Our group is 4 came here for dinner around at 6:30pm, we got table in patio ( enclosed patio) with heater so no problem if it is cold outside. Since it is tables in patio so the grill is on portable propane stove which we do not like much but it is acceptable rather than waiting for table inside.The waitress who serve our table is very active and helpfulThe thing I was really annoyed is how the side dish and sauce for dipping that they gave us at first, not sure if enough for one kid to eat but they gave for 4z!?I understand you can call but I would be happier if I could ask less to our waitress, she ran like crazy for us when we ask sauce, sides,etc, I felt bad when had to ask for every little thing when it can be settle easily to save times and energy. I know you try to save money on side dishes and sauce but please make sense a little bit, you can count how many slide of fish cake or cucumber there!?Be generous a bit, your menu price is not cheap and your food quality is not the best.

Wang Cho BBQ is your standard all you can eat KBBQ restaurant.The menu has different tiers with different prices. Higher tiers cost more, but come with items other tiers dont (like shrimp). The banchan is minimal, but tasty and refilled as many times as you want. Also included is salad, rice, fluffy egg, and other dishes. The brisket and spicy short ribs were both good.Im not certain if the AC was out, but they did have huge fans blowing air. They helped, but the place still felt a bit stuffy. Aside from that, the staff was friendly and the place was clean.

Its hard these days to say its Too Pricey because Everywhere is pricey... This was our first visit so lets just concentrate on the Great Food and the Great service!I believe our waiter was Erin (?) I took my friends here just to enjoy some conversation, laughter, and great food. They have a wide variety of meats and dishes to choose from, and they are the fastest at taking your meat order and bringing it out fresh from the cutting machine. If youre in the mood for some outstanding Korean BBQ and great atmosphere and in Chino stop by Wang Cho BBQ, youll leave full, happy, and satisfied with the food, servers, and pleasant atmosphere. One reason why I dont take pictures of what were eating when I go out with fruebds to eat is because I have 1 important rule no phones out at the table. Just enjoy the moment without being behind a phone.

I recently went here with my Boyfriend,To Try out this new place to me an also to bring my Boyfriend who came to Visit for the first time in CA. He enjoyed his experience here the servers were kind and attentive also were quick to change the grill an keep an eye.tho i would say the the music they had was a little but on the loud side so we kinda had to speak up a little more louder to hear each other in conversation.But overall i would an do plan on coming back to this spot again with friends & family

It was unusually smokey! I asked if thevents were working and they apparently checked out ok... the smoke gave me a headache and I could hear guests coughing. Sides did not look fresh at all, they used to look much better and the portions are smaller. A suggestion, the music is very loud, we had a hard time hearing each other at our table. We went mid-week for dinner, meat was good 👍

The service, food, and atmosphere here is amazing. I havent been to other Korean BBQ restaurants, so understand that my review wont be comparing it to others. Ive been to this location at least a dozen times and its consistent quality service. If you dont understand the food you want to order, just ask! All employees are more than happy (in my experience) to explain what the food is and how to cook it. This location is very accommodating too! Ive been here with friends and our group ranged from 2 - 14 people. Obviously the larger your party, the longer the wait, so expect that if you go at peak times with a large group. Believe me though, the experience is great if youre new, and if youre familiar with KBBQ then you already know what to expect!

It was the 1st visit to this AYCE Korean BBQ in Chino Hills. The restaurant is locared a standalone building in the shopping center where Nostrom Racks, Best Buy, and other retail stores. Parking is easy and the wait time was short as we got in around 5 beforr the dinner crowds. You have the three price options: the highest option costs near $40. We got the premium option as we wanted to try more premium cuts. those fancy meats are limited to 2 servings per person and it was understandable as the quality of meats served far better than other places I have been to. The server was nice and attentive. We had our grills changed about 4 times as we enjoyed our dinner. We cant wait to visit again when we are in this area.

