Alright, this place is great except very confusing. To find the super chargers for Tesla, they are on P2. Which is the second floor down? So you have to go, and till left of the Whole Foods off. El Camino, go down 2 flights. OK, and you have to go. You have to follow the signs, and its Chris cross traffic. Good luck, and dont leave your trash.

Healthy-oriented, efficient, compact grocery store. Offers ready made dishes, food buffet, smoothie/coffee, juice station. Easy to navigate store with plenty of clerks, sometimes more clerks than customers. Knowledgeable butchers in the meat department and fishmongers. Fresh produce and a bakery department. Has a neighborhood feel. Buy their 365 brand for competitive pricing. Some things are very expensive, but some items are fair priced. They have special deal every Friday, seating for eating. Parking takes a bit of maneuvering. Now owned by Amazon so sign up for Amazon Prime in order to take advantage of discounted deals with the Amazon Prime barcode.

The store is well laid out, has an impressively large selection of products (including many organic ones), and offers an excellent hot bar. Unfortunately, the coffee/smoothie bar seems to often be closed. Whole Foods is also a bit more expensive than other grocery stores, but the Amazon Prime/WholeFoods membership offer great discounts.

Great location with Tesla chargers in the basement. Grocery pickup and Amazon pickup services both run well and smooth. Have the usual selection of Whole Foods groceries, very clean and well organized. Helpful staff.

I often have to buy birthday cakes. I buy it at Whole Foods in Redwood City and here, but I ended up buying it twice at Whole Foods in Los Altos this month. But the strange thing is that the staff at the cake corner here say they cant always give a happy birthday sign even today, even a week ago. Its really strange.

Nice version of Whole Foods but I always find the layout to be confusing. We always find the quality of the fresh foods to be really high. When the meat and fish items are on sale the pricing can be quite competitive.

Shoppers here are terrible. A lot of pretentious people, the worst kind of neighborhood here. Got cut in line, parking was a mess in the confusing one way underground garage. Also couldnt even find bottled water, every fridge is filled with expensive sodas and sugary fruit juices, especially the ones nearest to the checkout line. This is a far cry from other grocery stores. I thought this place is where youre supposed to be finding whole[some] foods?Honestly a terrible experience, and I regret coming here. If this is what you pay a premium for to go to whole foods, then its quite disappointing.

I loved this Whole Foods in Los Altos. Usually when we go on vacation we make at least one visit to the local Whole Foods for a well needed home-cooked meal after being on vacation for a week or so. Best food bar out of any of the Whole Foods I have been to in Beverly Hills, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, or Orlando. Everything was fresh and light. We had chow mien, rice with vegetables, veggie spring rolls, pulled chicken, pulled pork, wings, steamed mixed veggies (California blend- broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower). We also had corn bread instead of dessert because usually it is sweet but I think because we were on the west coast that it was not as sweet but we didnt mind because it was still delicious.

This is a typical Whole Foods, with everything you expect and nothing you dont. Organic and socially conscious choices abound.One novel point (for me, at least) was the below ground parking structure. I wish all Whole Foods had this feature.(Though the organic bananas looked a little rough handled. Granted, it was end of day, but . . . )2023I discovered another cool feature of the underground parking: 2nd level has Tesla Superchargers, available during business hours, posted as 0800 to 2200.Tesla signage is small, just drive to bottom level and go to the back.

Used to be a great store but recently the quality of the A2 milk product (this is mainly why I visit WF, and along with it I pick up other items) has gone down with milk frequently getting spoiled just a day after purchasing and even if it is weeks out from the best use by date.With Sprouts not around, there isnt a whole lot of options for me to pickup A2 milk in the neighborhood - so I may continue to take a chance here but I have reduced what I purchase from here because of these frequent occurrences. Im sure you can do better given the premium pricing for these products.

Parking is at first a little odd to navigate, being underneath the store. But, once you get there is actually pretty easy. The lanes are well marked, its lit well enough, and busy enough that I felt safe. Two separate stairs and two elevators make easy access to the store. Standard Whole Foods once inside.

Got a tuna melt here at the sandwich station. Old guy very happily made my sandwich. Asked me what cheese I want and I said sharp cheddar. He went into this whole story about how he remembers just after world war 2 and how sharp cheddar was so hard to come by. Sweet old man, sandwich was great.Also got hot foods: barbacoa, sesame tofu, string beans, Spanish rice. They have so much here. Like 4 types of rice I could see right off the bat.

