This place isnt bad but they skim on the chicken alot, the Rialto location on Foothill and Cedar was my go-to spot before I moved to San Bernardino 2 years ago and they would have it packed to the top, and this spot off University makes me feel like I bought a kids meal lol

Appears to be new employee that wasn’t trained correctly and is upset with customers because it’s become to overwhelming for her to handle. A simple request of sweet & spicy chicken instead of regular chicken puts her on edge. A simple let’s put the least trained employee for the holiday she’ll figure it out.

WaBa Grill by University Parkway in San Bernardino makes delicious grilled chicken, it actually tastes grilled and has a great texture! Not all WaBa Grills taste as great as this one! Also, this WaBa Grill gives you a generous amount of the mix of halapeño with carrots! Ask for the mix of halapeño with carrots. If you enjoy spicy, put the mix of halapeño and carrots on top of your food it is tasty!WaBa Grill is a great healthy choice of delicious food.

This franchisee is very cheap with condiments (only one Waba sauce) and paper napkins (two small thin ones) included in a purchase in comparison to other locations. I will take my business somewhere else.

Food was good, same as any other location. Spent $17.25 on just a double chicken bowl without a drink and they have the audacity to say they can only give me one sauce for free. If your good requires sauce to be enjoyed, you should include it. Waba as a whole is going downhill.

Im a huge fan of W.G, however I went In for an order and for some odd reason they would not accept my 50 dollar bill to pay. It wasnt fake since it came from my bank and there were no signs or displays of it restricting the use of Bills higher than 20, so I found it highly inconvenient. I understand for the safety of the host and people of the register but since there are nothing stating no use of high Bills, I find it terrible. Well at least McDonalds had no issue with my high tender bill.

I have ordered from this place before and the food is really good but I recently started to notice that there’s something wrong with the brown rice every time I order a chicken bowl or salmon bowl. At first the rice tasted a bit off, like kinda like rotten and weird but I still ate it because I thought I was being a bit dramatic and it wasn’t that big of a deal. But like 2 weeks ago I ordered a salmon bowl with brown rice and I got home and I started to eat my bowl. Once I get a bite of the rice it tasted soo nasty, I usually if food taste like not good I’ll still eat it just to not waste food, especially if I bought it with my own money. But I couldn’t take another bite of that bowl I got, the rice taste horrendous. It tasted rotten and mushy, but I literally saw the employees cooking the rice. Which made me think it would taste better since it’s freshly cooked. I have a feeling that this place isn’t sanitary at all and don’t wash their rice pots and cutting boards. I will not order a bowl or plate from this place anymore. But the dumplings are really good though.

I went to get a free bowl with the promotion, it didn’t work. But I just went ahead and bought a tofu bowl anyways. It tasted horrible.. the rice was mushy and the vegetables tasted like dish water it made my whole meal taste like dish water. I felt sick after I ate it. The lady working too was very rude. Never again.

This evening I went in to order a chicken bowl with extra Waba sauce and hot sauce. The service was great, The food was scrumptious with superior quality. The chicken was so tender, juicy and mouth watering, the rice was enjoyable and the sauce was very very delicious . The employees CHRISTOPHER WILLIAMS and JOSEPH JACKSON did an outstanding job with serving me today. They deserve a raise. They are high minding, hardworking, outstanding individuals. I was well pleased, I appreciate the effort from these young men. You will see me here again most definitely 10/10 :)))))))))))))

First they cancel my order. I try ordering again because I think its a mistake with the app. I accidentally order carry out instead of delivery so I tried to cancel the order. It didnt let me cancel and directed me to the number listed here. I called it multiple times to try and cancel before the order was made. They did not answer even once, at one point Im sure they just took the receiver off so it wouldnt ring.

One of the worse ran franchises I been to. Typically try avoiding eating here, had many bad costumer service experiences. This may time I had a free bowl from collecting points, the app gives you 30 seconds to redeem, which is dumb, but the girl managed to enter the number, I saw my total go down ton$15 from $23, which I new the code worked. She then moved something on the register and ran my order again, of course the code wouldn’t work since it was redeemed already. I’m sure she did it on purpose. I’ll just drive to the one off palm when I’m working on the area from now on.

