Had it multiple times before over the years, never had problems. Ordered two sandwiches today and got me and my boss both sick, I dont know if they used old stuff or what but the taste was really off too. Took a covid test and my temperature to see if it was me but both were good.

Highly enjoyed the food, it was tasty for being a clam chowder place in a land locked city. I could almost taste the ocean, safe to say their clam chowder was top tier. Pretty legitness. I highly recommend it if you are craving some clam chowder and dont wanna make the drive to a seaside restaurant.

First time my family and I have tried this place. The food was great, their staple which is the bread was definitely the star. My wife and son shared a bread bowl clam chowder and raspberry chicken sandwich. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, but I made the mistake of choosing to hold off on the coleslaw which is usually added (it would of been a nice balance on this sandwich).

Based just on the food Id give it a 3. The Sandwich itself was fairly tasty although a bit pricy. The tomato bisque was just barely passable as tomato bisque and the Mac and cheese literally tasted like box mac and cheese and the portions on both of these items were small for the amount paid. The reason I dropped off a star was because the clerk while helping the customer in front of me coughed so hard into her hand I could almost her the flem hitting it and didnt wash or sanitize at all during the entire exchange then process to help me right after and I pray that she was nownere near any of the food that was being made. Overall if I ever decide to go back it would only be for the Sandwich and nothing else .

Love the sandwiches, meat is always fresh. But after today I will not be coming back, the gentleman making the sandwiches was touching his mustache and beard (Im thinking out of habit) then goes to grab gloves to make the sandwiches without Cleaning his hands, does he not think the hair he just touched wasnt on his hands? Thats a hell no for me to come back

I just ordered 2 sandwiches one for me and 1 for my husband. I tried eating one half and just wipe off the mayo.... its so messy and not only is this Mayo ony bread its on the meat cheese and lettuce. its like layers of mayo. Both sandwiches were made sloppy. with entirely too much mayo.i used 4 napkins removing all the Mayo from my sandwich. looking at the globe of it is making my husband gag he doesnt even want to eat his. Im very disappointed. If I lived close I would March back in with my sandwich and demand a refund. both sandwiches are going in the trash.

The clerk was friendly and attentive. I had the garlic pesto turkey sandwich. Excellent! My daughter said this might be the best clam chowder she has ever had. She liked that the clams in the soup arent very big

We got there 5 minutes before they were suppose to close but they graciously welcomed us in and took our order. Their hospitality was a nice change. The clam chowder is awesome and so are the sandwiches. We’ll be back again real soon!

My first time going here and I was more friendly than your staff. Sadly, they lack customer service skills not one person smiled. Everybody looked like they were upset just to be there. Your employee made me feel like I was bothering her to place an order for lunch. I asked a question and she had to repeat as I could not hear answer.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! The soup was absolutely horrible it had the worst taste i have ever experienced. It was sooooo bitter i had to throw it out i felt as if some sort of cleaning detergent or bleach was in the soup. The sandwich was terribly over cooked being i asked for it to be hot. This place was great when it opened but since it sold to typical “subway owners” it’s gone down hill and fast. I can still taste the bitter on the back of my throat so strong i felt poisoned!!!!! Don’t go here go to Panera bread instead or anywhere for crying out loud!!!!!!!Update!!!! Tried this place again 7/22/2023 it’s still trash! The soup was horrible and cold…they left off all of the extras i requested! As of today I’ve reported this place to the health department and the better business bureau. They should be shut down immediately. Not sure who owns this place but it shouldn’t be on any app let alone open to operate. Don’t order from this place!!!!!!!!!!!!

The food is great but staff is extremely rude. Was attempting to look at the menu and staff asked if I was ready to order. I asked for a minute and got a glare and when I order the clerk seemed standoffish and continued to glare at me. She then started speaking to her coworker in Punjabi all while they were staring me down. To say the least I was extremely uncomfortable at the hostility for absolutely no reason. I received my order and went to the car as I felt uncomfortable eating there. I noticed there were items missing in my order and went back inside to ask for the soup I had ordered. I also requested some crackers, they gave me the soup and told me No, crackers only come with the big bowls. As expected the sandwich was messy, there was a huge blob of sauce not spread. I Felt terrible and gave them absolutely no reason for that treatment. I will definitely go to another establishment and not the one on river park.

