Part of the menu was missing off the screen. Service is terrible and cashier acts like youre dumb. The front door was open with flies coming in and landing on food. I couldnt tell if they were cleaning or if the ceiling was leaking due to random trashcans in the middle of the dining area. The food itself wasnt bad but the rest is less than desirable. Wont be coming back here.

This place is run down. After ordering 2 Waba bowls, I realized the windows were very dirty, with hands prints all over the glass doors. The tables were dirty and the floor looked as if hadnt been swept in a week. No fountain drinks either. After getting home, my rice bowls had very few veggies and the rice was not fully cooked and very grainy. I didnt want to return to complain because they would have probably gave me more grainy rice (employees clearly dont want to work there) so I just ate the meat and disposed of the rest. The owner has a lot of work to do, I dont know how this place makes money with this type of quality. Oh and no green onions either, and at almost 10.00 per bowl I expect more than this.

I love Waba. Good food. But this place seems to be falling apart lately. Im not really sure if this is what you are supposed to get, but it doesnt seem right. I ordered a side of shrimp to try it. It was 2.29 which is not too bad. Figured it should be a few pieces. I just got 2 pieces of shrimp. I tried to call the store to ask and the phone doesnt even ring and it just hangs up.

Set up an online order to be ready at 10am when they open. And when I got in they told me they so not start any orders until 10am. Why would the store allow me to place an order to be ready at 10am if it wasnt going to be ready until 10am. Honestly its super annoying because the girl in the back was super rude and condensing. All they were doing was just wiping stuff off and gave me a dirty look when I came in. They are only just starting to make my food and its 10:08am

My family loves waba but after tonight we were highly disgusted with their quality and service. We ordered through door dash they forgot our potstickers and salad dressing. No biggie because door dash is very on top of their orders and making it right. Waited for our postickers to get here and they were burnt and not anything I would feed to my child( which is who they were for). They really need to watch who they are employing here because people really dont like their food messed with when they pay for it with their money they work hard for. I would give this place a zero if I could. Bring back the quality and cut loose those who are tarnishing your name waba yall dont deserve this kind of recognition from anyone.

Sorry to say this. Price is expensive for the value. Food came out cold. Rice is undercooked. Crusty tofu. No fountain drinks. Employees are young kids. Untrained in good customer service. Wait times are long. Food is messed up if modified because the kids who work here cant think under pressure. Super understaffed. Needs new management for sure. Somebody who knows what they are doing.

The young man that helped me was pleasant, but when going to the grill to fix the food he put the salad in with NO DRESSING, then the rice and put it on the counter uncovered. The went to the grill and his phone either vibrated or something,but he pulled it out of his pocket with the glove on his hand. I told a young lady that was there and she just looked at me like oh well and keep doing what she was doing. I told the young man what he had did wrong. However, the store was clean this time behind the counter and the oranges did look like they were a week old. that was a plus. This place just needs some employees that care about what they are doing. And the owner needs to be more involved with the store.Update on 1/23/23I went back in and the manager replaced my order. And she told me that she had read the review, which was a good thing. That lets me know that she care about the restaurant. I noticed that the restaurant was still clean, so thats a plus for me. I will give them another chance🙂.

Never seen nor heard of this place, till we were looking for a new place to try out. Yes, their food is fresh, and ono (yummy). It tasted like home (Hawaii). I enjoyed their Chicken & Steak plate, hubby liked the rib-eye steak. Will be going back there again.

I LOVE JESSICA!!!! shes so amazing i told her that i had a very negative experience with the last workers that work there, and she deeply apologized and was soooo nice that i even told her i would make a review, she told me that they were under new management and she was so sorry i had a negative experience. Jessica came to work after the kids i had a problem with were fired, once i was standing there for 6 minutes and no one took my order and instead called the person behind me up when i was clearly in line, and then pretended to not hear me. Jessica and the new staff however are very different and the foods quality has gone up.

