2023-09-23 10:32:52Upon arriving at Vinum, we were met with an unexpected delight. We initially set foot there with the simple intention of wine tasting, only to discover that this establishment offers so much more. To our pleasant surprise, Vinum boasted a culinary side that we were previously unaware of, further elevating our experience. The ambiance of the restaurant struck a chord of sophistication and warmth. Each dish we tasted was a testament to the chefs dedication to flavor and presentation. While every dish left a memorable impression, one in particular stood out above the rest: the charred unagi handrolls. These handrolls were nothing short of culinary artistry. Their exquisite balance of flavors complemented the Pinot Noir wines we savored, creating a symphony of taste that danced delightfully on our palates. For those who, like us, might be unsure of which wine to choose, Vinum offers a wonderful solution: a flight of wines. This allows you to explore a range of their finest selections, ensuring you find the one that resonates most with your taste preferences. In conclusion, our visit to Vinum was not just a wine-tasting trip but an exploration of refined culinary pleasures. We left with palates gratified, hearts full, and a newfound appreciation for this gem in the heart of wine country.

2023-01-02 13:28:17Review is for the wine experience only. We came for happy hour which the deal is you get a flight ranging from $29-$39 (4 tasting pours) which allows the deal of a $1 full pour of any wine on the menu.We went for the cab and vinum reserve flight. We liked the vinum more which makes sense since it was more expensive. We would be back!

2022-08-22 06:08:01Good food and quality service. This place was not very busy, perfect for quiet conversations. We ordered several tapas/sushiVolcano: 5/5This was good. There was a great balance between tenderness and crunchiness. The seaweed tempura went really well with Sashimi poke.Beef tongue: 5/5Very tender and flavorful. I guess they also gave it a bit of torching, which adds to the richness of the flavor.Nigiri Omakase: 4/5It was beautifully presented. The nigiris are good but aren’t impressive.Hamachi Carpaccio: 3.5/5I do not enjoy Hamachi with Mayo personally. The mayo seemed to be too overwhelming. But the fish was fresh and I can imagine there will be people who actually enjoy it. But it is just not for me.

2021-08-18 20:52:43Came here for a date night dinner. It was a Sunday and we were having a hard time finding places that were open. We decided to eat outside and the server was great and served us on the shared patio! The atmosphere on the patio is a little odd since youre looking into a shopping mall, but I know the restaurant cant control that. My fiance had a glass of wine and I had the red sangria. The wine menu is small but it makes it easier to choose. The wine was good, but my sangria wasnt great. They use cream soda instead of lemon lime, and I wasnt a fan. We ordered some tapas - we werent too excited about any of the entrees. We had 3 montaditos - potato & chorizo, bell pepper & ricotta, and seared beef. The potato and chorizo came out cold. The other two were good. The bell pepper was our favorite. We also ordered a few pintxos, which I didnt think were worth the price. Except the curry chicken - that was good. The pork kabob was dry and the prawns were cold and didnt have much flavor. We also ordered the fried asparagus, which I liked. There wasnt really anything else on the menu we wanted to try. Thankfully it was a nice night and the server was very kind, but I dont think the food and drinks were worth the price

Menu has a massive selection of tasting, good selections.Food is mediterranean cuisine, light and tasty.Good place for team events or gathering dining/dating.
