This place is awful. Terrible customer service, terrible serving sizes, you ask for chicken and meat bowl and all they give you is a bowl of rice. They need to know/learn that three pieces of chicken and a piece of meat isn’t enough. FIX THE SERVING SIZE ALREADY! Been going for a while hoping they’ll have fixed by now but noo. And don’t even order extra meat or chicken at all they’ll give you a teaspoon. And if you think I’m joking look at what those employees gave me.

An employee that goes by the name of Colten really just changed my whole view on customer service. This was my first time going out somewhere to eat in a while because of a traumatic experience I had a couple years back. Colten was so nice and genuine. This was my first time at Waba Grill and I had no idea what to get, but Colten recommended me the chicken bowl and it was super good. I gave him a personal tip of $50 for his wonderful customer service. We need more people like Colten.

The food was great but I noticed that The cashier was also handling food without washing their hands And they also have some chewbacca looking guy with his hair all over the place in the kitchen Dont think thats very sanitary but the food was great 1st place Ive ever been to where they have hair flying everywhere on people thought it was kind of unsanitary And for some reason my fish taste like chicken And they seem not to have enough staff there should be 2 cooks in the kitchen

Service is HORRIBLE. Waited in total 40 minutes for my order. And this is supposed to be a fast food place. Also, this wasnt rush hour, this was a Sun night.When I got there, there was no line, I was first. Rather than welcome me or say anything, I literally had to wait 15m to even be acknowledged. Even then, it was only because the person behind me asked what the hold-up was. Rather than ask me how she could help she just started taking his order. She seemed like she didnt want to be there. No apology for the wait or ignoring me, nothing.Then had to wait another 25m for my actual food. Again, no apology for the long wait.The food was good, only saving grace, but not amazing or worth a 40m wait and interacting with lame employees. The older gentleman making the food seemed like a hard worker. They were definitely understaffed.

The 3 staff didnt have any idea where the gift cards were kept, once found, they had to call someone on the phone on how to process it. I am so disappointed with the level of help here. More basic side of chicken order was even mixed up I ordered and I ordered 10 dumplings and when I got home there where only 5 yet charged for 10. Very disappointed and would like a manager to reach out to me. Im so afraid the gift card will be I correctly processed. Its for a birthday gift and I will be mortified if my $50 gift card is rejected by the birthday recipient. Stay tuned to see if the card can be used. No faith in the staff at all.

The food looks great and its probably worth trying however the customer service definitely need some improvement. I came in and was interested in low carb menu options that they had. When I left the cashier know that I was looking for something a little car, her response was, do you need a minute to decide? I would have liked to be offered some suggestions on low carb menu options. Instead, I overpaid for what I ordered and I didnt feel like I was helped very much.

The tables were soaked in wood polish, absolutely SOAKED, they stained my sleeves, my friend finished her food before mine ever finished and when it did it was the wrong food. I went in and ordered my food my mask slipped a little and the manager freaked out on me about my mask made myself and the people around me very uncomfortable. I said I’ll pull it up and she rudely said you better or I’m going to not take your order. Ordered my food and walked to the back of the store and started to scratch my nose once again the manager made a very snide comment and made me feel more uncomfortable. So I told her I would wait outside. While waiting outside I took my mask if she walked to the door and refused to give me my food until I put a mask on. This is absurd I Was out side there was no one around just give me my food. I realize we are in the back side of covid but the customer service her was horrible I will not return and I will tell everyone I know not to go here because I should have never been treated that way

Food is contaminated, staff dont know, or they dont get trained to understand the Bible of the culinary arts due to mixing work knives and cutting tables for the same meat. Rule number one you dont mix chicken with meat or cut the meat with the same knife; you cut the chicken or use the same cutting table. That is a no, no chicken and beef mixing is wrongful doing. You dont offer customers mixing of beef and chicken togethe😡👎 I will not go eat there even again, the meat that I ordered tasted like chicken my son is allergicto chicken and it cause him an allergic reaction, they want to show everything they do and that they arent clean.

At the Chula Vista location the employees seem very unhappy and unfriendly and thats too bad because its the closest one to me. I visited a location in San Bernadino/ Riverside on my way back from Big Bear and there was a huge difference in customer service. The other location didnt keep their sauces in the back counter out of customers reach. They were also very welcoming and personable. CV location is ghetto. The girl seemed annoyed that I asked her to pour me a container of serrano sauce when she only gave me the sauces that came in packets. Oh well, maybe management should go back to keeping the sauces on the counter for customers.

I placed my order online like they asked. I guess that gives them the liberty to give me a bowl with no broccoli or onions like I specified. When I went back to get my money back they told me the manager would call me back to issue me the refund. I just got off the phone with the manager. I explained again that my bowl had no broccoli literally. She said give me 15 minutes to look into this. Seriously what do you need to look into. I came in at 8:28 exact. And they said they were out of white rice, which is my favorite rice. And not only that. The female cashier up front also said they did not have any veggies and that they were closing early. So then I asked politely that if they didn’t mind making me a bit veggies because after the gym I wanted a healthy meal. They said said no making me a face that made me feel so uncomfortable. I will never come back here again. I will be taking my money back to chipotle we’re the employees make me feel like home and wouldn’t mind making me a little meal.

The concept of waba grill at this location is good. But the employees other then the managed move really slow and some have difficulty with english. The food is always gonna be the same. Just work on the cistomer service and maybe some knife training from what i can see over the counter. And train them on the menu you guys have also. Ive had a moment where i asked for a veggie bowl and the employee was so confused on to why i didnt want meat with my bowl??
