This is a great place. Chicken and fish have a great fried crust, fantastic flavor, and it is spicy. We got the medium and had to have water and milk. It is a instant hot and slow lingering heart. The fry seasoning is tasty with the house sauce.

This place is so good! I’ve been twice. Both times I had excellent service and a very tasty meal. The first time I had a chicken sandwich and the second catfish. I think the catfish is my favorite, but either will definitely do. They do a good job of balancing the spice with a little sweet and the dry rub fried crunch with coleslaw and pickle textures. THEY DO NOT SKIMP ON THE SPICE. But I like that. Some other hot chicken places are a little weak.

The value you get isnt bad. The food taste really good. I got the no spice option and the flavor on the fish and chicken sandwich was tasty. I heard and the workers said the spice they have here is Asian (Indian/Chinese) spicy so its spicier than what Americans are used to.The service here was A1. Granted I was the only one here but they gave me the best service possible. Very attentive. Their special sauce is good as well.Id definitely come back here in a heart beat.

Yyyyooooooo this place is absolute 🔥🔥🔥! When I walked in Caro caught me at the door and immediately asked me how I was and if I’d ever been here before and when I said no he told me about the place and what they had and luckily for me he then took his time to really work through the spice levels because let me tell you that x hot is so spicy but SOOOO GGGOOODDDDD!!!! I got the #1 with one hot and one x-hot chicken slider and all the flavors with the pickles coleslaw and sauce blended perfectly! I also had to try a tender and I wasn’t disappointed there either! Definitely recommend this place 10/10! Caro was so chill and came and spent time with me and other customers which is great! I’ll definitely be back

Saw them in Bradley Martyns YouTube and started following their IG pg so if I was ever in LA Id check them out, since my wife and I love chicken sandwiches. We found ourselves in LA for our honeymoon so had to check it out. We got the combo #1, her spice level was med, mine was hot and I added cheese. The wife said her spice level was just right. The hot definitely had a kick to it, but I think I couldve went x-hot. Next time. Sandwiches were delicious, right up there w/our favorite one so far (from scratch in San Jose). Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. The guy at the counter was very nice and helpful also.

Off the beaten path, this place was a great find when I had to stop to have my lunch on a day out in Hollywood. The restaurateur could not have been more helpful. He was very helpful in reccommending what I order. The end result was a meal which lived up to the promise and hype.

Do yourself a favor and eat here! Fish slider A-amazing! Fries are flavored to perfection and crunchy! Sauce on the side is delish! We had the #3 which is 1 chicken and 1 fish! I enjoyed the mild flavor while my husband loved the kick of spice the medium offered. Owners are friendly, kind and have superb customer service! A must try!

WOW! Where do I even begin? As soon as I entered the door and was greeted by Arsen I knew we were in for a good experience. He was very patient with us as we were unsure what to order and he gladly explained almost everything on the menu to us from the colour of the buns to how spicy each level would be.I ended up getting a hot combo #1 and my girlfriend chose the medium combo #3. Thanks to Arsen it was the perfect level of spice for us and we enjoyed every bite. The food was absolutely amazing but my only regret is not ordering more for takeout to eat later!The restaurant was exceptionally clean and very modern looking. The staff must be very meticulous when it comes to cleaning.Arsen went above and beyond for us. When we ordered our food we got an additional drink to go that we kept cold in the fridge until we were ready to leave. He left us a note on the door as a reminder not to forget it!The next time I visit LA I know the first stop I have to make is at Whistlin Dixie!

INCREDIBLE HALAL FOOD!!!Pictured here is Combo 1 + a side of 10 Chicken Wings (5 mild & 5 medium spice). You don’t get to pick your flavour of wings - they’re kind of a hot bbq flavour. The aioli sauce for the fries are great, the friess themselves are crunchy & well seasoned.The burger….words fail me. Incredibly crispy yet extremely tender & juicy on the inside. Sauced perfectly & for an extra $1 throw on some cheese to really complete the perfect burger. Came all the way from Toronto to LA for good food & Whistlin’ Dixie does not disappoint!PS the different colour buns are just for aesthetics, they all taste the same but gotta look good for the gram!

This is not your regular spicy scale. It is really spicy even for people from south east Asia who eat spicy food on daily basis.The waiter was nice enough to explain the danger of choosing extra hot, but it nearly took my breath away with first bite. It was so spicy that we needed cold drink right away. We had to bring home and removed the red powder off the meat. It is really too spicy even for us who eat spicy food all the time.If you want to impress your girlfriend or friends, this is a good place to do so. But be warned this is not American scale but Asian or middle eastern. It is REALLY spicy! If you eat at home, make sure you have a glass of milk with you to reduce the spiciness.

Just a tad bit off the strip but worth the 5 minute walk. I split a combo with my wife (you get 2 sandwiches in a combo) and brought all 4 of my adult children and a girlfriend. I had the fish sandwich and it was amazing. The entire family gives this 5 stars! The only negative but not a negative is it took a bit to get the food but that’s because it was made fresh. It’s a must have if you’re in the area!!

Haven’t had hot chicken in quite awhile. This happened to be directly across the street from the hotel I was staying at and had 4+ stars. They did not disappoint! The different colored buns were a neat feature with varying levels of heat on the chicken. Spices were flavorful. If I’m ever back in CA again I’ll be here.

