Very cool store with fun and friendly owners Darrell and Osamu. I bought some beautiful plates for using and some for decoration and gifts. When I go back to Palm Springs I want to go back and buy a set of the knives they have. Super sharp and really high grade steel. Also tried and purchased several different sakes. Got a good buzz going LOL. I forgot how much I love sake, and there are so many varieties for different occasions. Thanks, Guys!!

The amazing owners have created an amazing place! The store has wonderful unique pieces. The knives available here are fantastic for cooking! Plus, they offer classes for various topics. We took the Sushi 101 class last night, it was fantastic. They make it fun and easy to understand!Great people...great place!

We love this store and always make sure to shop there when we are in PS. Sam and Darryl are friendly and knowledgeable about their products and always happy to share a recipe. Be sure to attend a saki tasting and don’t miss out on their monthly food classes (sign up for emails for info) . Tempted by the kitchenware but no room in your suitcase? Don’t worry, they offer shipping too! This store is considered a “don’t miss” by both locals and frequent visitors to Palm Springs, so put it on your “places to go” list right now!

My husband and I did a sake flight tasting and darryl explained to us so much about the history and flavors of each sake. He was passionate and knowledgeable. If you have some time do this experience it is well worth it. We also bought a few items that were beautifully made. Cant wait to come back! Thanks for the great customer service!

Beautiful, unique tableware from Japan with books, food and other joys to discover. Owners are very friendly and I make it a point to always stop by the store when Im anywhere near Palm Springs.

Wonderful selection of handcrafted Japanese dinnerware. We purchased some pieces on a trip to Palm Springs and unfortunately a couple items broke on the airplane home (our fault). We love and use them so much so we ordered more about a year later. The wonderful staff at Wabi Sabi helped us match our set and shipped them to us in New Orleans (all in tact!). The pieces are beautiful, dishwasher and microwave safe, and have held up very well.

Highly recommend doing a sake tasting! Youll have to leave with a bottle or two after, thats how good it is. You learn so much and theres so many more flavors than you expect :) the owners are super personable and such good vibes

Truly a little hidden gem in Palm Springs. Very authentic pieces that are handcrafted and have a real story behind them. The owner is very knowledgeable about all of his products he carries and cares about quality. Definitely worth a stop on your walk through downtown!

We went before, and loved it. Got good stuff at an affordable price. Wanted to go again, and drove 1 hour to visit the store. Their hours have changed because of “Summer Siesta” and they are closed from 2-5:30. We showed up at 5:30, and they had a sign that said “Be back at 7pm”. Total bummer

My husband and I were truly impressed at all of the amazing imports, sake selection, and gifts that filled this great space. We enjoyed 2 difference Sake flights, that the owner Sam lead us through...adding much knowledge to what we were tasting. The ceramics that they carry are simply gorgeous. I cant say enjoy about Wabi Sabi Japan Living. Go and enjoy!!

With a well-curated eye and thorough knowledge of their products, owners Darrell and Sam bring a wonderful, cultural gem to downtown Palm Springs. This is a pleasing store, filled with interesting products, artifacts, home & beauty goods from different regions of Japan. Darrell and Sam also host sake tastings to their 21+ customers, as well as bonsai classes, so one can be fully immersed in the Wabi Sabi lifestyle. This is such an enjoyable shopping experience; it is a must-see on your next Palm Springs visit! A+

I love this place!!!! It is very unique and the owners are lovely !!! Not only do they have the finest and most reasonably priced japanese items but they also have an interactive sake tasting bar. How cool is that ?????So they have a bunch of sakes from Japan and the owner can actully prepare a sake tasting while you shop. They also explain the sakes to you and will answer any questions you have . So if you are ever in Palm Springs make sure to check them out. Wabi Sabi is a new hodden gem in PS I think ! Thank you Sam and Darrell for the experience yesterday . I definitely will come back and bring friends !!!

The most unique store in Palm Springs featuring everything for your Japan Living needs. From cookware to dinnerware, the sharpest knives, sakes and beers....and even kimonos....Wabi Sabi has it all!.....starting today (10-10-20) they have most of their items on sale from 25%-50%.......with such a large following, these items will move.....I almost forgot the unusual green plants.....I have had mine for over 2 years.

The store is run by a Japanese owner, and has a wide selection of Japanese tableware, miscellaneous goods, drinks, and alcohol.Miscellaneous goods and tableware are reasonably priced, so if you live here, I think you can get some great deals.I was surprised that there was a takoyaki machine.We have a lineup of alcoholic beverages that you dont often find in American stores, such as Dassai and Orion Beer, so if you like alcohol, were sure to please.The owner was also friendly and I couldnt help but get into a conversation with him.Next time Im in Palm Springs, Id definitely like to stop by this restaurant again.
