Ive always liked this nail salon. Ive gone numerous times before and waited to do a review until I felt like it was well earned. If you communicate what you want specifically almost every artist will do it you your specifications. The atmosphere really speaks for itself and the service is almost always perfect. They make sure you are attended to relatively quickly as well.

Have been here twice happy with both experiences. I have a problem with nails lifting, went nearly four weeks and zero lift. I also like my nails thin, they are exactly what I asked for. Staff is polite and I love the satisfying videos they have playing. lol. I will be going back.

So this has been my go to place since I moved out to the area. Their pedicures are really nice. Although they did their Price 🦋 increase recently which to me seems a lot. But overall nice options for pedicures. One thing I can say I wish they would do is allow your feet to soak in the water upon sitting down. however all this is not my reason for two stars. I gave two stars because I recently got my nails done there on Saturday November 18. And they look horrible. I got GelX done there for the first time and they are just really bad. I’ve gotten GelX before at another salon and never had them look like this. As you can see nail is lifted on a couple of my fingers. They were never cured to my nail. I was going to complain but was always running late so I just paid and left. These pics were taken once I got home. Really disappointed. I will likely not get my nails done there again. but we still go back for pedicures only

Didnt get told the price prior to manicure service. The manicure wasnt dont correctly. Paying 30$ for cuticles cut seems ridiculous especially there was still skin that needs to be cut around the nail. My first and last time here. Wrinkles in the paint on my toes. Lots of paint on my skin. When asking the manager for help he play clueless and didnt assist at all. Never again.

Management does not train appropriate nail practices. Acrylics were ripped off damaging nails to a point of no return so now I’ve got to take at least a months break. A week before Christmas, I’m going to be looking great for the 3 work events I have upcoming…. Oof.

I always make an appointment with Henry, unfortunately his schedule was full so I walked in. I was placed with Vicky, I had a basic square single color request. I asked her if she could make them wider, while she was adding the powder. Instantly you could tell she was upset, then starting talking to the girls next to her. I told her she didn’t need to rush through my nails. She still did. She left them super thick and powder all over my fingers. Strongly suggest if already have a nail person STICK to them.

I have been to VIP Nail & Spa three times, hoping for a more skilled nail tech and been disappointed every time. Besides being an over-priced place, they do very poor quality jobs. I was there yesterday and will be my last time there too. They charged me $174 for two pedicures and one manicure. The manicure was only gel on my nails, and today, the nailpolish is coming off 😒 I have not done any house chores and look at the poor quality. 😢

I am a regular at VIP NAILS…unlike a lot of salons I am always sure that my nail techs are available at my appointment time. And I always leave happy. Everyone in there seems extremely talented.

Twice I came there and brought friends because I loved the atmosphere and the work, but twice I ask for glow in the dark toenails and twice they did NOT deliver. However they were nice about it…. Don’t choose the flow in the dark polish for ur feet!!! It’s a rip off!!! I spent 88 bucks on a pedi and I am soooooo very disappointed!!! They did offer to make it right but I was sick that I could not get glow in the dark toes for an event…. So I am rating it a 1…. And unfortunately I will be looking for a different nail salon although this one is convenient….

Overpriced very very rude they will charge you based off what they think u can afford for example I go in one week shabby looking it’s $15 for two rhinestone nails I return the next month dressed up and I get the same design now it’s $15 per nail. They do not give VIP customer service at all. While the work they do is decent I’d consider strongly about how you would want to be treated while paying for overpriced work

Awesome job. Got my daughter, niece and me in within an hour of calling. Custom intricate nail job was out of this world and our toes look great also. Used the massage chair while my feet were worked on - came out feeling really good physically and a boost in my confidence from their services. Highly recommend.

I got my nails done yesterday (2/10/2023) and my stones came off today(2/11/2023) on one nail. I have a salon that I got to however they’re closed due to a family vacation so I thought I try this place out. It’s a very beautiful place and the workers are so nice. I would not be returning do to the poor effort on my nails. The stones on my middle finger came off from my right side. There’s also black powder acrylic left on my nails from my old set.

