Waba grill is one of my absolute favorite food places. When Im looking for something filling and relatively healthier than fast food, its always Waba grill. Their wild salmon bowl is my favorite, and my friends are very fond of their dumplings. Good food for a good price! They also have good sauces, and generally the food is tastier than other similar rice-meat-veggie-bowl places.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time this place has messed up my order. I always ask for green onions and they never give them to me. I ordered a steak bowl with green onions. They just gave me rice and meat. Either the employees here are incompetent and can’t follow simple instructions or they’re extremely lazy. How hard is it to sprinkle some green onions on the bowl?

I ordered via Uber Eats a family-size chicken with half brown and white rice, plus veggies, no sauce, for $25.60. They delivered a one-person size bowl. With sauce.I called immediately upon delivery but first got some ‘Justin’ who kept arguing that my order was for a bowl so they delivered a bowl. While charging $25.60 for that chicken bowl...The owner soon reached out to me to explain that the Uber driver picked up the wrong bag and very kindly offered to prepare at no cost the real family-sized chicken, which I picked up today. It was excellent, as always at WaBa. And the additional dumplings he offered were a fest for the kids.Thank you, Panos, for fixing the issue quickly and efficiently. You have the right sense of fairness and customer relations.

Food at waba grill is usually good, but the employees at this branch can sometimes get your order wrong and this store actually charges $1-2 more for meat than other branches. If you love the food try another branch if you want to save your money

WaBa grill is delicious and healthy, convenient, and cost effective. The steaming and charbroiling process on their food makes most of their food moist and flavorful; it is a healthier cooking process than frying chicken which is most conventional type of chicken in the American diet. It’s close to my home and university and is in a plaza that host many other great restaurants and establishments. Lastly, the most expensive item is $12.79, that being the Wild caught salmon, so it’s pretty awesome.

They asked me to do a google review for a free drink prior to my experience. I wanted a drink, so I was like “Yeah, cool, 5 stars!”. But they “ran out of tea a few days ago” and that was literally the only thing I wanted from the fountain. My potstickers were grilled too long and my veggies were more blanched than steamed. I asked to dine in and they packed my food to-go only for the dude to pull all my food out without gloves and awkwardly tray it in front of me.I’ve been to quite a few Wabas, they’ll need to do some work to catch up.

Then our order of 20 dumpling sat on the counter while the order was made. Waba grill has the same concept as Flame Broiler but I find the food to be better tasting at WaBa grill.Their chicken bowl is good. They dont over apply the teriyaki sauce like some other places do and their portions are generous.This location gets busy from time to time because its walking distance from CSUN. Students tend to come here to eat for lunch and dinner.
