I was there for a wedding and the grounds are beautiful. Theres a small lake with ducks and small turtles. There is a golf course across from where the venue was. There was construction in front of the hotel but plenty of guest parking on their lot next door. We did not book a room there so I can speak for that. Overall its a nice place to visit.

This inn has such a lovely feel, the styling is beautiful and the grounds are perfection. We checked in late to an oversold hotel, and were upgraded to a lovely suite. Trent at the front desk was professional and courteous and really took care of us. I can’t say enough about the customer service. Our room was luxurious and comfortable with a beautiful double sided fireplace. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation to others. So nice!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Westlake. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The staff were kind and helpful. We spent most of our days at the pool- some days were quiet, some were filled with kids.For the price, the rooms were dated with uncomfortable beds and pillows. We could hear people stomping up and down the hallway and slamming doors for hours. Its just the way the building echos.

My family and I stayed here 3 days 2 nights and I’m already writing a review before we even check out. If you want a good night’s rest don’t stay here. First night was to noisy, there were people walking around being loud but ignored it and decided not to stay here again. Second night again. This time I called the front seat at midnight and complained about the noise in one of there villas where someone was having a party. At 12:30am a car alarm started going off on and off. Finally at 2:30 I walked over to the lobby and complained to the front desk lady and all her and the tall security guy said was “there is nothing we can do about it” Really???? I was not the only one complaining and they still didn’t do anything for 2 hours. It was unbelievable. I won’t be booking here ever again and will go back to staying at the Hyatt regency or the Four seasons just a couple minutes away.Now for the hotels: California Vehicle Code states that a police officer may tow a vehicle if the alarm system continues for 20 minutes so please when a car goes off for this long don’t tell your tired guests that there is nothing you can do.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Westlake Village Inn Hotel and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was perfect. Charged the wrong rate, and the wrong departure date, so I was locked out the night before when coming back to the room. I realized thats why I was denied access to guest-only facilities during the day. I had to go to the front desk in the rain (no indoor access from the room). They just validated my card key and admitted the wrong departure date, but there was not even a word sorry. I noticed the wrong rate after coming back home and sent an email. They sent back a corrected receipt attached to an empty mail. Again there was not even a word of apology. I cant believe they keep sending me promotion mails shamelessly.

My mom, sister, and I stayed here for one night. We got the suite. For the price we paid, this hotel is not worth spending all that money at all. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The sound coming from the pipes kept us up that I couldn’t even sleep. The grounds and ambience of the hotel is nice but that’s about it.