The service here is great, they are polite there seems to be a new flip around. Sometimes wait times can get to be a little long but it’s made fresh and it’s not Taco Bell. You’re essentially at a restaurant. They make the soup and bread ready to order. There’s a new girl with short hair that just cares for the employees and customers so much. She went way out of her way to make sure not only my party but the ones waiting In front and behind were all comfortable as they waited. Watched an older man completely disrespect her and so I tried to tip her $5 but they split tips so she put it in their jar. She handled him well and stern. I like seeing the change and growth here. I come often. Most of these bad reviews are just impatient and selfish. Most employees are under 25 closer to 18 and they have room to grow and learn maybe treating your food service workers better will get you better service. Just for the record I’ve never even kind of had a problem here. If you don’t want to wait just go. If you can it’s so worth it.Also if you see more than 3-4 people at a place like that most likely the others are new. They take online orders, catering orders, phone orders, and a line out the door of orders. Think of that when you’re so angry you had to wait 20 minutes. They have twice as much work as you see and think. Thank you all for your amazing service. The manager is amazing as well.

I would give 5 stars for the sandwich because they are delicious, but the staff was extremely unprofessional and made me not even want to eat there! Maybe she was having a bad day, but yelling about how long your coworker has been in the bathroom multiple times for all patrons to hear and having another employee knock on the bathroom door and demand she come out to then make my sandwich is very unprofessional and disgusting! Okay so we ate here for the first time over this past weekend. Upon entering, the crew of 4 that was working, were joking, laughing and carrying on (which was okay with us, cause hey, you gotta have fun). Anyway, we were greeted but werent ready to order because we never been here before. However, the young lady that greeted us just said when youre ready, let us know..... there was no recommendation of what was what or what the menu offered, rather she just walked away. Upon figuring out what we wanted, we stood at the for a good two minutes before being asked if we were ready to order. Once the staff noticed, a different girl besides the one who originally asked us if we were ready took our order. For starters, her strawberry shortcake sweatshirt (no uniform) was dirty, hair wasnt brushed and her attitude was horrible! She rudely took our order, then just walked away. Another woman (who seemed to be the manager) took the order from the girl and began to make our sandwiches. So check this out, she did have gloves on, but nobody on the crew was wearing a hair net.Though she handled the food respectfully and was clean about it, I began to look at what the other staff was doing. One girl went into the back of the house, and another began to fix her lunch without washing her hand. She served a cup of soup and cut two slices of bread from the same loaf that is used for customers with no gloves on, just her dirty hands. After noticing that, I continued to look around and noticed how dirty the floor was, both behind the counter and in the dining area. I thought to myself Hmmm..... you got a 4 person crew here and your establishment is filthy. I looked at my wife and told her, look behind the counter and look how dirty it is. She agreed! Anyway..... our sandwiches were made along with a cup of soup (oh yeah and with 2 slices of bread from the same loaf that the other worker cut from with her dirty hands). was served. Long story short, is that the sandwiches were decent enough (just too much house sauce) but the soup was powder based and not to tantalizing at all. As for the 2 slices of bread, they went straight into the trash. I give 2 stars on cleanliness and horrible attitudes alone. Sandwiches get 3 stars....

I don’t normally put places on blast but my experience here was far less than ideal. I was one of three people waiting on orders. It took over 25 minutes, and then they gave me the wrong order. While I waited two of the employees got into an argument and one stormed out. A batch of orders was burned while I was waiting because the argument was distracting them from the timer going off. When I realized my order was incorrect and returned a few minutes later I got nothing but sass from the person helping me. When I politely expressed my frustration with the wait time and the wrong order she responded with “it’s not our fault the bread takes awhile. We can’t give you a sandwich without bread.” Another employee said “but bread takes 3 minutes…”Thankfully my correct sandwich tasted good. But I’m not sure I’ll ever return to this location.

There is no listing for the Sourdough and Co. in NW Shaw area located by Target so Ill be posting here and give a one star upgrade since its not every chain thats guilty by association. So there is no way to order online or by phone so automatically you lose about 3 stars because going to a restaurant and just waiting for your pickup order completely defeats the purpose. If that isnt enough the wait was about 30-35 minutes, I got so bored after 20 minutes I stopped caring. There were only two people working there at the time, so maybe I shouldnt be so harsh, but dont they have a manager who can come in? Dont they pay their employees enough to cover shifts? If you want to be a 3-5 star restaurant as far as ratings, these are EASY fixes!!!!! If I owned the place things like this would have been taken care of after the building phase or do I really need a business degree to be taken seriously? When did customer satisfaction take a back seat to the almighty dollar? Maybe they should put up Arcade machines so customers have something to do for 30+ minutes of waiting for their orders?This was as around 7pm on 12-19-2021 near the target on W shaw.