If I could rate this place a zero star I would!! I have been coming here for years over the few months this place has gone very down the drain. We keep coming back because its near our house but this is the last straw for us. First thing I noticed when I walked in was the two ladies were not wear uniforms and no hair nets or hats. Then I ordered 3 chicken bowl with only cabbage, broccoli and serrano sauce not that hard. First cook makes them with carrots and teriyaki sauce. So she makes my ordered again and to only give it to someone else behind me. So Im waiting and they remake my order and give it to me with carrots once again. Lady at the register was on her personal phone instead of helping the cook who was in training. I bought it up to her attention and I get disrespect and yelled at for not saying something I guess when she handed it to the other customer. How am I supposed to tell someone to do there job. She said she didnt have the time to be arguing with me and offered me my money back. I just took the food. All I wanted was my food made correctly. Not to walk out with my money back and no food. They always always mess up our order. Seems they cant work under pressure. Super understaffed. Needs new management for sure. There was one guy that just left after waiting to get his order taken. My order was taken at 703pm walked out with the wrong order at 725pm . Really not what you want to go through after working a 10hr shift. I really dont know what has happened to this place.

Been going here for about a year or so. Increasingly in the past few months the quality has completely deteriorated. The kitchen looks dirty everytime, as if it were never cleaned. I forgave the appearance because the workers looked like they were hustling to make my orders right. But as of January, the quality is gone. Green onions apparently dont exist. The food portions are always inconsistent, and the restaurant CONSTANTLY IS out of products. The app to store interface is trash, because it doesnt update or isnt updated when the store is out of stock. Twice this week I ordered 3 bowls with avocado, and got no avocado. Thats 12$ out of my pocket. I dont blame the cooks. This is a clear and apparent lack of managerial talent. I only leave reviews when I feel a store is truly, utterly lackluster. Except for the hardworking cooks, this restaurant has nothing to offer. And again, how are they out of green onions and avocados all the time?!

I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years and it has been going down hill in the past couple of months hard and fast! Only two people working taking orders, one was not even wearing a uniform, idk it’s sad to see it go downhill this fast! My order was a big disappointment as I ordered a salmon plate and didn’t get a salad. Received pot stickers instead. My salmon looked horrible. No veggies no salad? I didn’t even get asked what I wanted for options. Hope they can turn it around quick!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! Unfortunately I cant give this place zero stars or else I would. I have had multiple bad experiences at this location with them screwing up our orders. Customer service is always poor and they are always extremely slow and behind on phone and online orders. My last and final experience was in December 2021 and I had a $40 online order placed and paid and when I arrived the staff had told me that they were out of steak and the dumplings. My order was already paid for but they refused to refund me because the manager was not there. They told me the manager would contact me the next day but I never received a phone call. I had to go through my bank to try to get refunded but they wont because its the responsibility of the restaurant for a dispute like that. So now I am out $40 because the manager never contacted me to fix the issue and refund me. I am incredibly disgusted and disappointed with how poor their customer service is here at this location and encourage everyone to avoid this location.

This is the second time we’ve come to Wabba and didn’t have a good experience and the same employee that was there the first time was also there again tonight we showed up around 845 a little over an hour before the store was closing and we walked in and said they weren’t taking any orders in a very rude tone . because they were going to be going to be closing early and then she said that They didn’t have what I probably wanted anyways not even knowing what my order was going to be they were all sitting in the corner on their phones not even working. But the store door was still open and you could walk in . I asked what the owners name was They told me the owners name was “G” if that’s even true… The first time that employee was there she was cussing and on her phone and dropping stuff on the floor and just putting it back up the lids to the containers that go on the boxes that they were going to put on food . If they’re not going to be serving food then the door should just be locked and they don’t need to have employees there to get paid just to sit around on their phones.

