Such a great mall to visit. Love how it is indoors. I really like coming here just to window shop, watch a movie, grab a bite to eat, or even to treat myself with something. Its a nice and big mall with a lot of stores you can check out. I have never experienced any sort of problems with this place. Everybody seems to be very friendly and I appreciate that a lot. Its always a pleasure to come to this mall. I always have a great time here at Plaza Bonita.

Went to target and got some Halloween items, then had some Cinnabon and enjoyed the snack on the tables by movie theater. To end the trip, we wanted to go on the mini train ride, but the kiosk guy closed the stand 30 mins early. As we walked up, we asked him why it was closed so early and he said because no customers, even though we had a large group and were ready to go on. Very unfortunate because all the kids in our group were so sad. They were looking forward to it and we followed the time that is stated on their sign. They are supposed to close at 9pm, we were at the line at 8:28pm. Such a bummer, and very poor customer service. We will not be supporting this business in the future.

This is one of the very small numbers of malls left that still have a full selection of stores & food spots. Most malls now are empty & have nothing worth going there for. Plaza bonita still has restaurants & cafeteria area AMC movie theatre, a VR playground spot, and a gym! This Plaza is still good & thriving. Its fun to even just walk aroundTo hang out.

Always have a good time visiting this mall. They have a good variety of shops. There is also a food court as well as several options to dine-in. They have a movie theater located here as well. One thing that is different about this mall compared to a lot of other malls in the San Diego area is that it is indoors. Which can be nice if the weather isnt that great.

This mall was one nice big two-story Mall that has all the stores that you need. Not only that this store or should I say this mall is very clean. Nice spacious with a great food court. Located down towards the southern part of San Diego this Mall has some of the kindness workers here. Lot of them like to joke around too. So if you ever in San Diego and you need a quick place to stop to find some nice outfits for whatever the occasion head over here to the Westfield Mall located in the Bonita area.

It is a nice mall for all your shopping needs. I have not been there since covid, but my boys and i had a very pleasant visit there, we were there browsing, we did some shopping and had lunch there as well... we noticed that they will be opening a bowling alley soon... i highly recommend you visit soon.

I go here to watch movies and grab a bite to eat sometimes. It has a nice food court. There is a massage place inside. I tried it once and they did a great job. Only thing I dont like about the massage place is everyone walking by can see you. I dont really shop at this mall. But I like going there from time to time

This mall has lots of open shops of different kinds. It is nice to see that it is still an active mall. I went with my toddler. They have a play area for little kids as well as paid activities for families. We enjoyed our visit, and it allowed us to stay cool on a warm day.This still holds true.

Connors stepmom, Tammi, used to work here, and she said there is a portal to hell directly beneath the food court. She isnt available for comments because she is in jail, but Im sure you could find it. Its probably hard to miss a portal to hell.You can speed walk here, but they do not permit rollerblading.

Its a large place! 2 levels and acres of stores, restaurants and entertainment.Great for whatever you might need to escape home for a day. Ample parking. Huge food court on second floor.I would mention the elevator. Generally an elevator permit can stretch a year past expiration date, but this one was 3 years past. So it has perhaps not been checked on a regular schedule. Inspectors are in short supply. I was here in late August 2023 and it expired in 2020.

Okay so I wanted to give this mall a 2nd chance. I was on the top floor near Children Place. Minding my own business on one of the massage chair. All of a sudden in one of the Asian Stores a Employee comes out chasing a shoplifter. I get why, but what the Employee does next is hard to believe. The Employee starts stalking the shop lifter. (Employee is Mexican. The shoplifter is a white women) The Employee starts a fight with her. (We are on the top floor.)😳 The Employee starts yelling racist/prejudice slurs in Spanish to the white lady(shoplifter).I am a black women. This has upset me to the core. Months later. How the hack are you guys hiring racist/ prejudice employees to work for you!?Customers come in all shades and all nationalities. Stop hiring racist/prejudice people to work for you! This is America. Equality and justice for all. This needs to and has to STOP!!!I sharing this information to anyone who wants to go there. Please becareful.

I wish this mall was closer! Its one of the few indoor malls in SD and its really nice, its very clean and has stuff you really cant find anywhere else. I love the huge candy store, the several boba tea locations, and the great food court options. The theater here is really nice as well, one of the few AMCs to have a DOLBY cinema.

I come here for food sometimes. We get Mongolian BBQ and ramen. Occasionally something from Jamba or DQ while me and my girls walk around and look at clothing. One was disappointed that all of the Pro Club was too big for her, obviously, and the littles run circles around the toys, Croc charms, and sneakers.