The guy working there I think Timothy was SUPER NICE !! Best customer service I’ve had in a while !! The best (: one fatal mistake though. We payed for avocado and didn’t get any. I was really sad to see this because for some reason this is the third time in a row at three different locations where they forgot or ran out of a avocado. I was so happy with the customer service I didn’t bother checking my food until I got home. Only to see ... that there was no avocado. My heart was really sad but it’s okay! This place was cool !! Please don’t forget the avocado !! Especially since it’s so expensive lol

Called for a to go order. Specifically requested brown rice on both WaBa bowls. Came in and waited even longer for the girl to notice I was waiting to pick up my order. Went home to find out I did not get brown rice I got white rice. Not only was it WHITE RICE, the rice was practically oatmeal. Sooooooooo disgusting. Checked my receipt and it said brown rice. I was highly upset and will not be returning. Please re-train your employees.

While being served by molly at this location the following situation occurred.We came to get 3 mealswaba plate (steak and chicken)chicken vegetable bowlsteak vegetable bowlwhile asking for our meal Molly told us that they were out of steak.we changed our orders to chicken only orders and I asked if I could get salmon instead of steak, and molly told me she couldnt replace it because the salmon was a signature item.I then choose instead to get 2 shrimp skewers instead.while sitting down, waiting for our meal to be prepared, we watched as one of the cooks dropped 5 pounds of steak on the cooking surface.so now Im sitting here in the waba lobby waiting for our meal, after the people who arrived 10 minutes after us have already been serviced with What we were told was unavailable to us.what kind of customer experience is this.(Im posting a copy of this on Google review within 48 hours of submitting this if I havent seen some reasonable resolution to this in that time. )I gave this company time to respond to how I felt at the situation before deciding to post on this website about how I felt that they handle this. its been over a week and I have not no response to this situation this is why I feel absolutely justified in giving them a rating of 1

So let me first start by saying I was a regular to this location. I went to here about three days ago and got a waba bowl. I waited about 15 minutes for the food to be made (when no one was there). The whole time I was there, the cutting board was sitting there covered in steal juice.....clean the dang board, thats nasty!But thats not even the worst part. I get my bowl and go home. I started eating my bowl at home and everything tastes like fish. After about half way through the bowl, I threw it away because it tasted so nasty. So I called the location and complained. They said they would make it right, so I wasnt going to leave a bad review.So.i come I today to get that bowl they said they would give me for free and the manager essentially calls me a liar, saying that they never cooked fish that day. I hope you realize me taking the time to write this long review that I wasnt lying and now you have earned yourself a bad review.And its not.the first time you guys messed up either. I ask for no cabbage, and twice you guys put cabbage in my bowl. I also pay extra for avocado and you guys have forgotten that as well. I never complained once! Now you have my complaints and lost a customer who comes three times a week minimum there. The one off kendal is far better anyways. Good luck.

The salmon at Flemings is my favorite, but I wasnt willing to pay $100 for lunch today. The salmon at Black Angus is my second favorite, and I was willing to plop down $30 for it, but really didnt feel like driving across town. BJs used to have good Blackened Salmon, but not anymore, and the whole Chilis restaurant food quality has bottomed out. So I decided to take a chance on WaBa Grill today for the first time and MAN! I have been missing out! I totally thought it was going to be dry and taste like hot tuna, but I WAS IMPRESSED. It was cooked perfectly, moist, flakey, and really tasty! It was only like $10 for the Salmon Plate, and I kept thinking how I have paid twice that at other places and had to either send it back or throw it out. WaBa Grill is now on my very short list of places to get good salmon!!

Horrible location!!! first time I went there I ordered the rib plate and they gave me all bones... I called them and said they had a bad order of ribs... they knew they were like that and still served it!!! second time I ordered a steak and pork plate and they said they cant do that when I ordered the same thing from the rialto to store and they did it. they have absolutely no customer service experience. Go to the rialto location better. Never will I come back to this one!!!!!.
