Infinite samples and a wide variety of flavors. Every flavor is unique and delicious, something for everyone. One of the best ice cream spots in the area. The staff are really nice too. Great spot to hang out and satisfy your sweet tooth after a meal or late night. Open late too in old town Pasadena.

A cute place to get that sweet tasty treat.You can come in and sample the different flavors they have before you finally decide on the ones you want.The waffle cone is the way to go, get the split scoop you’re gonna want more than one flavor.Staff was great, also awesome to see Filipinos representation and flavors that people get to enjoy.Cultures are meant to be shared and appreciated.Love their fusions and seasonal flavors that change, it keep it fresh and allowing to come back to try something new.This place also has pie hole and pressed juicery inside.They have seating area by the window where you can enjoy your treat and people watch.Lots of stores that you can visit on your visit either before or after.Parking garages are close by just be mindful of the time that passes by either parking isn’t too expensive.

This ice cream is delicious! I had the mango sticky rice and it literally tasted like a mango sticky rice, just without the texture of the rice. I loved it. The people I was with also loved the black sesame, marshmallow and ube. Even the cones were delicious.

Some of the best ice cream Ive had recently - hoping they open a Seattle branch! Love the tasting trio option which was just the right size, and Im a sucker for Asian and tea flavors so had to try plenty. Particularly loved the Korean honey butter crunch and the Japanese Neopolitan :) Wanted the halo halo but they were sold out - maybe next time! Super friendly staff too and free samples of course.

By far my favorite ice cream chain that is sadly only in Los Angeles.Taking desserts and foods from across the world, they change them into delicious ice cream flavors that are so delicious. For instance, there is mango & sticky rice, pandan tres leches, tiramisu, milk tea, Japanese Neapolitan, among many more. They have a set menu, but it can change from month to month.While other locations have nicer venues with outdoor seating and a storefront, this one located inside of a food hall still delivers on quality.Typically, one receives the scoops in a cup, but they also have it in a fun cone, like taro.There are also plenty of dairy-free options, which is always a major plus!

Wanderlust is one of my favorite ice creameries of all time! I love their unique and global inspired flavors, and that they have specials every month. The two guys working behind the counter on a Thursday were super nice and helpful.My all time favorite flavor is their Passionfruit Cacao, which happens to be vegan/dairy-free. It’s so refreshing, tart, sweet and delicious! Their classic Vanilla is also another favorite of mine.This last time I got a trio scoop of Passionfruit Cacao, Pandan Tres Leches, and Berry-Lavender Eaton Mess (one of their April seasonal flavors). The Berry-Lavender is a plant based meringue ice cream with swirls of wildberry-lavender jam, and also just happens to be vegan and dairy free.My friends ordered the Hokey Pokey and the Mango Sticky Rice, and also loved their scoops.Everything was absolutely delicious!!!! Thank you!! Can’t wait to come back for more.

I always loves a spot that forces me out of my comfort zone! Whenever I get ice cream, I usually grab a plain chocolate cone which is why I love going to Wanderlust. There are so many fun and unique flavors to try and they’re always rotating! I fell in love with the Thai tea flavor they had recently and came back to try the new violet seasonal. I’ve never been disappointed! My go to spot when I’m looking for a treat in old town. Also the brown butter cone is to die for!

Delicious! Yummy! Good! Awesome! Great tasting ice cream. Not your average ice cream flavors. I got a sticky rice mango flavor scoop of ice cream it really has that same taste as mango sticky rice! They also have an ube flavor that i will definitely come back to try. Price is a bit high for such a small scoop but I guess with the flavors they offer I will pay it. Its very creamy and yummy and would recommend to anyone that loves ice cream! 😋

Love that they do a split single scoop at no extra charge. The flavors that were good were really good, but some were lacking. I thought the black sesame cookies and cream could have had a lot more sesame flavor, and my friend who got the smokey road did not get a flavor of smoke.The flavors that stood out in a good way were the pandan tres leches, ube malted crunch, and Japanese Neapolitan.For what it’s worth, I felt the ice cream was lacking some butterfat. The texture could have been improved, and the ice cream tasted a tad “watery”. To match their dedication to flavors they should use more cream.

Pretty much our go to spot for ice cream in downtown Pasadena ! We tried different flavors this time .. the line isn’t as long as sale and straw and the flavors here are just as good ! We had guava, Japanese neopolitan and the ube of course ! The sizing is a little different they don’t have full double scoops but half mini ones or three split ones . Which is fine since I don’t want to overdo it on the ice cream ! Will probably be back for more whenever we are in this area !

I love this artisanal ice cream place. The flavors are inspired from the owner’s travels around the world. Some flavors are exotic but are always worth a try. My go to flavor is the Japanese Neapolitan but this month Wanderlust features Filipino flavors. The brown butter sansrival and keso mangga are both rich and delicious!