I absolutely love VIP nails!And I will recommend going to Lihn every time! I always have had issues finding a good nail tech that listens to and executes my nail ideas concurrently, honestly helping provide me input on any changes we should do to make the nails even better, and generally just finding a nice, kind and personable nail tech is always hard for me.Lihn really knocked it out of the park with me, I wish there was a 6 STARS button, because his skills are unmatched! He takes his time for perfection, but also isn’t slow by any means! His attention to details is insane! I asked for holiday nails with snow flakes and he went above and beyond!Before him I always left the nail salon feeling “so-so”, but these nails Lihn did for me have really just brought my confidence up to 150%! I’m so happy with the outcome, I’ll definitely be coming back to this amazing nail tech time and time again.Better get in line ladies and gents! ❤️😍

Henry Is a wonderful nail technician. Ive been getting my nails done by him for years. I also like Lisa. Most of the nail techs are great at ViP. There is a large selection iof nail colors and designs to choose from.I added 2 pics. The dark pink is todays fresh color change. The light pink was prior to the dark pink, which lasted me 3 weeks.

My pedicure felt rushed. I wasnt impressed with the cost versus the spa treatment. I was expecting more than peddles in the water and scented candle for $80. However, the feet look good. Ill research for a hidden gem for my next pedicure. New to the area.

Came for a fill. The girl that did my nails she should get 10 stars. Awesome job! The reason I gave only 4 Stars is because it was very expensive. Most shops are $25 to $35 for a fill. They charge $52 not including the tip. So even though she did great I dont think Ill be back. They do offer a complimentry drink, its not worth the extra $25 or so for me,anyway.

I love this place! They listened to exactly how I wanted my nails, and the quality was excellent. Ive had both acrylics and gel from here, and both lasted for weeks without breaking or chipping. My acrylics didnt even lift after 3 weeks. I wont go anywhere else now!

I don’t get my nails done very often, but I heard this was a great place to get a set of beautiful nails. I am so glad I went here! I showed the nail artist what colors I like, shapes and textures and let him have fun with it. The outcome was incredible and I’m so thrilled to have these done for my birthday! I normally love this place. I tell all my friends about this place and have brought out of town friends here. The customer service is usually very good and they do a good job with the nails. My last 2 times weren’t very good, especially my last visit. I showed pictures of the color I wanted and I explained I wanted it to look glittery/sparkly (for the holiday season.) I know it’s never going to look just like a picture but at least some inspiration from it. The lady was rude, kept getting frustrated with my hand based on how she grabbed it and when I gently asked her to correct my nail that was crooked, she didn’t see it and was dismissive. And I did not like my nails at all. Not sure if I’ll go back; I’m disappointed since I thought I found my go-to salon.

Way too expensive!!!! I wanted a color change on my nails because I had gotten a pedicure a day before but didn’t like the color I chose & I didn’t feel like driving all the way to my salon for a color change so I went here because it’s literally down the street from my house. The ambiance is nice, the guy at the front not so friendly but the girl that did my feet was nice but seemed annoyed when I said I didn’t want a pedicure, just a color change because I had just had my feet done. I looked at the menu and the cheapest pedicure they had was $58. I usually pay $40 and that’s the Deluxe, I get the hot stones, foot wax etc. that price didn’t even include the nail polish or hot stones yikes! Long story short they charged me $30 for a nail color change. No biggie because it was super close to my house and convenient. They squeezed me in close to them closing so I’m grateful. I just think that $30 for a color change is a little much. Appreciate them for helping though.

Polite staff. Did not rush me. The girl did a decent job but missed the sides of my nails. I showed her and she immediately fixed them! They are a large salon with a large client base. The full set, long coffin, gel was $55. Regular full set gel is $45. The extra 10 was because I got long nails.

Horrible customer service. My red manicure had bubbles and the front desk doesn’t care. They are extremely rude and it’s a money grab.Some employees don’t understand a bit of English but try to upsell through lies and manipulation . Stay away . Some procedures don’t appear to be hygienic. Better safe than sorry. Don’t take a chance, go somewhere else.

I had my first nail appointment with Henry yesterday, which was long black coffin nails, with red bottoms aka red on the underside. Not pictured is the first version of these nails. All nails were severely scratched underneath the clear coat. Once I got home I realized it, and he thankfully fixed all of my nails by buffing off the clear coat, painting it over with black nail polish, then applying clear coat. It is now the next day. At work my nail popped like a pimple and leaked black polish all over which is the one pictured. That would have been my second time coming back. I decided Id rather save the hassle of going a possible 3rd time after and I decided to schedule with the same lady that did my nails previously.