You can never go wrong with an all you can eat Korean BBQ spot. The biggest thing you have to remember is to never go to this place with a fresh pair of clothes. The food smell gets all in what you are wearing. You leave any Korean bbq smelling like straight food. Ultimately a great experience. You have to starve yourself before coming her for an all you can eat experience or you will fill up really quick. Loved it

Not recommend. Not authentic Korean food. Kimchi and other small dishes are tasteless. Only gave us 3 pieces of rice cake each time. The range hood is not working at all. Its not sucking in the smoke. The grill gets scorched very easily, almost every time. I was shocked that they call the first picture Assorted Vegetables. Many other Korean bbq places would give you a bowl of sweet sour lettuce salad as Assorted Vegetables. What a dissatisfaction and disappointment! I wont come back again. Go to some other better Korean bbq places!Not recommend!

I came here for a birthday dinner and everything was going well at first. Unfortunately our server decided to do a grill change in the middle of us cooking. This upset me because all the juices and stuff were already on the previous grill. Also the server didn’t even ask if we wanted a grill change. He just changed the grill and put the already cooking meat on a cold grill then took the plate out my hand. It was very rude and unprofessional. I usually come here over Gen Korean. Guess I’ll be going there next time.

Very disappointing. We got there at almost 9pm, granted it closes at 10 but these Fools had the nerve to say the kitchen closes at 10. The kitchen? What bleeping kitchen as we cook our own food!! They let us get two rounds in but coulda went for a 3rd until we saw the bathrooms.....About that, the mens and the womens bathrooms were Utter Pig styes!! Complete disasters. Very gross. Im glad we ate first then saw the bathrooms but even after that it was hard not to think if Fools can have a bathroom that bad, what is their kitchen hygiene.....

Been here about 5 times now. The last time we came on a Sunday, it was SOOOo hot! The place is pretty big, then why do you stick majority of the people in the hottest corner when we are in front of flames? Usually love this place, but that day, it was a little too hot to handle.

This place was fantastic. You definitely get your moneys worth (we got the King option). The side dishes and Korean style miso soup went very well with all the meats.The service was also fast getting all the dishes to the table.2 pieces of advice. 1. This place is a bit pricey. The default menu is $24.99. The food is definitely good, but I do not find it worth the price; however, the atmosphere and the service is great! Our server, Randile, was supper attentive. The moment our plates were empty they immediately followed up for the next course. If it werent for great servers, this would be about a four star reataurant, but because guests here are treated like royalty, definite five stars. Randile, if you see this, thank you for a great time. Stay awesome.

Fantastic restaurant especially to bring a date to. You can order your choice of meats like chicken or beef or pork and get vegetables. You then go and sit down and pretty much cook your own food exactly the way that you wanted. There is an all you can eat price which is simply fantastic during the lunch hours and also reasonable during dinner. I highly recommend checking this place out.

It’s pandemic season but they’re open for dine in! Wear your PPEs and be prepared to check in using paper outside. Don’t use yelp check in — this location doesn’t use it. This restaurant seems like they don’t know what they are doing at all. The place is DIRTY. Restroom is filthy. The sink doesn’t drain. There were no soap left. I almost slipped and fall walking to the restroom because the floor is super oily and is not 100% carpeted. We didn’t get the name of out waiter but he literally walked over, told us that they ran out of beef tongue and walked away while we were talking to him. Didn’t ask if we wanted to get something else. Just walked away. What kind of service is this?! Also the checkin is very annoying since you dont get a phone notification at all. You have to stand in the front of the restaurant waiting for them to call your name. Over all not a pleasant experience. Will not come back since there are many cheaper and better BBQ restaurants compare to this.

Loved it! Had an amazing time. My kids enjoy all the different meats and that dad gets to grill. We get non stop service and grate suggestions. The grilling plate gets changed often. This was the 3rd time and every time has been just as amazing. Even with Covid going on the people are amazing. The tables are clean. This is the dirtiest place I’ve ever been. There is food all over the table, chair, and floor. The plate, cups, and tableware are dirty, and I had to wipe down them using hand sanitizers. Came in with three people only two of us ate but, apparently the servers saw my third guest eating, they couldn’t tell me what she was eating and there service was horrible when I tried telling them only two of us ate. When I said this is too much work for your business to not believe me, I’d rather not come here again if you don’t believe me and they told me that’s fine. Now this was surprisingly good only because my husband didnt want to have to cook lol! The service was great and the atmosphere was casual and friendly. The food was awesome and it really is all you can eat. The staff kept coming by and asking what we wanted next. We had 4 or 5 beef, a chicken, vegetable, and a pork dish. You can ask fr steamed rice, soup and other side dishes but we wanted to try as many of the meat dishes as possible. For around $20 per person, we ate like royalty. Heres a pic of the menu.