Update as of October 2022:Ugh! What happened to this store? Literally everything went downhill. Most fresh foods out with bare shelves, limited supply, does not have the same cooked items as other stores (e.g., no Turkey or vegan meatballs). The pizza is supposed to be under a heat lamp once cooked but was cold so something is off and that’s a recipe for food poisoning. Their freezers had signs that they weren’t working. One cashier so customers had to use self check-out with large carts.No chopsticks or soy sauce for the sushi which was just as well since the sushi looked terrible this time. Chopped watermelon was inedible and a waste of money.It’s as if there was no one managing the store and everything went to pot. So disappointed. At least the parking garage was still free and safe.Original Review:One of the bigger stores that has a layout that is a bit different than other Whole Foods. I like that they have Amazon pick up here. There’s an underground parking garage with elevators and stairs.Staff are helpful.

Wonderful, tantalizing aromas calling us to the self serve deli, and the deli counter had dishes already prepared, counter person was helpful and happy to serve us. Back over at the warm self serve entrees the meatloaf looked traditional but instead it had mushrooms, my only regret, the roast beef was excellent, the cumin vegetables were a little too spicy, the Spanish rice was a little crunchy, but the sour cream potatoes such a find, the citrus pork was 👏 wonderful, the stuffing was soggy but still normal whatever normal is to you. The honey butter salmon a favorite and was pleasing to my taste buds. I had a beet salad that was not overly seasoned, just perfect, I loved it. Overall a pleasant experience except I was looking more for a traditional meatloaf with the ketchup sauce. Thank you Whole Foods For doing the cooking for us. Still have cheese and cracker to taste on another break, but each break was happy today thanks to our food from you😊👏

😳kind of a mess today. Staff knows but can’t do anything. Bought sushi, a salad and a yogurt for lunch and dinner. But they were out of chopsticks in the sushi area, and soy sauce, so I went to the front and they are out of those plus forks and spoons and napkins. The staff person told me to tell the customer service department and they simply said they have no forks spoons, knives, chopsticks or napkins in the store and that they can’t get any. So they’re selling all of us to go food with nothing to eat it but your own hands. Gross.Also whole sections have nothing in them. Some freezer, some produce, some meat area, some center cases are all just empty. Are we entering the Soviet period here? It’s all just breaking down.

Two points I dont think Wholefoods is a good market:1. Experiences are bad for me. Have shopped in WF for 3 years, I have to say the service is quite bad. Staffs are cold & indifferent. So many times I was apparently treated differently by the Cashier. I dont have such feeling in Safeway nearby.2. The choices of groceries are normally too limited, and lots of their own cooked foods are just taste terrible.

I have been shopping at this branch for a few years and Ive been generally happy with the quality of their food and what they have available. Of course I never wrote a review until something started going wrong. For the third time in a month, Ive noticed that they either have or were about to charge me incorrectly. The way these happened were that I bought a produce item and I was charged for something similar but more expensive than what I actually purchased.People, please check if youre being charged correctly even if youre rich enough not to care about being charged an extra $10 for that salmon steak. Youll be putting pressure on the store management to get their act together and to ensure that they have proper system in place for pricing.UPDATE 2/26/17: This happened again today with two produce items. For one of the items, I brought it up with the cashier before paying and she corrected it. For the other one, I told her Ill go and check again to be sure. After I verified that I had been charged extra, I was sent to customer service. And the customer service refunded the whole price of the item. This is nice, and I ask that everyone double-check the prices to get a full refund on the items they were overcharged. Hoping that eventually the management would fix the pricing issue that hey have.

Below are some important details for visitorsThis surely is one of the larger Whole Foods chains and has 2 levels of parking plus a limited outdoor parking space. Its important to note that its mighty crowded to visit here on Sundays but not as much crowded on Saturday evenings. [Ive typically seen this place to run out of Lactose Free milk and fruits by Saturday evenings :-)]You might find the fruits and vegetables [especially the organic ones] to be priced a bit higher than the other outlets but then again thats always been the case with Whole Foods.None the less, the service has been top notch fantastic, the staff has always been kind and helpful and self-checkout tends to save a lot of time [plus always perks for a prime member]Useful 13 Funny 8 Cool 12Share

We shop regularly at whole foods. They have good collection for everything (in terms of quality as well) and there arent many alternatives to them.I dont like a couple of things:1. Whole foods doesnt carry much of locally grown produce, which is sad. Much of the stuff comes from outside the country.2. They always overcharge you for food produce you pick (weve *always* been charged for organic stuff even if we pick conventional!). It has never been the other way round! We always have to double check the receipt. Today when the person billing charged for organic bell peppers and I corrected saying I picked it from conventional section she showed me the Whole Trade sticker and said thats for organic stuff. She immediately asked if I still wanted it - well of course I did. Later I checked in the food section and everything had the Whole Trade sticker - including the conventional ones! They need to train their employees better. Unfortunately you cannot go back in for every dollar but it sucks to overpay on things you didnt pick.