Waba Grill is losing its luster. Went into this location on 4/2/22 in the evening and had the worst server help me. From bad mouthing to food trays being thrown across the preparation table. Seriously need to start sending undercover corporate people to see how bad it is getting. Between this one and the one in Victorville, has made my decision to switch to Chipotle so much easier. I rather drive a bit more for a better experience. Wanted to walk out but the server acted like she did not want to attend to customers so pretty sure the wait to get a refund would have been longer than the 25 minutes I had to wait for my food. Did not even enjoy it and threw out more than half and I hate wasting food. Just did not feel right after seeing what I did. Theres a good variety of choices here and the food is delicious. I call this good for you food because there are so many healthy choices.It is always clean and well taken care of. They have a nice friendly staff that get you through the line fast so there is a very short wait time. This store is horrible. They never have enough workers so it takes forever to get a order. They dont give you refunds just take youre name so you can pickup the same mis-made food again. Dont think about having your food delivered. Order from here for lunch chicken tasted like the grill they havent cleaned with black stuff on it a salad without dressing and none of the extra I ordered and paid for. I usually like this place, been a loyal customer for 3 years, but last time I got an order from Door Dash, I was severely ripped off. I ordered two bowls for myself and my Mom. I got a veggie bowl with plantspired steak and my Mom got chicken. Our bowls only had rice with the meat, and that was it! I sent an email to Waba Grill about this and all they said was contact door dash about this but door dash was not the problem. Online customer service needs to learn how to comprehend what is written. I have pictures and receipt. Since they dont want to make this right, I am going to leave this review to warn others and will also be notifying my friends, family and followers to no longer eat here until they learn how to treat their loyal customers. There are many other places nearby with great food.

1st time in Waba Grill and waited a long time to be helped to take my order. The female cashier was playing around on phone and singing to music. She was hanging out with the other female employee who was chopping steak. When the cashier took my order she was rude and hardly acknowledged me as a customer. The cashier was scooping rice in bowls without gloves and her long pink finger nails were in the bowls! How unsanitary! The cashier was again dancing to music as people entered the place in line. Two men came after me and the cashier was completely catering to them. With me, she acted very standoffish. As I waited for my food, I noticed that the cashier was chopping steak with no gloves on. Then the cashier packed multiple beef bowls and took them to the front counter. My number was 93, but the cashier purposely called 94 who was the guy behind me. Then she called 96, and I immediately went up to the counter and said Im 93. She didnt even look at me just stared at the counter and mumbled ok. She didnt even ask me if I wanted any sauces...I had to ask. This cashier employee on my receipt was server Cash D. Not sure if this is even her name. She clearly ignored me and was purposely being rude for no reason. I have never been treated so badly as a customer. Is there even a manager that is checking on how their employees act towards customers? Oh and evertime you call the phone number you get hanged up on. I called multiple times on the way there and you absolutely cannot get through. Whats up with that? Beyond poor customer service....treated disrespectfully. I will never go back to the Waba grill in Apple Valley off Hwy 18!

I was very disgusted with our service today. I have to say once never had a bad experience here before but today made me not was to come back. We walked to an almost empty spot. Our order that we Called in 20 min prior was not ready. An employee by the name sawyer was laughing and on his phone behind the cutting station taking pictures of orders. Then in the middle of assisting a customer in front of him he rant outside to mingle with a friend. Then came back inside ran both hand through his finger and proceeded to handle food. After I asked him not to handle my foo without first washing his hands he became upset and was rude to me when I asked him for onions for each bowl I ordered. Something that has always been complimentary. Pandemic or not hand washing in a place dinning should alway be a must in between task. Such a shame that he couldn’t represent the company as it deserves just because there was no manager there. I will not return.

Horrible Customer Service. Filed a complaint against a rude employee and have yet to hear from anyone. They charged me for a meal I didnt get, instead I got a side of attitude when my order was not ready on time. Will never give that specific location my business. I went to Subway and in under 5 minutes they had a fresh salad made for me. I am not the only one where I work at that has had a negative experience with the employee and with this location. We rather go to Subway, where they never give us attitude as a side dish.