Came for my Dads birthday. Our reservation is at 12:30 but our guests came at past 1:00 pm, they didnt forfeit our reservation and they allowed us to wait for everyone before we ordered. Very happy with the service, thank you Michelle for the service with a smile and she was very honest too, she told me not to worry about the tip as it was already included in the service charge. How many servers would tell you that? Right?Food came fast, and very flavorful. Place is very clean and all our guest came out very happy and content. The best Korean BBQ in this area. The side dishes are great and the meat is amazing. I like to go with my friends when we have the cash. For newcomers, try the beef brisket! It cooks fast and is delicious! For kbbq conisieurs, try the fire chicken. It’s decently spicy and comes with cheese sauce which is alright. Also, try the intestines. It’s one of those things people avoid like the plague until they try it one day and realize just how amazing it is and then can’t get it out of their minds. No seriously though, try those intestines. Ive been here a handful of times over the past few years and the experience is always a solid meh. The quality of the meat is passable and the service is just okay. It definitely felt like the folks picking up your cooking grate are more attentive than the servers themselves. One of the best in So Cal! Saturdays between 1-3 are the best times to avoid the crowds, although it gets crowded for good reason for sure! The staff is incredibly polite and always on the spot with orders and grill service. We have been here a few times and never once had to look for someone to ask for a grill or order more food. The meats are fresh and always great! The A/C works hard but does a great job of moderating the temp in a hug room filled with fires at each table! We love eating at Wang Cho and highly recomend!

We decided to give this place a try. First, getting the server to take your order will take a while if you are 3 seconds hesitant when deciding the menu. The server didn’t offer any advise/ explain the menu/ wait a second before she turned a heel, said she’d come back and walked away. It took a while for her to come back. Yes, I get that the place was busy. But not even 3 seconds?Don’t expect much when you order the sides, they’re TINY. Rice cakes? We only got 3 pieces. Assorted veggies? We only got 1 slice of zucchini, 1 slice of mushroom and half and onion.Meat cuts were okay. But we had to change our grill 3 times because it burnt quickly and it also charred our meat bad wasting good meats. Also, this place was expensive.You’re better off going to those mom and pop kbbqs. They have unlimited sides (self serve too!) and the servers are more prompt.

Service was great and the servers were very attentive to our requests and they were constantly asking if we needed more food.The food, however, was just meh. The quality of the meat was not so great. I typically go to my favorite spot in Orange County but this was a last minute decision when other plans fell through and decided to try a more local spot. The rice paper was pretty tough/hard as well. Also, they will charge you extra if you dont finish all your meat, so keep that in mind when ordering a lot of meat. Overall, didnt really care for this spot.

I used to love this place as everything was always fresh. I havent been there in about a year and it has completely gone down the tubes.The service and the price, used to be good and worth it. However, todays visit was pretty bad. The food was just OK, nothing great. The prices have increased quite a bit in the past year and the salad dressing that was great before is no longer on it. The sides were not great either and the service was HORRIBLE!!! There were 3 of us in our party, so we werent a big party and we couldnt even get our server to stop to come help us. We couldnt get our drinks refilled, we ordered cocktails and never got them. We waited over 20 minutes to have our grill changed, which we had to ask for because apparently the smoke wasnt a good enough indication. We asked for it to be changed and then I had to shut off the fire because they didnt do it or come back for 20 minutes to change it. We waited 40 minutes for our waiter to return to ask for the bill, and he never came back. I had to flag down the girl in front to pay our bill, which honestly shouldve been on the house at that point. I dont think I will return again, such a shame from the way they were before. We were all locals and frequented the restaurant prior, but I just cant do it again after this experience.

This place is amazing! The prices are reasonable if you enjoy quality. The food options are great and never too fatty or old. With COVID the staff is short but they go above and beyond to keep you eating. Last time I was there our server was there before we could even talk about needing her and our water was refilled before we ran out. The downside to this place is it gets so hot but with all the cooking tops it makes sense so dress ready for the occasion.