If I could give minus 1000 stars I would. Westlake Inn - where luxury guests meet police and harassment! I still cant believe they called a police on the disabled guest while thay had an episode! I was a nightmare!My friend invited me to stay at this hotel for her birthday party. We live in LA but she wanted a small getaway celebrating her big day. All was well, we left our stuff in the room, went to a restaurant and bar, came back to room to celebrate but unfortunately, I realized I forgot my medication that I MUST take early morning (I have a chronic condition) so I decided to go back home at night to make sure I take it on time. Sleeping for 2-3 hours and driving didnt appeal to me as I would be groggy and in pain without my meds. Birthday girl went to sleep in our room. I got in the car and as usual checked my heart rate and it was too fast so I decided to lay down for a bit on the back sit until I feel better so I can sustain a long drive (I cant sit or stand for too long without getting ill). Security pulled in and opened my door. He said I wasnt allowed to sleep in the car. I said I have a room but I need to be home early so I decided to drive now. I have a health condition and I need to rest for about 15 mins and I will go. He asked me what health condition (which is inappropriate since its private medical information) but I shared it anyway and told him I have a disability, now I have a tachicardia episode, I just need to lie down for a bit until my heart rate is calmer and I will go. He kept harassing me plus asking what I have in my car pointing at things which wasnt appropriate too. I said I dont want to wake my friend, its her birthday and she is a light sleeper and she was really looking forward to spending early morning enjoying the pool and if she is asleep now and I wake her she wont be able to fall asleep for a while again and I will feel bad if she doesnt get a good rest on her birthday. I need to go anyway I just need 15 minutes laying down. He wouldnt stop so I drove off but realized my heart rate is still bad and I cant really stop anywhere its the middle of the night and scary to park on the road so I need to go back until I feel ok to drive. Im a guest for Gods sake! Went to sit in the lobby since apparently I cant sit in my car. Asked the receptionist if its ok to sit here and she said ok. Security guard showed up and angrily said You again! Now what?! I said I still have health problem and I need to sit for a bit. A few minutes later police officer showed up and started asking me invasive questions. They will write a report on me and need my personal info. I was petrified! So scared and shocked! Im a guest here, i was followed and harassed multiple times and now police here?! Report?!!! I asked the receptionist to confirm she saw me when we just asked for towels about an hour ago. She said she didnt see me, so I asked to confirm my room number. Yes, she confirmed I indeed have a room! This is outrageous! I asked the receptionist before that if its ok to sit in the lobby and she said it was OK. I wasnt feeling well. No one asked me about my room number! They didnt even bother to confirm my room or what I was telling them about my health and just assumed Im doing what? Sleeping in their lobby like a homeless person while driving a Mercedes wearing expensive evening dress?! Everyone ignored my health reasons and my disability and just kept harassing me instead of helping! This is unacceptable! I followed his guidance and didnt sit in my car but he still called the police without bothering to verify or confirm if Im staying here while I told him I am. Im still shaken and horrified and confused and it all seems like a bad dream! Its the first time I was treated so poorly at a hotel! Forget about care or privacy or great service! If you dont look however they expect you to look or if God forbid you feel sick due to your illness they will call the police on you!P.S. What should have been a joyful, relaxing, and lovely after-wedding brunch turned into an embarrassing, stressful, awful experience. That bad experience was made worse because Westlake Village Inn did not care. We had reserved a private buffet brunch for up to 80 people, for the day after my wedding. We created a menu with Kaylyn in the catering department, discussing how much food and coffee we should order for up to 80 people, selected tables, linens and dishes and paid in full ten days before the brunch (as required). We were assured that the food would continually be replenished as needed since guests would be coming at different times.When my mom arrived early on the morning of the brunch, the servers immediately took her aside and told her that the food currently displayed was all the food we would receive - they said we could not get more food because it was a holiday weekend (Memorial Day weekend) and the other restaurants at the hotel were closed. They were firm in the fact that they absolutely could not make more food because there was no food to make. My mom was immediately shocked and horrified as the amount of food set out was clearly insufficient for 80 people, not appropriate for the come when you want brunch, not what we carefully planned and not what she paid for. The servers said they wanted us to know, there would not be enough food and that was it.The first guests arrived at 10:30. Approximately 15 people served themselves, got beverages and sat down to eat. One guest went up for a second cup of coffee and was rudely told there was no more coffee. The bacon, sausage, and potato trays were empty, and the juice and coffee station was nearly empty. Guests were arriving and were hungry. There were no drinks, no hot food, and only a few dry bagels on a plate, a bowl of yogurt, and a half-eaten tray of fruit. We were mortified.My aunt and uncle ran to their car, drove up the street and got deli platters and sandwiches from a local grocery store so my mom would not have to suffer the humiliation of 60 wedding guests arriving at a brunch where there was no food. When they returned, they began to put the food out as guests were all asking where the food was. Unknown to us, the staff and manager were watching this all unfold on their security cameras and the manager angrily came out to tell us we could not have our own food there. My mom once again told them she paid for food for 80 people. They only provided food for 20 and did not replenish as promised. Miraculously, when they saw us bring food in, they managed to find more bacon, sausage and potatoes in the back and charged my mom an additional $200. By then, the damage was done. Hungry guests had left to find breakfast, or were eating the deli platters and sandwiches my family had to bolt out to get.Meanwhile, the very nice serving staff told us this happens all the time and that we should complain. Following the brunch from hell, my mom and I contacted Kaylyn in the catering department to tell her what happened. We met with her in person, to convey how shocked and upset we were, especially after working with her to plan properly. She seemed surprised but simply apologized and told us they would make changes so this doesnt happen again. Westlake Village Inn didnt even offer to refund the additional $200 we had to pay for food we had already paid for! My wedding brunch was ruined, my mom was humiliated, we spent hundreds more than budgeted for deli platters and paying twice for the catering we already had paid for, guests were hungry, and Westlake Village Inn did nothing to even try to make it right.As local residents, the Westlake Village Inn seemed like the perfect place to end a magical wedding weekend. The Westlake Village Inn is beautiful, no doubt about that. But the beauty of the location does not make up for the awful experience. We felt scammed, and it was clear from the servers that this scam was common. We will never book another event at the Westlake Village Inn.