Went here about a week and a half ago. Chicken was seasoned very well, and the pickles and coleslaw pair nicely with it. They offer honey on the side and that takes it to another level, the sweet and savoriness. The owners are very nice and make sure you’re satisfied with your meal. Definitely coming back!

We have had lunch and dinner here which was our first lunch experience in LA USA as we are from Australia, the guy who served us was super friendly and couldn’t have been nicer or helped us more. The next time we came in he remembered us and made us feel just as welcome. The food was really nice and the place was clean and tidy. Definitely well priced probably one of our cheapest meals so far. Highly recommend 😀

I believe the gentleman who helped me was the owner. He was amazing, super nice, helpful and his attitude was kind. I had the #1 and let me tell you…. It is way better the Dave’s hot chicken or any hot chicken around West Hollywood. I’m a spice addict so super excited to try an off menu super spice next time I stop in. Go try them out. Definitely worth it!! Price is amazing! Service is amazing! And the food is so satisfying.

Hidden gem off of Hollywood strip, the fish sliders were amazing. The batter they use translates the spice really well and adds a nice texture to each bite. I like that its fresh and made to order with so many levels of spiciness offered. There was generous portions of catfish but better yet it was also perfectly moist and crispy. We are definitely making this one of our must visit Hollywood spots when we come to the area.

This place is located just off the busy part of Hollywood Blvd on the 2nd floor of a little strip mall. We went at 7 on a Saturday and there was no wait. The cashier was super friendly and suggested several items to us. I got a chicken sandwich (medium) and cheese fries. They were out of the flavored buns. My husband got tenders (the 2nd from the spicest) and we tried a fish sandwich at the recommendation of the cashier. The food was all super delicious, the spice levels were right on, and the chicken had great flavor. Definitely earns some of the best hot chicken in LA. The fish had great flavor, but was a little fishy tasting for me, but I dont like fish. If were in the area again we will return!

This place is awesome. The owner explained how the menu worked, and was hospitable too. He came and checked on everyone who was dining there that day. **** if you like spicy food, try the MEDIUM first. If you don’t like spicy food that much, the medium will be too much for you. I spent a year in India and the HOT chicken here was hot - to say the least 🔥 5 stars

Pretty rude. Tiny tenders.I placed an online order, walk into the restaurant when I received notification that my order was ready. I headed to the restroom and first thing I hear is, “Restroom for customers only” before even getting greeted.I got my food after washing my hands and dined in as that same employee was aware, but never received an apology.Pretty bad customer service.Not to mention, the tenders were probably half the size compared to what I’m used to seeing at other similar spicy chicken joints. Tiny tenders.Bad experience.

Oh man! This chicken slider was amazing! I dont even like cole slaw but they put their slaw on these sliders and it just fits. It’s so good. If I didn’t live in Vegas I’d be here more often. The 2 slider with fry combo is more than enough for me to eat, it’ll easily be a full second meal. These sliders are huge and absolutely amazing! Do not pass up this place. This place is awesome.

This is by far the best hot chicken spot in LA. They even have fish, didn’t even know that until I picked up my order. Must try the fish next time.The chicken was tender and moist on the inside and just crispy and spicy with a good kick on the outside. It really satisfies all the cravings for some delicious Nashville style comfort food. Not to mention the super nice girl I placed my order with who got my order down to the condiment requests.If your craving chicken, even if your not a spicy eater, they can make it just perfect crispy outside and tender mouthwatering inside. Im a regular since the day they opened. Food is fire. Cant say enough good things about Marquis (sorry if misspelled) and Arson. I always hope one of these guys will be there when I come in. They give such attentive service. I was there the other night, last order of the night and some girls came in behind me even though theyre closed. They looked so disappointed they couldnt order. The guys whispered a little then agreed to take their order. It was obvious they were tired and ready to go but stayed and helped them since most places are closed at night. They are sweet but not inappropriate. Theyre never annoyed by my order specifications and never get my order wrong. Give those kids a raise! Seriously.P. S. my boyfriend has been bugging me about remembering to leave a good review. I hope your boss sees this!

I saw the guy in the front sniffing sandwiches but I thought to myself that I must be wrong. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich but then I tasted the fish sandwich and could not even swallow it. Really nice.I took the extra hot...its quite spicy for someone who is already used to eating spicy food....I was allowed to taste the strongest...there it makes you seasoned and then the problem it completely camouflages the taste of the rest which is excellent...the chicken is real chicken...the bread...you choose its color but it doesnt change the taste....To try if you are in the area...plus its really reasonable price-wise for L.A (20 dollars for 2 with the tip 😉) where often...its super expensive for what it is....

I ordered it hot and it tasted like something between Shin Ramyun and Buldak! Its quite addictive, so I think Ill be going again soon. Recommended if you don’t mind salty foods.

Clear menu with explanations from employees if necessary. Nice team, prices are fair and the food was really tasty with large portions (at least for us ;D)

We were greeted by Arsen who was very welcoming and cheerful. He knew how to put us at ease even though we were tourists. The menu is extensive and prices vary between $10 and $20. Fast food is halal certified! I thank Arsen for this moment after a busy day which allowed us to relax.
