My first time here and I ordered spicy cheese ramen with tempura but it didn’t come with tempura. I went to ask them again and they didn’t give me the shrimp tempura. They are just potato, pumpkin, and egg plant. I will never come back! 🙁

Had the spicy Lion roll Ive been craving and got my 100/10 rating. Cashier was both inexperienced and casually rude. Asked what a bento box was and got and scoff. What I do? Food made up for it another spot to add.

Not so much atmosphere but its not needed. This is way up on my list of favorite places. Ive recommended this place to 8 to 10 different people and I know that 8 of them eat there regularly. I have been going for years. Ive only tried a few things because everything I had the 1st time was so I got stuck on it, but honestly, I would bet money that no matter what u get youre gonna love it. If you dont...bring it to me and Ill eat it... prices are competitive. I heartily recommend this place.

Id brought my wife to the nearby UPS store but an emergency calling caused me to visit this Wasabi. Actually Ive never been much of a fan of sushi, but it seemed only proper to order up some eats while there though, and I was glad I did.The spicy California rolls were very good, as were the Lobster rolls (rolls garnished with crispy fried crawfish).Might make me a fan after all. Highly recommended.

We had take out. I have to say that the Lakewood ramen did not disappoint. We usually have to go all the way to Buena Park for this caliber of Ramen. The sushi was average from the selection that we had, but we did not order a wide variety. The chicken teriyaki was pretty good. Three people ate for $40 bucks total. No complaints.👌

My first time here and I was not impressed. I ordered to-go and waited for about 20-30 minutes just for 2 rolls. The food was cold that I had to warm up in the microwave. The rolls starts to fall apart as I try to pick them up with chop sticks. I end up using a spoon to scoop up the mess it made.Great customer service. That’s it.

First time here. Had an enjoyable experience. The prices are reasonable, the cashier was friendly, appreciated the menu with tons of picks on it. The food was tasty and to top it off, my kids who are picky actually liked it. Would come back again 🤩

This place used to be a great place to stop by a long time ago. Now these days it’s incredibly expensive when it was taken under new management. The wait time is still as long as it was before, but now it will cost you and arm and a leg for just 2 items alone. But variations of the services before and after rebrand are about as the same, I feel more like a burden than a valued customer because sometimes employees act like they don’t want to serve me. It’s a just a personal observation, but I haven’t been to this place in over a year because of it.

One of my faves is the wasabi, I love it with my rolls and the ginger. I had Philadelphia roll and it was okay, it wasnt cold like I have at other places. Ive seen this place everytime I go to UPS next door and I decide to try it out. Clean place, sanitizers everywhere and friendly staff. I will try something different, maybe ask for more wasabi, hopefully it wasnt watered or thinned down. Wasnt what I know wasabi to be, if my next items is nothing to rave about, it will be possibly my last vist here.

I got the chicken teriyaki bento and it was amazing. It comes with the Miso soup, site of steamed rice four pieces of California roll and 5 pieces tempura with shrimp, pumpkin, zucchini, onion ringand yam. The portion was huge and the flavor was good. Its also come with the salad that I didnt eat poly next time I should just ask them dont put that salad in the bento box. The price was reasonable a bento box cost $15 which is an hour of minimum wage. Which is reasonable because thats how all the chain fast food price their product. And Japanese food requires way more prep work so I think its price very well.

This is my first time here. I got the Unagi Roll and Redbull Roll and for the price I paid I was satisfied.Pros: they have a large variety of different rolls, they make it quick. seems like a place I could go to for a quick sushi fix. the sushi was decent but not the best Ive had. and I didnt get sick.Cons: the staff wasnt too friendly but Im not there to make friends. I assumed the staff spoke little English which might explain why they seem unfriendly. The bathroom isnt the cleanest but at least it didnt smell bad. its not a restaurant with a server, its more like a fast food take out kinda place but I didnt mind that because it was a quick in and out and I was on a time limit.Overall, I liked it and next time I want a quick sushi fix im going to try the other rolls that I was eyeballing on their menu.

I saw a menu that was mailed to me and got excited by the pictures. But when I looked up the address and saw where it was, I was disappointed.The last 2 times I had been there, the service wasnt good. Especially the last time. It was horrible. I asked questions about the food and the guy just pointed to the menu and acted like they didnt need my business. He didnt even answer my question.He seemed annoyed like he wanted me to just hurry up with my order.I used to go here years ago and the service was good. I dont know what happened.The food was okay (if thats all you care about) but I dont like going somewhere where I dont feel appreciated as a customer. If the food wasnt decent, I wouldve given 1 star.Hope in the future they change because I wouldve went there all the time.

Omg! SO GOOD! We received a menu flyer from Wasabi in the mail this morning and decided to give it a try. I’m absolutely in LOVE with their “Lakewood Ramen” - Incredible amount of spice and flavor, & noodles are cooked to perfect consistency. I’m so happy I took the chance and gave Wasabi a try, I’m definitely coming back for seconds soon! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick and comforting meal. The girl with the glasses and curly hair at the counter who took my order was so sweet and cheerful as well! 🥹

I ordered via delivery so I have no clue on the friendliness of the staff, so I cant comment on that. However, I can comment on how delicious the sushi and chicken is! Prices are GREAT imo, its worth checking out. I will order again. I tried 3 different rolls and there were all fantastic.