Disappointed. The rooms are dated. No ability to stream on TVs. Told this was because hotel could not charge for on demand if it allowed streaming based on contract with on demand provider. No free purified water. Waited over 2.5 hours for room to be serviced after requested two times.Unlike other higher end hotels, I notice management apparently doesn’t feel it is worth its time to respond to reviews. Probably emblematic of the issues here.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on a vacation for a personal event in the area and it was bit disappointing. Let’s start with our experiences that need to be approved for future guests: No filter water machines to refill a water bottle. This is a basic human need and for an expensive hotel we expected this basic service. Be warned you will need to buy water or keep asking for hotel bottled water. Room experiences- The power went out in the bathroom for three hours one night, so I had to take a shower in the dark basically. The front desk apologized but that doesn’t help me to clean my body and not hurt myself in the process. The room near the courtyard on the first floor - there was this compressor like noise that went on for 40 minutes at 5AM on Saturday morning. It drove my boyfriend and I nuts. Again, this was a horrible sleeping experience. This noise happened multiple days in our room. Again, if we paid all this money not to sleep please disclose to your guests. No blackout curtains either. Positive stuff: The grounds and restaurants are beautiful but the actual rooms and bathrooms experience was horrible. The housekeeping staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I would not recommend this place. It wasn’t enjoyable even with all the beauty of the outdoors.

I wish we would have spent more time there.It was probably the best room out of all our road trip. And it was affordable.Cute little place. Few 2 stories buildings with hotels room and parking in front for convenience.Few buildings with hotel reception, restaurant and bar.The room was great with your own balcony, great bed, spacious and very nice bathroom too.First time in thousands Oaks and I believe it could become my go to when visiting L.A.Yes, its a bit far from the city but you have everything you need and its actually feel quiet and premium.Ill definitely visit again.

We had booked the space at Westlake Village Inn for our daughter for April 8th 2023 due to its fabulous venue in the Wine Cellar. The booking included a 5 hour space reservation. We had approximately 50 guests that included the Bride (our eldest daughter) and Groom and family and friends. We explicitly requested that NO alcoholic beverages be served and that only non-alcoholic drinks such as : sodas, juices, energy drinks, coffee and hot tea be available to our guests as we have alcoholics in our family and the drive home was 2 hours or more away.We arrived a half hour behind our guests and were expecting our invited to help themselves to the aforementioned non-alcoholic drinks. What they were offered were straight wine and spirits in a alcohol only bar. (Our youngest daughter called us as we were heading to the reception after she arrived 30 minutes prior to us). Needless to say we were livid!This caused a very confusing and frustrating setup as guests from both sides of the aisle were helping themselves to alcohol immediately as they were arriving... When we stated that alcohol was not supposed to be served they started to move everyone outside while they removed the alcohol and replaced with what we originally requested. This confused our guests since they were able to get the alcohol and then not.As the event continued, and they were allowed to come back into the Cellar, confused and disappointed, they started to leave prematurely and that made us rush the cake cutting, first dance and speeches making it a mess of aesthetics.Based on our experience, we were very upset and after the reception was over 2 hours earlier then expected due to the guests wanting to leave prematurely, we reached out to the management to discuss a remedy (not just a refund for the drinks we didnt consume) We were sent to 3 different personell/levels of the catering hierarchy. No one offered anything other than the refund for the non alcoholic, unconsumed drinks. Still awaiting for the actual head of beverage/catering to get back to us toWe feel and were treated like just a number and are valid concerns fell on deaf ears. For this reason, we would not recommend or refer any type of banquets because if things do go wrong for you, they will abandon you...

STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!I was in my room changing and noticed they have tablets propped up on their dressers facing their beds. Well when I noticed this tablet while changing my clothes there was a solid green light next to the camera. I said out loud “Is this thing recording me” and the light turned off instantly. I addressed my concerns and how uncomfortable and violated this situation made me feel with the staff and eventually the hotel executive Luis Mateo and he made me feel so dismissed. His attitude felt very defensive, rude, and inconsiderate. He explained to me that they did a thoroughIT Investigation (in less than 24 hours) and when I politely asked to see the report for my peace of mind he refused to share that with me because “he doesn’t have to”. When I tried to explain to him how invasive it felt to have electronic device in my bedroom with a front and a back camera and how I felt that it was recording me because of the solid green light that was on next to the camera his response did not feel thoughtful and made me feel even more uncomfortable. He asked me condescending questions like if this was an issue don’t you think every hotel in the world would be having the same issue? He also asked me questions like, Have I been to every hotel in the world, so how would I know?. He made a comments like stating he gets crazy complaints all the time like it’s not sunny enough outside, making me feel like he was comparing my very serious concern to a complaint about the uncontrollable weather. This was a terrible experience and I still feel so uncomfortable, scarred, scared, violated, and I have absolutely 0 reassurance and comfort from the staff.

