing our wedding venue, then, we wanted to make sure that there would be incredible food options for even our most diet-restricted of guests. Villa & Vine was able to deliver on this and thensome - meat eaters got the best chicken Ive honestly ever had in my life, incredible pulled pork, chicken quesadillas, what-have-you, and while the vegetarians and vegans in the crowd, who are used to leaving weddings hungry after eating maybe a salad and some steamed vegetables, received huge portions of stuffed peppers and were able to enjoy the dinner portion of the event just as much as anyone else. Our appetizer station of flatbreads and a variety of mediterranean dips impressed even our guests who grew up in the Mediterranean region! Villa & Vine was excellent to work with in every regard, but I want to especially thank them for taking all dietary needs into consideration and helping us make sure that every single guest was able to enjoy an incredible meal!Absolutely gorgeous venue through and through, great staff, excellent location and exceeded expectations on all fronts.
I stumbled on Villa and Vine while doing a search for an all inclusive venue in the SB/Solvang area. We had originally planned for a Mexico wedding at an all-inclusive resort so that we wouldnt have to think about a million vendors. When our plans shifted to the US, the price-tag was our number one concern. Villa and Vine offered venue, food, tables, chairs and place setting for a very reasonable price. The only vendors we hired outside of that were a DJ, photo booth, photographer and planner. I did the flowers myself, which were simple, but the sheer elegance of the place made it look extra beautiful.The main perk...the food. DELICOUS! We went with the South of the Border theme, just to put the Mexico back in our wedding. We received so many compliments on the cuisine. Also, the staff. The staff at our reception was wonderful. So friendly and professional. Chrissy and Robyn were great to work with. They had solid suggestions on how to make the evening flow seamlessly, which it did.All of our guests were from out of town and the location was central to the SB area and easy to get to from anywhere in the downtown area.If you want elegance and deliciousness, go with Villa and Vine. You wont be disappointed.

The coordination with staff made our wedding a breeze. This was a beautiful venue that provided everything we needed for our dream wedding in a great location on State street in Santa Barbara. We would highly recommend this venue for anyone seeking a getaway wedding with family and friends. A special thank you is in order for the chef as all of our guests said that the food was delicious. From the appetizers to the choice in red wine, everything was top quality. Most importantly, the team at Villa and Vine listened to our needs and responded very professionally and with kindness. Throughout the event, they handled each and every issue with attentiveness and were in constant communication to make things easier for us - that was worth more than its weight in gold.

We hosted our wedding reception at Villa & Vine in April 2022 and everything was flawless! The food, the wine, the service, the decor, just absolute perfection! The venue is STUNNING. From the moment you walk in, you are wowed by its romantic feel, mediterranean vibe and modern touch. The vines along the walls, lemon trees, flowers along the hanging lights, arches, and lounge areas make for a stunning set up. The staff is extremely professional, always smiling and super courteous. And the food, oh boy the food, it is DELICIOUS!! The show stopper was definitely the braised short ribs, many of our guests saying it was the best theyve ever had! We also loved the Petros wine and local craft beer served on tap, which many of our guest also raved about! The only thing I wish is that I could re-live this day over and over again! We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding day, and we feel so grateful to all of the V&V staff for making our day so very special!
Great place for a small wedding (40 guests), the reception was in a courtyard outdoors, theres also a spacious room inside with a bar. Cocktails aplenty, delicious food and friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend for group gatherings and celebrations!
We recently had our tea ceremony and wedding reception at this venue...and it was incredible. From the aesthetics of the Santa Barbara summer to the helpfulness of the entire staff, the place was perfect for what we needed. All our guests raved about the how beautiful the site was and how good the food tasted!The process leading up to the day was super organized, we were able to relax and trust that our event would be taken care of. Chrissy, Robyn, and Dimitri were always gracious with their help, and made the planning experience truly enjoyable. They were so accommodating to our needs and really helped us pull off all the events of the day. They let us get there early to begin the set-up process in the morning and coordinated all the different room changes throughout the day. This combined with the amount of flexibility they offered regarding our menu choices really made our wedding feel like ours.We would highly recommend this location, once you get there youll understand why. The atmosphere of the space will make any event stand out from the more traditional venues. We loved Villa and Vine, and look forward to returning for our future anniversaries.

