Im surprised at the negative reviews. I havent experienced an issue yet. I was here Friday night and ordered the tacos. I enjoyed them. I had 1 steak, 1 chicken and 1 shrimp. I really liked the fillings and thought the meats tasted good and cooked nice. I didnt really enjoy the tortilla part but it is just my taste buds and preference. Would I order them again, yes. I got a mini spicy chicken bowl today and thought it was substantial, filled me up and the price cannot be beat for what youre getting. I hope the consistency continues because its convenient to where Im living. Im also close to the upland store but would prefer to keep coming here.My original review was all 5 stars. I just went to this location again today on Sunday to get a free bowl and the woman behind the counter is extremely rude and she only packed the bowl up 3/4s full.This is what I wrote to the contact us:Hi.This is my 4th trip to Waba grill.I originally tried the Rancho location on Hellman a week ago and ordered a steak bowl.   It was packed to the gills and had a bunch of great sauce.   This is what got me hooked.I then went on Friday night to the Claremont location and had tacos.  They were great and great service.I decided to get the app if I was going to become a regular.I went to Claremont yesterday and got a spicy chicken mini bowl and it was packed and full of sauce.I earned a free bowl worth up to 9.99.I returned to Claremont today and the woman firstly behind the counter was put off that I came in for a free bowl.  Secondly was upset that I wouldnt take chicken automatically.The bowl came out in minutes and with her back turned to me asked a question.   She was asking if I wanted sauce.  One, its really rude to talk to customers and ask questions with your back towards them and two, its hard to hear the voice.I was going to ask her how much a half avocado costs and if it was ripe.  But as I was asking she walked away to the back and pretended not to hear me.I didnt really want to interact with her anymore so I didnt pursue the topic and just went to Wholefoods and bought an avocado.I get home and this bowl is a weak excuse to how Ive had meals prepared in the close past.I understand its a free bowl but I feel like it should be treated the same way being prepared.   I would be awfully frustrated if I paid $10 for this when its only 3/4 full and not much sauce & meat.If I go back and shes working I will not make a purchase.Thank You,Shaun HallSent from my T-Mobile 5G DeviceIts 8:15 PM Sunday night and Im updating my review back to 5 stars due to the caring phone call I received from Waba Grill.

We ordered a family meal which seems to be a new addition to their menu. I was surprised at how little food they put into the containers. It’s supposed to serve four people. The rice containers were full only half way. Why give these size containers when neither is full. The meat container was half way full as well and we got up charged because we did half and half. The only one that was actually full was the veggie container. I don’t think this feeds 4 adults. We’ve ordered the family meal at Flame Broiler and we’ve been able to feed six people with that one. We keep going back to WabaGrill because the flavor is better but this was a huge disappointment.

Excellent customer service! Ms. Gabby made me feel at home! she greet me with a smile and she was quick in taking my order without loosing her smile. Thank you Ms. Gabby for your excellent service. For sure I will go back!

I’ve now visited this location twice and both times they gave about 1/3 a bowl in terms of the rice and chicken. Twice now I was able to see through to the rice through the chicken and could count maybe 15-20 small pieces of chicken. This is not at all what I paid for and the one on Foothill serves justifiable portions. Even after ordering the beef, still the same result, bowl not even half way full of my choice of protein and rice. Will not be returning unless this location adjusts its serving sizes to match other locations and the price of the bowl itself.

I ordered the grilled salmon veggie bowl. After paying, the cashier told me they couldn’t make it because they had just cleaned the grill and didn’t want to use it again. It was 8:40 pm.and the sign on the door said they close at 10pm. I asked for the shrimp instead but was again told “no” - the two young women working didn’t want to get the grill dirty. I really felt like just asking for a refund and leaving, but I went ahead and ordered the chicken and beef veggie bowl with no sauce instead. Since this was cheaper than the salmon I had paid for, the cashier asked if I wanted a drink or something else (instead of offering me a refund!). I told her to just add avocado to me order. Wow, I really regret not just leaving. This was the worst chicken and beef veggie bowl I have ever eaten. The meat was barely warm and heavily sauced. The vegetables were barely cooked and almost cold as well. I ended up feeding most of it to my dog. To be fair, he seemed to really enjoy it.

Ordered the chicken teriyaki rice bowls, the most underwhelming meal I’ve had. I felt like I was eating a school lunch meal. Steamed Vegetables had an odd flavor with no seasoning. Won’t come back to Waba Grill

Sophia was the cashier who helped me out. She was very helpful and greeted me once I walked in.