This store is huge in comparison to our WF in CT. So envious of the produce section! Also the cheese, beer and wine, bread... It is so clean and well stocked. A fine all-round high end very large grocery market place carrying a multitude selections of food, drinks, snacks, fresh produce, frozen foods, prepared foods and desserts for take home. Lots of fresh bread and quality commercial bread choices. Organic choices in food along with non-organic. Prices run on the expensive side, although some discounts are given if you are a special member of Amazon. Parking is plentiful. There is handicap and electric car recharge designated parking. Bathrooms are usually well-equipped and handicap accessible. Staff is trained to be very helpful, and to keep the store tidy and clean. There are food store shoppers and delivery service available here. I believe that Amazon ordered items can be picked up from lockers here (?) There had been a casual dining area both indoors and outdoors before covid rules destroyed that. At this point of time, they could and should reinstate the outdoor dining areas, but have chosen not to instead. 🙁 Management please look into that. You have customers that are traveling far by car, bus, hike, and bike that are hungry and would like to eat on spot.

I got bad fruits many times. Especially strawberries and blueberries. They put bad ones in side the box and very hard to see when you buy them. Have been a customer for about seven years now. Will never get over the sticker shock of certain items, but thats coming from someone earning below the median income of the intended clientele. In many ways out of place shopping here, but the quality of the products keep me coming back. Produce cannot be beat - at least when compared to my alternatives of Safeway and Sprouts. Sadly, the quality of the one pizza that would sometimes be my only reason for visiting is inconsistent and lately so unappealing that Ive passed it up. Most of my shopping is in the perimeter, but when you venture into the aisles youll find the extensive selection of items to be dizzying and not for the indecisive. Whatever type you are, youre bound to find the item that fits your taste perfectly. Parking is a zoo and expect entitled behavior. Dont bother parking in the ground level lot unless you regularly score that elusive spot or eye one before you turn in; instead just drive down to the first level of underground. As for the staff, just when you get used to your favorite face or personality on the other side of the checkout line, they disappear. Only two familiar faces remain, and it seems the newest staff arent as chipper as the ones who have come before. May be a testament to corporate struggles and subsequent changes, but hopefully they come out of this rough patch for the better.

This place has a welcoming atmosphere. Staff are helpful and friendly. It is a wide open space with a large floor area. Each department has its own atmosphere to it. This is my first review ever. Normally, I don’t complain about the quality of the service at a place I visit, but I met the rudest cashier ever during my most recent visit to the Whole Foods store in Los Altos. Her name is Shiva, and the fact that she is a supervisor as well says a lot. Not only did she not greet me, she charged me for an item that I didn’t buy. When I politely told her that she overcharged me, she replied that I was being rude and that she was busy. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Of course, Shiva probably has never heard of apologizing and that she needs to treat customers with respect. Then, she started to angrily throw the items that I had bought into my bag. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it to me, so I had to ask her coworker. Ive been popping into this Whole Foods for over 10 years now. Its never been my go to supermarket but I buy my bulk grains plus a few other randoms items there. Some of their organic vegetables are noticeably better tasting than the competitors. Amazon has made some changes and they show. Items that I would never ever purchase are lower in price and they moved from never-never buy to just sometimes status. The parking is crowded but Ive always managed to find a spot. Strangely, they are one of the few places with bins to recycle fabric (at least they used to) so I bring my ragged stuff here.

This is my favorite grocery store in the area, but I had an awful experience today due to the poor implementation of the new COVID restrictions from the county. The line to wait to enter the store forces people to either pass extremely close by each other (not 6 ft) or to walk through the front parking lot where the drivers dont pay any attention to the pedestrians. I end up shopping here every week--Im too busy to go to multiple grocery stores, and this has the best selection of gluten-free flours and prepared goods in the area. They even carry Udi brand bread and pizza crusts (which Ive heard are fantastic). The only gluten free item Ive wanted that they dont carry is Authentic Foods Superfine brown rice flour.They also have a large selection of organic dairy and meats--same as every other Whole Foods. Especially when there is no sign that states that I have to show anything to anyone about the packages i am picking up. And ive been doing this for 2+years and had this experience for yhe first time here. And to top it off she was sitting down looking at us pick the packages not once did she say something untill we had left and were almost walking out the door.