While the flavors are delicious and the service is mostly acceptable, there was a recent incident where the associate was very impatient with us tasting their flavors, it wasn’t like we were tasting everything, we only asked for a total of 2-3, where in the past no matter how busy it was, the associates had said that we could sample as much as we wanted, not that we ever did. But there was literally no one else there and we made purchases. And for some reason, the associate decided that it was ok to reach across the counter to press on our screen and redeemed points that we definitely didn’t authorize. When I brought up that the point balance didn’t look correct, she said she didn’t see the balance before but that she did see that there was a free scoop that expired that day. I informed her that she had redeemed it and she denied it at first, but later she admitted to it and said she refunded it so it should be back on the account, which it was not. By this time, there was a customer waiting so she just slammed our ice cream on the counter and walked away. How very unprofessional. The only circumstance that she should be touching our screen is if we had asked for help, which we definitely did not. And she should have admitted and apologized for her actions and told us to contact corporate for the points to be reinstated

Most unique and delicious ice cream flavors youll find. Even though its on the pricey side, its totally worth it!Wanderlust drew me in with their Pint Drops, which features a limited pint each week. I signed up for their mailing list and was given a password to enter their site to purchase their limited boba ice cream flavors, but they sold out in less than 15 min! It was insane! So... instead of paying $20 for shipping on their non-limited pints, I bought the following flavors online for curbside pickup.1. Ube Malted Crunch - 6/5 - this is way better than any ice cream Ive tried. I love the little crunch bits and the creamy ube texture! I love it so much my family and I ate the whole pint in 3 days!2. Mango Sticky Rice - 4/5 - It tastes exactly as the dessert name states. Ive never had this flavor in ice cream form which makes this flavor super unique!3. Vietnamese Rocky Road - 5/5 - If you love coffee, youll love this flavor. It has hints of cacao nibs and coffee beans blended into a creamy ice cream. The coffee isnt too strong which makes it great for non-coffee drinkers too!4. Dewdrop White Peach Sorbet - 5/5 - The initial scoop had a sour kick, which was very light. The white peach is faint and refreshing for any hot day.5. Pandan Tres Leche - 5/5 - Very rich, gooey, and creamy ice cream with tres leche swirls.Curbside pickup is very fast and easy if no one else is in the loading zone. The only issue is that theres only one loading spot. All other zones in front of the shop are for the bus stop, so be careful because that can get a bit stressful and hectic.Id like to add, the pints taste better than ordering scoops. Especially when ordering the Ube Malted Crunch. I found little to no malted crunch bits in my scoop.

I remembered this place from a Try Guys episode and always wanted to try it.I wasnt sure what to get as all of the flavors were super unique (inspired by other countries and/or a wonderful mixture of flavors i have never heard of lol).I asked the employee whats the most popular flavor and she said the Ube flavor (im sorry i cant remember the exact name, but it had Ube in the name and was purple). 😃It was my first time trying Ube and let me tell you... IT WAS AMAZING!!! the ice cream was smooth and creamy and the ube had this lovely after taste that kept me wanting more! It wasnt overly sweet (which i appreciated) and i think i might have a new favorite ice cream flavor!!! 10/10 recommend (just be aware thatparking is tight as there were very few parking places). 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I had first visited this location during the grand opening. That night, their quality of service was apparent when I noticed they had Lactaid at the register for anyone who might need it. I knew Id return for Filipino American History Month.I came back after running errands in the area (Im from Downey) hoping to try the Pandan Tres Leches earlier this month. Unfortunately they were sold out that night, but the Sapin Sapin and Kalamansi Pie didnt disappoint. Would love to see Sapin Sapin as a permanent flavor.After telling my in-laws about this place, we planned a whole family outing. Everyone was excited to sample several flavors. The most difficult part about visiting Wanderlust is deciding which flavors to purchase. The staff was helpful in answering questions and never rushed our party of 7.All the flavors taste exactly like theyre described, and my family enjoyed the whole experience--especially my brother-in-law, whos a chef. I was pleasantly surprised to find Biko still available tonight. One taste of this brought me back to when I would have sticky rice for breakfast before school.My only regret so far is missing out on Green Mango. Cant wait to see what Novembers flavors will be!

Today was Wanderlust’s anniversary ! So there was a BOGO deal. The POS system was not working 100% so the employees had to put in card number manually; but were fast and efficient. We didn’t have to wait very long even though there were a lot of people in line.My friend got the Ube with an Ube cone and some soft ice cream.I had the New Zealand ice cream with honey candy crunchies and the Catalina. Both were delightfully sweet.

I love the Filipino month flavors. Green mango sorbet is so good. During the rest of the year, my go to is japanese neapolitan. This location has a huge space with lots of seating that is shared with Pie Hole and conveniently located a block away from the free 90 minute parking lot.

I went around 8-9pm after dinner and it was very busy. They give out samples with reusable spoons. The icecream itself is pretty good, and it’s sweet (obviously), but not sickeningly sweet. I recommend the Japanese Neapolitan.The building that the creamery is in is a bit cramped. There are about 4-5 chairs beside the window, but if you’re in a large party there’s likely going to be not enough seating inside

The local artisan ice cream shop is located in a shared retail space here in Old Town Pasadena.Creating flavors with Asian influence and flare, availability can change alongside standard favorites.Their creations are slightly more subtle in flavors compared to others and are delightfully refreshing. Their overrun control is also very good delivering excellent textures.

