The dining experience was Great minus a few hiccups from our servers. Felt like we were forgotten for a while but other than that. Wallys is amazing for our first experience here. Cant wait to come back. The menu is Great and Andrew did help with Any questions we may have had!! Great job.Clean restaurant, servers all looked really nice and put together. Inviting and welcoming from the moment we pulled up to the door. Thank you!

This place was awesome we took a seat at the bar. Extremely good live music very nice and friendly staff. The food is fantastic I had the best mushroom soup I have ever had and if you are going definitely get the chocolate souffle. Everything was great from start to finish all the way from the valley to the bar service and back to the valet.

We made THANKSGIVING DAY reservations and we were really looking forward to our late afternoon dinner however it did not go as expected. The wait for our table was long and in a very crowded area . My main complaint that took away from our anticipated dining experience is that the restaurant was over booked. We did not have any interaction with the staff as they were simply rushing around and seemed quite frazzled. Again, in my opinion by being over booked the customer suffered and it was a rough experience and not what we expected especially at the prices that were commanded. My fish was salty and oily and I could tell the presentation was hurried when it was plated-just not great looking when brought to our table. I believe if you are going to offer service on a holiday to not overbook so your valued customers have a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

My wife and I ate here several years ago before Covid and didn’t have a good experience. Set ice was slow and food was served cold. We decided to try again and called multiple times with no answer ( just an answering machine) left number but no call back. We are done with this place. For the price, there are many other great restaurants in the area that are better.

Classic atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. I have been a local resident for 20 years and have never had dinner at Wallys before. I was told jackets and ties were required so I was never very interested. Well my wife and I wanted to do something different for our anniversary so we decided to give it a try. Well jackets are no longer required but most of the guests dressed up anyways. The ambiance was dated but not in a bad way, it felt like you were going back in time to experience real fine dining. Our servers were very pleasant and attentive and the new owner even stopped by our table to wish us well. Overall definitely worth the experience.

Very bad experience on Thanksgiving. Tartlett was sweet instead of savory. Soup tasted like maple syrup. Turkey straight from a cafeteria. All this for $100 per head and a one hour wait. Other than the above, it was a wonderful experience....(sarcasm). Wallys has really gone downhill. Will never ever return.

Weve never been to this restaurant, decided to have Thanksgiving dinner here.The restaurant was completely overbooked, we were seated 40 minutes after our reservation, which is not acceptable. The restaurant offered complimentary champagne which eased the pain.The restaurant decor is completely outdated, felt like I was stepping back to the early 80s.The turkey was really good, and our servers did a great job and were tipped accordingly.Lastly, this is a place that adds a service charge to your bill, which we had removed.

Wallys is superb. Ive been a couple of times. Top-notch and attentive service throughout the dinner experience. Excellent food all around; I can think of very little to complain about. The atmosphere is semi-formal. I have been most comfortable dressing fancy however Ive seen other patrons come in completely casual. Live soft music is a very pleasant addition to the experience and is particularly nice when sitting in the bar area. It is expensive to eat here but I feel it is well worth it.

Amazing old school iconic restaurant! kept expecting Bob Hope to walk in at any moment.Great music, ambience, and fun just to people watch.Michael the owner comes to every table is very gregarious and has the staff to prove it, impeccable service. my water glass never got below half empty, just a magical experience.We had a spectacular dinner.My wife who is a gourmet cook couldnt stop raving about the Caesar salad and her braised short ribs were so tender, they melted in her mouth. The White fish was cooked perfectly. And the Lava cake dessert was off the charts!

Started out with the Cesar salad, and it was not good at all. Their was no green to the salad used and even sorta brown on the edges of the centers of romaine. The dressing was horrible, and the chef thinks if you throw a couple anchovies on it, it makes it a cesar salad. I told the staff and the waiter didnt even acknowledge it. I would suggest not ordering it and get the daily salad special as others in my party said it was good. I ordered the filet, which was cooked medium rare to perfection and a great cut of beef, but the crusted horseradish crust looked more like a patty of brown sugar than crusted horseradish. For the price and what I received, it was definitely not 5 star quality. We were there for a birthday and the two deserts we go were very good. The service was excellent. The staff was very attentive with refilling the warm bread and butter, keeping our waters filled, etc. Overall, there are much better steakhouses than Wallys. I dont think we will go back.

