Food is good, not great, but the atmosphere is really bad because of the horrible choice of music. Obviously they are playing it for themselves and not for the customers because no one would choose music like that for customers. It seems like the same bad song over and over, pounding drums and somebody yelling (not singing) off key. I just wanted to finish my food quickly and get out of there.Service was OK but they cant seem to bother to utter a single smile, and they made me feel like I was bothering them.The worst part was that they didnt know their own exterior sineage and they ended up charging me for something that was supposed to be free with an order of a bowl. I asked for the healthy option on the go that was painted outside on the glass by the front door, and they had no clue what I meant. Then I pointed out that per Google search result which I showed them, with the bowl I was supposed to get 5 free dumplings but I didnt, and they ended up charging me a small fee for them because they didnt know how the coupon worked.The place was pretty clean though the missing ceiling tile and some stained ceiling tiles didnt really look good.Too many things adding up to a bad enough experience that I wont be back there anymore. No wonder the place was pretty much empty.

Beware if you order dumplings make sure you check they dont even add the dumplings.The owners of this particular franchise are super cheap and greedy. They are lying about a national sauce shortage. They are literally the only waba grill that is limiting sauce. Pinching pennies at the expense of the customers well they pay their employees pennies.

Checked out Waba Grill for the first time since the pandemic. Always thought the food was slightly above average, never disappointed at all really. So today I popped in (April 12, 2021). I noticed that they finally have indoor seating, limited to 20 guests at a time. The tables are spaced out a considerable distance. I decided on the sweet and spicy chicken bowl with veggies and white rice. Total after tax was $9.19. I guess thats fair, as the bowl is pretty decently sized.On to the food: The chicken was really good. A great combination of sweet and heat (4/10 on the spicy scale. Anyone who likes spicy stuff should find it satisfying, though its not super hot, which is a good thing). The veggies are steamed or blanched - cant tell. Either way, theyre crispy while still being cooked. I liked them a lot.All in all, come stop by if youre craving a decent rice bowl. Nice flavor, well put together, maybe a bit more expensive than it should be but not too bad! Recommended!

Nice place to enjoy food. Waba Grill is a place I go to frequently and often recommend to my friends. Its a sorta cozy place to enjoy your food without being interrupted. The service is great and they where able to hold my drink for me when I forgot it one time. The staff is reliable and calm. Though sometimes its cut short and can overwork the employees. That would be the reason to have 4 stars.

Worst service ever. Knowone taking orders. Standing around talking to each other while people are in line. 30 min to make 1 rice bowl. Never coming back here.

Always fast service and friendly staff. I usually get the steak and rice bowl or the chicken and rice bowl and visit once a week.

This place just opened in my neighborhood. I have been there 3 times so far and the food was overcooked 2 out of 3 times and service has been poor 2 out of 3 also. These are my first times ever at waba. I think ill go back to OMG grill which is a little farther away.Went back after 5 years and got food poisoning. :(

I can only give 2 stars unfortunately because, though service was pretty fast and very friendly, the food was just not up to par. I had the steak and chicken plate, and the chicken was on the dry side ( even with extra waba sauce) and the steak tasted way worse, old and with an unpleasant aftertaste. As hungry as I was, I just couldn’t finish the meal. I’ve had this combo at this Waba before, so I know they can do better. I don’t think I’ll be going back to this Waba Grill in the future.