Really sweet staff, and genuinely unique ice cream flavors. Most ice cream shops the most creative flavors are things like Pumpkin Pie, or Caramel Apple, but wanderlust has flavors like Lavender Marshmallow, Honeycomb, Mango and Coconut Sticky Rice. They are all tasty, you can tell the ice cream is well made and properly stored, and the toppings are all great too! Its definitely on the pricy side for ice cream, and if youre just looking for basic ice cream Id recommend skipping it, but if youre in the mood for something more fun or fancy its definitely with the extra few dollars.

I love wanderlust. They are continuously compounding and adding new flavors all the time. They seem to never run out of flavors, because they always have some random flavor thats traditional to the people of Norfolk Island (🇳🇫) or something. Very remarkable, Id go so far as to say that this may be the best ice cream chain in LA, as its certainly better than s*lt and str*w and a few others.

After watching Wah on IG and seeing a Vietnamese Coffee flavor come up, we rerouted weekend plans to be able to make a pit stop here! For a split single running at a little under $7 it’s a pretty pricey spot for ice cream. We chose the obvious, Vietnamese Rocky Road and Japanese Neapolitan. Immediately after our first few bites we knew what the favorite was, the Vietnamese coffee had such a distinctive flavor that paired so well with the additional sweetness from the candied bites. Such a bold flavor that really lingered on the palette. Meanwhile, our second choice was underwhelming in comparison. Maybe just from our two picks, the Japanese Neapolitan was just bland. The subtle hint of green tea was only present towards the end and by then it was lackluster. I can understand why this place is so popular! Definitely recommend this spot for ice cream, and can’t wait to try out more flavors.

I visited wanderlust for the first time today while walking towards another ice cream place. I got distracted, ended up going into wanderlust, and I did not regret it!I tried the following flavors:- Pandan tres leches: my favorite flavor today! The pandan flavor was prominent but not overbearing. The tres leches part (including bits of cake crust!) was creamy and not too sweet.- Thai tea: my second favorite! I love boba and this ice cream had a strong tea flavor and was very fragrant! I couldnt get enough of this tea fragrance in the ice cream and I havent found that aroma in other Thai tea ice creams nor Thai milk teas!- Vietnamese rocky road: it had a pleasant coffee flavor and had a nice texture that included some crunchy bits. The two aforementioned flavors outshone it.- Ube: my boyfriends favorite. Creamy, rich, and had tasty crunchy bits! It was just fine to me.- Mango and sticky rice: deadass felt like I was transported to a Thai restaurant where I was eating mango and sticky rice. Because of the difference in texture between ice cream and actual sticky rice, it caught me off guard and was sort of uncanny valley? It was delicous though!- Japanese neopolitan: the matcha and hojicha parts were tasty, but the black seseme threw the mix off. Our least favorite flavor today, but it was still good.

This wanderlust location shares a building/room with a few other companies which is super smart (piehole and pressed juicery). flavors are delicious as always — japanese neopolitan and thai tea are the favorites. scoops are fairly generous and prices are like typical la artisan ice cream places. parking can be tricky in the area but there are public lots or metered spots.

Tonight 9:00-9:20. One of the workers wearing glasses was very impolite when I asked for a sample. I spoke loud and clear of what I wanted and she looked at me weirdly and spoke to me rudely that she couldn’t understand me twice… She also spoke in this rude manner to my mom. I can’t believe there wasn’t a Wanderlust Creamery in Pasadena before. I am sad to see other ice cream shops leave the area such as “21 Choices”, up the street, and “Coolhaus”, which was formerly at this location. However, I have always been a fan of the Wanderlust Creamery concept since I love traveling so much. Note: I came to the soft opening as part of a yelp event.Carl/Karl was the employee who helped me and he was fantastic!! From his bright smile to his kind demeanor, his customer service and hospitality was 110%. He provided recommendations such as “oh if you like florals, definitely try the Pasadena Rose and Violet Marshmellow” and would offer a sample instead of me asking for one. This is important because no one likes being that person who asks for 10 samples in a row :) Carl/Karl also offered a background on wanderlust and his own personal favorites. Even with a long line behind us, he still did not rush me and took his time explaining everything in a calm, cool, and positive manner. In the end, he helped me choose the Trio Samples: 3 scoops. I couldn’t decide if I wanted a cup or cone so he offered the scoops in a cup with a cone on top! YES! Yo go Carl/Karl!My 3 scoops were: Violet Marshmellow (if you love that violet flavor with a creamy vanilla mixed in, this one is for you), Pasadena Rose (very rosy, with hints of chocolate), and Kinder (like eating a frozen melt kinder chocolate bar)! I am actually obsessed with the fact that they made a “Pasadena Rose” flavor. Love the name, the flavor, and it’s a great tribute to the location of the store. Way to keep it personalized and local!