Im only giving this 4 Star solely for the purpose of the nostalgia. Id kill to have the Plaza Bonita we have today than the one back in my day. This store is so cute the clothes is very cute and affordable the only thing is the employees are so snobby. I’ve refused to buy from here because the employees just look at you as though you’re bothering their peace by entering? A shame bc the clothes is very cute!!! I have no issues with the mall. I mostly go to eat food. Friendly, clean. No issues for me.My problem at this mall is the underage crowd. The girls dress very provocatively. Best spot to go to for a mall if the weather is too cold or if it’s raining. Since, this place is an inside mall you’ll never get wet or feel too cold. I didnt check out the mall — I only went to Target. Their Target is kind of empty, honestly, and there arent as many things as other Targets Ive been to have had. This place is really nice. Its an indoor mall with lots of stores to shop and things to see. Theres also a lot of little fast food restaurants. I always see teenagers here. The locals like it. Theres multiple movie theaters and a big Target store under the movie theater. Ive been coming to this mall since the 80s and it just gets better with time. Also, theres a mini train that kids and parents can ride and right now a place to take pictures with Santa. 🥰

I love going here! Ive gone to this mall since I was younger and the food court was always good! Theres always a HUGE variety of stores and I even enjoyed just walking around after eating if I dont have a store Im planning to shop at. A lot of stores have been replaced, some have been established more recently and some have been there in the same spot for like...ever!! lol!! Theres the food court, Jewelry stores, a barber shop on the first floor, a target, T-Mobile and At&T phone service stores, lots of clothing stores, various little stands throughout the mall selling cool stuff, theres Jewelry stores, theres a Macys, a JCPenny, a GameStop, and more!!!! There used to be a Johns Incredible Pizza arcade on the first floor......it was shutdown due to covid but I liked going to that place when I was younger too!!!! :DDDD The bathrooms are always clean whenever I go there and the food courts are always clean too!!!! The AMC theatre at this mall is also pretty nice!!! The snacks are yummy and the movie rooms are very spacious! ☺️ The Sip Fresh place here is also very very yummy!!! OK I REALLY LIKE IT I LOVE SIP FRESH LIKE IM NOT KIDDING LIKE OHHHHHHHH I LOVE THE STRAWBERRY MILK ok Im doneAnYwAyS theres a cool candy store too!!!! There used to be a subway and a Chipotle but theyre both not there anymore!!!! :(((( Overall, this mall is amazing and is always clean and has a GREAT variety of anything you could think of thats in a mall!!! I like this mall, its definitely been hanging in there, I used to loiter here when I was a young college kid, and now I actually shop. Theyve tried to keep up with the trends to keep themselves competitive, and theyre actually a few stores in here that actually save you money! Plus the barber shop and Target help out a great deal as well.

Target was the nastiest store I have EVER BEEN in. There were more clothes on the floor (literally) then was hanging on racks. It literally looked like someone blew up in it. Sad, because their ppl still showing and walking on clothes. When asked one of the employees about it, his response was I dont own this store how so sad this is. I will NEVER SHOP IN THIS TARGET EVER AGAIN, And will continue to share this horrible experience... your prices are way to high to represent such poor quality.

This mall has been here a long time. Its probably the oldest indoor mall here in southern San Diego. Like any other malls stores come and go. The mall structure remains the same through the ages. Always come here to get a smoothie and walk around. Its not a lot of foot traffic and parking is ok.

Almost back to normal, all protocols including wearing masks are enforced. We are inside at Red Robin, so many bottomless dishes & sides! Excellent food & service. Get vaccinated & get out! Many new food places! Quite a variety. Good AC, plenty of parking. New restaurants: Tajima, a new Korean place (not listed yet), and the old favorites.

Huuum, a once popular mall appears to be starting a slow death 💀. One end of the mall near Macy’s has most of the storefront’s closed.. the majority of the other stores in the mall are non-branded, their merchandise are cheap in price and quality. Security, don’t get me started, the mall has had the most security incidents for all the larger malls in San Diego county. Come on Westfield, sell the mall, allow another mall operator put some money back into it and restore the mall back to its former glory.

Very bad customer service. My family and I went.to have lunch here. My kids got the coloring sheet as normal but no crayons. Hostess kept forgetting our drinks. I ordered appetizers and when the appetizers came out we werent given plates. Our main course came out and we had no silverware to eat our food. I brought this up to the Hostess and she brought us plastic utensils. I look around and saw everyone else with silverware. I asked why we got plastic and her response was silverware is in the wash. I wont be going here anymore nor recommend this place.

Im not one that shops at malls. Most are usually too crowded & not very clean. The only reason I was there was to wait for my daughters to do some shopping with friends. This mall is very clean, very well laid out & I suspect due to the layout it doesnt seem to be overly crowded even though I notice lots of people around. Pedestrian traffic seems to flow well. Lots of areas to comfortably sit, rest & people watch. An EXCELLENT food court! Wide aisles & surprisingly large elevators & wide stairways. My only complaint is very little shaded parking, a problem on 100°+ days.

Great place with lots of good fancy restaurants as well as fast food. Nice people mostly. Has good movie theatre. They added lotto place which is cool. Target is nice. They took out the cool virtual reality ride with seatbelt. That felt real. I wish it was still there. My late girlfriend went on the space rollercoaster with me. Security doesnt always take reports seriously, so I have to protect my friend sometimes when security doesnt want to do anything about trouble makers.

