Viridian in Oakland

Vibes are high at Viridian. Super friendly staff and fun creative cocktails. The fried mushrooms were absolutely delicious. Would’ve loved to see more cocktails with Japanese whiskeys especially with how many different types were on the shelf. Knocked a star off for the price point, $14-15 for a cocktail is reasonable but some were $17-20 that’s pretty expensive even considering the area. 2 rounds and a snack was a little over $100 with tip. I really liked the matcha melon gin drink, also tried the coffee/milk whiskey one which was good but way too sweet and after half of it I was a little over it. Would definitely still return to see what new cocktails get rotated it.

Vibes and aesthetics are on point. Trendy & hip. Asian-inspired, neon heavy lighting. Seasonal cocktail menu.Perfect for a date or small hangout with friends.Garlic noodles are flavorful - would recommend!

I liked the place and its food! Their garlic noodles were simply delicious 😋 The only thing I could complain about was their QR code menu which was a little difficult to navigate through using an Android phone ... it was difficult to get to my menu and come back to pay 😪

Fun atmosphere, live plants always add a nice touch to an open space. There was a bit of a wait but well worth it. Drinks were tasty offering classic and signature drinks. Food was nice and freshly made. There were sold out of some items so Ill have to come back and try their Shanghai ribs. We had chicken wings and mushroom garlic noodles 🤤Friendly staff, clean environment, colorful vibes.

Cool hip bar that took over Plum bar. The prices of cocktail were about $15 with them being really well done (minus the old fashion, didnt dig it that much). Their espresso martini was really good.The staff are attentive, quick, and friendly. When we first arrived it did smell like throw up inside and not sure if we became used to the smell or it aired out but thats probably our only complaint. Really like their pin, its so 80s

Found this place last year and instantly fell in love with the vibe and aesthetic (which changes somewhat frequently!). Always good music and lighting. The drinks are amazing too, very tasty and unique flavors ranging from tomato beef to white rabbit cocktails. Ordering/paying is made easy by scanning a QR code and all the staff are so friendly and nice, shoutout my man Sunny! Younger/trendy crowd here and its usually pretty lively, expect to be on the waitlist for 20min+ during peak times. All in all its a 10/10 location that Id highly recommend!

Loved the modern and neon vibes aesthetic that viridian had along with some poppin music! not only were the vibes immaculate but the ambiance was fitting for any occasion (dates/friends/girls not out/etc!) - the cocktails and food were equally were as fire. additionally, their staff truly helps make the place so lively and its truly something yall gotta experience yourself. depending on when you arrive there might be some slight wait time but its not too bad since they have a time limit of 90 minutes or so! i went with a small group of 5 and we all had all really enjoyed the fun energy of the spot!the tapas/food are slightly expensive but also the flavor is super unique and creative so i feel that its worth paying to try at least once!- Khmer Chicken Wings [8 pcs. - marinated, double-fried chicken wings, cilantro, crispy garlic, basil, chili, lemon] ($21.00)for my drink i tried the xi muoi fizz [song cai vietnamese gin, matcha shochu, ayuuk, salted plum, lemon, egg white, soda] ($16.00) -- which tasted so similar to my childhood fav drink soda xi muoi - but with an added layer of alcohol and more hidden notes/taste of the egg white intermixed withintips:- public transportation around! (bart is nearby - my friends and i actually barted there)- lots of fun spots to check out in the area- perfect for friends/dates- street parking is available nearby (MAKE SURE YOU DONT PARK IN FRONT OF THEIR SPOT BC ITS A TURN LANE)

Even if youre not in the area, Viridian is 100% worth going to.Ambiance, great service, inventive mouth-watering food and equally tasty beautiful looking drinks.Things to consider:- Loved the pop music, but may be too loud for some.- 90 min max limit, may feel rushed- Food $10-$30, Drinks about $16 for a cocktail

Had been invited here a few times, but never made it. Finally got together with friends and have to say the atmosphere, service and food/drinks are fantastic.Totally recommend this bar if you are looking for great drinks, food and deserts!!

Is usually busy in the evening. Kitchen stays open till 11. Usually a wait so put your name down and theyll text you. Bar seating is good. Small plates and unique desserts. Tomato beef is the drink theyre known for. Is a very fast paced bar with lots of staff. Can feel a bit clubby later in the evening
