I visited Vitality Bowls (VB) with my two children to enjoy a nice healthy sit-down lunch, when passing through the area. We walked in with food in a closed paper bag from the neighboring business. We ordered from VB and I paid over $40.00s for two fruit bowls and a piece of toast. We waited for our order and eventually received it. We started eating our food from VB, when an obnoxious employee approached my daughter and demanded we leave the business for bringing in outside food. My shy daughter quietly agreed and told me we were kicked out of the business and had to leave immediately. I approached an available worker (also extremely rude) as the one who relayed the message, quickly returned to the back of the restaurant. I inquired about being kicked out and she demanded we leave immediately. We left.I was never informed about their concern or asked to put the bagged food in the car or somewhere else outside of the restaurant before being told to leave. Additionally, the employee waited until I gave her my money before kicking my family out. And, they approached my 13 year old, and told her, not me (the adult), to leave.After I left and took my children to the car, I returned to request a refund. I was told they dont give refunds and they cant pull a manager out of thin air for me. Then I was told that I have two eyes and should have been able to read the sign posted near the door that says no outside food. I was then told I was lying about when I brought the bagged food in and that they had camera footage as evidence. When I requested to view the camera footage, they said it was too difficult to pull it up. I felt like I was on a prank show, thats how unbelievable this experience was.This business is dysfunctional. They have a group of young obnoxious ill-mannered employees working with no apparent responsible adults in sight. Im left in disgust.The food is generic and overpriced.

I come here quite often & each time its always pretty good. I have ordered many different things grom the menu and nothing has been disappointing so far. Staff are nice. Its clean and the food is a healthy option compared to most things in the area. The superfood bowls are to die for. Recommend for your super food needs :)

Love one of the managers, always knows my name but anytime I come in and she is not there the staff is rude. I came in this morning and the girl working at 9:33am was rude. She didn’t want to wait for me to look at the menu and then copped an attitude. I ended up walking out without ordering anything. I am a repeat customer as well. Super disappointed at the staff

Great place to study or hang. Pretty close to the SRJC campus so you’ll see students come on often. The bowls are really good as well as the peanut butter and chia toast 🔥. It was soooo good. The smoothies are good too but more nutritional than taste which is sometimes what is needed :).

The environment is really clean, calm, friendly, healthy and open to serve you how you want. They cashier said I could take off anything I wanted or add whatever I wanted in everymeal. Which is wonderful, proves the made it. Anyhow very delicious healthy food here. Great place to go to after the gym and want something light that will fill you up.

We like the salads and bowls. Occasionally portion size is not consistent but we are grateful for the healthy and nutritious food nevertheless.

My favorite place to go for a smoothie or açaí bowl!! I love that they don’t mix sugary juice or ice cream in their smoothies and there are so many options for customizing your order! The online ordering is so helpful for when I’m in a rush but the service is always quick, even when I don’t order ahead. A million times better and healthier than Juice Shack or Jamba Juice and the prices are actually VERY reasonable considering the quality of ingredients

No bathroom because its out of order? So where do your employees use the bathroom?? They told me to try next door.$25 for food and no bathroom. Good luck, try next door.The vitality bowl was pretty good and so was the power panini.

Counter employee left something to be desired. Music loud and employee talking very quietly. Also not helpful even when I said it was my first time there and was asking questions. I’m hard of hearing. I asked for employee to repeat a few times and when I did she/he (couldn’t tell if boy/girl) would glare at me and say it even quieter seeming annoyed. I finally said, “I’m hard of hearing that’s why I’m asking you to repeat what you’re saying.” “Oh” was the response. Glad I didn’t tip. Presentation so so, Vitality Bowl was so so. Won’t be revisiting.

Green Glow bowl was delish. Lots of different textures. Multi-grain, pumpkin seeds, radish, lettuce, pickled red onion, tasty tender chicken breast (grilled), avocado and the addition of fresh mint leaves elevated it even further. It was healthy AND tasty. Rare combo. Great dressing on it too. Recommended!
