Wow this place is amazing. The food is so good, and cheap by Bay Area standards - this sort of quality would be like 50% more at other places. But above all its just so tasty! I order online for pickup and its always hot and ready for me right on time.

Okay, so the decor is not fancy, but the pizza is outstanding, Caesar salad is delicious, and the desserts are a great finish. We have yet to find an item on the menu we did not thoroughly enjoy. Ordering online is fast and easy and the food is ready when promised. Vinnies deserves its excellent ratings and it is worth a drive.

Finally! Foldable pizza in the bay!TLDR:-Pizza is excellent! Foldable, giant slices that remind me of the east coast.-Cannolis: so yummy! I recommend the ones with chocolate chips.-Garlic knots: the bread is good and the marinara is outstanding!-Cookies (koulourakia if you’re Greek): Delicious! I didn’t care much for the icing but it didn’t stop me from enjoying the cookie itself! So good!-Service: Really wonderful. The person on the phone said it was no problem at all. As soon as I got off work, I drove straight there and got to meet Vinnie. It was a little past closing time and he so kindly handed me my pizza and gave me complimentary garlic knots with marinara (which btw…. That marinara is 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻).At this point, I’m pregnant and in my third trimester and we order Vinnie’s once a week bc that’s all this baby wants!(Just finished a slice btw)

Vinnies is an excellent NY style Italian spot!! Truly old school hospitality (kind and sincere... Cant beat it) and a killer menu. Sicilian Wednesdays are our jam!! Outstanding. Stromboli... Great food, get the Stromboli, and you can heat it at home or theyll warm it up for you there. I like to get a Stromboli made to order by Vincent Sbarro. Yes, the founder of Sbarro Pizza. And all of the desserts are homemade!!! The cookies pictured are super! The only problem is there are just 6 in a bag so youll have to get at least 2 bags. They truly are baked with love! But please save some for me!! The tiramisu is also super if you need a pick me up.

Such delicious food and good value! We LOVE the NY pizza and Stromboli, so satisfying!! They are authentic and generous with their toppings/fillings. We all ate our fill and had leftovers. You gotta try this place. Our favorite for Italian. 5 stars for sure!!!

Amazing Pizza and awesome staffs!!!I LOVE this place. It has become my go to place for Pizza. Their Pizzas are made with fresh ingredients and amazing! Besides, staffs are EXTREMELY friendly!! I really feel lucky to have an amazing neighborhood Pizza place. I have never been to Brooklyn but if this is whats Brooklyns style pizza is, I dont have to visit NY anymore. Oh oh oh and last night was my first time ordering their meatballs, Im telling you, its one of the best meatballs Ive ever had. You have to try the garlic knots! They also have homemade desserts and they are all amazing! I know, you can tell, Im a little excited but I really love going there. Food taste can be subjective and I certainly am no expert in Pizza but I had my own liking and this place is perfect! Give them a try for yourself. I dont think youll be disappointed!!!

I am from the east coast and love pizza...but dont eat it much any more due to dietary restrictions...but every once in a while I indulge. I found Vinnies via google reviews and decided to give it a try. The pizza was fantastic in all respects. Excellent crust, sauce and other ingredients. I also had a salad and it was a good value. If and when I get pizza again my first choice in this area will be Vinnies.

Ordered a pizza through there websiteDirected me to slice didnt know i was on slice. When i got messages about it being on the way i was excited. Was surprised that when it said it was delived no pizzaWas told to give them a call. Called them the lady that answed didnt want to here my side and was very argumentative kept over talking me and then told me that she didnt want to help and that she had people in front of her. Worst customer service wont be ording from them again and still no pizza

Pizza was excellent but the Caesar salad dressing was weirdly sweet. Sugar is definitely not an ingredient in Caesar dressing. Please look online for a recipe. Yours is terrible. Sorry. But it’s true. Couldn’t eat it. 😝

If you love NY style pizza, then youll love Vinnies. Fresh hand stretched dough, the perfect amount of sauce and toppings offered at reasonable prices. You can order by the slice and they also offer personal size pizzas. The marinara sauce is amazing and pairs perfectly with the garlic knots or simply use as a dip for your fave slice. They even offer a catering menu if youre looking to feed large groups.

Hit or miss. Last order was really really bad. Ordered online with specifics on toppings and they were ignored. The pizza dough was not crisp at all, tasted more like microwave pizza, maybe because it was sitting on a closed pizza box for too long.Not planning to order again.

My wife and I have been going to Vinnie’s since we moved to Martinez and it’s definitely our go to place. We both lived in NYC for years and it’s definitely the closest to NY pizza you’re going to find in the east bay. Calzones and strombolis are always awesome and the Bensonhurst and Manhattan pizzas are the way to go.

Ordered pizza on a Friday night via online. Received confirmation email stating pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. Received another email 15 minutes later stating my order was ready for pick up. So it was ready early. Yay!!The pizza was very good. Not too thick or thin of a crust with just enough crunch to it. I ordered the Coney Island which is pepperoni, mushroom and olives with a tomato sauce base and mozzarella cheese. I also picked up an order of cannolis for dessert. Delicious!One of these days I’ll try the Stromboli.

We had the Brownstone and it was delicious. Their salads are super fresh and they give you generous portions. Don’t skip dessert either. Homemade cheesecake, cannolis are a definite treat.

Really good, really Brooklyn style pizza by the slice that makes me miss my long time home. The dough is chewy not soggy. The tomato sauce was mild without being sweet. The cheese was fine and plentiful. Delightful. Friendly.

I wish I could say I loved this place, because the employees were so nice. Unfortunately, no love was put into their product. This is by no fault of the employees, but whoever wrote the recipes for these pizzas needs to rethink. The sauces taste like they are just a can of tomato sauce with no seasoning at all. The pizza came out as a soggy, greasy mess (and we ate there, so this isnt because the pizza sat in our car for an our or something). There are better places to get pizza in the area.

Best Pizza in the area! I am a huge Pizza snob, and this pizza was amazing! I ordered a Margarita and a regular Pepperoni. The crust was perfect, thin, nice crunch, with a chewy center. The sauce packed a great punch, and the cheese was high quality. You wont find a better slice within a 30min drive! Skippolinis would be my next favorite, but their crust is thicker so my vote goes to Vinnies with the thin crust.

Overall a great pizza, specifically because of the sauce and balance of ingredients but, the one I ordered yesterday was, in my opinion, under-baked. Middle of the pie was soggy and floppy, not to my taste so next time Ill request they bake it a little longer.

I was looking forward to Brooklyn style pizza to remind me of home. They forgot to put Bell Peppers on the pizza. I asked twice and saw him write it down. I ordered chicken, bell peppers with pesto sauce. They smiled as they handed me the box. I opened the pizza box and there were no peppers!!! And I paid $19 for a 14. Disappointed. Im not going back.