I have been here a few times the meats are really good. The beef bagogi, Cali steak, and beef brisket are pretty awesome. The only thing is I get so full. Maybe I should just eat the meat. Wangcho became one of my go-to AYCE Korean BBQ restsurant. There is one in fullerton and this in Chino. First of all, their meat quality is good, I wont say that it is good good, but better than average, and sides were okay except steamed egg; it was blend and no seasoning with it. Second of all, clean wise, acceptable. I went there for a lunch time, so it was busy and I can understand it, but having some greasy spots wasnt acceptable I will say.Lastly, the service was excellent 👌. Servers kept coming to check your needs and willing to bring what you need, but some of male servers werent so nice. (Maybe its cuz im a man. If you are a lady, they will be good to you.. Shhhh🤫🤐).Overall, it was really such a great time with Wangcho and I will definitely come back for more. What can I say? This place never disappoints. Theyre super friendly and dedicated to turning around tables quickly once guests leave so they can seat the next party. Whenever you order another round of meats or banchan or even just water, they get it to you so quickly. Theyre always so nice and the atmosphere is just really chill. Korean BBQ cook it yourself type dining. For first timers they are sure to give all the instructions. Basic dinner option will run you about 25$ and there are lots of options to choose from within that. It is all you can eat for up to 2 hours. Be forewarned though if you do not finish food you ordered there could be a fee. My fiancé and myself have gone with large groups and for the most part they are on top of getting the food out quick and check g in to see when we want more, only ever one or two things slips through the cracks.

This place is a safety hazard. The fume hoods are inadequate causing the floors to be covered with grease. I saw an elderly man fall in front of an employee and three other people almost fall, and never was the floor cleaned. I ate here about once a month. Quality of meat is above average. My favorite is beef tongue and garlic pork belly. But at times, the cut on beef tongue is small and the pork belly is not marinated enough.Just order a second plate if the first one isn’t to your standard.

Im not understanding all the good reviews for this place. Save your time and money! This is the worst Korean BBQ Ive ever been too. The quality of the meat is not there. They shriveled up to nothing once cooked. The corn cheese tasted like canned corn with cheese on top. The kimchi tasted like it was from a bag. They dont really have any good beer choices - including IPAs which they dont have at all. The server wasnt attentive at all. The bus boys changed our grill more than our server did. If you want good Korean BBQ drive a little further to Roland heights. This place is too gimmickey and trying to hard to be KBBQ and it fails miserably. We only went here because our usual spot had an hour long wait. Again beware!!!

Good food, fast service. Had an issue with the grill and they were quick at fixing it and worked to make sure we had a good experience. Would highly recommend the brisket and bulgogi, but beware the abomasum, its tough to cook and not super fun to eat. All around a very fun place to go with friends.

Attention ... if you wish to eat here.. 2 majors things to remember, wear an oil resistant pair of shoes since their tile floors are so slippery and dont bother taking a shower before coming because all their exhaust hoods to remove grill smokes are not working. All smoke from every grill stations are going straight to the ceiling and not to the exhaust hoods. When we left, we all smell like barbecue smoke and other customers noticed this, too.

This place is no social distancing at all. Table were not sanitize between customer. They even make you share the table with other people. I dont think i would come back. I used to love this place. We found Wang Cho BBQ by accident as we were in the area for the 1st time actually looking to go eat at a steakhouse nearby. Couldnt locate the steakhouse and stopped in front of Wang Cho BBQS and decided to go there instead. Sure glad that we did...good service, good atmosphere, and great tasting food! They seemed to get really annoyed when we asked for things they forgot to bring us but yeah. First time here and it was awesome! Ive had Korean bbq before and this is one of the best places in the area. The beef brisket and bulgoki are very tasty and tender and the tofu stew is excellent! All of the severs were super helpful and are the very attentive. Highly recommended especially if you have never tried Korean bbq before, this is a great place to start! I went for my birthday dinner and they even brought me a little surprise at the end which was very delicious!

My wife & I tried it for our first time last night. It was tasty but probably not going back. We ordered the first choice with 3 items and didnt order any more. Im not sure if its all KBBQ joints or not, but the service here could be better and without the attitude. I always judge a KBBQ joint by how good the basic brisket is and Wang Cho is definitely a 4/5. Some dishes are dry and frozen while others are more tender and moist.

The beef bulgogi & rib fingers were great. Lychee soju was good as well. Despite how busy it was, our waiters pretty much stayed on top of things. We had a great time!
