What can I say. I am very disappointed in the overall experience with this establishment. They got the order wrong by not adding veggies, portions feel off and the over all customer service was okay at best. They didn’t show any amount of empathy or willingness to help with questions on the food they serve. Will not return.

Wa Ba grill puts someone in charge that does NOT know business ethics at all.. she does NOT know how to run a business. Last visit took the case I had to write a review I had a gift card with 7.45 on it. No one knew how to apply gift card so they told me sorry your card had no money on it. We went back and forth until a manager walked up could not speak English did not know what she was doing.either. I paid with my debit card went to my car called the phone number on card said I had a balance 7.45 I left it on speaker walked back inside so they can all hear this should of been done. Customer should not have to do your job after I choose this place for my gift card. Anyway this made it worse the manager kept my gift card once she heard I do have a credit of 7. .45 …. Said I would get a credit on my debit card that NEVER HAPPENED so I gets ripped off paid over 11.00 for a 8.99 meal plus they kept my gift card. I am so pissed

If I could give this location zero stars I would. I bought a plant spired bowl and they filled it about a quarter of the way and gave only 6 small pieces of the plat spired steak. We always order this so I know this isn’t how its suppose to come. In addition this is t the first or second bad experience at this location, I guess that would be my fault for continuing to go back. They never answer their phones and their attitudes are terrible! There are usually only 2 people there and it is more than obvious that they are always under staffed. I understand that these Waba restaurants in the high desert might all be owned by the same owners but if you really want Waba, I would just drive to the one on Main st. 100 times better Customer service! This Roy Rogers location is absolutely terrible!

I go to this waba pretty often after the gym at least twice a week in the past 3 months.They are the only waba I’ve been too up here that charge for the sauce’s. They are pretty stingy with the green onions.The food usually pretty good.The cashiers could have a better attitude.

Let me start by saying, Me and my kids love coming to this waba grill, the food is always good and fresh and the portion they provide is worth the price. Our favorite is the waba bowl and the dumplings are delicious too !! I definitely recommend this waba grill in the high desert !!

UPDATE: As of today 11/16/21 I STILL HAVE NOT received any feedback from Waba grill. I submitted a claim through their website. Just shows how much they don’t care. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! PLEASE READ. Worst waba grill ever!!! This place gives the company a bad reputation. I ordered through DoorDash for just regular white rice chicken bowl with avocado on the side. I ordered for pick up may 7th, well something came up and I had to cancel the order. DoorDash did their part and refunded me. The next day may 8th, I ordered again because I was really craving it. So again, I ordered through DoorDash but this time for delivery. So my ordered gets here, I open the lid off the bowl, and boom! Horrible smell! I taste one piece of the chicken and it was spoil. The avocado was nearly black. I was sooooo upset. I looked at the receipt and seen that it had May 7th date, they give me food from the day before!!!! The food that I originally ordered and cancel!!!! How????? I don’t understand how the employees can be this petty!!!! I could’ve easily got food poisoning from the spoiled chicken. And that would’ve been a big lawsuit for waba grill. But I understand that it’s not the company’s fault but the EMPLOYEES THAt WORK THERE!!! If I can rate them NO STARS I would.

Horrible experience. I am very pregnant with my due date less than two weeks away and was craving waba grill. Got two plates both with double salad. They gave us rotten spring mix that was complete mush. The chicken was not prepared well or cut fully and my boyfriend found a bone is his that cut the roof of his mouth. Attached is a picture of all the food that went in the garbage. What a waste. I will not be a customer here.

The B rating on the door is way too kind! Today, 9/11/21 @ 2:30pm there was only one employee on duty. The kitchen and floor was filthy as usual. The employee on duty was unprofessional and did not have his hair covered. He also was not attentive to customers and kept me waiting for far too long! Horrible disgusting place! Beware!!

Went in after a while, their menu changed dramatically. Hard to see things. Next, they forgot the dumplings I had ordered once we arrived back home. It was a ten minute drive back and forth so we couldnt go back. Then for an extra 2 dollar charge they were sure cheap on the steak. Barely anything except the veggies, which were severely undercooked.And this was during no line. No one was in the store when I went in. It was not a good time.

I wish I would have gotten the young man name..I would like to give him a shout out on an amazing job he did today. Talk about taking pride in his work. He was cleaning, taking order and even cooking. Sadly, the other co-work was doing dishes and once he was done, he just told the guy he was taking his lunch which the guy was shocked because the place was very busy and left him hanging. Now, that guy needs to be fired, leaving your co-work out to dry like that, now that sad. I watch this guys cook take off gloves put on new gloves made sure he didnt contaminated anything. He had a tattoo on left hand I want the right guy to get the credit. I order plants base bowl. I hope this guy gets a raise. Now, this is what customer service is all about. He made my day seeing someone really caring about his job and the customers. Now, he should get paid $15.00 an hours, if not more, manage material. Thanks for taking good care of me and all the other customer you service today all om your own.