100% I will go back for pedicures. I didnt try their other services but will in the future. Walking in I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the salon. Clean, very appealing to the eye. The manicure/nail stations are in the center, pedicure chairs around the outside. Plenty of seating and space so you dont feel crowded. The waiting area is really lovely with a million colors to chose from for nails and toes. Heads up, you definitely are hit by the chemical smell from the products so for that reason, no children are allowed in the salon (signs are posted as a reminder). I made an appt in advance and was seated at the appt time. Chairs are comfortable, everything worked. You get a menu to chose your package and yes, they serve drinks and alcoholic drinks if you prefer.I chose a mimosa $5 and their best pedicure package 24k Gold for $72 plus a gel color for $5 extra. My total before tip $82. To clarify - I chose the best package they have. They have packages down to $42 dollars (my 2 girlfriends got the Pomegranate Lime pckg for $52 each and were very happy!).I was seated at 12pm on a Sunday and was out by 1pm. Busy but not slammed. Quiet enough my girlfriends and I could enjoy our drinks and have a conversation while getting our pedicure without having to yell. They have TVs all around if you want to watch.The mimosa was delish (more juice than champagne but not bad at all!). My pedicure was very enjoyable! Starts with a champagne rinse of your legs and feet, honey based scrub with 24k gold leaf to exfoliate, massage with amazing sented oils, hot stones, mask and collagen socks. Also includes a hand mask.Summary:Salon is a 5 out of 5 StarsTechnician: ask for Mimi, she was terrific! Personable & took her time.Quality: 5 out of 5 StarsPrice: Im going to give it a 4 out of 5 Stars just because $72 is pretty pricey as far as the salons Ive been too. Yes, it was terrific and you wont be upset trying it but to do it on a reoccurring basis Id like to see it more around the $60 mark vs $72.Ill definitely be coming back here for my pedicure needs and will be trying them for manicures too!

I made an appointment with Susan but when I arrived another gal was just getting her nails started with Susan and she was a walk in- I was given to Simon who works slowly and did my shape wrong twice. Finally Susan finished and switched over to me.. by the time she got to me my nails were so much shorter than what I asked for because Simon had to keep fixing them. Anyways Susan does a decent job but couldn’t do the ombre I asked for even though I see them in the photos posted in the reviews. The service isn’t great/the nails are decent-I’ve tried this place a few times but I think I will give another shop a try next time.

I have been going to this nail shop for two years now and recently have been having an issue with service and application. While the prices are decently reasonable- I can’t say that as of recently. I paid $65 for ombré set and the application of the acyrilic is far too chunky and thick. I had broken two nails and one of the nails are not even fully on the acyrilic hence there being a gap allowing water in. I now have a bacterial infection on my fingernails (doctor has checked them) due to poor hygiene of the nail application. I’ve seen their acetone be used for feet and nails in one go instead of changing the acetone. Quite honestly I don’t think I’ll be going back here again after two years. These past few months, no one has gotten my nails right except for one lady.

2 stars for the pretty floral/pink ambiance and the friendly/welcoming front desk staff. The tech who did my pedicure was very nice as well, she did a great job and was attentive and did not rush. (offered me a free coffee, helped me turn on the massage chair, asked how I liked my nails cut).Manicure longevity was not great for me unfortunately. It felt rushed and the tech was zooming through everything. I was done way before my friends who also got gel. My manicure was just a simple gel one, but within 2 days a chunk chipped off, and now today 4 days later another chunk chipped off a different finger.I dont think my natural nail was sanded enough to have the gel polish adhere properly, because it didnt even last one week. I have had regular polish last longer.I am not doing anything strenuous that would cause it to chip either. Usually gel manicures I get anywhere else last minimum 2 weeks and Ive never had pieces chip off before. Sad that I didnt get to enjoy my manicure for very long :(