Really a wonderful experience. Fabulous food, exceptional service, accountability with the owner making her rounds to each table and if you so desired, smooth jazz at the bar. Nothing not to like. (Oh. And valet parking!)A hallmark of great institutions is continuity…Wally’s is a case study. I learned it’s been in the same family for 40 years and some members of the service staff have been their for decades. In an industry where turnover is all too common, Wally’s has solved this. Kudos to the management for building such a fine establishment.

Really excellent service... Which is a lost art at this point... There was also a live saxophonist who was really really good~ all the dishes were good. Souffles were amazing. I had the sea bass and scallops which I pretty much cleaned the plate. Hubby had the lamb chops which were good. Many had the steak and even the kids butter pasta was really good. Good for big groups. We had a private room for our group of 25 people. Really glad we booked this place.

This is a very nice restaurant with quite good service. However, I ordered my steak medium rate, leaning to the rare side. It came back well done the first time and medium the second. When queried I said it was better than the first effort, but still not what I ordered. I would have returned it again, but by this time my 5 companions were half way through their meals and I did not want to wait any longer and end up eating alone. My meal was not taken from the bill, I was more than a little disappointed to see. My wife and I paid $500 for our two meals, including wine. That was very expensive for a meal I did not enjoy. Given the server’s response I would not be inclined to return.Our friend had mushroom soup that he took one sip of and did not like. The server did not even seem to notice and did not query him about it. This is poor service in my view. Servers should notice and respond, particularly at a high quality place as this.

Hands down best abalone I’ve ever had!The DeLuca family, used to love coming here for the fashion shows, my grandparents Mr. and Mrs. DeLuca would help dress all of the models with their jewelry. I would go around explaining about the jewelry to try to help them with a show, the waitresses and the staff always took such good care of us. The ambience, the lighting, the bathroom is beautiful! We ate at Wally’s on Feb. 4, 2022, and highly recommend it. We can’t wait to go back! The service was perfectly attentive but never stuffy. Our servers were easy-going but somehow managed to time the arrival of our courses, drinks, etc., precisely. Our food was sooooo good!!! I especially recommend the mushroom velouté. My husband said the Dover sole he had was delicious. We shared the scalloped potatoes and those were also super yummy. My wife and I had dinner last night at Wallys. We had Tuna Tartare, Beef Carpaccio, Veil Chop, Scallops with Sea Bass.Based on other reviews and prices we expected something special. The tuna was too cold, pressed into a rectangular mold and tasted like it was made the day before. The Carpaccio was soggy, too thin, too cold and the beef was tasteless. Again it had been prepared some time before our ordering and refrigerated. The chop was ok but tuff otherwise well presented. The Sea bass was presented as a small thin square piece less than 1/4 inch thick with two (2) scallops that were in my estimation broiled earlier and reheated. The restaurant is very elegant and the staff is very professional but the food quality does not justify the price. This was our first visit.

We showed up w/o a rez and were seated in 10 minutes. 10 min later, I ordered a gimlet, my brother-in-law ordered a beer, my fiancee asked if they could make a virgin cocktail. Two friendly waiters kept threatening to bring us a dinner menu and/or our cocktails. 40 minutes & two dinner rolls later, we decided wed had enough and left. There wasnt even someone to ask why a gimlet, which takes 30 seconds to make, and a beer, which is literally the lowest effort item you can serve at a bar, were taking nearly an hour to serve. What a waste.

Im disappointed to say that Wallys desert turtle is not what it was the last time I was here in 2019. The salad which my wife and I both had was their Caesar, it was quite mediocre. I tasted the anchovy that was included with a salad and it was old and had a rank taste. I had the short rib entree, which had a nice sauce with it. But even though the short rib was very tender, it lacked flavor. In my opinion. Everything in fact seemed to be a little bit bland to my taste, and there were no condiments on the table that would allow one to add salt or pepper to taste. All in all, given the price of the meal, it was disappointing.

We had reservation at 6.30 PM on 6/7 restaurant week. We where sited where all the waiters pick up the menus they kept bumping in to me .The captain for the team was very rude did not have very good service manners., but He was also very busy but no excuse, it was packed with guests..The food was excellent as always our waitress was very nice. There was entertainment and He was great played soft music. I give them 3 stars because of J.B.

Went here for dinner during restaurant week and I was massively underwhelmed. The food was barely mediocre, it wasnt bad per se but if it wasnt good either and it was WAAAAAAYYY overpriced. I have no desire to ever go back again.

Went for opening night at Wallys and it was fabulous. Greeted by Yvonne at the helm for 38 years.. We had the escargot and shrimp cocktail with drinks in the lounge.