The front desk staff was extremely helpful with my stay. Annabelle or Annabella??? Sorry girl!!! ... was kind understanding and went above and beyond to help me. She listened to my needs and assisted me with a smile. The Spa Relais was very beautiful. The staff at the pool was excellent.. Sawyer was a fantastic and attentive waiter. If I picked up the menu he was in front of me within one minute ready to answer questions or take an order. The food at the pool was exceptional. The property itself is beautiful. We will be back to the spa again and will be booking one of the spa rooms as I hear they are recently remodeled. Thanks again to Annabelle (Annabella) . Give her a raise.

To begin, Jennifer was the receptionist when my wife and I checked in after our wedding. She was so amazing, kind, and got us our keys quickly. We ended up checking in really late after our wedding went to an after party and she provided us with extra water and gave us an extra hour to check out! Room was pristine and quiet with a great view. Definitely will be staying again!

Great experience overall. Just to get a few nit-picky things out of the way… a hinge on top left corner of the slide door shutters was sagging and the doors wouldn’t seem to properly close as a result. We were booked into a suite so the fireplace is accessible to both rooms via a set of glass doors. They were good on one side but looked crooked on the other. I tried fixing this and it literally came unhinged. I put it back into place as best as I could and made a point not to mess with it. The spa tub is great, but one of the jets stopped working on the third day. And the towel rack closest to the toilet is quite loose on one side. The shower is awesome and reminds us of home as we have a similar setup with the exact same fixtures. A tremendous stroke of the ego to know that we picked out a design for our home bath that smacks of high-end. And finally, we had ants. It’s summer, so it is to be expected that these guys want to beat the heat as well. A few of them could be seen in several corners of the room shortly after check in. It got a bit worse, so we were diligent about freezing food scraps and emptying our trash several times daily. The patio showcases a stunning view of the waterfall courtyard. And we could see the pool from our room as well, so it was a convenient way to check if it was too busy out there or not.

So the 2 stars are for the ambience of the resort and the spacious suite we had. But The beds are honestly some of the most uncomfortable beds and pillows ever. The bathroom didn’t even have a bath mat so floor would be soaked after a shower. The AC was noise all night. If I had a choice I wouldn’t stay here again.

Beautiful views and lovely grounds with flowers everywhere. Unfortunately, the beds are EXTREMELY hard. My husband and I had a difficult time getting comfortable and woke with sore backs. Also, we had to unplug the lamp and clock to charge our phones.The pool is cute and heated. Perfect for little kids. Bring a cooler because there wasnt anyone tending bar in the pool area.The Italian restaurant is closed on Monday so we were unable to go. They have an outdoor restaurant that requires you to order food and drinks in line.Im giving the resort 3 stars because for the price they need to make improvements regarding comfort and practicalities.

I came here last weekend for a wedding. Our room looked just like the photos! Super nice and cozy. The grounds are stunning and the pools were heated. Our daughters loved exploring around the property. The several restaurants and spa onsite were all top notch. We can’t wait to return.

Pool, location, scenery, and restaurants are perfect. It is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, room service breakfast was not great and I love hotel breakfast. We didnt order it again after that. (Even the kids werent into their waffles and french toast) Our bed had great blankets, but the mattresses were a bit on the hard side. They also never cleaned our room and have had tons of trouble with room placement for several people while checking in. Water is $4 for little bottles and $8 for big bottles in room just an fyi to any readers. There is no free breakfast if you are looking for that, but the restaurant is very close and delicious. I would come here for a date or pool day, but would not stay here again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in the rooms is incredible. For example, the paintings and artwork in the bedroom was on theme with the name of the building: St Tropez. The ambiance was comfortable without annoying noise from neighbors, despite the fact that rooms on both sides were occupied during my stay.I ordered room service for Late Night Bites and my food came faster than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. I love being able to conveniently walk to the pool from my room in just a towel/ cover-up. On the topic of walking, the grounds are large and the paved walking paths are fun to walk with stunning property views during the day and night.I dined at Stonehaus Restaurant the most, and I’d like to complement Nicole on her customer service skills and wine recommendations. :)To conclude, I highly recommend the infused water in the lobby. I enjoyed waiting for my Ubers and sipping on water in the main Lobby. The front desk staff are kind, helpful, and accommodating. Aaron was the gentleman who tended to most of my requests and I want to give him a special shout-out of Thanks.

Always a relaxing, well-positioned, and peaceful place to stay. They have more restaurants on the premise, a spa, and several markets around the hotel.Rooms are big, clean, and equipped with all you need to feel comfortable. And I believe each room has a balcony.