I usually come to this place for a manicure and pedicure, each time I’ve gotten a pedicure they’ve always cut my toe nail so short that it hurt to walk the next day. I needed a pedicure before my vacation so I decided to try this place out again and see, I wish I didn’t. The lady doing my pedicure was cutting and filing my already cut toes. I told her there was no need due to them already being filed by me the day before. But she didn’t listen. As she was cutting I told her it hurt but I don’t believe she understood me. She didn’t realize to stop after the multiple times I told her to until my toe started bleeding. Once that happened I really wanted to leave. The next day it hurt to put pressure and walk and it progressed to get bruise and now my toe is infected. Due to this I needed to go to the urgent care to get antibiotics and for them to perform a topical. I went to the salon after hoping I could reason and get a refund due to getting an infection. However, the lady didn’t want to examine or look at my toe and decided to not believe me; though I had photos of me at urgent care and my foot displayed publicly for her to see. In the end I received a refund but it came with an ultimatum. Either I receive a refund and never be able to come back or continue to return and not get my money back. After seeing how I was being treated, I was shocked, especially because I’ve been a customer for almost two years.

Made an appt at noon for 5 ppl for pedicures. They kept seating walkin after walkin and after 15min asked us what treatment we want so they can prepare our stuff. Another 15min goes by and they take more walkins instead of taking anyone in my group. Its 32 min past now. The ONLY reason we stayed was because one person in the group only likes to go here and it was his last weekend before leaving town. This is horrible customer service to make someone who reserved days in advance, showed up on time to make them wait 40min. For anyone who wants to blame it on me for not stating we didnt care to sit together that same blame can be put on their bad customer service for not asking.To top it off the girl doing my manicure afterwards took almost an hour for a simple Gel white French tip and the job wasnt even about average.

Today i come fairly early drive all the way from the bayarea for them to put me out because i brung my two year old with me whos we’ll behave and has her tablet. He said theres no kids allowed, i said well where is that posted? He said its been that way for two years. No it hasn’t I’ve always brung my children here they have even got serviced here with me before. He had no other accommodations to over besides i had to leave.

Update 04/252/22Service has been better for me since last year .I know It can be challenging serving so many people but having great customer service is what keeps me coming back .Update : two weeks ago I had my nails taken off my Mymy . She is very anxious . She rushed taking off my nails and ripped half my nail off on my middle finger . I cried . I was so disappointed. Another lady there was comforting and translating for me to mymy. I appreciated her for that. But mymy needs to be retrained on how to properly remove nails . I was upset it took for me to get hurt before I told her to slow down. I actually like Mymy as a person but the last few times I had her, I have been disappointed and this last time, I will never have her work on me again. No hard feelings but I only want someone who is kind and Patient touching my body . Overall I still go here . Trying to find new ladies that I love .This is my favorite place . I usually allow anyone to do my pedicure here because they are pretty consistent. Hanah did my last full set and I fell in love! She was so sweet and patient ! GreatCustomer service! I really wanted to like this nail salon but, it seems to always be hit-or-miss in terms of which nail technician you are paired with. My last two visits here both seemed rushed and the technicians lack good customer service.I came in today and was paired up with Lisa who did both my Dip Powder Manicure and standard pedicure. I feel that her wanting to charge me $5 more just to remove the old polish for my pedicure wasnt reasonable since that should be automatic with any pedicure. It was definitely an unnecessary overcharge for what was supposed to be a basic pedicure. On top of that, she could have been a little friendlier considering I paid alot of money for both the Manicure/pedicure that she performed. I hate to say it, I am a little dissatisfied with service in general and dont know that I will be returning.

The staff ensured everything is cleaned and were continually sympathetically reminding everybody to wear covers. I havent had any issues about hanging tight for my administration. The services were rushed ! I paid for a jelly pedicure the technician did it backwards and didn’t allow me to soak my feet first but after she finished polishing them which at that point the water was extremely cold. So she had to add more hot water which of course turned the jelly spa bath into a watery substance not how a jelly pedicure should be. I’ve gotten several jelly pedicures before and this was not done properly. She forgot to add the second packet to the water and added it at the end which at that point it didn’t matter. These people expect you to pay $100 for service but only give half effort. I am very disappointed and the rush job and lack of effort I received today !