All in all I had a lot of fun I guess Im comparing it in size and variety to the largest and most diverse malls in southern california but for its size and the relatively limited amount of stores it does its best . It is clean safe and the customer service was really good. But to be fair in terms of recommendation its just pretty small and a little limited no hard feelings. I will be back.

Really nice to see a shopping center where people still walk around! Cool and interesting stores. Handicapped and wheelchair access is available I noticed several different points of entry. Lots of great restaurants to grab a quick lunch. The Crepe kiosk was so delightful and delicious. They have Pizza and Ice Cream, Burgers and Burritos and Healthy Options too!

The shopping center wasnt so busy today. But, we had a great lunch at Panda Express. This shopping center is just a nice place to spend time for buying Christmas gifts or see a movie with friends and family. They offer free parking and has handicapped access. Check out the place, youll love it.

I can breastfeed there and walk around in any type of weather because its an inside mall and I love the food stands there. They have so many great stories I can go to and take my kids. Overall this is a pretty nice mall. From what I saw, the mall was clean. They have a little train that goes around the bottom floor so if you have a child, this could be fun for them. The stores look nice, a lot of the same stores you see at most kind of big city malls, such as Victorias Secret, Forever 21, Hot Topic, Spencers. Of course, there are also jewelry stores here. I mainly went in for Forever 21 and didnt really look into the other stores much, so I cant say much for the other stores, but the Forever 21 was nice. It was clean, overall it was organized. There werent too many things out of place. And I did see a lot of clothing that is in as far as fashion goes. I, personally, enjoyed looking at the clothing in the male department more than the females mainly because I found a lot of it cute and just stuff that I would wear more than anything in the female section which is pretty much the rest of the entire store ._. But yea, overall my visit here was pleasant. It wasnt even that crowded for a weekend, so that was kind of cool.

Plaza Bonita has been around for almost 40 years. Still looks great. Lots of shopping choices. From large retail stores to novelty shops. Many services as well. Interesting fact. Its the evening roosting place of one of the largest murder of crows youll ever see. A study found nearly 50 thousand of the birds gather here.

Can definitely find what you are looking for here as far as attire goes. Its a great place to find infant and childrens items, there is also a kids play area in the mall with a beautiful mini aquarium. You can find good food in the food court and yummy snacks throughout the mall. Its an ideal place to visit when it is rainy because its an inside mall. ;)

This Mall is great. There is plenty of parking, movies, shopping and lots of food opportunities. Barber shops and hairdressers for children specializing in kids cuts: Nail salons and you can even get Eyelashes. If you are tired and dont want any of these things there is even a dedicated indoor place to sit rest and relax.

I only visited the tax office upstairs above Target in the small so far. I Had to return here to visit with the staff one last time at Dream for Change for some tax paperwork and was happy to see everyone was in good spirits despite the extremely hard work that had to be done to get everything done right near the end of the extended tax season. The employees were friendly helpful knowledgeable and the store was tidy and neat. I wish a couple of the customers would have kept their negative issues to themselves but thats what people do sometimes and I suppose it will continue that people are getting something for free and still find a reason to complain instead of being grateful and humble. But thats someone else..not me. The folks here communicated extremely well over the phone and email as well. I barely squeezed in here after I had tried a couple other tax offices and was unable to complete my taxes because I had one job out of California last year as well as one in California so separate states but same employer. It didnt matter the folks here knew how to deal with it and Im currently awaiting my refund. I have worked in a tax office myself as a front desk personnel setting appointments receiving customers clients and guests grabbing coffees and helping however I can and its not a walk in the park if anyone thinks it is. People are stressed, people are upset, people are worried or whatever really. But I did not feel that when I came here even though it seemed most of the clientele were patiently waiting and worry-free. So thats that LOL I will recommend them to anybody especially this next upcoming tax season since I just learned about them this year. I have affiliates and associates who are veterans and also have friends who are in the low to no income bracket and even quite a number of people who live on the streets for a living and have no information or unable to get to a tax office or have access to somebody who can give them that information. I just remember in some of my most needed times...there were people that did the same for me and helped me with direction. If I can do the same or anybody else can I highly suggest it.Thank you~JR~

Plaza Bonita is an iconic Mall.I remember when ChooChoo junction was a beloved shop and the foyer was dominated by a monolithic Neon light structure surrounded by water features. That was in the 80s and the shopping mall had its own logo or icon which was a rainbow made of three colors (red yellow and orange)The food court is extra extra... its got errythang, and all kinds of seating and is positioned right next to the movie theater.The parking lot can be hectic as most mall parking lots are, but this one has its own branding of hell during the holidays.The street traffic Light that governs the exit from mall parking into city streets only allows for literally 3 cars per green light. It flashes green then immediately red and you have to run it just to catch YOUR TURN.Albeit this was during traffic hour...All that aside I give it 5 stars. Its got all the usual suspects to shop from including a Target

Plaza Bonita has always been a nice place to go shop. But once the expansion was finished, it boosted the look, big time! Lots of great stores and variety in the food court. Good selections. And the place is pretty well kept up, add far as cleanliness. I like.