A friend told me about Waba Grill a few years ago. Never heard of them until he told me about the franchise.Walked in and was instantly was greeted by some not so friendly tunes. I get the staff needs some music to uplift them while working such an over worked thankless job. But the type of music isnt suited for such an establishment.There were a few people waiting for their food and only one worker at the time. He was busy and doing the best he could. With that being said, the wait was kind of long. It is what it is...The food arrived and it wasnt what I had ordered. After informing the worker and hearing my options, I stuck with what I received. The chicken had a rough chop and not what I have received from other Waba Grills in the past. Wasnt offered green onions! Gotta have those! Lol.The other worker came back from lunch. Saw him grab some gloves and put one in his mouth while walking to the other side of the kitchen. Red flag! I am not germaphobe by any means, but a glove in the mouth when hes about to start handling food!? It was my first time having Waba Grill and I decided to go during my lunch break around 12PM. Considering how busy the store was I was pleased to see the employees prepared my food sooo fast and best of all it was delicious! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and felt very welcomed. I wouldve gave this 5 stars, but this one cashier was very impatient. I needed a minute to overlook the menu in case there was something new and she started clicking her pin letting me know shes losing her patients. When I told her I feel as if Im being rushed she rolled her eyes and looked up towards the ceiling. I get it she was young and I took her away from her personal phone call. I seen her coming from the back as she had her cell phone to her ear. How could I? She made this locations and wobble look very bad. I will be filing a complaint with their corporate office in regards to this experience and I know its not Waba that teaches their cashiers to be rude.

This place is a joke. I ordered online and it said they were open till 10pm so I set it for 9pm. When I went to go pick up my order at 9:11pm they were closed. So I called the next day and asked if I could get a refund or a credit and Ill I got was Oh the manager isnt in so I cant help you. So I called the next day same time in the morning and same response. Like are you kidding me I paid for my food and never got it. I been trying to get a hold of a manager to no avail. Please please avoid this place, if they mess up your order good luck trying to get it corrected and there closing times are not updated...

Ordered the salmon plate with chili sauce. The salmon was inedible and was swimming in the chili sauce so disgusting. I could make better salmon blind folded with my arms tied behind my back so awful, will never come back! On top of it we ordered it for pick up and showed up 10 min after the pick up time and it still wasnt ready. Staff is rude

I have been to this Waba grill before and it was excellent. Tonight we got there at 9 pm an hour before closing and the young woman that took our order was a snooty little brat. Her and the cook were so busy getting ready to close,they couldnt manage to give us vegetables with our plates. Very, very disappointed in the service and the food tonight. Certainly not worth $25.00.

Apparently the girl who was helping me was waiting for someone to show up for work because as soon as he did she put me on ignore until he walked up. Actually, negative stars!!!I am Vegan and they penalize me to get a bowl of rice, broccoli only, and avocado than if I ordered a bowl with rice, two dead animals and veggies. So ridiculous.The ‘manager’ literally said; ‘uh, yeah, I think it’s because broccoli is so expensive’. OMG really? Literally 4 pieces of broccoli is more expensive than a dead chicken or cow? I don’t think so. What a lame excuse.I have tried to contact them twice to no avail. I called the number the worker gave me for the ‘general manager’ and literally the message said ‘were sorry this person is not accepting calls, please call back’. Not even a chance to leave a message for the ‘GM’ to call ME back.Horrible customer service.Every other place I go, when I ask to leave off the meat and cheese, they discount the price ... Waba literally tried to charge me MORE.COME ON WABA, CATCH UP.it’s rice, broccoli and an avocado ... not caviar.Oh well, FLAME BROILER IS BETTER ANYWAY!

I would rather eat at flame broiler or golden chopstix. Waba has hissed charges for modifications. If you want all veggies and no rice they charge you, if you want no cabbage in your veggies they charge you. I got brown rice and it wasnt cooked. I think the discount cards is what brings people in.