I came here because my friend who got married this weekend all had us come together to get our nails done. We made an appointment for 5. I wanted just a gel manicure, two other girls wanted a full set, and my friend (the bride) wanted a pedicure and a full set. They got me and the other girls started and my bride friend started on her pedicure. They finished me and the other girls nails before they even finished the brides pedicure and didn’t even get started on her full set!! She was already stressed enough with things dealing with the wedding. When they finished her pedicure, she had to wait 20 more minutes to even get her nails started!!! They finally sit her down to get her full set started, she told her tech what she wanted (basic French tip) and the tech basically told her that it wouldn’t look good. What??? Who does that to a bride??? Whatever. It was too late to leave so she just got her nails done. We paid and left. Two and a half hours after we got there. Shouldn’t of taken so long. We didn’t even get to sit next to each other. My gel mani started chipping off the next day (I got the chrome look) they had to fix one of the girls nails before she even left. They had to fix the brides pedi. It was a hot mess. I don’t live around here anymore but you bet I won’t be coming back here. It was terrible.

I love this place I usually stick to my nail lady but this place had unique pedicures that I’ve never heard of like the “coconut milk” and “tropical paradise” and they are a lot more pricey than I’d prefer but it’s worth every little penny my moms pedicure almost took a whole hour it was over 45 minutes long. The crystals are hard to find. My set costs $55 normally it would be $60 she said but she said my nails were “short”. I think it’s expensive but it’s worth it for the work they do. I will be back!!

But once you walk inside, its very nice, has a lot of seating, staff and is very clean. The lady giving me my pedi was very sweet. Took my mom here for a mani/ pedi. The place is beautiful, staff is friendly, its fancy inside and prices are great. I paid cash, but they do take CC.This place gives us a reason to drive from El Dorado County! I highly recommend checking it out.

My most memorable opportunity approaching here and I certainly will return. Different audits are valid that they are extremely bustling toward the end of the week yet they immediately put me down, offered me drink and began dealing with my pedicure immediately. I had the exclusive pedi and a gel mani which were wonderful. I failed to remember the name of the two young ladies who dealt with me however they were extremely quite not excessively chatty. Gracious, their shellac variety determination is colossal incidentally.

Really nice place texhs did amazing front door staff just seemed unorganized. They couldnt figure out where they wanted me to go first for my mani pedi, and frequently being asked to move made me feel like I was in the way and I was uncomfortable for the first 20 mins. Otherwise, staff and services were top notch.

I’m not one to complain but I decided to come here for the amazing work I see, I was told I can’t make an apt and must walk in, so after a 20 minute drive I was told to put in my name for a call back and that the wait time was 30-45 minutes.I drove around, sat in my car and finally drove home because I never received a call after 2 HOURS. I decided to call to see what had happened since I did receive a confirmation text so I know the number I inputted was correctAfter calling I was asked to be placed on hold before I even spoke, didn’t even get a thank you, I decided to hang up and call bank since even that was taking a bit. I’ve now called back to back 3 times and I am getting hung up on each time.I understand if there was a mistake but the communication and treatment after the mistake is not being handled well at all

I was a walk-in and they fit me into their schedule. I got a pedicure and it was such a calming and soothing experience. The chairs are massage capable, comfortable, and easy to use. The pedicure treatments are reasonably priced for the number of services given. The techs are polite, professional, and create a great atmosphere. The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and inviting. Im so happy with my experience and my pedicure, I cant recommend this salon enough.

I got a fill with Eric. Who blatantly ignored me when I told him I wanted dip and tried to tell me its the same thing. Was rushed, sloppy and did an absolutely awful job on my nails I have never been so disappointed. These nails were for my birthday and your tech bombed them.

Today I had nail tech Nikki. She did fantastic work in my nails. I came to Nikki with long matte black coffin nails. I wanted to clear fill with a shiny grey gel Polish. I also asked for them to be shortened. She really did deliver exactly what I asked for. This experience is the reason I will come back just to have her do my nails. I was so happy with my nails, I got my eyebrows waxed by Vicky and she did a great job too! Thank you so much for making this an enjoyable experience.

I love their pedicure selection here! So many fun options and a nice drink of your choice to top it off (mimosas included)! I love how it’s pretty quiet and peaceful; some other salons are really loud and not calming. Overall one of my favorite salons, and worth driving 30 min for! Best to make an appointment if you don’t wanna wait, sometimes wait times can be over an hour.