The service and amenities were excellent. We had a room adjacent to the golf course. Breathtaking views from our outdoor veranda. Spacious room and very clean. Went for a swim and dip in the hot tub. Loved walking the grounds with the covered walkways and draping flora. The restaurant we went to was excellent--Mediterranean foods.

Staying at the Westlake Village Inn is like enjoying Tuscany. The ambiance is terrific, the rooms are beautiful, the staff are so welcoming and pleasant.We drove a little over 2 miles to spend a couple days there, celebrating our 47th anniversary.It was a true stay cay, and was absolutely excellent.

My husband and I stayed in one of the king spa rooms for our wedding weekend and couldnt be happier. It was such a beautiful room and it was nice to be so close to the pool and spa. We were even able to take some bridal photos on the beautiful property.Alexis was amazing throughout the entire process. From booking the room and a couples massage, to making our wedding weekend special, she went above and beyond. All of the employees on site were very friendly and helpful. Fancier cookie cutter event space filled with people who think they are better than you. This place has the worst of ‘LA’ people. The type of place where you smile at a stranger and they frown back or maybe look you up and down in disgust. This did happen to me more than twice. The staff here seemed miserable and rarely made eye contact. I did have to pay for valet because I was working an event and they retrieved about 8 cars before mine. They made me wait since I clearly wasn’t priority. Bathroom didn’t have AC. The GM at the Vintage room was amazing and really took care of me. Not a fan of this spot.

The service and facilities were outstanding. We stayed in a space that overlooked the golf course. From our outdoor veranda, we have breathtaking views. Space was wide and spotless. I went for a swim and a hot tub dive. The grounds were beautiful, with covered walkways and draping flora. The restaurant where we dined was fantastic—Mediterranean cuisine.

I wish I could give them 5 starts but they do not ♻️ recycle and the plastic is out of control. Also, their gym is tiny with outdated equipment. The resort is beautiful and the service is great, except for one lady in the spa front desk, think her name was Vossy. Also, the weekends get really busy here, which is fine, but we were woken up at 1:00 am and 2:00 am on Saturday night. There is a nightclub on the property. So, if you want a quiet weekend maybe stay at the four seasons. I would stay here again, but would expect a little more from such a nice hotel.

Great place to spend the weekend for those who dont want to get out of town. Quiet place with great views and beautiful gardens and golf course. Staffs were nice enough to introduce the facilities on the map. The village inn comes with winery, restaurants, SPA, party pool, community gym and a night club. Everything you need for a cozy weekend. One thing to remember is the SPA service is clearly overpriced. If you just want a massage, search around and you can find massage stores nearby with 1/3 price of the village inn. If you have a corp expense card, never mind then. Enjoy!

We stayed here for one night and it was pretty good. The heated outside pool & jacuzzi was amazing for night swimming, but only until 10pm. They have outside lounges, bars, and restaurants open. Overall, it was super pretty just walking around. Also, they have nice showers, and every room has a balcony.

Pricing is really great, and front desk is very friendly and accommodating, Louis & Vincent at the front desk have helped me a lot. Nice Is nice gem of a hotel. However for the rates you pay we were disappointed. We stayed 3 days and it took about that long to get hot water to my room. The plumbing wasnt broken it just takes that long for the hot water to arrive at your room they need to install new water heaters. The the last day of our stay we changed rooms and the bathtub would not drain and they were unable to get a Hotel engineer there as he was busy wit was busy with a previous urgent item item. I understand that however no one from the front desk called us To tell us there would be a delay or they would come in the morning to fix it. We waited an hour and an hour and a half Before calling the front desk to find out what the delay was. They only offered an apology.Is wonderful hotel lacking and service for the rates that are charged.

Such an amazingly well designed place. Everywhere is a lovely place to walk.Most of the walkways are set far away from the main road, which keeps things nice and quiet. The parking lot is plenty large, and you can easily park on whichever side of the grounds youre going to be visiting. One side has the restaurants, the middle has the spa, and the other end has the rooms.The walkways connect all three areas, and even through into the neighboring golf course.Take some time walking around and checking out plants to build up a good appetite!