Since the pandemic started they have been taking some measures to protect employees and customers but they could be doing more to prevent spread of Covid-19. There are two stairways and both could be made one way so that people dont pass each other close but six months in this hasnt happened. They also have two entrances and one could be only an entrance and the other one an exit but also hasnt been implemented. These two are simple and dont require any expense and it only shows how much management (doesnt) care.

Since Amazon has bought in this company it has gotten a lot better the prices are lower the old products that just one selling got phased out some my old stables gods phased out but thats OK Disney stuff came in that was lot better I call it the Disneyland by the Bay market where you just have a lot of fun just hanging out in the market shopping and doing things at 1st quality products theyre great soaps Gray cosmetics on nice me calendar and everything else is just very pleasant go I dont recommend the sushi bar though this is not real sushi armies to real sushi after all I am Japanese

This is the Whole Foods I go to when Im visiting my family in Mtn View. They have a great variety of healthy foods to purchase. This store is the usual clean and efficient as all the Whole Foods Ive been to.

I appreciate the underground parking, although I usually try and park in the limited spaces outside the front of the store. My wife and I appreciate the selection of healthy food here as well as the deli, sushi bar, and hotbar.

Wholefoods likes to brand itself as an organic store yet NOT a SINGLE prepared food item is organic. Wholefoods should change its name to *Glyphosate Foods* instead. Find a real legit local organic food market instead! Wholefoods is nothing more than a corporate machine trying to squeeze as much profit out of its customers as possible. Save your money and go shop at a real organic market and support a local business.

The best part of this Whole Foods is the attached Smitten Ice Cream shop, otherwise this store is standard fare. Anything you would expect for groceries, but you can find better hot foods at the Whole Foods in Cupertino and Santa Clara.

I work for this place for 3 years I was an assistant manager in the meat department in my three years of employment I observed a lot of cross-contamination with Organic Goods and even at times I caught employs selling non-organic items as organic items to me this is stealing from the customer this is lying to the customer management has been made aware of this and all they do is terminate people that make them aware of every situation in my opinion do your research and find a better place to buy organic Goods.... Im not aware of the other Whole practices but who would want to take that kind of risk but I am 100% aware of Los Altos Whole Foods practices and theyre not good by any means.

Looking forward to seeing what the acquisition by Amazon will do to the prices and the quality. I like this Whole Foods in particular because I can make freshly ground honey roasted peanut butter here as well as regular peanut butter and almond butter.

They tend to overcharge you at the counter by mistake a lot more than other whole foods. Somehow their sale prices in the system are not updated. I bought 4 pounds of grapes and they overcharged me by 6 dollars (the grapes where expensive :/). I finallyve gone to customer service. They apologised and gave me a WF gift card saying the whole grape purchase is on the house. I later came to realize that they loaded only 5 dollars on the gift card when the whole grape purchase was $14 dollars. What a bunch of liars and what a bunch of waste of time.

Pretty good place but some of the food like pizza sits there for a while and reheating it just doesnt do the whole thing again. And a slice is now 4 or you buy 2 for sale and stuff your self and thinking... Ummm why not eat the whole thing since I paid for it.

Well it was hard finding help, we were looking for coconut oil, thats the first thing that went wrong, second we ordered a deli sandwich to share and the guy apologized for cutting it not evenly, one small side one large side, so ok I guess cant ask him to redo it . Then no clean spots to eat at, food stains and a blk hair on the table, pretty gross !!! 3rd The girl at checkout yells Ill help the next person in line and some guy behind me flies up front with his stuff ! It was Sunday and kinda busy so maybe that was the reason ? I love the whole foods in Cupertino, next time Ill go to that one instead. :))

This is pretty much a standard Whole Foods market with the usual groceries, produce and prepared food options. They can sometimes be understaffed and slow at the deli and burrito bar but overall the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Lots of variety, lots of products, amazing salad, olive, deli bar! prices on the + side but theres a few cheap wonders. i love their cheese, chips, and essential oil sections.