My daughter came in for a fill she was told it would be $40 they charged her $60.00. Two days later her nail popped off we showed up for them to fix it they were going to make us wait over an hour. We weren’t able to do that. Came back the next morning after we called they told us they would make time for us after we waited for two hours. Then offered us five dollars to leave. We will never come back!!!!

They are kind and if you’re like me and get overwhelmed by literally the million choices of colors they are super helpful and patient in helping you find what you are looking for. Services are fairly priced and you get a lot for your money. I love that they offer complementary drinks to have during your service. Ive been going here for about 3-4 years now and I love it there. Yes a bit pricey but so worth the money. They done alot of new changes to there salon. My nail tech Vivian is the bomb always gives me great work even when I really dont know what I want. She helps me finalize when I am having a hard time picking. There pedicures are to die for they have so many types of pedicures you can get from a basic to champagne to make you feel like your rich. Ive had that one once before and oh my gosh, I felt like a rock star with my feet being wash with champagne and 24kt gold. I think it a must have at least to do it once. It a nice splurge. 👌🏻

I’ve been going here for years most of there nail techs are good. On Thursday I took my developmental delayed niece there. I told them what services needed to be done and even provided pictures. And proceeded to run errands while she was being pampered. When she was about to pay she called me because the price was more than what they originally told me. Long story short don’t go there they try to play you if they think they can and made a sly remark about my niece being stupid . Very displeased

I absolutely love VIP Nails!! Im very picky about my nails and I love the bling boujee nails and they slay them every time. I constantly get compliments about my nails. Ive seen 3 different people here and all of them are amazing, but I have been seeing Vivian for over a year now and I will not go to any other nail salon. I travel 45 minutes just to go here. The salon is so beautiful and classy and they treat you like family here. If youre looking for a good nail salon, look no further!! Quality of this place have gone downhill. Overpriced and rushed manicure, hairs stuck in my gel set. Manicurist gave me painful cut on my cuticle while doing my pedicure and made me bleed. Scrubbed my legs so roughly and then rubbed lemons on them which stung. Overall very unpleasant, not coming back.

They were professional and fast. My granddaughters and I got our nails done, they got full sets and I got a straight manicure. The full sets were nice but my manicure was to get me on the path of repairing my nails from a french manicure I had done in Texas. My manicure has chipped polish and I will be removing it today. The girl doing my nails seemed irritated that I was only doing a manicure and not a full set. I love their pedicures, I always get gel and it lasts for a very long time. I love the massage chair and pleasant clean environment. I would recommend them except the plain manicure!

Not only do they have multiple colors but LOT of designs to chose from as well! They have a complementary drink menu and snacks as well! Very relaxing place! Spent $63 to get a full set and the lady who did my nails was rough, speeding to get done and sloppy. She cut me 3 times. When I told the front desk, they didnt even care or give a concern. I had been going here for a couple years, but after this experience, they lost a costumer for life. They care more and quantity rather thanquality. They treat customers like a deli line, just another quick number.

I’ve never been disappointed when coming to this location. Each nail tech kind of has their own style of massages and how they go about doing the pedicure but the quality is always exceptional. Today I received a lovely massage from Christy. She was very thorough with removing cuticles and dead skin from around the toenails. She has magic hands and applies the perfect amount of pressure in spots you may not have even know you had tension. It’s a little pricey compared to other places but it’s worth it for the experience. Highly recommended ☺️

Nana is my go to nail tech now… she is INCREDIBLE!!! I had my nails done at a previous salon, Nana took them off, redid the ombré, added a design and I was out the door in an hour!!! And the attention to detail was just perfect!This place also has wonderful choices for pedicures, very hygienic with liners in the tubs, everything was in little containers for each client, it was great.Give them a call and make an appt you won’t be disappointed!

I have been going here now for about a year and I have to say I absolutely love this salon.After shopping around for a new location as my other one closed after many years it was really hard to find. I live closer to Roseville actually but all of the ones I went to had such bad customer service I just could not believe it so a friend I work with goes here and she hooked me up with Henry I also see Lee if Henry is busy and they both are fabulous highly recommend either of them. And if you need a pedicure Angie is fabulous over there too I’m really hoping she comes back soon from the pandemic issues. Also their prices are really very fair so happy with that too.