Wow, just wow. Love this place. Its like its own little city. You really dont have to go off property to eat, but you can...there are some good options nearby. The staff is great and the grounds are outstanding. This is a great weekend getaway for those who live in the area. I added this on to a business trip and brought the misses along to enjoy a weekend together. This is a favorite of wedding planners. So be on notice that weekends can involve to extra traffic. It seems to be a favorite place for locals as well. So book reservations at the property based restaurants even if you may not use them later. This is not a place I would take kids. I saw people do that, and I really didnt understand it. There are some limited services due to COVID but the hotel does its best not to make you feel like theyve pared things back. There is a separate spa area for adults. You can get access to that pool with an upgraded stay or a spa booking. There are no kids in that pool which can be nice. Also, IMPORTRANT NOTE...some of the buildings dont have elevators. Make sure you know what youve booked as you may have to schlep you stuff up some steps. This surprised me and I wished I would have been notified of that when I booked. Depending on your packing skills this could be problematic. Overall you will NOT be disappointed in your stay. Just know that its popular with wedding parties and locals going to dinner and many, many people in the valley looking for a weekend getaway. So weekends can get a tad busy. But thats the worst thing I can say about this place. I am definitely going back some day. Great memories.

There was only 1 chair in our room for sitting other than the bed.The patio isnt enclosed and theres NO PRIVACY. My daughter was married in Malibu and we decided to stay the weekend at Westlake Village Inn and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. Westlake Village Inn had everything we could ask for. We held the welcome party at Stonehaus, had the rehearsal dinner in the Wine Cellar, an after party at Bogies and a brunch at Stonehaus’ patio. The grounds made wedding pictures beautiful. Every guest said they felt like were at a destination wedding. The rooms were wonderful and reasonable. I stayed in a suite in the Atrium and it had enough room for the girls to have their makeup and hair done there. The food was great, the service and staff were fantastic. Add that to great service and its hard to beat. The only criticism I have is that the bathroom showers are a part of a high tub. Im pregnant and short and found the height of the tub intimidating to use. I had to lift my foot halfway up my body to get in. It probably wouldnt have been a big deal if I wasnt also 6 months pregnant.Other than that minor item, we loved it and will likely return if we are in the area.

The outdoor space at the hotel is simply amazing for the area and price. The outdoor setting for entry to the rooms is refreshing compared to a high rise. The rooms are clean and newer with very little issues. The hotel feels Tuscan with southern California blend. We had chicken skewers/peanut sauce for hor douerves which were too big and tough. The pear, Brie cups were delicious but bite size and hardly got circulated. Additionally, those who selected the chicken entre were met with a rubbery piece of chicken with absolutely no flavor. I ordered crispy potatoes and we got vaguely roasted. Gorgeous grounds. Rooms are grouped in their own unique setting. The room I visited had a Casablanca feel to it. I attended a birthday celebration in a beautifully decorated room overlooking the golf course and a fountain pond. The staircase leading to the celebration room met a beautiful outdoor reception area with an open bar and a musical trio. The experience was nostalgic. One drawback about that celebration room - the handicap entrance is through the service area which routes past a garbage cage. Although there wasnt any offensive odors and the service area was kept rather tidy, I feel as if the overall experience was slightly altered.

The place is very enjoyable and pretty. Stay for one or 2 nights, but do not plan to host a big event there. The service is miserable. We stayed there for my sons wedding. It started on a somewhat unpleasant note when 6 months earlier, we were shown rooms by a woman who was abrupt and borderline rude. But the property is lovely so I booked 3 double-bed rooms 4 months ahead for our family coming from abroad. One month before the wedding, I received an email asking me to confirm my booking as there must have been a mistake since you have 3 reservations under your name. I promptly confirmed and it got settled and confirmed by Laurie Gordon, the person in charge of reservation. One week before the wedding, I was requested to confirm again. I did it. One day before our arrival, Westlake called me asking me again to confirm my bookings. I missed the phone call but I left a message to say we are on our way. Nevertheless, once we arrived at the Westlake Front Desk, a staff member first could not find my reservations, then looked me straight in the eyes and told me that I would not receive the 3 double-beds rooms I had booked but 2 Kings as I had confirmed orally. I never spoke to anyone and I had specifically booked the double-bed rooms 5 months ahead, and confirmed them many times in-between. The woman at the counter was adamant, until I showed her the email from Laurie Gordon, confirming my 3 double-beds rooms. This was followed by a moment of silence then the woman took a photo of Lauries email, but she still only gave me 2 double-beds rooms, so my sons aunt had to sleep on a sofa-bed. Next, because my husband has mobility issues, we asked for a first floor room, which was granted to us after much persuasion just to find out that you had to climb steps to access the first floor and climb over the edge of a very high bathtub to access the shower. However, we had gotten the rooms, we were ready for a very happy event which we wanted to enjoy so we put these unpleasant notes behind us. Rooms are large and nice and the surrounding property is gorgeous. But the Bridal Suite is the real scandal and explains the 2 stars. We had booked the $1,300/night Suite for my future daughter-in-Law for 2 nights as a special treat and so the whole party could get ready there. Not only did we have to constantly ask for more cups, or to get the trash empty (there is a large kitchen area and we had 2 make-up artists, 2 hairdressers, 8 bridesmaids, etc. to get ready - and 6 mugs). Each time we called, we were told we would be charged for delivery if they needed to bring more cups. We ended up going to the reception area to take paper cups. No one ever came to empty the overflowing trash baskets. What is totally UNACCEPTABLE is that the morning after the wedding, the morning after the honeymoon night, someone pounded on the door at 9AM claiming my son and his wife had to be gone from the room before 11AM! My son and his wife had to gather all their presents, attires, and frantically evacuate the room, with NO HELP FROM THE STAFF. Do I need to add that the Brides family had booked a large Brunch at the same venue for that same day from 10AM-2PM for over 150 guests? At check-outs, my rooms could again not be found.(follow-up) After I posted this review, the Director of Rooms at Westlake Village Inn got in touch with me. He was very courteous and extremely dedicated at improving the services of the hotel, and at correcting our bad impression. He listened well. I did appreciate his will to improve things and I am convinced it will. I am adding a star to my review - 3 stars.

