The Wagyu House lives up to what it promises to deliver. It is a premium, authentic hot pot experience with high quality meat, immersive atmosphere, and rapid service. My favorites were the sauce and snack bar that gave even the most picky eater all the power to make their specific style of sauce. The side snacks and fruits were very similar to my experience eating in restaurants in China and felt that they did not sacrifice in quality even for the unlimited items. As other reviewers mentioned, they even include a Chinese face-shifting performer in the middle of dining.My only critique is the member business model that this restaurant pushes heavily. This restaurant has a membership for $38/year and many items have a non-member price, sometimes nearly double the member price. In my subjective opinion, the way that this restaurant pushes the membership onto you throughout your meal takes away from the dining experience, especially for the foodies out there who find beauty in exploring many food options rather than sticking to one restaurant. However, I would still recommend this restaurant as a perfect place to take a date or bring your family to.

Overall great atmosphere, ambience, and excellent service. One star knocked off on food for certain items that did not meet expectations.The good:- Excellent service. You can call the waiter any time with the button on the tablet- they were knowledgeable about the NFT offerings- they have a cool booth to blow off the smell from you- awesome sauce bar that is kept clean.- fruit at sauce bar is freshe such as the pineapple and honeydew- very good wagyu and good presentation- nice welcome gift for becoming a memberThe not so good- ordered the holiday menu which I feel was not worth $500. Would just do a la carte next time- they are stingy with the short rib item. Slices are so thin and did not give many slices- shredded potato is not shreded potato. It is simply giant slices of potato- the fried pork appetizer is not good. Nobody liked it- the ice jelly dessert was too sweet for everyone at the table- they forgot to add the $9 credit for not having my nft item- did not like fried wagyu ballsOverall would come back again. A group of us had a great time eating here and it was my first time. We had a private room as well.We ordered everything a la carte, A5 beef, lamb, pork, tripe, fish, shrimp, frog legs, everything was really fresh. The sauce bar is so well stocked that I had a hard time choosing my mix. Watermelon juice is freshly squeezed and highly recommended for hotpot.They also have an actor playing the changing face show every day, the decor and atmosphere is well thought out! Hope I will be back soon since its a little out of my way. Please open a new location in South OC!

The meat was tasty and I liked their mushroom and tomato soup bases. Serve was a little slow today and we waited a while for water/drinks, help. One of the meat dishes looked a little different so we asked for a change which they gladly did. Will be going back for the meat quality!

Came here for their lunch special which was 75$, and we got two choices of meat, we upgrade the two meats for 25$ more. The meat was super tender. We got chrysanthemum vegetable and Napa cabbage. My complaint is one they don’t give you enough veggies and two, my 4 leaves of Napa cabbages were whole, they didn’t even cut it up, so it was super hard to eat. We were charged 6$ for the sauce bar, which is the first time, because shouldn’t it come with the meal? We order the wagu burger and it was super salty, and there’s not cheese or onion or tomato, it was definitely not a burger. The wagu fried rice was decent, but it could use more eggs. The mochi dessert was passable and not worth the calories. The only thing I like was the hot pot. The tea was pretty good too. Service was great. Atmosphere was beautiful.

My partner and I went to give this a try since she wanted to make me try a quality wagyu beef since its my first time.👌👌👌our wait staff was JERRY and maaaan he was really amazing. Hes very patient and will explain well what you need to know and make recommendations. I offered to tip him on his own account but rather said that all of them worked hard so hes like okay with sharing with everybody. Really sweet of him. I just believe he really did so great and his customer service is 💯 all the staff were really nice, and accomodating. this restaurant will thrive if they keep this kind of quality food and service.The restaurant itself looks fancy (for me), clean and they have their own salad bar/ condiments area which was nice. You may need to have an appointment it just so happened that we went there around 2230 so it wasnt packed with customers, so being a walk-in was a luck.they do have like a set for 2 guests which may be costly and it was around 200dollars something for two people but it should be enough if you do eat a lot or rather, youd rather go there if youre really haangrry. We opted to do some ala carte since I know we wont be able to finish the food.We are not really heavy eaters, so we opted for the individual hot pot and we got ourselves the chicken soup with enriched collagen which was really nutritious and the clear soup which was like a beef broth. I liked the baked bone which was really garlicky. we had boba tea and a pistachio drink since we dont take alcohol drinks recently. but they have options which would be perfect with their food. they have a tablet where theyd show the full menu.price wise, can be a little expensive but you will get quality food, quality service and palatable food so for me, it was worthit.overall, I would recommend this resto.