Rude! Employees cant manage to speak a full sentence without walking away or an eye roll. Have been waiting 10 min for food and still nothing. 2 others at counter have been waiting at least 15. First and last time ever coming here. For the price service should at least be the bare minimum but they cant manage that. Lady taking orders did absolutely nothing to help the other person actually working. Soda fountain isnt working but werent told that the bottled was for combo meals until we asked. It used to be a really good place to enjoy food.. Now the girls looks like they’re fighting in the back, one of them smoking by the back door with a pipe, the girls who attends the register eating while she “works” you can see her food inside her mouth… and the worst you can taste the meat is uncooked… 😞 Besides no napkins, water fountains and the restroom is not on service😡. I won’t ever come back.

My delivery order was sent incomplete incomplete. I ordered directly from the WaBa Grill website so the delivery service couldnt do anything to help me other than take a report. I attempted to call the restaurant but there was no answer after multiple attempts. Driver told the delivery service call center rep that there was only one person working at the local WaBa Grill and that they looked overwhelmed. This was a horrible experience as I spent quite a bit of time on the phone frustrated and frustrated my family who was waiting for me to eat.

Stomach craps and nausea and as for me nausea. The soda fountain doesnt work so we had to buy bottles of soda from them and my husbands soda wasnt even sealed. It had been opened. To be honest, the manager needs to consider who is being hired. Take the time to actually interview someone and see if they’re truly a fit. I understand this isn’t a fast food, but it looks like every worker is slow and lazy with preparing orders and meeting a customers needs. I’ve never seen a company want to lose money and miss out on customers, the employees were denying walk in customers and phone orders at 5pm because they “ had to catch up on orders” they had five tickets to work on and couldn’t take anymore orders? So are the employees running waba grills business and money flow? out of four main floor employees, you can’t get orders done and still take customers orders? I wouldn’t be surprised to see the success of this business go down. train your employees better, one employee was taking 7 mins to wipe down counters and taking his time to restock items, inefficient workers, needs better management I wouldn’t ever recommend this location.

Had the WORST experience here two days ago. I had an online order and notified an employee of my online order and she said it’d be just a minute. So I patiently waited after 30-40 minutes of everyone else getting their order I asked again for my order. Again I was told just a minute so I waited some more. An hour goes by and I go to find out why I haven’t received anything just for the same employee to tell me they aren’t receiving or taking any online orders. I go to my car to contact the website the order was from and the website tells me they have talked to them and that I should’ve went up to a cashier. I tell them that I had and that they told me to wait. And that I had already waited over an hour for this food! The website then tells me 10 minutes later that the order is ready and all I have to do is go in there an pick it up. As I walk in two bags, not tied and no stickers to keep the food protected as a covid protocol, we’re placed on the counter in front of everyone ordering. I walked up and nobody asked if I needed help or ask why I was back in the store or if I needed anything. After another couple minutes of everyone standing around looking clueless they finally decide to ask what I need. I said I was here to pick up the order and they just pointed down to where it was. For the sake of your time and money do not eat here it’s not worth it at all. Especially being crowded up in that little business with 20 people inside trying to order and pickup.

I am writing this from outside of your Victorville, CA location off of Roy Rogers Dr. I was just notified at 9:30 pm that your store was out of everything and that they were prepping to close (store closes at 10:00 pm). I have worked fast food before and I know this is unprofessional and lazy on the workers part.The workers are continuing to serve what looks like Uber Eats or Dash pick ups but turned me away. I am completely done with the level of disrespect I just received from the store manager following; their staff / cook failure to prepare my food in the occuring to its proper manner but instead my meal was completely disappointing. My bowl had no waba sauce, meat was rubbery. I was informed by the staff theyre low on supplies therefore theyve been advised to portion it and refrain from adding it to.the bowls.Since, this meal wasnt being eaten by me, I contacted them, was advised to return the next day with the food and receipt. So I follow through with returning the food with recipe for my cash, but was advised that they dont return cash. I challenged the the business doesnt have it posted or on my receiptbut Mr. Ernesto said so what.I unfortunately had to select a star or this location would have receive an 0. Once my party and I walked up she told us we couldn’t pay with card. My rating is a 3 due to poor quality burnt over charred chicken. I gave it a 3 because of the rice. It was sticky just how I like it. Please next time skip serving the darker pieces. Waba is always my favorite go-to for fresh teriyaki. We moved to the Victorville area three months ago and of course we ran right over to this location. Sorry to say, have not liked the food one time. We’ve gone at least 5-6 times now. The fish is always So dry with a bad “fishy” taste, and the salad is wilted or water logged. With our last visit, I received terribly oxidized avocado on both orders. Not only disappointing but a total disregard for your customers. For a $27+ takeout, I think they should make it a point to do better than this. I’m writing this novel (lol) because I do love Waba and nothing but great experience at other locations. Unfortunately I won’t go back to this one, but I really hope their mgmt staff can spark things up.

Im always a fan of WaBa Grills food, but the experience at the Victorville shop was not great. The staff was fairly friendly, but the music in the store was WAY loud. I get it, you want to listen to music, but it made it much less pleasant. It was too cold out to sit outside, so we just sat through the irritating music.