The Westlake Village Inn in golf course is quite well known. Tiger Woods has played many competitions here as have other very well-known golfers. It is quite easy to get to off of the Agoura Road. There is a lot of parking in front, as well as very attentive parking attendants. You walk into the main hall, it is very open and spacious with a few steps up to the main reception area with a beautiful view over the golf course. The drinks if you want to buy alcohol are extremely expensive, $9 for a well drink. I thought this was rather excessive. I was there for a Homeowners Association Convention so there were a lot of vendors, there was a lot of room to set up and it was quite comfortable. We then went downstairs for a catered dinner. I was not particularly impressed with the quality of the food, there was a kale salad, I dont like kale. Dinner was a roast chicken breast with some sweet potatoes and broccolini. I thought it was quite simple for a restaurant that has such a significant reputation. Dessert was a creme brulee that was not that good, my husband was with me and he said that I made much better ones myself.

The property is very nice. We stayed two nights for a wedding hosted on the property. We were planning to use my room for the groomsmen to get ready. We were in a hurry to get to the rehearsal and placed our luggage just inside the door. When we got back to the room, our bags were soaking wet, including my tux and her dress. The air conditioner was leaking water heavily. I had to use all of our bath towels to clean up the mess, called the front desk and we left for rehearsal dinner. When we came back, the front door was left open by the staff and the puddle was back on the floor. Called front desk again. No one came to address the AC, however housekeeping did bring fresh towels. Which we had to use to clean up the water. I turned the AC off and we called again the next morning. Someone came to look at the AC, when they arrived they were perturbed about the fact that we used the towels to clean up the water than they were concerned about the AC problem itself. A few more hours go by and one of the girls comes to bring us food, slips and falls in the water. Still no real attempt at resolution. The front desk said they would discount $60/night from our stay. That $120 has yet to be refunded. When I called to inquire about the status of rate change, the woman on the phone never apologized about the issues, she was very coarse and made it apparent she was not going to be of any assistance. She said she needed to speak with someone else and would call back. We have not heard a response.

The staff is all very friendly from those at the main desk, to those in the restaurants. I loved the grounds and available ammenities. (Checking out their new pool is a must!)If youre looking for a good place to eat Mediterranos has delicious food and drinks for dinner. And Stonehaus has excellent coffee, breakfast, and lunch options. Not to mention the live music!

Westlake Village Inn is the most stunning resort and venue with outstanding service, amazing restaurants, beautifully appointed rooms and views that are breathtaking. There is no bad location, every vantage point is more magnificent than the other. Have attended a few events here and its one of the establisged benues in town for meetings, charity functions, etc. Its conveniently located off of Agoura Road with a lot of parking and easy access to the main property. Beautifully maintained garden in the Italian style on the property which was the location of a photo shoot with one of my clients.

I had friends in the area & brought my girlfriend along --we stayed here on a chilly weekend in a nice business suite with a fireplace-- all in all this place was a pretty ideal spot for us-- great welcome & courteous service by the staff, nice accomodations, good locale, a nice restaurant on site, etc. My only complaint was one of the bathroom sinks had some funky mis-installed faucett handles.All in all, it was a great value for the money, & this comes from someone whos spent most of the last 15 years as a business traveller. Hope your stay is as good as ours was.