The drinks were a hit. The steak and fish cooked perfectly. The service was impeccable. The staff were on top of everything and very friendly. The personalized attention that the groom and I had, meant a lot to us. The courtyard, furniture, lighting and decor was romantic and the vibe we were going for. The reception was simply beautiful and perfect and for that we are so thankful. It was a difficult decision at the the time but it was best decision we made, to move our reception out of the Ritz-Carlton Bacara and to Villa and Vine. Chrissy and Allison were a delight to work with especially given the ever changing COVID restrictions. Please do not hesitate to book this venue and work with this awesome team.
What a unique place to have a wedding reception! Its full service, with great people to plan everything. And the location is terrific--just a couple of blocks away from the Santa Barbara Courthouse, so its easy to walk there right after a marriage ceremony! But if theres some time between the ceremony and the reception, State St. has lots to offer for wedding guests to enjoy - shops, art galleries, coffee spots, bakeries, etc...all kinds of good things! Its always nice to consider everyone who comes to a wedding, but the main thing is that Villa & Vine has what it takes to create wonderful memories for the bride and groom and all their wedding guests at the reception. Im very impressed!

2023-11-26 15:42:56Villa & Vine was the perfect venue for our reception last week! Everyone commented on how beautiful it was, I mean EVERYONE! The venue is just absolutely gorgeous. The food really stole the show, though. People were just raving about the food-- from the appetizers to the dessert and everything in between. My coworkers liked it so much, they’re trying to see if we can get it catered for our company Christmas party. The waitstaff was exceptional. I had multiple guests mention their attentiveness and the amount of staff provided, even on a Sunday evening. Five stars!

The food is excellent, the staff is professional, and the team is incredibly accommodating. It was the perfect venue for our 65-person wedding! If youre thinking about this venue, do it! The next day, everyone was commenting on how good the food was -- the mashed potato bar was a HUGE hit. The bartenders were absolutely amazing and kept things moving quickly and most importantly, were so sweet, kind, and FUN. There arent enough words to express how lovely the entire day was and were so grateful for everything the V&V team did to make it so perfect. Thank you, a million times!!!

2020-01-12 23:06:14We recently had our wedding reception at Villa & Vine on Oct. 13, 2019 (after a courthouse ceremony), and we could not have been happier with our experience with the venue. Chrissy, Robyn, and the entire staff took great care of us, and they helped us achieve our wedding goals stylistically and financially. A couple things to note if considering this venue: the food is incredible (our DJ said she loves working this venue because of how great the food is), the bar package is actually reasonable (we found that most are not), and the staff are so warm and hospitable.If you want to have a beautiful Santa Barbara wedding and not feel like you are being nickel and dimed, this is the place. They do 100+ weddings every year. They know what they are doing, and our guests really noticed. Lastly, we only had 50 guests at our wedding, and not once did we feel like less of a priority than their other customers (most of whom we assume had more). You can tell that they take great pride in their work. We had the most wonderful wedding reception imaginable here, and couldn’t be happier that we picked this romantic venue for our reception.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Villa & Vine over Memorial Day weekend and it couldnt have been more perfect. The weather, the venue, the food, the drinks, everything was awesome! Kristi and Dimitri as well as the entire staff really made sure that our day went off without a hitch. We had our first visit last year and Kristi showed us around the space, shared details about packages and pricing, offered us wine and allowed us to check things out without being overly aggressive or pushy. The space either speaks to you or it doesnt and it immediately spoke to us. We followed up weeks later to confirm everything and set our tasting. The tasting was a blast and we had a chance to work through our vision for our reception. We also got to spend some time with Dimitri working on our specialty cocktails.Kristi has great relationships with vendors throughout the area and was able to point us to a florist and planner who worked with our budget. She was so helpful throughout the process and never made me feel like I was being cheap when I looked for ways to control costs. She worked closely with my florist and planner and I found out that they even talked offline and texted one another late night about our wedding. She was great about checking in and following up on questions. We had multiple conversations along the way which was critical since I lived 2 hours away. Now thats service.The day itself went off without a hitch. Everything was well organized and just beautiful. The staff was super attentive and even accommodated some of my guests who had special dietary needs that I hadnt planned for with a special meal. Our guests were blown away with the venue, drinks and food from the yummy appetizers to the incredible meal (lamb chops and chicken). We opted for family style service. Everything was so good and there was plenty for everyone.Finally, the venue was just beautiful. Market lights were included with the venue and created a romantic atmosphere after the sun went down. We had garlands and lots of greenery throughout the space which really complimented the decor. We rented table cloths, chairs, cocktail tables and pillows for the lounge area. Everything else was included with the package which was great. We rented table cloths because the ones that were included with the package did not extend to the floor.Our day was everything that we could have ever imagined and the team at Villa and Vine was the best. We highly recommend checking out this venue. You will not be disappointed!