The black garlic ramen is very good the noodles are only ok the ginger was a bit too thick for me as well, I was only disappointed that I received the appetizer of pot stickers after the ramen so that was odd. Didnt really feel like tipping again next time .

This new restaurant model is terrible, the delay is huge. The food is of poor quality, I was waiting more than 30 minutes when it arrived. Everything cold, nothing very good and the price much more expensive. Place is gross and staff is rude. They mixed our vegetarian dishes with fish items. Edamame looked like it had gone bad a week earlier. My 11 year old looked at half the items we ordered and wouldnt touch them, and she spit out the chicken pot sticker. Veggie tempura was soggy, cold, and veggies were not fresh. Definitely wouldnt go back....many other options in the area that are delicious and probably more friendly. Prices are decent, but id gladly pay more for better quality.

Im rating the food according to average times Ive gotten take out during covid. Now the first two takeout orders were delicious. I love that you can get an entree meal, with a salad, miso and either California roll or spicy tuna, and sushi. All for like $14. And cheap basic rolls. I love the teriyaki beef, but one order last time tasted weird. Like Ill buy again, but put the sauce on the side. It wasnt like the sauce I first had, so I wasnt happy with 3rd order. Sushi was fine though.

Seemed clean but bathroom was filthy. The food was mediocre at best. The Beef Rib BBQ was full of fat. The California Roll did not taste fresh. None of the food seemed fresh. The rice was good. You get what you pay for, I suppose. Staff was somewhat nice. We will not be coming back.

First time there, ordered one thing and ended up waiting an hour. People who came afterwards and had bigger orders got theirs first. Best part, they got my order wrong. Rather having to wait again to get it right I just left. The food was okay, but definitely not worth the wait for those little portions. Unless you got all the time in the world and are not that hungry, find somewhere better.

Lately I ordered 2 items, the rude lady of course she made everything ready inside the plastic bag and tied it. I also ask her some soup she refused, but I said you gave me last time. I said I can spin the wheel since I spent more than 15 and I hit free soda but she refused it didnt want to give me. When I got home I notice she put 2 orders in one container with 1 set of wasabi and wasnt enough I called them she heard me at first and called again pretending she didnt hear me I called or filed a report at business bureau

Super friendly. The sushi is good and its one of the cheaper places Ive found. They have a spin the wheel thing where you can get a free drink or miso soup etc. You can call and place an order over the phone if you dont want to wait.

Ive been buying sushis, teriyaki chicken and as of recently, ramen from this place for a while since i live walking distance from this place. The items are good in price, and the sushi is pretty good. I am a little disappointed in their teriyaki chicken to be honest because the teriyaki in other places have been thicker and more flavorful than here. Today, however I had their white ramen for the first time and wow, it is wholesome and yummy. The broth is so good to drink and the meat is well prepared. I love the perfect egg on top of it all and my only disappointment is that the noodles are thinner than most places. Id recommend the ramen from here before the teriyaki but the sushi works too.

Very rude people, I have ate there a few times but try to ignore rudeness, last time I ate there I ordered the chicken terriyaki it is not bad so bad there orange chicken not bad, but there tiger roll is awful, tasted bad so I threw the rest away got sick a few hours later. I will stay with my regular sushi place. Should of known not to eat sushi at a hole in the wall place.

The first time me and my husband came here, the cashier, a older Japanese women was being rude to a interracial couple the woman was white and the man was African American he seemed like he was a military man very respectful and professional looking ...the woman tried to tell her that she was being rude towards him..the cashier replied be quiet Im tired. Me and my husband had to laugh at that comment...long story short the wanted a refund because she was so rude....Today me and my husband decided to go back and give her the benefit of doubt...I purposely came in very respectful and her attitude was horrible again lol...shes just not a happy or friendly woman...this time the food was mushy and old tasting...chicken was dry and black...wont be back lol

Wasabi offers teriyaki bowls, tempuro, udon, yakisoba and other items, but my foodie Geiger counter blipped solely for a sushi roll.Red Bull roll (California roll with spicy tuna & eel sauce)Ask me why this is named Red Bull roll, and Ill say I dunno. Alcohol-infused sushi rolls. Yup, that would be the next big thing. Think White Russian Roll, Irish Car Bomb roll. Anyhoo, the Red Bull roll was a typical roll. The eel sauce had a sweetness to it, which didnt overpower the spicy tuna that much. Unfortunately, salad or miso soup is an extra dollar. Im used to places like Yasai throwing those in for free. Still, not bad.Spend $7+, get a spin on the Wheel o Wasabi!Winner! Winner! I won a free can of soda!What I thought was a nice touch, were the free WiFi, laptops & Playstation PSPs available to partake of.Please Dont Go To Virus Site (translation - Stay away from porn sites)Fair amount of seating to dine in, the service was helpful with a minor wait for my food.