They serve expired foods on Saturday I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup and it was extremely chunky and separated you could tell it was expired also I decided to try the macaroni and cheese to my disappointment the employee microwaved a cup of it wayyy over priced for microwaved food. Have been visiting this establishment for quite sometime. Initially the food here was good to great but as of late and especially today the sandwiches are weak and overpriced. $9 for a sandwich that looks like it came out of the deli at the local gas station. I believe new ownership and skimping on quality products will cost you many patrons. Sorry, Sourdough & Co., your out in my book. I will give them a 1/2 of star but I’m required to give them one.Oh we order two 6 inches one with provolone cheese and one with pepper jack cheese. They gave us pepper jack on both. So disappointed because I had to remove my cheese and I didn’t get my provolone cheese. We loved the sandwiches that they used to make when they first opened with lost of lettuce and meet. Today I literally had to look for the lettuce and meet. The bread was over cook. Very very disappointed. I have been trying to give them multiple opportunities to support them and kept on going even after they original owner sold it. My family and I thought the new owners will keep the same quality of food and will not change anything in their sandwiches. By far not worth the money for what they serve you. The presentation is not the same. I used to recommend it. Not anymore.

Food decent. Kind of expensive for what you get. 4 inch and 6 inch sandwich with one fountain drink was over $17.00. If you add chips and drink to sandwich its an added $2.95. When arrived at our table my 4 inch Italian sandwich looked flat and lonely in the metal tin. Sourdough bread very good. Crispy crust with soft chewy bread within was my favorite. Restaurant was clean. Serving plates were metal pie tins which was a fun touch. I may go back just to try something else. Not a totally bad experience.

I got my garlic pesto sandwich with a clam Chowder cup which comes as a meal. First of all this place is a joke with the service they provide. Why? they over charge you for what you receive. In fact one of the biggest problem they have is the amount of food you will get for the money you pay. Compare to other places like Panera Bread this place is a disaster. Based on my experiences from all other similar places they charge you double for what you receive.Also the clam chowder soup barely had any clam in it. Ill never will go to this place. I paid 20.56 $ for an 8 inches sandwich and 3-4 table spoon of clam chowder soup.

Im giving 2 stars because the service was quick and there was no line (which shouldve been my first warning). I greeted the cashier and explained it was my first time there and she replied oh ok....no explanation on how Im suppose to order or whats included in an order. Maybe she was having a bad day, I smiled and asked what the sandwiches come with and she (without speaking) pointed to the menu on the counter and said you get sides too. Still smiling I said oh ok thanks Ill read it real quick.. I ordered my combo with wheat bread and in an effort to make small talk I explained how toasted sourdough is too crunchy for me. She finished ringing me up, pointed to the chips and said chips are right there (I didnt even know it came with chips because she didnt take the time to explain what the combo comes with) I said great thanks and waited for my order. A different girl presented my order and even repeated to me that it was on wheat bread, I get home for the rest of my lunch break, open my meal and its on an over toasted sourdough bread...I made the most of it and ate the sandwich which was a good tasting sandwich (I cant feel the roof of my mouth anymore) but it wasnt bad tasting. All in all for a first impression I will not be wasting my time or money on this place again. Definitely not worth a $13 sandwich meal and service.

I absolutely LOVED this place! Im honestly surprised to see it only had three stars. The bread was fresh and tasted fabulous. They also had a house sauce that I wasnt sure if I would like so they gave me a sample on a huge bite of bread to try. My BFF sampled the potato soup and loved it so she got that. The customer service was also wonderful. I highly recommend this place to anyone and will be going back soon.

I bought an 8 inch Pastrami sandwich to go and when the sandwich came out it seemed small. I asked the attendant if this was an 8 inch and she said yes it was. When I got home I measured it and it was only 6 1/4 inches and I was charged for an 8 inch. It was a tasty sandwich but still not happy that I paid more than what I got.

Sandwiches are ok but expensive. Now the kids meal is garbage if you want something healthy for your kid. You get a small sandwich, apple sauce and a drink. The apple sauce is full of sugar. The drink is a choice of apple juice (full of sugar) or what they said was chocolate milk. But it was yoohoo, which doesnt even have milk in it but has a bunch of sugar. It would be nice to have a healthy alternative to feed the kids.

Ive tried both locations and they both seem to have similar issues.1. Staff have a clear language barrier & it negatively impacts their ability to meet customer needs2. Minimal vegetarian items available & the ones they do have are just as or more expensive than the options with meat3. Only vegetarian sandwich offered highly overpriced (at baseline) and then seeing what actually comes on it (minimal veggies or protein) it is a complete waste of money...for perspective, Im a small person with a small appetite and I eat the large (actually very small & thin) with my stomach still physically growling with hunger after I finish it.Positives:1. Their atmosphere is nice2. Parking is easy3. The quality of the veggies & sourdough bread are good, thus the sandwiches taste great!They should re-evaluate their veggie sandwich price and consider more plant-based protein options whether that means providing an adequate amount of avocado on it or adding bean sprouts to better meet needs.I will visit here again only if someone else is treating me as I cannot justify almost $14 for a sandwich that leaves me more hungry than when I arrived
