I travel all over So Cal, I eat Waba weekly. I always order chicken or steak veggie with white rice. (Easy rice) well this location was almost all rice very little veggies and meat. Had to throw half of my $13 bowl out. I feel that the rice is the cheapest ingredient and they are just trying to make more of a profit. Will not go back when in the area.

I think they could do alot better on the ratio of meat to rice. I would say it is 75% to 78% rice and maybe 25% meat. It should have more meat instead of the whole bowl being rice. The food tastes great but I wont be eating here very much because the price doesnt justify the amount you receive.

I have been going to this place for lunch all the time lately. And the service is absolutely phenomenal. And there isn’t a better deal in town. It’s right next to my gym. And it’s incredibly healthy. I’m very impressed with this establishment.

A friend and I went here last night 7/1/2023 around 8pm and had a really terrible experience. Firstly, the place was completely empty yet the staff refused to greet us or smile as we walked in. Ok no problem, maybe thats how they do things here. We walked up the counter and my friend wanted a shrimp plate with no veggies but double the shrimp. The employee immediately cut my friend off and was told that they dont do custom orders here even though we were willing to pay extra for the double shrimp portion.... What kind of a healthy food restaurant doesnt allow portions to be customized? We werent even asking for a complicated order, just double meat portions..... Because of this experience I cannot recommend Waba Grill to anyone that has specific nutritional needs.

Ordered the mini bowl with chicken. Saturday July 1, 2023. The woman at the counter seemed to get some sort of delight in telling me that I was only getting rice & chicken and nothing else. Ive ordered this dish many times at other Wabas and this is the first to not give any green onions with the order ( no access to get any onions unless asking for them it appears) . Other customers food in the restaurant had these onions on their plates. Therefore this store holds back these condiments which is most likely out of balance with company policy. Not impressed. Will avoid this place..August 28, 2023.in reviewing my post from July 1, 2023it appears that someone else posted a bad review FROM THE SAME DAYHe must have run into the same RUDE WOMAN ( elderly from another country of origin) whose rigidity, lack of friendliness, and callous interpretations of the menu were on display .The fact that the owner would put someone with this demeanor as the first contact to order for a new customer reflects poorly on personnel choices

Ordered online and showed up and they had not started on my order. To top it off I paid extra for the white meat and did not get white meat and the salad was literally inedible. So much for having dinner

NEW OWNERSHIP !! The manager and owner are really generous. They are already doing such a great job with the place and cant wait to see what more they have to offer !!Food is amazing. I just dont have enough words to explain how grateful I am to have a healthy food option in town which satisfies those those taste buds. Keep up the good work guys !!

I ordered food online through their website; i got notified that it was delivered (a half hour before the selected delivery time) but I can assure you IT WAS NOT DELIVERED. I called the restaurant and immediately upon answer was put on hold aka the phone was set down and never picked back up. how do I know it was never picked back up? I know bc I hung up after ten minutes of waiting and repeatedly tried to call back.. but the phone remains off the hook. thank you for absolutely nothing!

So sad in this day and age of Restaurants Galore that Waba Grill has become the latest price gouger out there. Is Gouger even a word? Perhaps Not. Walked in here tonight with the intention of getting my Grub on... sadly it would Not happen. Waited a couple of minutes for the girl to come to the register. Noticed prices went up (not terribly, just a few cents here and there). Went to order my staple, The Waba Signature Plate. Was told, quite rudely, that I would have to pay Extra since I didnt want Rice. Sure, penalize me for wanting to be healthy. No More Waba for me!! Im done with them. So sad cause I really liked their food. However, with an extra charge for being healthy and a side of attitude, No Thank you. Judging by the crowd in there. 2 people, they Probably couldve used my order of 8 Plates! Hungry family at home will Now be disappointed. Funny how a New Year and Perhaps new ownership changes things???