I stayed at the Westlake Village Inn last Sept for a friends wedding and the room experience was surprisingly bad for the cost. On arriving my first night, the wifi was oddly absent (but was there for the 2nd night). Also the soundproofing of my room was almost non-existent, leading to a terrible experience both nights.There was a fountain in the foyer leading to my room, but with pretty much no soundproofing on the front door, I heard the full volume of the fountain the whole time/night.This wouldnt be so bad if the soundproofing of the rest of the room wasnt also horrible, my first night trying to sleep I was hearing every clank of what sounded like dress shoes walking around (not stomping) around me. My second night there was a group of service personnel taking a break upstairs in a corner (at 11PM ~ midnight for some reason), and I could hear every word of their conversation.While the rest of the location had great views and the room/bath was nice/clean, the premium price I paid for a room plus the odd wifi + terrible soundproofing experience means I would NOT recommend this to anyone!

The place they call breakfast place is a joke. All in plastic containers (like a train station or something). Eggs was piled one on another, toast was dry and burned but sausage undercooked and cold. Beautiful property, awful staff and manager Robert W is not helpful. My wife fell on slippery and wet sidewalks. She is sore and black and blue, luckily nothing broken. The front desk refused to place a sign warning others. My sister was staying in one of three rooms I reserved. They refused to let her check because she was sharing a room with my mother who had not yet arrived. While they argued about letting me check in for my mother, when she checked her luggage at desk when checking out, they wanted to deliver it to my room and did not understand that she was checking not checking in.. Their attitude is the guest is always wrong. Visit Mediteraneo but skip the Inn. Many of our guests reported difficulty with the front desk. One person checked out early, and they cleaned the room to re-rent it and would not credit if the room was filled.

Stayed here for a few weeks now due to that porter ranch gas leak. We had to keep switching rooms because of the reservations which wasnt a big deal. The place was great. The grounds are beautiful. Very peaceful and nice. I had one really bad problem though. On the weekends here, bogies is the place to be. Fun croud club type of place. Its on the property which is great if u have a room here. The night before we got a little loud in the room at night so we turned down the music and did what we need to atay quiet. Apparently the family upstairs complaint we were too loud. Thats fine i got my warning. The next night we were having a fun time. Brought a couple people back to the room to hang out for more drinks. Yes we were probably loud again. The man at the door said we need to shut down the party. Of course i understoood that and said in sorry we will keep it down. He said no your people need to leave. I said excuse me but why? He said they arent guests. I said who cares. They are my guests. They arent all staying for the night. He told me that we got 3 complaints that night from 3 different rooms. I said why were we not informed about this earlier. He said we were the night before. I said that was 1 time, so we go from 1 warning to get out of the room? I said we shouldve gotten another warning. Then he had the ordasity to say, it doesnt matter you guys have a dog in the room(which front desk knew about and we were paying $70 fine or how ever much it was to have my dog with me), you guys are smoking in the rooms and you are doing drugs in the rooms. At this point i was very upset and said what narcotics are you talking about?! He said that their smoke detector detected marijuana and that house keeping reported that we had marijuana. I got very angry at this point because i am not a kind of person that does drugs and i do not take kindly of that. He said he was going to call the sheriffs to deal with this. I thought to myself you know what let me just get the party shut down and have a place to sleep at night. Last thing i need is a dui on my driving record. So i had everyone leave but my 2 friends that were going to stay. The man at the door told me the other friend needs to leave. I told him hes drunk and cant drive home. Please let him stay. He said we cant do that he is not a guest. I told him he cant drive home. Please understand this for i am cooperating with you guys at this point. He said its not his problem where he goes. So i told my friend to go sleep in his car. Honestly i loved the place. I was shooting for a 4 or 5 star ratting until this moment. I still would recommend this hotel, but god forbid you sneeze or fart too loud you may just get kicked out and be told that your doing drugs.

I booked an executive room through Orbitz for an upcoming business trip. Because Id be requesting late check-in the email confirmation recommended that I contact the property directly for their late-check-in policy. I called Westlake Village Inn to follow up and received the absolute worst customer service. The person I spoke with was rude about allowing me to check in at 11pm and additionally would not accommodate a request for a slightly later check out. I explained that my request was because of late business hours (Im a wedding vendor and would be working a wedding until 11pm that night and hoped to check in after the wedding to rest and check out around 1pm the following day). They could neither confirm my late check-in or do anything for me for pushing my check-out by one hour. For a four diamond luxury hotel this was not the type of accommodations Id expect. I promptly cancelled my reservations and booked with a nicer hotel that was experienced in assisting customers with business needs.
